I'm about to buy something. Is this still going on through Sept 1? What time zone is it based on?

The instructor's mistake cost him his life. But I suppose it wasn't all for nothing. This will at least knock some sense to other instructors that shows such negligence. As for the little girl, this is something that will traumatize her for the rest of her life, and most definitely affect her mental well being.

Why everyone else here seems to think it's their business whom I decide to trust, I don't know...
Likewise, why do you think it's your business whom everyone else trust? If he scams, then people got what they deserved, as it's their responsibility for their own due diligence.

Just confirming that I have purchased two from 9mm-btc. My first ASIC ever, just to play around with haploid, You picked a great device to start with. I had over a dozen S1's and sold them off to buy S3's and kind of regret it. I kept two and now am putting two from this sale back into service! I am always intrigued when I see someone with an account like yours who is just getting into ASICS. I don't mean it to be rude or crass, I'm just amazed at the diversity that BTC and this forum brings to light. Have fun with the most reliable ASIC built yet! ig Hey thanks for the comment. I'm fully proficient with GPU mining for sha256 and scrypt... just not with ASICs. In fact, that started out on this forum in 2011 as a miner, but took a break from it after difficulty made GPU's obsolete. Bought a few ASIC just to tinker around with for fun, not going all out like I did in the past. Anyways, my S1 from 9mm-btc will arrive tomorrow . Sorry for the slight sidetrack but at least you get a free bump out of it.

I will buy all. You will have to send first.
He won't send first. He tried to scam me and wanted me to go first. After I gave him payment info for WU, his excuse was that I didn't actually have the btc... never heard from him again.
|
|
|
WU has a sending limit of $3000 per day as far as I know. $2000 should be fine as I've sent amounts greater than that a few times. Did you do the transfer online or by going to a WU location?
I've received amounts up to $2500 in a single transaction with MoneyGram so I'm quite sure their maximum amount is way more than $900 per transaction.
My first $2k transaction was a few days ago, it got denied after the sender already funded, but before I picked up. The problem was on his side, where the agent decided to reverse the transaction because they suspected the sender was funding terrorist activity (wtf right??), so WU called him to go back to pick up the money. At the time I posted, I wasn't sure if WU had sending amount limitation or something the sender did to trigger the suspicion.

I believe they will check your ID so either way they will have that address.
Any money transmitter will need to verify this information. You are correct, it is invasive.
I don't have a problem with giving both address that I'm associated with. But I do have a problem if they check ID and record all WU transactions associated with my Drivers License number every time I pick up money. I see the agent punch in some stuff while looking at my DL, so I don't know what that's about.

Now all the newbs will continue making offers. I'm sure you know that, but you just had to inject your advertisement.

I will sell AGC to you at 80% discount. PM me
This wheelspin guy attempted to scam me. Not here, but another thread. Fair warning.

One other question. Sometimes when you pick up cash, the WU operator will ask for your address and phone number. Do I need to give the address that is on my Driver's License? This is a bit invasive if I want to stay semi anonymous when picking up cash.

After a short convo with btcbonanza in PM, I've given him the loan after he did a few things I requested. Verified. [sniped]... Agree to these conditions and I'll send the loan to the address you posted in the thread:
0.038 btc loan, repayment of 0.05 btc due no later than Sept 4, as mentioned in your request. During this time, you cannot request any other loan until you've fully repaid this loan.
Agreed to terms Sent your requested amount + change amount you initially sent for verifications: https://blockchain.info/tx/984ac78e5cca4a05d0d98635df69cebb84bf4f0cf278defc4de8eec3b70142e4Repayment address: 1AxhG8XZhPC9R4JNpntokJNSUKPwf9osS8

Scientific proof and God in the same sentence. That's rather an oxymoron.

Someone has a picture of seandaniel as a requirement for a loan (think it was justbtcme?). Post it here. When his face and family member's face is out in the open, it'll make him think twice. I know he will see this thread eventually, if not already.

Someone has tried this and used Square as the payment processor. He instantly got scammed, then shut down by Square haha. This absolutely will not work in the long run.

Not sure about a COA yet. We can probably scan and publish the receipt for our order from the mint publicly (maybe with amounts blacked out) or find some other proof to demonstrate that we are minting there.
We will order once we gain sufficient quantity of orders from everyone.
Yes do you realize that without proof, these could actually be minted from any mint? Almost all Perth numismatic coins come with some sort of COA from them. Their bullions don't but everyone knows what their bullion coins look like, and at the very least the stats are published on their website. Receipt might be sufficient for some people, but it would still be nice to have a COA for collector's value.

Hey all, I would like to borrow .5 bitcoin, I would pay you back within 1 week...
You're not going to have better luck here IsaacDestruction, the opposite actually. He will give you the loan if you send him your chromebooks for collateral Actually I'm just going to delete these posts because he doesn't even have the bare minimum activity to request. But I've made the response to his request directly in his thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=764163.msg8618279#msg8618279I understand your logic, no big deal. However, you don't need to make the completely baseless accusation that I will "run off" with the loan and lump me in with the other scammers on here. I don't appreciate being slandered.
I never accused you of anything, nor did I slander you. I'm saying there is a possibility that you will run off, and the only consequence is losing a forum account for 4btc. You could be legit, but I'm not risking 4btc to find out. Your request is public, so if anyone believes you'll pay it back, then they can loan to you. For me, I'm not risking this much, especially when you're using this loan to pay off other loans.
