1101  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin reach $25000 by the end of the year? on: August 22, 2018, 08:27:10 AM
Do you think but coin will reach $25000 mark this year and go beyond that or will it be one more typical temporary pump followed by the dump? Need your opinion guy what would be the value of bitcoin by the end of this bull run.
Honestly we can never know what bitcoin can do however it kinda depends on what happens. If couple ETF gets approved, if starbucks accepts bitcoin, facebook buys coinbase and all that happens together, bitcoin can reach $50k easily let alone $25k.

However if starbucks doesn't care about bitcoin, facebook doesn't buy coinbase, and no ETF gets approved, than there is really no way of bitcoin going up because there is no reason to go up in this market. Whales also try to sell  as much as they can afford and get it cheaper to keep the prices low because short futures are making a bank for them. Knowing all of this, I say just keep your fingers on f5 on some crypto news websites twitter page so you can be one of the first to learn any good news.
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you still continue? on: August 21, 2018, 03:25:00 PM
In my own term I'd be stopping already at the amount of 30-40% in my budget, It's stupid to risk all your money in a day, I know that luck does not strongly base on what your games would be, but rather than to know if you are actually playing the game right or you are just playing the game to win money without even using your common sense, learn how to restrain yourself, or else you'd be using your feet all the way onto your home.
Similarly I stop when I reach to my daily limit and I have got so good at having fun with smaller amounts that I do not even reach my daily limit anymore, I just bankroll like 5 dollars at most and than stop because I already have couple hours max to gamble and if I bet like with 10 cents or less (which is still something in bitcoin gambling) than reaching to 5 bucks everyday takes a lot of time (unless you hit some horrible losses streak) and during that time I already had enough fun that I usually just stop, hey I even made profit some days instead of losing which I put on top next day Smiley.

Even my inner thoughts are insisting about continuation of my gambling, the lessons I have learned will not allow me to do so. If I have not make use of my previous experiences with gambling, then I could not survive in this gambling field as how I am today.
1103  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Single Bet Roulette Strategy on: August 21, 2018, 12:28:41 PM
You can have the best strategy in the whole world. You can create a place where losing is a slim chance and rare. However whatever you do, in the end because of the house edge the house always wins. Learn this before you get in the gambling business, never assume you will win, never expect profit, never imagine a lambo on your door thanks to gambling. If you do, you will get upset when the house edge caught up with you. On martingale for example, I have seen 17 losses in a row, 17 IN A ROW. It happens, rare but it happens. Hence no matter how many strategy you have, losses will catch up with you.
1104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How long can ethereum be bearish? on: August 21, 2018, 07:51:12 AM
Ethereum has been making some loses for quite some time now and I wonder if this loses are going to continue.  Before this time ethereum is always carry along when bitcoin is bearish or bullish but now that is no longer the case.  Today I see bitcoin making some  gains and ethereum is falling.  How long can this continue.
It won't be any different than any other coin. The longer bear continues on other altcoins, the longer it will be for ethereum too. I do not understand why people think ethereum is so different than all other coins when ethereum is just another altcoin at this point. Even tho you can buy ethereum directly with fiat, there is still a ton of people who buy bitcoin first and than convert it to ethereum if they want to. Which means ethereum is not a coin thats main itself, its still a side coin to bitcoin. This results with ethereum going up and down just like rest of the altcoins.

The exchange rate of ETH depends on two factors mainly. The first one is the momentum in the ICO market. And the second factor is the movement in Bitcoin exchange rates. Unfortunately, both these parameters are in red right now.
I must agree the ICO industry is heavily infected with lots of scammers and lazy people. Only very few campaign managers are active and taking post count on time and only one or two campaigns are paying on time and sufficient reward for our time and efforts. All others are asking for KYC or delaying for no-reasons. If ICOs behaves like this, no one could save ethereum market and bounties of this campaign as well.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advantages of altcoins ? on: August 21, 2018, 05:14:15 AM
Alt coins and tokens have their own structure.
For example one token will focus on exchange services and the other one will focus on other industry.
But bitcoin is the king and controls all prices by himself.
Compared to bitcoin, altcoins are having less advantage in my opinion too. But some people are claiming that they are making huge profits than what they are saving in bitcoins. but no one share how they identify that particular coin. Altcoins are having advantages but not in the same level of what we can enjoy from bitcoins.

At least, so far, even if it is for short or long term profit, it is still an impact. I know over time a lot of things will be changing for the better and that implies more to altcoins with very good and usable product and not just those with empty promises. So far, the altcoin space is purely speculative, or will I say the crypto space in all, and this makes it more like a pump and dump environment, so for now, I would say profit is the only advantage, but as time goes on when we start seeing real life usage, then we can start talking about the other usable advantages.
1106  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: August 20, 2018, 11:06:57 AM
Well, talk about garbage everywhere refers to that commonly used waste materials that is thrown away. And we should properly disposed of garbage. We should dispose it properly. In bitcoin we should use it wisely to protect the entire economy from financial collapse. But if someone can see the opportunity from those garbage, meybe they can take more benefits from it.
What I have seen here is people say this garbage to bitcoin when it is in down state. People don’t understand the opportunity window created in hard times of bitcoin. There are two ways to handle this downstream era. One, get sad and panic and lost everything. Second, don’t be sad, believe in your coins and start buying more and more bitcoin. The later one would save your financial life.
Basically I just want to ask, wasn't it expected anyway? Stock market also has something called "penny market" which is the small companies that are listed differently than the bigger companies. Maybe that is what we need from crypto market ?

We can have the 1billion+ coins listed differently and than we can have 200 million - 1 billion range coins listed differently and than less than 200 million coins listed differently and if its listed at less than 1 million in marketcap we can list it carefully like dark or something so people would know its an almost dead coin so they do not invest without knowing how slow and dead it is.
1107  Economy / Economics / Re: Almost 80% of US workers live from paycheck to paycheck. Here's why on: August 20, 2018, 09:16:05 AM
I agree with people above me. I did earned couple hundreds dollars per month before (live in a third world country) and that was alright with me and I lived from pay check to pay check.

However I have also made tens of thousands of dollars as well some months (selling stuff online) and I also lived paycheck to paycheck back than. There are a lot of people like me who spend what they have, if its 100 dollars we spend 100 dollars, if its 10 thousand dollars we spend 10 thousand dollars. The bad part is in the end you do not put any money aside for bad days.

Good part though is having memories you otherwise could never have.
1108  Economy / Economics / Re: Be greedy when others are fearful... on: August 20, 2018, 08:06:16 AM
We forget to say that Buffet has such a capital behind it that it can afford to do any experiment, lose tens of millions of dollars, and leave with indifference.
Who puts everything at stake, it's better to use smarter techniques.

that is right, Buffet can make anything with his capital especially when people are too afraid to invest in one program and Buffet will try to spend his money to see his chance to make a profit. but for us which doesn't have much capital, I think we need to think more about investing and we need, to spend some amount of money and not use big money. we don't spend big money when other people are afraid because we don't want to make a big risk for our cash.
It really depends and moreover, the period of accumulation some times to me is when everyone is just simply not sure where the market is going and at that stage, it is always so easy for the whales to keep loading up and until they do that, before we get to see the market move up. Accumulation to me sometimes is detectable when we keep seeing some bullish divergence, and that makes it so easy to know that the boss has loaded up for another possible trend change.

For now though I am not sure accumulation is over as there is still more room to go down. Temporarily, we may be seeing some though, based on how the market has been acting, and that is also based on the time period on the chart we are dealing with as well. For the mean time though, there is a possibility of a short term accumulation which could result to a change in trend soon, but with the volume, I am not so convinced yet.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't be discouraged! Keep holding. on: August 20, 2018, 04:38:15 AM
I bought bitcoin when it was around $14,500 in January and I am still holding because I am not discouraged.  I have great hope that bitcoin is going to increase in price and volume in some years to come.

You have better faith than I do, already cut loss because my analyze show that this situation will continue until end of the year. I see crypto is like gold, they have similar pattern and if they have the same moving and I keep hold my asset, stuck in long term period will be mine. I hope my step is right and I don't regret it, just keep trying and see you next time.
For now markets are on the rise, but the value is not showing the strength that I would have loved to see. Breaking the $6800 resistance though would be a good one to look forward to which for now is not something I see the possibility of since it is behaving as a very strong resistance. Until I see a formation of a higher high and higher low before one can simply say the market is set for an upward movement, at least a temporary one since we are still in a downtrend anyway.

Moreover, we go from here though, time will tell and the best thing is to just try to see how the market is going to end up developing rather than trying to rush in so fast. Experience thought me that anyway as a trader. The thing with the market is that there is a lot of uncertainty, and it is best to keep that at the back of one's mind if trading this market at this point since it is a lot of risk.

1110  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your rules for profit taking on: August 19, 2018, 03:27:12 PM
When do you withdraw funds? Do you sell into fiat or USDT? Im thinking something like this: After a 50% increase sell 20% into USDT, repeat. Reinvest in dips. When 100% increased sell 20% into fiat
Be quick, be really quick. If you are looking for x100 profit for your investment, you are going to be incredibly sad. Will that never happen? No it sometimes happens. Will it happen to you again ? Probably not. Just take your profit and leave. Get in and get out quickly, like 5% or so is good rule of thumb. Just put your sell order on 5% profit and wait it out.

When you sell it, than wait for it to drop back and do it again. Do not wait for a coin to skyrocket and get pumped 700% before you sell, that sometimes happens but most likely won't happen. It is about small incremental profits rather than big huge gains over time.
1111  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can you share your trading experiences? on: August 19, 2018, 05:09:38 AM
Well I have been trying to trade myself for a long time but I failed to get a good grip of day trading because I do not understand from charts. Last year I have purchased a trading bot and he helped me setup something and that software checks out tons of coins you put in it and checks the charts and react according to what you put it in, there are default strategies and I selected one of them.

It made tons of profits on December and now its basically spending what it made into dropping the averages, it works really well for that but when the market is bear there is no way it makes money, it only drops the purchase averages of coins which kinda helps considering I just need one good bull run for making a good profit again.
1112  Economy / Speculation / Re: When do goldbugs give up? on: August 19, 2018, 03:16:36 AM
At what point will some traditional goldbugs publicly accept that they should have at least, diversified some of their gold into Bitcoin? I have added a poll with 5 options, the most conservative one is when BTC reaches 1 $trillion, because I don't expect any of them to admit they were wrong any time sooner than that.
Those orthodox investors will never accept and adopt new technologies, I am afraid. Moreover, bitcoin's marketcap is the criteria only for the people who are following bitcoin in the consideration of investing/adopting it whereas for the people who are still believe into the multi fold futures of gold, only enlighten them with long hours of explanation about the futures of bitcoin and how it is going to replace paypal/dollars/gold with their own specialized reasons, may enable them to think over to switch/add bitcoin to their portfolio.

By January 2017, bitcoin prices beat gold prices of one ounce similarly we may expect bitcoin marketcap will beat gold's in coming years as without Warren Buffet kind of old veteran's support also bitcoin is growing with rapid pace. Probably if Warren Buffet and other stock market giants and institutions will get convinced about the futures of bitcoin then those 'goldbugs' may change their minds.
1113  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin back to $7000 today? on: August 18, 2018, 04:38:35 PM
We can't know if bitcoin will be $7k once again "today" or anytime but I am sure it will reach that soon enough, I am becoming more bullish on bitcoin prices because I have seen and talked with people that lost a lot of money during the December and afterwards drop and they realize what they did was a mistake and they are trying to recover that with getting at cheaper this time and that will cause bitcoin to go up from now on.

Maybe it will not be enough, maybe whales will fight for lower prices because short futures are making them tons of money and they gather bitcoin when its low and when it tries to get higher they sell what they gathered and with wave affect the price goes even further down with panic and they collect low again.
1114  Economy / Economics / Re: Is buying bitcoins the same as buying stocks in stock market? on: August 18, 2018, 03:21:09 PM
I'm just curious, are they just the same?

I think its not the same. When we buying bitcoin, we believe on proven network and we believe bitcoin is store of value like gold. But to make profits, its like we keeping our stocks because we hold it for long term
It is similar to buying commodity not stocks. Stocks are tied to a company and usually changes according to how a business does. If you own apple stock than you are stick with how apple is doing and apple has been doing great so you make money, or you select a bad company and you lose money on that stock. Bitcoin is more like gold or silver. In the similar way there is limited supply of bitcoin and gold, it is compared on price against dollar, the less valued dollar becomes the higher valued bitcoin/gold gets. So, if you want to compare bitcoin to anything you do not need to use stocks because it is tied to a business, you need to compare it to a commodity like water/gold/silver/oil or whatever.
1115  Economy / Economics / Re: Global financial crisis on: August 18, 2018, 07:49:15 AM
Banks are still feeling too safe for what they're doing, their mistakes will sooner or later bring on a decline.
Also considering austrian cycle theory, i'd say we're in the boom. Soon gold and solid cryptos might be the go-to when it comes to keeping your money safe.

How long do you guys think we have until we face the next crisis?
Probably all people are converting their dollars into whatever their fiat currency doesn't really change much in the bigger picture of all this. In the end you will need dollars to buy a product USA provides. You will need to get dollar and if you sell all of yours in the end it will be harder to find more. You may get debited in dollars, you will need to find dollars to pay it.

It requires certain amount to stored in your national banks and so forth so if government has debts in dollar. Long story short everyone needs dollars because everyone gets paid in dollars. This requires you to keep dollars at all times which makes american economy stronger.
1116  Economy / Speculation / Re: What happened to this 'easy 10k'? on: August 17, 2018, 01:39:25 PM
Just wondering guys, you were all so confident we were in a strong bull market and would break 10k easily, looks like the opposite is becoming a reality and we're heading straight back to new lows.
I believe its still there. Do you really not believe the bitcoin price will be $10k? I think we all know that bitcoin will be $10k , maybe tomorrow maybe in 2019 march, maybe 2020, who knows yet we know it WILL happen, just not when. So why not invest now?

Well because maybe it will go down further, maybe it will stay here longer, why invest now when its not moving and just wait until it looks like it will be ready for investing. You can also invest now too and just wait this bear market out and in the end honestly would you be surprised if bitcoin was $8k in 2 weeks ? I wouldn't be, that is over 20%+ in price increase. That is more than any bank will ever offer.
1117  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you use cryptocurrencies in your daily life? Are they useful? on: August 17, 2018, 09:23:49 AM
I don’t really know where that questionnaire is heading to and what they really expect people to say about it. Are they talking about it based on whether we’re using it in buying and selling or just for transactions ?I make use of bitcoin almost every week for making transactions , but as for buying and selling maybe from stores… Nope I don’t do that. I only just do business with it and once I get the Bitcoin in my wallet, I either store it or withdraw immediately to my bank account.

Over time, I know we will gradually start seeing how people will tend to start adopting the space to this level, but it is obvious for now the skepticism we are seeing in this, and virtually majority of those doing this are making use of services like bitpay and co to be able to convert to fiat so as to be able to not be a victim of the market volatility. As we keep seeing real life usage the more though, I see things evolving as well in this category.
1118  Economy / Economics / Re: hackers becoming smarter than exchanges? on: August 17, 2018, 08:22:25 AM
In my opinion, exchanges should always move in an unpredictable way so as to always confuse these scammers .The scammers are scaring new investors away and this must stop.Exchanges must be up and doing so that we can attract new investors into cryptocurrency else our efforts are going in vain to attracting new investors.
We all already knows that nothing online is very safe these days. So since you already know that,  it would be best if you can move your coins from exchanges to your main wallet which is more secured. As for exchanges you should only leave the coins you want to trade with on exchanges while the rest stays in your wallet. Although there are safe wallets out there, I still wouldn’t advise anyone to keep their coins in exchanges.

When hackers are also human being they cannot go smarter than us, lol. I mean safety measurements are being innovated day by day to get rid off those smart hackers but some of us are very lenient in covering all the checks of protecting our assets and accounts that is the reason why sometimes hacker go smarter than us.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Really! Where is the fun at? on: August 16, 2018, 04:14:18 PM
It is in the little things. It is the thrill of winning, it is the community you get to know, it is the all hours you pour into, it is all the memories you are left with even years after that single bet that you wagered. After years of gambling I know that you may lose your money, you may lose a lot of money in the end, however when you take a look back you actually spent that money on a quality of time wasting and not "trying to win".

I have been with this mind set for years now and I have been talking with chat (if there is chat on the gambling website) I have been gambling different games even the ones I don't enjoy. I just try to spend a quality time. Some people play fortnight, I play poker.
1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beginner's Luck on: August 16, 2018, 02:15:15 PM
I observed there is no such thing as beginners luck. I think when you are gambling and you do not know how to gamble well you just go with the flow and do whatever you want, when you lose you just lose and no one bats an eye because everyone loses anyway.

However, when as a beginner you win than it makes a great story so you tell everyone and everyone that hears calls it beginners luck and ignore all the millions of people losing when they first started. We just hear that 1% that won when they first started. After a while you keep gambling and eventually lose like everyone else, hence think that when you started as a beginner you had beginners luck. That is all there is to it, nothing else.
