I don't really think anyone spent 14k on a piece. I think that is a shill to drive business on these smaller items. If someone did spend 14k on a piece of laser etched wood.... well that money must have not meant much to them in the first place.
Actually I just found out someone did indeed spend $14k on a piece. Blazedout419 is no shill account, I've dealt with him several times. But the money he spent was before this fraud surfaced. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=864472.0

I'd like all the netflix accounts please, so I can email all the owners and tell them to change the PW. Half serious about this.

Thought I already posted in here, but it looks like there are two of these threads.
Looking to buy a google voice number, however I already have one. Also, will I be able to link this second google number to the same cell phone? Basically I want my cell phone to be able to take calls and text from 3 different numbers.

I'll buy it for spot gold price and for the 1 BTC ... Personally I think the coin is worthless, anyone can start creating these and selling them.
lol way to thread crap. You can't even buy cheap bullion for spot. And if it's worthless, then why did you put a price to it?

Wow I only just saw WoodCollector's work today and somehow found this thread that has totally blown up.
At least he delivers the goods and in my opinion they look amazing.
No doubt he is using a laser for some of the finish. That is obvious.
All his clients seem happy(?) and he just needs to start mentioning that he uses a laser engraver for some of the finishing work.
Case closed.
EDIT: I also think the title of this thread is misleading. He delivers the work and his clients seem happy. Calling him a scammer is going too far in my opinion.
Going back to what I just mentioned: if you bought gold and received counterfeit, you technically received something, but is it not a scam? The high value is in the hand carving, which he is still lying about. You yourself admitted that it's laser-created, not hand carved. People create art with all kinds of different methods and techniques. The amount of time put into it does not equate with value in the art world. It depends on many other factors. It's not as clear cut here as someone selling fake gold. That is black and white. It's either real gold or not. EDIT: Also I agree with you. He does need to state that he uses lasers for the finishing work and I agree he should have been honest about this from the start. I still like his work though. Yes you're right, art has no clear value. However, whether this piece being hand carved or lasered it pretty clear cut. Like the gold analogy, this wood was marketed and priced as a hand carved piece (real), but turned out to be lasered (fake). And it's debatable to even call it HIS work. The artwork seen in here are not even original, but rather just taken from various sources. This is even a potential for copyright infringement if he stole from the wrong source.

Material: Premiere grade quilted Watermelon Ivory (A rare form of Pink Ivory) This is a beautiful art piece but is it made from animal ivory? If so people need to realise that these animals are going extinct because of animal killings
Yes, it's made from the animal species called Tree

Just making sure, it's still new, right?

I'm appalled to see that some of you think WoodCollector's business practices are acceptable. For those that have bought his work already, he's not legit just because you like what you bought. That's besides the point. The fact is that he deliberately lied about the work being hand crafted when it's actually done by a machine. That's just downright dishonest.
If someone sells counterfeit gold/silver bullion and passes them off as the real thing, would you be ok with it? How about paying you with counterfeit cash? That's the same level of ethics here.
Let's be real here. There ain't no video coming out of him working on a piece. If a video does come out, it will show the work as subpar quality.

Just curious, if you're willing to send wires and pay bitstamp rate, why not wire directly to bitstamp and buy from them?

https://i.imgur.com/c9UF3X2.pngDoesn't really prove anything though, if I was a scammer... I'd just delete the message. Still though, only a mod can verify at this point. moderators can't look at other users' private messages. only administrator can. send a message to theymos/badbear. Actually this is a pretty bad idea. This would be a huge waste of badbear's time. If he did it this time, then he'd have to constantly check user's inbox any time there is an accusation by someone else. Same reason why he doesn't verify if an alt account belongs to specific people any time there is a request.

This is not the biggest theft. I believe allinvain lost about half a million coins several years ago. And yet he's still active here and there on this forum.

For most people I don't think it's the wait, but rather the risk.
I'd be willing to wait 2 months before receiving it, as long as I'll be somehow guaranteed 100% that I'll actually receive it.

I have the physical key for a physical safe with a backup in the form of a laminated paper of a the wallet seed for my Bitcoin savings.
Ah gotcha, thanks for confirming there's no way you can actually send it. Well this deal is not for me, but good luck to anyone willing to take the leap of faith for this transaction. I'm willing to do this trade if you're willing to meet me in the middle with the terms if you don't want to use escrow. I'll pay by WU or MG first, but will only give you the MTCN or reference number to pick up the funds after you send me the BTC.
Just for future reference for everyone, this isn't meeting in the middle, Haploid can easily still scam here if he wanted to. It literally takes 60 seconds to freeze a WU payment. It generally takes 5 minutes to fill out receive paperwork, for the clerk to look up the payment and for them to pay you the money. You're absolutely right, and I actually was scammed this way when I first started accepting WU. Funds can be canceled any time, as long as the cash hasn't been picked up yet. However, I currently have over 60 BTC loaned out to a handful of people on this forum. If I plan to ever run, It wouldn't make sense for me to do it now, would it?

You're right, sorry overlooked "This will be my basics and my soonest possible ticket home" meant this funds your flight home.
And maybe I don't understand correctly, but if you carry around the private keys, then that's all that's needed to sweep the funds into any wallet, unless those keys hold more than 10btc.

I have a youtube channel that earns some decent money. I haven't uploaded a video in a few years, but it's still bringing in some passive income and new subscribers daily.
This makes me wonder how much those channels with millions of subscribers make. Youtube use to be an untapped market about 5 years go, but the past few years, there's so many new startups that start their own channel. They'll keep making money until this area is saturated.
Where can I find how much Youtube pays for youtube ads? (no need to say how much do you earn) Youtube pays $800 on average per 1 million views. But if your visitors came from first world countries you can easily earn up to $5000. Nope, it's a lot more. At least for my channel. I do realize you said average, but $800 still seems a bit low. I don't know how google analytics calculates everything, but quality of the content and videos do matter a lot. You can't just post random garbage video and expect to earn a lot of the views.
