141  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 20, 2019, 01:42:51 AM
Here, it seems, they are cleaning the BTC wallets of traders after closing the authorization in exchange (?)

https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3FeGz3AivG9SUEPKcGASh4ZcD9JojUjHSL

Maybe they are being forced to shut down and the NZ government is creating a fund? They couldn't be hacking themselves with that level of scrutiny.

How do you know that's Cryptopia addresses?

It was on Jan 14 so NZ government has nothing to do with it.

Someone in russian topic said https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3ALZ4ALw2T4jebXXUy8GMv2rLB7JpFL1JD is Cryptopia BTC deposit address.

Before the maintenance there were some transfers from this address 10 BTC each to
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/12YBZCaPe45LFbvgYWP5AVm3pvZTtHTiNY so it might be Cryptopia address too.

And on 2019-01-14 all coins from 12YBZCaPe45LFbvgYWP5AVm3pvZTtHTiNY - a huge amount of 389 BTC were moved to
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/3FeGz3AivG9SUEPKcGASh4ZcD9JojUjHSL

And then from 3FeGz3AivG9SUEPKcGASh4ZcD9JojUjHSL it started splitting to smaller amounts to different addresses - looks like mixer or so...

So if 3ALZ4ALw2T4jebXXUy8GMv2rLB7JpFL1JD and 12YBZCaPe45LFbvgYWP5AVm3pvZTtHTiNY are really Cryptopias then it looks very suspicious - what if 3FeGz3AivG9SUEPKcGASh4ZcD9JojUjHSL belongs to the "hacker" and BTC were stolen too?

So this one might be a "hackers" transaction moving BTC off Cryptopia: https://www.blockchain.com/btc/tx/c45c46be414db8f9f354e6e94c5f62ca72ea15c3b298d72443f8d1a4146c66ec

I REALLY hope you're not right.

I confirm that after a deposit my btc are moved to 3ALZ4ALw2T4jebXXUy8GMv2rLB7JpFL1JD

if 389 BTC have been hacked, it's another 1.5 million dollars stolen, still not a catastrophic loss IMO.

chances we have been mtgoxxed (our funds lost for years or forever)  increase every day.

Running an exchange is the job of the future: you make profits on someone else's money, and when you make a mistake, you lose someone else's money.

What was your experiences from previous hacks? I remember having heard of other exchanges being hacked in the past but reopening and I think most if not all exchanges had paid back people.

bitgrail is awaiting court decision after months of hearings, they probably will go bankrupcy and ppl's money will be blocked for years (in italy things are slow) if cryptopia too will go bankrupt, good bye also tu unaffected funds.
143  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 18, 2019, 04:57:19 PM
I just wanted to draw the worst case scenario. I have money there (more than 10$...)

Anyway, I don't think etherscan can block funds.

I just hope we will not see the mtgox/bitgrail scenario. I had 99% BTC so I don't want to be robbed again.

If cryptopia isn't insured and has not enough coverage to repay losses, I am pessimistic.
144  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 18, 2019, 04:25:12 PM
because all our funds will be probably seized and used to pay lawyers.
145  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 18, 2019, 10:25:40 AM

no new info there.
146  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Struggles of Advcash, there is Epayments as a good alternative (mastercard) on: January 18, 2019, 10:09:33 AM
Today i did a card load like many other times, and noted that BTC was valued 100$ less of current market price, I always was surprised of BTC valuation with no discount with market. Did dey start to charge higher fees?
147  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 17, 2019, 02:18:43 PM
Can anyone check if cryptopia still have BTC in hot/cold wallet?

I checked the address I used to deposit, and it's empty. Sadly, empty. Bu I dunno if it's correct to do a similar check.
148  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 15, 2019, 02:57:30 PM
A user named Mark Patterson just offered 211.000 mgo for an over the counter trade in the mobilego telegram community channel. These 211.000 mgo where stolen from cryptopia. Warn your community members if your coin is stolen.

lol mgo was just the coin I traded on Cryptopia. But I had only <100 at the moment, the rest of funds were all btc.

I hope BTC were not stolen and even more I hope police will not seize all the exchange for years. Like Bitrgrail.

what exchanges are currently supported?
152  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 12, 2019, 11:20:18 PM
I've traded withdrawn and deposited that coin for months and worked perfectly. I was even surprised of how perfect and fast withdrawals were.

I don't understand why the've messed up everything now.
153  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: January 11, 2019, 09:50:55 AM
What's going on with this exchange?

I've an EOS witdrawal stuck on processing since 10 days ago (ticked opened and replied, then nothing else)
and I am waiting the reopening of a market paused (MGO) since 29th of december. They paused  the market for a stuck order, don't think it's a problem so difficult to solve!
154  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official Liquid Exchange Thread on: October 12, 2018, 07:23:00 AM
Ok,
after 7 days the problem has been fixed,

thanks
155  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Official Liquid Exchange Thread on: October 11, 2018, 10:09:21 AM
Anyone there?

Do you realize your trade volumes literally collapsed after the name change?

Your withdraval policy is ridiculous. I've requested a withdrawal on friday and we are on Monday, and it has not been processed, yet. And that's not a problem, You simply do not process withdrawals in the weekend,, that's just your policy.

Please offer the opportunity to pay a fee and have a fast withdrawal, or I think i'll leave your exchange, too.

Hi! Delay with withdrawal was because of holidays in Japan. Such situation with withdrawal process is because of SECURITY. All funds are in cold storage and all withrawals are manual. And yes, all withdawals has NO fee. Sometimes it is not very fast but it is SAFE. As you can see a lot of crypto exchane were hacked, but not QUOINE.
We are licensed, pro regulated and safe exchange...

just for the record, my withdrawal is still in process after 6 days. I have sent messages to support and they just reply "the team has been alerted"

I can accept you don't process withdrawals on weekends, but the following monday they HAVE to be processed!

157  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Allcoin.com is ridiculous on: September 05, 2018, 03:58:21 PM
On exchanges like allcoin, rightbtc, fatbtc and I think also coinbene, you can literally set a buy order that will impose a limit to the market, limit that was many times surpassed just before yor order, and then never touched again.

for example if market price is 0.08, on this exchange price reaches even 0.03, you say wowowo i can do massive arbitrage here, you try to take that order of buy at 0.05, and it just disappeares right after your order, this happens only on allcoin, on the other exchanges I named the orders are simply too fast to catch.

If you set a buy order at 0.05 you'll never see that price again, right before the price stayed often lower. It's almoust funny see how the chart looks like having crashed into a wall.

if this is not scam, tell me what is scam.
158  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Allcoin.com is ridiculous on: September 03, 2018, 05:28:28 PM
oh It's simple, I am interested in arbitraging and if this exchange was serious it could be a good opportunity.
159  Economy / Exchanges / Allcoin.com is ridiculous on: September 03, 2018, 04:07:41 PM
In this exchange you can have om the order book very convenient prices, usually on the bch btc pair....

they stay there also for 10 minutes,

as soon as you try to buy, that order disappeares. This goes farther than the bot trading of other exchanges. This is a joke, is ridiculous.
160  Economy / Exchanges / Re: HitBTC.com - The most advanced cryptocurrency exchange on: August 24, 2018, 08:26:56 AM
Can't anyone explain the randomization of withdrawal times? From a few minutes to several hours?
