141  Economy / Gambling / Re: LamboForBitcoin.com - Win A Lamborghini Huracan With The Ultimate BTC Draw on: April 27, 2019, 04:43:31 PM
Maybe they are selling a second hand? Do we know if he is selling a brand new one ? I mean it still doesn't make any sense and I still think there is a big chance that this is a scam but if we are going to do a math calculation of weather they are telling the truth or not the calculations should include a second hand one as well.

I think if they were legit (which I doubt they are but giving them benefit of the doubt) they could be selling either a second hand one that has a big mileage in it and costs less or they could just hope that the affiliates won't be for all tickets and they can make like 420k+ with this and than use that to buy the cheapest available option out there (even with tax that is gonna make them pay) so I really don't know but mathematically there could be a small tiny chance.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for some trusted gambling site. on: April 27, 2019, 09:02:04 AM
I think decentralized ones are coming up now and those guys are doing something right with it, since a website that is decentralized can't be manipulated neither which means they remove that trust collision all at once, you do not have to trust them but since its decentralized there is no need for trust so that is a positive.

I am not saying all decentralized casinos are good and I am sure some of them could be not good enough to rival the others but they just have a feature that automatically puts them above many of the casinos. Of course, places like stake still holds their own because they have been in this far longer than their competition and they have been working without a complaint for years now which makes them far superior than any of the other options we can provide.
Yes, I feel like trust is something to be questioned as well, do you really need to trust a website ?

If you want to remove the trust from the equation then you can definitely go with the dapps that are gambling and decentralized which would make you not need to trust any website at all, since its decentralized you don't need to trust them since they are not operating or controlling the casino at all.

Moreover, if you want someone to hold the casino and want to trust them because then you will get to see years of experience then you can definitely go with places like stake because those guys are not decentralized but trusted more than the decentralized places combined. I feel like stake has achieved what no other casino can achieve for so long that they earned their place (with primedice too of course).
143  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐁🐁MiceRace.com - PoolBetting(New) - Mice info page(New) - Live mice racing🐁🐁 on: April 27, 2019, 06:44:00 AM
If they mean by updated live stream that we will be able to see the mice on their living quarters as well then I am all up for it. Think about how much personality it will bring to the game if they just put some cameras in the living quarters, I don't know if they all live in each individual living spaces or they live together and what not but I would bet money on the fact that just watching them would be enough to really enjoy the experience as well.

I know we do not watch the horses on their living quarters but a fast horse is a fast horse and I do not need to know how he lives however mice could be the fastest but can sometimes stumble and not win, even the biggest winner in this site has a losing record in total so it would create so much enjoyment to watch what they are doing in between to see if they are doing fine or not as well. It would make this place x10 times better.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto SCAM - HowTo protect yourself on: April 26, 2019, 05:37:51 PM
Thanks OP for the idea and your efforts to care this community Smiley.

The best way to protect yourself from scam project is to do a thorough research about the project in question before thinking of investing your money or time into the platform, one of the way you can make a good research to know whether it's a scam or not is to check the ANN thread of the coin to see the opinion of others who are part of the project, just check out what others are saying about the project, is the review good or bad.

Edit:
It would be too good, if the open-post is getting updated time to time to spread awareness on latest vulnerable attacks and hacker's new tricks. But, unfortunately open-post's last update was done on early November of 2018 but OP is active here.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum blockchain will forever supersede Binance blockchain on: April 26, 2019, 07:19:52 AM
I will not vouch for any coin like OP is doing here, I might even vouch for my own coin this way if I own one, because one thing you should know is that this is the crypto space, which is a free market, and a free market has a lot of competitors within it, it is possible for you to build something very good, but it's also possible for someone to take what you have built and and some more features to it or even create a better feel and comfort for end-users of the platform and you will begin to see that your investors starts to take their attention off you to that project. Because, this is a free world and free markets. To stay competitive, upgrading is must always.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MTH or DNT which coin is better to invest now ? on: April 25, 2019, 06:02:38 PM
As I always say and will always keep saying, don't judge the future price of a coin based on the current price but base on the value that project have to offer to the community, because what would determine a constant increase in price, is a constant demand of the coin, and a coin that don't have so much to offer to the crypto community will not really have an high demand since no one or less people are making use of the coin, what I mean is that you should study the whitepaper of the project before investing your money.

Out of 1000s of coins, what pushes to choose and invest with these two coins ? I am afraid there could be nothing as this is the first time I am hearing these two coins even I am a frequent visitor of various altcoin boards.

On first sight, I guess it was MTC (which is recommended by Mccafee), but it is MTH, I am sorry I have no time to google and to remember this ticker as I have already started hating new coins as I am really got messed up with lots of similar name/tickers.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: What currency shall human use when colonizing Mars on: April 25, 2019, 05:30:45 AM
I can't really believe anyone would be talking about life on Mars, when you haven't made the Earth you're living in a better place. There are lots of things that has to be done and no one is talking about Mars right now, this one is just a fairy tale because it is not going to happen anytime soon.

Yes, there is every possibility that people will be visiting Mars, but not for them to live there. I just don't believe all those wack stories that people wants to go and live in Mars. No one has that time and money, except maybe rich men that would like to be visiting there by any cost and for them bitcoin or other cryptos will not be a big concern. If Mars will be raised by a government which believes into decentralization then we may expect bitcoin to be a currency there.
148  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is heading back to $6k on: April 25, 2019, 04:44:22 AM
I think you can call it whatever you want either "trend" or "support/resistance" or whatever but in the end we all know bitcoin stops at certain prices when it hits those numbers and than moves between those numbers much quicker.

For example, this was very very clear on 4200 level, its not that clear right now so I am going to give example from those days. People saw that bitcoin couldn't break 4200 a few times and started to trade according to that, they sold at 4200 and they bought lower which made it even harder to break the 4200 levels.

This is happening the same today as well, we try to go up and when we fail we go back down a bit and people sell their coins at high which makes it harder for us to go even higher, if people just hold their coins instead of selling we could break more barriers and get even higher.
149  Economy / Gambling / Re: RichCat - the first Monopoly game in Blockchain on: April 24, 2019, 09:07:26 PM
The design of the website is just horrific, anyone who can do development good enough to create a monopoly game based on blockchain (even though not bitcoin) must have enough understanding of how much the design lack as well, just putting it out there without any designer really fixing this mess must mean that the developer is also the owner of this website and its a one man operation that literally doesn't have too much money that they can spend on this website and that is always the doom of all new websites, if you do not have any money at all and no investors to back you up than you are going to die a quick death in crypto world where all casinos spend thousands of dollars every single day to get more and more customers.

I suggest getting a good designer and finding some money to fix this website's look.
150  Economy / Gambling / Re: CoinsGainer.com - provably fair multiplayer game of chance on: April 24, 2019, 08:37:27 PM
I think you guys should change your graphic instantly, even that bustabit type of graphic that keeps on going up is better because it at least shows how high it is going.

Yours is like at half when its x2.5 and than its only slightly more when its x5 so its graphically not correct at all and what are you going to do if it ever reaches like x100 one day? That is why I think that graphic is not helping you out at all and looks very amateur and not ready at all, you should switch that to something else right away, the problem is not the x2.5 or something because if you make that x5 or not that doesn't matter since this technically has no end going up so there can never be half of something that is endless. I think the style of the graphic should completely change to something else.
151  Economy / Gambling / Re: Poker studying (Hand reviews) on: April 24, 2019, 05:21:23 PM
If you think poker could be learnt from a youtube video than you must have not played poker for too long. Two types of people can undermine the math that goes behind playing poker and those people are either very very knowledgeable about poker and since they know everything and they are amazing at it they think its simple and everyone should understand or people who have no idea about poker and think "how hard it could be"?

If you are one of those people than thinking poker could be learnt from youtube is understandable but poker has a lot of small details in it that you have to really train to learn, it can't be done via reading or watching you have to really just go play and learn and be better at it with each hand. With experience you get to become better because you see what happens and you learn why and how and than you are ready for the next time it happens.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PokerStars fined $10,000 on: April 24, 2019, 04:28:22 PM
It is seriously funny how they are trying to make it look like its a punishment while they fully know that its nothing. Pokerstar probably makes that much money in just couple of minutes so punishing them for it isn't really repelling at all. They will continue doing so forever until they literally take all the money illegally and why would they after all they make more than that to begin with. I feel like if we can continue to increase these punishments like it went from 2 thousand to 10 thousand with the same mindset to 50 than 250 then more we can actually make it somehow dangerous for these websites to let people bet illegal.

I am not against illegal stuff when it comes to sportsbetting since we play that here all the time but when a big corporation doesn't follow the law and than gets punished only $10k it is just not even funny anymore.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is urgent. Argentina is printing free money too on: April 24, 2019, 03:14:29 PM
When will these people understand that printing money is never the solution. This is not about third world country issues, USA literally printed about 800 billion dollars just to save couple of banks from their own greed that would have collapsed the whole economy. How could you think that would solve the issue once and for all ? It didn't and they never really put any regulations so that wouldn't happen again neither, they just told bankers "you saw what happened, you are wise enough to not repeat it" and just let them go.

Many smaller countries do this sort of thing as well but it never really works out for any of them and I really think that crypto since it can't be printed more and more is the only way we can get away from inflation. Anyone that has any money that bought bitcoin is now rich in Argentina and that shows the difference.
154  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 24, 2019, 08:46:33 AM
I think people who wait for gradual adoption is going to wait for a lot, we have to really make it happen very quickly with a method that is so quick it should be instant. For example like a paper money type of bitcoin where the money is literally in it and you can do like a QR code reading or something. Or a mobile app that will help everyone move money around so commonly and connected to all banks in the world via something.

I don't know which coin or which app would do it but when that happens we will get away with soooo much adoption. It is really not that common that people can wait for years and years to get the adoption rate high, eventually they are going to get bored with it, so we need to get it really fast.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What happened with ADA? on: April 24, 2019, 07:24:42 AM
I`ve tryied to find out on their subreddit, but all I understood is that they are late with the roadmap update..
I don't think anyone can tell you the actual thing happening behind the project than the team, so I think what you can do is to message the team to see if they are going to give you a reply, though I believe they should give you one since this is the crypto space and the one thing a company should care about is not the project itself, but the investors of that project, please message them and get back to us on what their reply was for the delay.

I remember ADA was trading around 2200 satoshi by June/July 2018 and then fell down sharply up to 1100 satoshi per one ada. For those steep fall down, I still could not find any valid reason even ada has very active dev team and big community to support them. The only probable reason could be, entire crypto space was falling down hence it also went down.

Similarly right now, bitcoin is on up-surge and to maintain USD value some altcoins are losing their BTC value. This is not the concrete reason you are looking, but must be one of the reason why ADA is falling in recent days.
156  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tips for when Getting Stuck on: April 24, 2019, 05:48:11 AM
I think the clearest choice is to wait if you are stuck, after all if you sell when you are down and it goes up you are going to be really upset and it has happened to many people many times before.

There are thousands of people out there who bought high and then sold low and the price went back up, even if it didn't back up as much as they bought at least it went up from the point they sold, so say you bought bitcoin at 20 thousand and it dropped to 3 and you sold at 4 because you are done with it, now its over 5, you are still not in profit because you bought at 20 but at least its above 4 so you could have made less loss. That is why I think as long as you do not need money for something urgent you should totally hold it as long as possible to see how high it can go.
157  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Newbies that has interest in trading! on: April 23, 2019, 08:36:05 PM
Even if you can't trade on demo places (which you can find places to do that) I suggest trying to do pen and paper approach to it or even have places that specifically just allows you to buy and sell whenever you want with fake money to see how you would do. That way you can gain experience while you trade and see if your understanding of trading is enough to start actually trading or not.

Unfortunately, too many newbies trade not just according to charts and all (they do that too of course) but sometimes they trade on gut feeling and move quickly to not miss out and that not missing out really hurts all of their economy because most of the time they do miss out. Something that went up a lot makes them feel they should buy it but when something goes up that much they drop back down most of the time.
158  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin in 2019 on: April 23, 2019, 07:44:32 PM
I can't believe how ignorant some people where before 2019 and look where we are right now. History is a fickle thing and looking back we can rewrite it however we want and say that we all knew bitcoin would go up and were right all along.

It is not like that of course, most of us who said bitcoin was cheap was not 100% sure but we just believed it had to go up since it went down enough and couldn't go lower even while trying to go lower so it was the most realistic approach that since it can't go down it should be going up and it did really happened but we do not have fortunetelling skills so it was just a calculated guess overall.

The people who kept on being pessimistic and kept on writing its going down for months before the increase began just wanted it to go down because that was the most profitable for them I suppose.
159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will hit $1 million in 2020 because of mathematics: John McAfee on: April 23, 2019, 06:07:55 PM
Who would believe John Mcafee to begin with. Dude managed to make a great company once and sold it and he is lucky to have that but this is the dude that said he would eat is own penis if bitcoin didn't reach there, anyone that would make any claim on bitcoin like that should not be really listened at all. And it turned out he took money from ICO people to promote their coins and ICO people would profit more from the increase than the payment they made so he is definitely a shady person from all we know about him so far. That is why his "mathematics" is seriously just supportive of what he supports and that is it, I can create a chart that shows bitcoin going to zero and a million all possible if you look at it from the right perspective and he just uses his own favorite ones.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: What can people expect from BTC in 2019? What influences prices? on: April 23, 2019, 05:30:48 PM
I think the biggest influences is the price movements itself, people do really get excited or pessimistic about the price movements.

Unless there is this big whale that does a big huge move then the small movements react to each other. If bitcoin hits to 6000+ then we can see it as a big bull movement but if it reaches all the way to 6400+ it became like breaking the major resistance, even if we fail this time I am sure next time around we can go even higher. For example if it was $5800 it wouldn't make any change for us in mindset because we know $5800 is not really anything special but 5900+ makes it so much different all of a sudden (as it is another resistance levels below $6k).

Knowing those little differences makes all the change in the market.
