621  Economy / Speculation / Re: How/Why to Buy Bitcoin in 2019 on: December 19, 2018, 06:13:12 AM
I will not just make it simple, I will not be buying bitcoins anymore in 2019 because I have been accumulating this year.
2018 is a year for major correction and we have seen it happening, but 2019 is gonna be a road to recovery, bull run will come and new ATH will cause FOMO.
What about if you find some more affordable money and bitcoin will be about to make a new AATH in 2019 ? I like to suggest you to keep buying in 2019 even had collected more in 2018. Keep buying bitcoin must be good idea to ensure multiplying your excess money in most assured way. I am expecting bitcoin to have at least $20k levels in 2019. Simply, 2019 will be a replica of 2017.

Depend my analysis bitcoin will go up at middle of 2019 but the price can't high like 2017. This is become problems because many investor at 2019 still wait and see not take action to buy or recovery asset. Even still dark bitcoin have hope to rise again, trust me.
Many people are calling the current rally from $3200 levels as a bull trap but I am seeing it as the beginning of next wave. If my prediction is true then we do not need to wait till mid of 2019. We may need to start investing from January 2019 itself. Bottom already had hit and it is time to start making use of these cheaper levels.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: As Tether flails, cryptocurrency exchanges launch rival stablecoins on: December 18, 2018, 02:59:37 PM
It really makes no difference which stable coin they create, after all they are all worthless.

The exchanges that create their own stablecoins have only one thing in their mind, when they publish it and sell it to customers they will get money in return, not like they will use or spend that money but having billions of dollars in your bank account is a powerful thing to have. You can even put it in a bank and show it as collateral when you are drawing a good line of credit to get your business bigger so you can make more money later on.

Finally we may conclude, tether is failing right now but all these new Gemini coins and circle tokens and all of that are the same as tether and nothing else, there is no need for a stablecoin in the market if they could just give us the option to use real dollar instead.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that market is oversold and bounceback soon? on: December 18, 2018, 07:31:21 AM
First of all, I don't think this logic is correct. Not all oversold will lead to a rebound. This is related to market trends. If the cryptocurrency market bull market, then this is the truth. But if the cryptocurrency is a bear market, this may make you lose a lot.
If you have observed in the past, how a market usually react after a heavy dump then probably you will agree that a bounce back will happen in near future. That is the right, a price rise is always related to market trend but when prices are lower, more people will come into buying that is the only reason we are all expecting for a bounce back right now. All of the cryptocurrency markets are into oversold zone so bouncing back may happen at any time, be preferred.

sales in the market are very much hitting prices, but perhaps this is how you can see the development of certain coins without much analysis.
It may help to find out the right dev teams among many reputed coins too. But, this alone will not be a criteria for your future of a coin as it is always dangerous if you go for investing a one coin without proper analysis. Because only due to the reason of lower price availability, investing in a crypto coin may lead to big losses.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The bull is here on: December 18, 2018, 05:55:43 AM
This is precisely the abominations will fall back deeper and certainly become worse for investors already expect the increase and hope this is a big recovery. of course, if this is the fall of the market again will many who start going to lose confidence.
I pray to God that you must turn wrong. Because, all the bull run must have started like how market is reacting today and yesterday. At the same time a bull trap also is happening very similar to you are mentioning. Anything may happen at this moment just watching the prices of few altcoins which are really temping to invest into them but being cautious preventing me to diversifying my portfolio beyond bitcoins.

Don't get carried away by this green numbers. A week ago, Bitcoin and other cryptos declined to same prices and everyone was like, cryptos are going to zero, now few green and bull!? Hard to understand human brain.
Not a big science. If greens are in markets then it is a clear sign of bull in action. But, who told you that cryptos are falling to zero ? That is never going to happen. Ups and downs are happening and that is the real thing of any markets but complete wipe out will never happen unless otherwise there will be any big bug to be found on crypto space.
625  Economy / Economics / Re: Bulls are Retarded on: December 18, 2018, 04:57:34 AM
There is also nothing to be shamed about being optimistic. I know price looks bad and none of us knows what will happen in crypto world nor in real world however being optimistic is still a great thing to have. What should people think  ?

"We are all going to die anyway and we can't afford to wait until bitcoin goes up, lets sell it and just spend it before we die" or something ? That is not how economy works, you need to invest and hope for the best and even if you can't reach to a point where it makes you rich, just hope that it will make your kids rich one day.

The saying goes "A society grows great when old men plant trees whose shade they know they shall never sit in", if you can just try to make crypto a bit better instead of shaming the bulls, we might have a chance to have alternative economy parallel to the current one and give our kids a better world for the future.
626  Economy / Economics / Re: On stablecoins on: December 17, 2018, 09:37:16 AM
Main use of these coins is not having a dollar on an exchange while still having a symbol of it.

Now, if you want to open an exchange that allows people to put dollar (or any fiat) into it and buy bitcoin with it or even withdraw dollar from the exchange you need to have an agreement with a bank and you need to do a lot more securities work for it and get accepted and basically deal with the law a lot more, that is a lot of work to do and causes a lot of troubles for exchanges. Whereas if you just use usdt or whatever stablecoin you want you are not going to have these type of problems, you just put USDT on your exchange and people will basically hold their coins at fiat without making the exchange deal with a bank.

Moreover, the missing point here is that people pay bitcoin or dollars to get those USDT deal and the owners of the Tether organization basically gets free money, yeah maybe they can't touch that money because that would make it a ponzi scheme but putting that money into investments would work as well.

Basically we are making them rich for free Shocked.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: Buy high sell low! PRICE BTC 3800 eur. How? on: December 17, 2018, 08:40:34 AM
There are few possible options from what I think.

1. Correction.
As we see on the stock market the prices of the stocks are in a correction phase, just the same as crypto's.

2. Where in the next cycle.
[im g]https://i.pinimg.com/originals/e0/0b/48/e00b481338fafd70fff9b3d24a792266.png[/img]

3. Manipulation.
There are bigger entities than we know that manipulate the crypto, but does that also mean they manipulate the stocks?

Take these assumption with a grain of salt. My plan is to buy more crypto's while they are on sale because I believe in option 2, and we are ATM at the anger stage. It would take at least a few months to see a bull-run if not years. Good luck with shorting the market my friends.
I really hope this is the bottom. We can't really afford to lose any more blood at this point.

The market is on a very risky place already, it already lost so much people while the price was dropping and I am afraid if it goes under 3 thousand the only people who are left will be the fundamentally supportive people like me but we are not a lot of people and we can't really depend on our support to keep bitcoin alive forever.

If the price stays here and goes up we will still be alright but if it goes even lower like two thousand dollars or so than it will take longer to recover. Just from 2 thousand to 3 thousand it would be a fifty percent increase and that is big already, from 2 thousand to 20 thousand its ten times the increase compared to 7 times the increase on 3 thousand. There is a lot of troubles that come with 2 thousand so I hope that we won't see those levels.
628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't love any Alt coins. on: December 17, 2018, 05:48:16 AM
Actually people's learn from mistake. Those mistake I did began, I am realizing now. That's why I want to share it. Perhaps everyone will not agree with me. Every traders have few favorite coins. It's normal fact, but don't love too much any coin it's my logic.
When the future of any coin is unpredictable then why we must take them personally. Yes, we must have any coin in our portfolio for making profits and not due to having some personal intention toward that coin like it will fetch you millions in the future. Because, only when your expectations are big, you may start loving that coin. Just have them for the reason of diversification otherwise just stick within bitcoins but you may love bitcoins always.

If we continue to hold our coins while the price has jumped significantly, then we can lose momentum. If the meaning of 'love' is to keep coins, no matter what happens, then I'm not the type of person like that.
Yes he used the term 'love' to denote, investing heavily into coin and holding that infinitely for big targets. Here, it sounds like becoming greedy due to overconfident. It is just another emotion failure. We must stick within our trading plans always otherwise disasters are unavoidable.
629  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What are your key reasons of choosing a particular exchange for trading? on: December 17, 2018, 04:12:01 AM
1. What are your personal the must-haves for an exchange to be of any interest to you?

2. Is low volume and liquidity a big "no go" to you? Or do you approach such exchanges as potential interest for market making or arbitrage (small exchanges are responding to volatility slower and this may give some good arbitrage opportunities), etc.

ps: we are launching a new crypto-to-FIAT exchange (starting with /EUR pairs) and would love to get tips from the crypto community on their needs in order to built durable exchange.
The ease of usability and the lack of KYC. If I have to give you my information to do anything on your website I will not be involved with it, I don't care if thats the law, you have to follow the law where you are based on, I don't have to follow your laws since I am not living there. Hence I try to select the highest number that I can trade without giving any information at all.

Binance is great on that front, I can trade as much as I want and still not give any info at all, their limit is way above what I have in bitcoin. Also the amount of coins are important too with volume of course, there are many places like cryptopia that has many coins but they lack volume so it makes no sense, however binance has a lot of coins and all of them have healthy volumes too.
630  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Funny Movie About Crypto Traders on: December 17, 2018, 03:30:04 AM
The social advertising consists of episodes which are unrelated to each other. Judging by the videos,
the boy and the girl are not yet married. They live in a lovely cozy home. But life with a trader has its nuances.

And although everything is told in a light, humorous way – in real life,
many crypto-traders and their girlfriends or wives can’t face it.
-snip-
This is one of the ways to take bitcoin and crypto into mainstream as well. Make advertisements for crypto business world and than air it on national tv and that way you can get more professional outlook towards the people. When you do advertisements on illegal movie watching websites like some illegal sportsbetting website, it doesn't look good, I understand it is the best option for getting clicks and it does provide you with great cpc but it also makes it horribly shady looking and loses some reputation for crypto in general.

This type of video advertisements on national television in each country that crypto is big enough would be the greatest way to promote and create awareness for crypto for us. It is not to just get our name heard because everyone already knows us but it is also to shed a good bright light on us to show us legit.
631  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Forex Trading is Profitable? on: December 16, 2018, 08:20:27 AM
Forex is at least a bit more less volatile unless some political major break happens. The difference between crypto trading and forex trading is quite known. When you are trading crypto you check out the signals and charts and indicators and all that jazz and in the end you are just at the hands of some whales.

Everything could look like price is dropping and some major player could buy and price will go up, or it could be just the reverse when everything looks like price is going up but than it will fall. That is exactly what happened in 6.5 thousand dollars, everyone believed price would go up because everything looked amazing but than we are at 3 thousand dollars because of a whale.

Forex doesn't have that, unless some president does something silly the prices are not that much volatile and you just look for good indicators and buy/sell accordingly and you are mostly right.
632  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The key reason for gambling on: December 16, 2018, 06:31:41 AM
It's a mix of both money and fun. I don't know about you, but I just don't get the same rush gambling with tokens that have no value on a free virtual casino game where I have nothing to lose and nothing to gain versus gambling with money that I have saved specifically for gambling where I care whether I win or not. It's just not the same thing. I don't gamble only for the money, but it's not only for fun at the same time either. It's not really one or the other for me.
When you are unable to catch same level of excitement with tokens on a free virtual casino, I guess you are gambling only for money and not for fun at all. Because, I am a gambler I find myself with all the environments the same. Yes, I do forget where I am once I get started with any type of gambling regardless of it is a real casino or a virtual one. On both of gambling casinos, I always want to win to get the maximum benefits but with virtual casino, just a congratulations message is the final result but I do not care that.

Finding all the excitements of gambling regardless of where we are playing is good but most of the time my friends have warned me against getting addiction because the level I do enjoy and want to go for gambling more frequently. Finding fun from gambling is also having its own risks.

The key reason for gambling is seeking fun for me, still how frequently we are playing is more important regardless of the key reason to avoid the gambling problems. I mean to say I cannot be sure about that I am going the right way of gambling even I am not spending big and I'm not expecting "an impossible" from gambling.
633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A cryptocurrency entirely dedicated to GAMBLING? on: December 16, 2018, 05:36:17 AM
Gambling is a thing that the people love to do, whether if it is in the casino or online, but have you ever thought of a crypto that will serve as your main currency whether if it is in the casino or it is on online, I think this could also be beneficial for the gamblers as well, I wanna know about what you think of my idea, whether if it is a positive or negative opinion, I will still take it.
How it will be beneficial to gamblers ? Instead of any benefits, gamblers will get another head ache for converting their bitcoins or fiats into that new for-gambling-only altcoin. You sound just like altcoins are being created for no in-depth purposes and with any light idea too. Why we are having bitcoin ? It may help all human to have only one money. I guess, now you understand a gambling only money will not be wise idea.

An idea came onto my mind, and it consists about a currency that is entirely dedicated onto gambling and also betting, I did not search through the web if there is actually a crypto that has done this.
You must have done that before having this discussion. There were 100s of coins and tokens based on gambling and casino. Edgeless is one quick example here. It is eth based token and their casio is using this token as a base money for all the gambling activities.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Chat Startup Status Lays Off 25% of Staff on: December 16, 2018, 03:06:36 AM
It is not just the price of ethereum going down but also the funding is going down with it as well. These people are getting paid in ethereum so they could fund the project but when the price of ethereum goes from 1500 to 90 or whatever it is right now that means they have lost most of their funding not by spending it but just keeping it there. That is not something many business could afford and its understandable that they can't grow as fast as they hoped which would result with them firing their workers.

I think it is marvelous that they keep 75% of the staff considering they could even close the shop and say they won't continue with the market it is. Even keeping a core amount of staff and just continue doing what they have been doing is still a great deal of success.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will it take for another billion dollar crypto? on: December 16, 2018, 02:31:33 AM
How long will it take for another billion dollar crypto? Markets are crashing but will there be enough pump for a new billion dollar crypto coin?
It would require a great team of coders and developers and designers and many business man to actually achieve a billion dollar crypto currency. You need to have an amazing team behind such a coin to achieve it during a bear market and they need to market it furiously to everyone they can to make that kind of funding possible.

IOTA for example made their coins while there was no pump going on and they achieved said thing, they worth a lot of money right now but that didn't happened overnight thanks to some bull market. You need that type of amazing effort put into something major that has a potential to change everything in our regular life to accomplish something like that. I doubt it will happen anytime soon but I don't doubt it will happen one day, just don't know when it will.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the fundamentals on which it is forcasted that Alt. coins will recover? on: December 15, 2018, 03:56:56 PM
Market is reeling under extreme pains ,prices are going down and down ,but predictors are still predicting that market will rebound and profitability is round the corner .Can anyone suggest what are the fundamentals on the basis of which it is being predicted.
It is basically the "potential" that altcoins have. There is no scenario in the world where altcoins are useless, which means they are needed in the world and they will be used which means the more they are used the more they will be bought, people will buy them to use them later on.

When they buy altcoins the price naturally will go up. Utility is what makes altcoins worth more than what it is today, lets take ethereum for example, even just games part of ethereum means that there will always be buyers who buy ethereum to later on use it on a game, either its etheremon or cryptokitties or whatever game they want, thats just the game part.

Hence, altcoins are fundamentally needed for many things like that and thats why they have high potential to be valuable in the future as well.
637  Economy / Economics / Re: The European Parliament called for speeding up the integration of blockchain on: December 15, 2018, 02:25:20 PM
Blockchain is getting an amazing attention from the world and I am loving it. I know crypto is tied to blockchain but even if only blockchain gets this kind of attention that would only allow the crypto to go higher. People will see blockchain as something innovating and improving the current system, they will love it, they will use it on insurance, on real estate, on identification, on logistics and so forth and in the end when they want to use it on finance as well they will see that it has been around for a decade and more and will start using crypto currencies because of that.

Blockchain love the world has only has one direction and that will only lead to people loving crypto currencies because they love blockchain. Crypto will only get better with time, we just need to be patient.
638  Economy / Economics / Re: The rich poorest country on: December 15, 2018, 12:38:20 PM
I don't doubt communism is to blame but there is also corruption that causes this type of stuff as well. I live in a country with high inflation as well and no matter how much people blame the system for these kinds of stuff don't forget that governments are to blame as well, when every single part of your politics is corrupt and steal from you to make themselves richer while promoting equal rights to you, you will end up with a bad financial crisis in the end.

If you just sell oil all the time constantly without actually doing anything else the import/export will be off balanced in the end. You will need to use the money you profit from oil to buy some other stuff overseas to balance it again. Look at Saudi Arabia, the whole world hates them but they have a lot of oil money that they invest all over the globe and when the oil money runs out they will still be fine because there is a lot of money coming from overseas to them.
639  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative currency ( paper money ) on: December 15, 2018, 11:46:02 AM
If there was an alternative currency (paper money) unregulated by the Government would you use it?
Alternative paper banknotes that is unregulated by the government sounds like just counterfeit money.

I mean I wouldn't say I won't use it but it would need to become very popular. For example, back in my childhood McDonald started a new campaign and they were giving out paper money for their business, it wasn't actually "money" but just coupons to be spent there, there was some menu options where you give the ticket and they give you menu and there were just plain of "this much amount" type tickets as well.

If there was a bigger version of this than I would totally use it too. There was a huge gift card company that went bankrupt here but their gift cards were capable of using anywhere you go and you can buy anything you want with it. People started to give gift cards to each other as presents so that person could go to any shop they want and get anything they like. So there are similar ideas.
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price/difficulty chart on: December 15, 2018, 10:42:40 AM
[im g]https://i.imgur.com/44uRnuJ.png[/img]
The point is when the price drops there are miners who stop mining but people are forgetting that when the difficulty drops to a point where even a small miner could start mining again and make some little profits there will be difficulty increase again and than the price will have to go up.

Hence, we are just waiting for the difficulty to reach to the point where the price has dropped and when it catches up with the price there will be new miners who will want some piece of that pie and the price will go back up again. There is no way the difficulty keeps dropping the way it does since it wouldn't make any sense for people to just let the profits go to waste, people see profits and they take advantage of it all the time so why would mining be any different. It is just matter of time.
