141  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: IT pro needed for venture backed bitcoin startup on: November 29, 2023, 12:43:54 PM
First off good luck on your startup! And congrats!
Your looking for multiple hats for one role?
Sounds like you need a CTO, Scrum and fullstack dev just to get started.
A lot of devs won't touch equity based stuff unless they believe in it or like you/your idea.
Some might do it for a portfolio piece.
So if your backed and offer a salary I'm interested in talking but I'd like to know more about your startup
I'm currently a CTO for a corporation that deals in brokering it services and equipment as well as consulting.
I've done a few Bitcoin projects out of love. I had hoped for the best but expected the worst and landed somewhere between in most.
Blockchain in general changed my life and got me back into the security scene. I've been poking around for years and still haven't found any security flaws in my scope to exploit.
The last year or so I've been doing ai work , even got a job offer at replika! It wasn't something I saw myself doing long term. Chatbots are boring.
142  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Register your bitcoin .₿ handle powered by Rootstock on: November 29, 2023, 12:10:20 PM
Can you summarize this services practical application in a single sentence?
My apologies I just don't understand the bigger picture, seems like a url vanity service
I just don't get why fees halve , or the sub handle to be honest.
143  Economy / Services / Re: [SERVICE] Free Testnet Bitcoins on: November 29, 2023, 11:49:27 AM
I've always felt that testnet coins would be eventually treated as an alt and hold some sort of value, some treasure goblins probably waiting for that day.
It's still a functional chain/coin, I'm kind of amazed BTC been worth up to 70k a coin but a testnet coin isn't even a penny.

I respect how it's gated and the community protects it too. Ie, no bounties, but devs can have it.
144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Why Bitcoin Legacy Address got Replaced with Segwit on: November 29, 2023, 04:01:22 AM
Segwit has a lighter byte weight, therefore lower fees.
Legacy is still fine but being the original it's a heavier byte weight.
In the last couple years some major exchanges have switched to segwit/ms.
145  Other / Meta / Re: How does total time logged in count? on: November 29, 2023, 03:51:54 AM
I'm at 40 days 1hr 25 mins.

I've never thought about how it worked till seeing this post.

This is my favorite/only forum these days.
146  Other / Meta / Re: DT1 and DT2 Explained - Gods of Bitcointalk on: November 28, 2023, 06:00:44 AM
I would have guessed Satoshi had more power within the DT, but I was wrong.
Satoshi doesn't belong on DT: he doesn't have a custom Trust list, and never left any feedback.

I'm not sure if I should even post a serious answer in this topic.
If anyone gets a pass it's him though, right? Imagine "if" he came back,
That would be like Jesus walking into a church not allowed to preach and told to take a seat.
147  Other / Off-topic / Re: What Black Friday deals are you going for? on: November 27, 2023, 11:40:00 PM
At this point even today (Cyber Monday) I haven't gotten anything else consumer/reaction purchases wise.
I did manage to get rebar for 3.49 a 20ft 3/8s stick today, I thought that was a deal haha.
I'm currently building a shop/small warehouse so anything beneficial to this project is my primary focus.
I've been consolidating wants vs needs  and liabilities vs assets this year... However my mother in law hasn't ever gotten anything from me for a holiday(worth remembering) we usually swap coffee related gifts. I doubt this gets me brownie points in her book but it damn sure did in my wife's.

150  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why do members switch campaigns always? on: November 27, 2023, 12:04:50 AM
The decision to switch campaigns is influenced by a mix of financial incentives, campaign dynamics, personal preferences, and perceptions of stability and management styles.I don't really hop campaigns but I do see the value in hopping depending on your situation.
151  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Building a unique news site need mybb expert on: November 26, 2023, 10:41:42 PM

The site is in php, so I have no issues with functionality.   I have an excellent graphics designer, so I need someone who is familiar with mybb theming.  CSS especially - I always have issues with responsive CSS on mobile vs desktop.

Vod
I know this for desktop, I was doing it for clan sites when I was like 12-14 years old. But not on myBB and mobile wasn't really a thing back then and even now I'm not the best at mobile optimization for standard sites.  But I could possibly help.
152  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: What are your true odds of hitting 10000 at freebitco.in? on: November 25, 2023, 12:26:20 AM
I haven't seen anyone hit the $200 roll, but I know people win the weekly lotto for a fact, although now days it doesn't seem worth the trouble to play the lotto.

156  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Black Friday / Cyber Monday Collectible Deals on: November 24, 2023, 01:14:00 PM
Just curious if anyone is aware of any good deals for the Black Friday- Cyber Monday “event” this year. Stuff like hardware wallets, coins etc.  Some of you may remember when KeepKey had like $6 hardware wallets on Black Friday two years ago or so, I think I ordered around 10 of them lol. So yeah, looking for deals like that..

Perhaps some of the makers in here are offering Black Friday-Cyber Monday deals for their goods/services and could share here ..

I'd order for people @ %5 (over $200) %10(under $200) fiat to crypto if someone wanted to use me as an anonymous acquisition souce for something like a flipper zero or Amazon deal.

I'm also looking for crypto Black Friday sales! Cheap cool stuff I can gift!
157  Other / Off-topic / What Black Friday deals are you going for? on: November 24, 2023, 01:08:31 PM
Went to my mother in-laws house for thanksgiving and her TV was dated and small. The game sucked on it!
So I went to Walmaet.com and got her a 65" for $230!

I wish they had Black Friday deals on things like septic systems and gravel delivery.

What deals are y'all hunting for today?
158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bittrex is Closing Down on: November 21, 2023, 05:19:02 PM
They are making a lot of BTC from this.
Probally more than they ever will remaining in operation.
All those old locked accounts that couldn't get verified from pre kyc days.
All those dust account.Inactive accounts. People that died or got incarcerated ECT.
Remember you don't set up beneficiaries and stuff with these accounts so they just treat it as unclaimed property
Theres still millions unclaimed in us accounts. (Deadlines past due)
But then again I don't really remember what started this downfall they may be up to their neck in fines and stuff, idk.
159  Economy / Services / Re: I'm open for work. on: November 21, 2023, 02:06:07 PM
It is good to see variety of services but it includes Brute Forcing too which makes me wonder if the service can be used for evil works ?
Also, for Brute Forcing do you using cloud GPU(s) or you have made any cluster of powerful computing systems ?
Yes ,in theory cracking could be used for nefarious purposes, however I wouldn't accept work like that.
my current main worker is a beast it's great for development in ai and (some)cracking.
I do have clusters. But a bit dated at the moment. Soon GPU prices will keep sliding and I'll be able to retrofit that.

I used to work in a project called 1SPLiTKEY ,it was a brute for vanity wallet application that only worked with splitkey generation.
We offered enough compute power to give most users a free vanity wallet up to 7 digits long.
I let the service run a year before taking it down.(cost prohibited,we literally only had like 3 paid jobs on it)

What state are you operating in, what's your license number?

You said your not in US/American but your here marketing a trust you maintain for US witch is illegal as fuck.

Even if you where a legitimate player, your already in some hot water.
