603  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paypal + Bitcoin: Welcome to the promised land! on: September 09, 2014, 12:44:04 PM
Wtf... those faces and that voice, makes it so hard to focus on what they're actually saying.

There will be a 100% chance paypal will still rape you with fees for using their built in bitcoin feature..
604  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: satoshin@gmx.com is compromised on: September 09, 2014, 11:59:41 AM
How does anyone buy this story? These types of screenshots are so easily faked. The picture is not of something with complicated blending of colors and shapes. It's all text, basic unison colors, and simple lines. A quick crop job of the "hacker's" email with his own made up text is enough to make that screenshot.

For someone that has tried so hard to remain anonymous, do you really think Satoshi would use such important email account to place orders that can be used to trace back to him?
605  Economy / Lending / Re: tesco value loans!!!! on: September 09, 2014, 08:28:22 AM
Do NOT send your ID to this newb. And collateral too for that matter.

4btc loan just sent to justbtcme, will update details tonight.

I sent haploid a graded 2011 Casascius coin to secure a 4BTC loan at 1.75% interest per week for a month and 0.35% a day afters. No escrow used.

haploid, like a boss, sent the bitcoins to me before receiving my collateral and the trust is much appreciated.

^ Thanks, beat me to it. Worked it out with justbtcme in PM before coming to these terms. Here is your repayment address, PM me before sending the loan back to figure out exact amount.

You're going to pay 1400% interest in 24 hours? What a great deal!
609  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallet do you use for your Bitcoin? on: September 09, 2014, 07:41:26 AM
I use Coinbase.com wallet.

This is not a real wallet. You don't have access to the private keys. Any time you're moving coins, it's more like you're asking them to move it for you. If the site disappears, so will your coins.
610  Economy / Economics / Re: how much are actually bank fees to pay by credit card or send money? on: September 09, 2014, 07:30:17 AM
The costs are often hidden because they are paid by the merchant.  -snip-

Dont be naive. The merchants pays for nothing, since all expenses are added to the price of the product the customer pays. Its allways the customer that pays the price.

So what you're saying, is that paying with cash is a rip off because because you're paying the markup of credit cards, but don't get the benefits of one.
611  Economy / Speculation / Re: small dumped just happened. on: September 09, 2014, 07:01:31 AM
On both bitstamp and btc-e, smallish dump just happened a few minutes ago. Finally triggered some of my buy orders Cheesy

bitcoin is going to nowhere but down, lower and lower cheaper and cheaper!

"cheap coins" today will be even cheaper at tomorrow!

I apologize on behalf of these two posters..  They can't help but fud every thread on the forum with nonsense.  What they are really trying to say is "hey, I want cheaper coins so shut up and stop buying them all stupid head(whine, crying").

How about you go through my post history and see that I'm almost never in this speculation section. Please go find FUD I'm spreading. Look at the time stamp of first post in this thread, and see that there was a steep dip. Fact. And that finally triggered some of my personal buy orders that were left there for weeks. Fact. I never said any of this was good nor bad, so feel free to direct all your bitching at falllling instead.

You on the other hand, have 296 posts in this section.
612  Economy / Services / Re: [For Hire] Writer, Editor and Proofreader - Accepting New Projects! on: September 09, 2014, 05:55:44 AM
Hey ranlo, do you proof read essays and personal statements or just straight up write them? I get asked by relatives to do this once in a while, and to be honest I actually hate doing it. Sometimes I end up just rewriting the whole thing, which takes too much of my time.

Well there's a pretty big difference between 80+ and 90+, especially if it's almost fully loaded and running 24/7. Well I forgive your laziness too Cheesy
615  Other / Meta / Re: URGENT: Black Arrow is currently in the process of deleting it's entire thread! on: September 08, 2014, 10:57:11 AM
Ok maybe not "mod privileges", but I meant how many times does he has to check modlog or the actual thread to catch this happening with minutes?

Back on topic - undeleting posts sets precedence though. Any time more than one person complains about deleted posts, it will be restored?
616  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling upto 24btc @ 490/btc fixed on: September 08, 2014, 10:49:46 AM
C'mon, the guy only has 5 posts. It's not that hard to check his background. Don't bother wasting your time trying to negotiate.

Forgive my laziness, but what is the efficiency rating on this? Price seems pretty low unless it has bad efficiency.
