141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you want to Buy with Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2018, 09:26:47 AM
Cost of living for the next couple decades so I am free to work as much or as little as I want, on whatever project interests me, without bothering about contract work to pay the rent.

Dat ticket to Mars tho

Nice. Free work is dream for all people include me.
Regarding the earning, i want to buy something that i want from the earning. House and car are in my list.
142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most attractive concept about Bitcoin? on: January 01, 2018, 09:25:12 AM
For a newbie, the most attractive concept that we can share about bitcoin is that it means earning at the most convenient time. personally i love the fact that i was able to earn some additional income for just a short period of time and with less time consumed for myself. i was able to enjoy various activities thru bitcoin such as trading, investment and savings.

Agree with you. The most attractive thing can convince people specially newbi to join is the profit that we can earn in convenient time. Bitcoin will not force you to do something in your tite time.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WATCHOUT: A common exchange SCAM on: December 31, 2017, 12:45:44 AM
I did notice that withdraw buttons were sometimes disabled so if I am buying a decent amount or trying to arb I will check first to see if the coin is able to withdraw. You would think they put that on the market page at least to notify you but sadly this is not how this industry operates. Gotta do your due diligence and protect yourself though.

Good idea from you that you checked everything before doing it.
Withdraw is the most thing we have to make sure in the exchange before trying to make an trading account. So be aware to every exchanger specially not reputable exchanger.
144  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Day Trading Bitcoin, How To Determine Profit Targets on: December 31, 2017, 12:40:14 AM
Hello,

I am trading BTCUSD and LTCUSD and ETHUSD everyday using technical analysis.

I am using ATR (Average True Range) for me stop loss placement per trade.

What can I use for taking profits or exiting the trade? I would like something more dynamic to market price action and not static profit target such as X times stops loss distance.

Thank you kindly.

Well, as i know such kind of way for taking profit is not available in cryptocurrency trading. If you want that i think you can find it in forex. In crypto trading, put your sell limit order is one of way i know. So thats static or can be dinamic if you move manually.
145  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: predections for bitcoin in 2018? on: December 31, 2017, 12:37:09 AM
do you think bitcoin will rise in the 1st week of january 2018?
what price do you expect bitcoin to reach by the end of the year 2018?
will the fee problem be solved?because people are starting to use ethereum for transactions due to such high fee in bitcoin

Well, first i want to say that bitcoin will still stay on its range in first of 2018. It will not rise.
Second, i am holder of bitcoin but i dont expect very impossible thing like bitcoin can $22000 this end of the year. I want it not going below $13k.
Third, i am not sure if the fee can be solved or not since fork is nothing. Not solving anything.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin now the strongest currency in the world? on: December 29, 2017, 02:15:55 AM
If we talk about the value then bitcoin is the strongest one i believe that.
But about the community, i dont think it is the strongest one.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin business success on: December 29, 2017, 02:13:22 AM
Integrating a business to bitcoin is a both success and innovation in an owners perspective. I have owned a business but still I'm not doing it yet since most of my customers aren't into technology but if someone talks to me if I'd be willing to accept their payment in bitcoin then I would love to do it. This also shows that the business owner is a bitcoin supporter and he wants to spread the good news to other people.

What is you business mate? Why will accept bitcoin as payment in the high volatile of bitcoin?
I think business in bitcoin will have good future but it depend on how we manage it.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: The legalization of bitcoin. on: December 29, 2017, 02:10:42 AM
Every country has their own law and so is the case with Bitcoin . Few countries have legalised it while some are I. Process of how to bring this under purview so that it can be monitored and legalised as well. How does it benefit economy and citizens of the country is also what government takes into consideration .

Yes, the country has the control about their law about this.
So we can not do something that out of the law of every country. Anyway, i support legalized bitcoin but not control it.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it possible to survive on crypto while pursuing MS in the US or Germany? on: December 29, 2017, 02:07:44 AM
I can keep using sites like localbitcoin or paxful right? My concern is what about the bank account? I reckon I can have a bank account while in another country, so once I do encash to my bank account will that create legal problems for me?

You will not create any problem by making bank account in that county.
Before making new bank account in another country, you need so much document to prepare.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA is the best currency to invest right now good future ahead on: December 28, 2017, 03:49:54 AM
Indeed, IOTA has brought remarkable profit for its investors, but nobody can know which coin will the best in the future, there is too much uncertainty.

Correct. I know iota already did its job to give profit for its investor specially for early investor.
Now, if you said iota is the best so i dont think so. There are so many others.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins under $1 to HODL till December 2018. on: December 28, 2017, 03:46:32 AM
There are actually thousands of coin whose price is under $1, price doesn't matter in crypto if there is huge supply of coin than its price will never get too high for example doge. It is quite old coin but still struggling to get over 1 cent.

Same goes for many other coins and tokens which are high in supply but demand for them is really low.

I agree with you. The proble with price under $1 or upper but the problem is the supply.
Choose the low price with low supply will have more chance to double.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: best investment strategies on: December 28, 2017, 03:34:10 AM
Hey..

I know that everyone has different investment strategies such as day trading, hodl, buying icos and so forth...

I am selecting the best icos of every month and then I am investing into 2-3 icos for every month, but I have heard many people complaining abouy buying icos because price tend to get lower when hitting exchange for the first time..

And sometimes I am simply frustrated when hearing shit tons of people saying that buying icos is stupid.. but I guess its not so time consuming as day trading..

what is your strategy??? and what are pros and cons of your strategy??

The peopl who said that buying ico project is stupid because they got scam by ico project.
Not all ico project is good. If you decide to join make sure you did a research beforw that.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Is time too late on: December 28, 2017, 03:17:46 AM
i just check old posts in Currency exchange and Found how bitcoin was so cheap at 2011

Example

this User ask for 32$ only to sell 2BTC

2.00 BTC for sale - $32 USD (MTGOX PRICE is 16.68)

Only trusted members with reputation!

So are you think time now is too late  or some one in future will say how price was cheap in 2017 like my post

Shear what you think Huh

All bitcoiners here in this forum will say it never too late to start anything including bitcoin.
Why? Because the price will grow and grow time by time.
If its late then its better rather than not join.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: do you think bitcoin is controversial ? on: December 28, 2017, 03:14:47 AM
Why would it be controversial? If you mean because of the usages that people are leading to bitcoin, then it is fault of the people who do such those things, not because of bitcoin.
Money has been used for those purposes too, and that is not the fault of those who print the money.
It is a different concept, bitcoin is being used like real money right now, not like digital credits, just like a lot of people thought that they were before.
It is not controversial if you know what are the real reasons of bitcoin, and why it has been created for.

I think many people think bitcoin is controversial because of its high volatile then make people think twice to join bitcoin community and investing their money. I think it is kind of controversial.
155  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think the Xmas and Holiday season, caused the drop in the price? on: December 27, 2017, 11:22:15 AM
So it is the Holiday season and it was Xmas. How many people dived into their Bitcoin hoard to buy Xmas gifts and also paid for a nice holiday with their family?

Yes, this could be the reason why the price is droping so high. Bitcoiner buy a gift for their family and money is from the cash out from their bitcoin

Did you splash out with some expensive gifts and extravagant holidays with your bitcoins, during the holiday season?

Actually i have not enough money recently to spalsh expensive for my family. Just small thing is enough. Its better than nothing.
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HitBTC problem with withdraw (closed) on: December 26, 2017, 01:00:31 AM
Hello!

I want to talk about the problem that was formed with the HitBTC exchange.
12/20/2017 I sent to the stock exchange a certain amount of XEM since only on it there is a trade paired with USDT.
Transaction came quickly, but the exchange has a division into Main Account and Trading Account.
Why the Main Account is created is not clear, since nothing can be done with it, but a Trading Account for trading.

Now when my XEM on the Main Account I can not transfer them to the Trading Account, accordingly I can not trade, I can not buy other coins, because when I transfer to the Trading Account, the message "Currency operations not available" appears.

I did not like it and I decided to send my XEM back, and about a miracle ....
The withdraw also does not work ...
The message «Please note that XEM withdrawals are temporarily unavailable due to technical maintenance. Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience.»

Although nowhere in the news on twitter is written about the technical work in the XEM wallet.

On the way out, we have that I can not return my XEM and I can not trade them ...

Ticket ID # 87054: XEM NEM Wallet

Update: Withdrawal enable today 12/25/2017

It is good to know that you already can withdraw your fund and you keep update to inform here so we know hitbtc is running well. I think the problem is just temporary maintenance.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long awaited Bitcoin correction(+) on: December 26, 2017, 12:55:56 AM
The Bitcoin touched new max, the news about CBOE Futures - is Fact now. There is no new information about Tether huge cap. And loooks like double top on Bitcoin chart is drawing now.
My opinion is that correction will be achieved in the range 8-12 and then big daddys will open new long position with target 25-28 before new year.
What you say?
BTC

I think this end of the year the target to reach $25 till $28 is impossible. Too high. I think it can be reached next year.
Correction now is very close, correction this time will be a bit dip and it makes us time to buy.
158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Ethereum has a big correction. Support levels in the range of 500 and 400! on: December 26, 2017, 12:52:40 AM
I think ethereum went through correction the time with bitcoin a few weeks ago during the time when the price of ethereum crashed from $730 down to $580. And i don't see correction anytime soon for ethereum.

Yes, i dont see big correction near this time. The support can be changed now to higher price and  no more $500.
And now the price is high enough to break the all time high.
159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Exchanges Arbitrage on: December 25, 2017, 03:25:00 AM
BTC is around 13500 on kraken.  BTC is around 14300 on gdax.  If thats the case, can't you just send usd to bitstamp.  Then you buy btc.  Then once you do, you sell it on gdax for 14300?  The thing is when you buy btc on kraken, you get it immediately right?  Then you send the btc to gdax and then sell it.  However, it takes a while for the btc to hit gdax right since i heard btc is taking a while to send?  However if you pay a higher fee wouldn't it get there faster?

Thats good. Just try mate. Put your fee higher to get quicker transaction. Try also to see the other price, more exchang you check more chance you have to gain profit with this strategy.
160  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long awaited Bitcoin correction(+) on: December 25, 2017, 03:22:07 AM
I think that Bitcoin can reach a new all time high maybe in the early spring of 2018 as it will take more confidence and also a new set of capitalization for it to go up again past 20k USD. Many of the big whales and institutions have taken their profits so it will take time to lure new crowds of people in in order to pump the markets very high again and for the BITCOIN marketcap to go up 70% from here. Time will tell but I see Bitcoin going up if it does to a new ATH around March 2018.

Looking in bitcoiners confidence to hold as long as possible, the price can grow up next year.
$20k is very close to reach that goal. Lets see what happen next year.
