961  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 18, 2014, 03:47:27 AM
Hi. I am looking to loan: 0.06btc.
Days: 5
Payback: 0.065
Collateral: 14800 stellar.
If accept give me STR address.
My BTC address: 1PHXNwf6MMeEbJMQwJBCsMrHnQkdYahyVp

I'm actually curious about this haploid, I know you don't loan to newbies for unsecured loans but if they have acceptable collateral do you ? Think I saw you loan to one guy before who offered stellar.
Thanks. I use the collateral value is greater than the loan amount necessary btc.

I would accept altcoin as collateral to loan out to new accounts, but only if the altcoin has enough volume and is supported by more than 1 exchange. STR isn't a good one for this purpose. Sorry, can't loan to you. Every STR collateral offer has been declined so far.
962  Other / Off-topic / Re: Ok, so NewEgg bit me in the ass... need help with choosing a new SATA non AF HDD on: August 18, 2014, 01:39:47 AM
There's no reason why that HD shouldn't work. Do a clean format on the drive, don't add any partitions to it (even if blank), set BIOS to boot from HD first, change IDE to SATA, install windows.
963  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 18, 2014, 01:33:26 AM
Hey I would like to apply again, as I could not get a loan because collateral was deemed hard to liquidate.
Amount: 0.02 for 7 days
Payback 0.022
Address: 1KQmwrWjiFWCYjjQo6f6u7rTzeiUvSxpyq

Are you offering any collateral at all? If not its likely haploid is going to deny this.

I still have the same collateral, but people didn't seem interested in it. I have 18 clean, 1 year old reddit account. I've seen people selling them for $5, but people aren't very interested in it as collateral.

There's no such thing as reapplying. You were first denied in THIS post, not because you didn't have collateral, but because you hit the bare minimum post count before requesting.

I'm not accepting your collateral anyways. I don't do that buying/selling/trading account stuff.

I made a separate thread for a loan, you're not the loan God and every request was to you.
Who said I was a loan god? Da fuq? Go request loans in other threads all want, no one is stopping you from doing that. But YOU made two difference requests in THIS thread, I denied both times, and even gave reasons why I personally wouldn't loan to you.
964  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 17, 2014, 08:43:16 PM
hi im looking for a .25 btc loan for 14 days with 20% interest.
Denied. Low forum activity, no prior transactions (probably fake feedbacks in your profile, they're all from newbs that only gave feedback to you), and amount requested is too high.

Amount: 0.035
Days: 2

Denied. I'm going to pretend for a minute that I don't know your alt account. You weren't approved based on nearly all your posts are in the gambling and games section, and the other portion is in the services section for sig campaign.
965  Economy / Lending / Re: Need .25 btc for 48 hours til payday, collateral offered on: August 17, 2014, 07:51:41 PM
Not sole owner.

Then what kind of collateral is this?? If you default on the loan, you just reclaim admin control through the other owner. If you default, then lender can't sell anything to recover the amount. So how do you consider this collateral?
966  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: 10 BTC For Sale [Paypal Accepted] Only $3500 [$1500 Profit] on: August 17, 2014, 05:16:13 PM
^ No they haven't, because you never had anything to sell in the first place. Post the transaction ID.
967  Economy / Lending / Re: Loan 0.20 btc return 0.25 15Aug on: August 17, 2014, 10:10:15 AM
sigh... another possible defaulter on some stacked loans. I was not aware that he took out this loan after I gave him a loan.

This is exactly why I don't allow borrowers to take out concurrent loans if they already have one with me. I do think he'll pay back when he comes online though.
968  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: You send international wire transfer, I pay you in Bitcoin on: August 17, 2014, 10:04:59 AM
International wire transfer from the US cost ~$50 for the wire fee, and about 4%-8% for the currency conversion.

Your offer of 3% doesn't even come close to covering all fees associated with wiring money.
969  Economy / Lending / Re: [COMPLETE PUBLIC LOAN LEDGER] Lenders check... on: August 17, 2014, 10:01:57 AM
seandaniel, you probably wouldn't have paid back BiPolarBob if no one called you out on it. You took advantage of one of the most generous dudes on the forum. Simply paying him back does not turn the wrong into a right, because by your own terms, you're still late on the repayment. 1 week loan turned out to be almost 3 weeks, and that's only after someone brought it up. You only paid him for the 1 week interest, if you want to be fair and make it right, then pay him the interest for 2.5 weeks, 10% per week.

This is twice now that you've been caught lying. Once saying you never stacked loans, and just now (before paying back Bob) saying you repaid back all your loans. These reasons might warrant some negative rep, as your words can no longer be trusted. I left you two positive trust feedback for repaying my loans, but I'm seriously considering removing them, as it might give people a false sense of trust when they see these in your profile.

PS - you hate me (reference) for constantly deleting your posts in my thread, then maybe you should stop spamming the thread. And for the record, they're not "deleted", but rather just moved. HERE you go.

also i hate you because you deleted all my reply in your thread defending myself on your claims that i am lying and stacking loans, now i'll post here again. yes i stacked loans after you lend me but bottom line i REPAID them all and i RE-PAY you 3 days early..

He already made 2 topics. Both topics got shot down.

what do you mean with "not privilege"? what do you mean pfff??

He is talking about that you have a fairly new account, no collateral and no valid reason why you need the money. What will stop you from running off with his money?

yes? that what is meant? then I'm ok with that. Smiley Sea later.

972  Other / Meta / Re: Changing BTC address in profile on: August 16, 2014, 06:22:24 PM
Recovery is not working that way. You should put your address either in one of your posts or a pm.

Yes, but if the account is hacked, then the hacker also has control of PM to delete them. He'll also have access to editing posts, and this forum doesn't put a disclaimer (other forums do) that the post has been edited at a certain time. A smart hacker will also skim post history to delete or edit any publicly posted addresses.
973  Other / Meta / Re: Changing BTC address in profile on: August 16, 2014, 05:47:17 PM
If that's the case, then how is recovering an account with signed addresses any effective? If an account is hacked, then the hacker can just change the profile address to one of his own. You can never recover it after this.

974  Other / Meta / Changing BTC address in profile on: August 16, 2014, 05:04:47 PM
I've never had a btc address in my profile since 2011 and prefer to keep it that way. However PD sig campaign requires an address in profile for payout. If I put in a temporary address, will I be able to change it later?

I'm crunching for a vanity address that I'd like to put as my permanent forum address, however I won't find it any time soon. Just need to put in a temporary one for now.
975  Economy / Digital goods / Re: 1 DOLLAR! Netflix + Lifetime warranty!0.011 BTC !!! on: August 16, 2014, 04:57:20 PM
You know, it's pretty easy to make trial 30-day accounts and sell them. Btw, would you happen to be this guy?:

976  Economy / Lending / Re: Who wants to loan me BTC? And what do you want for it? on: August 16, 2014, 04:35:06 PM
I still might be able to fulfill the amount and duration you've requested in my thread, given that you send the watch as collateral. For reference:

I'm looking for 5-10BTC loan for in real life selling/trading (more profitable) and as a little social experiment on the BTC community and it also helps spread the word on BTC.

You say no collateral but regardless I'll give you shares on cryptostocks to the same value of the loan you give me to keep for good meaning even when I pay back you can keep them. I'll also pay back whatever % interest rate you want on the loan for 30 days. I can take more than 10BTC if you want, up to yourself.

Like I said I'm writing a report on BTC, the community and doing a little social experiment that I'll publish at the end of the 30 days.

Would you consider a Hublot Rose Gold Big Bang men's watch as decent enough collateral?

Yes, this would be a valid collateral. Although, I'm not enough of a watch expert to verify the authenticity of this watch, so if you can find a trustworthy escrow that is a watch guru and is willing to accept the item, then we can start working out the terms.

edit: The likelyhood of a reputable escrow that knows a lot about high end watches might be slim. If you're willing to ship the watch and wait until I take it to a watch shop for them to verify it, then if everything checks out ok, I'll send you the btc based on agreed terms.
977  Economy / Lending / Re: [COMPLETE PUBLIC LOAN LEDGER] Lenders check... on: August 16, 2014, 04:26:23 PM
QuarantinedMoon, this is a great idea but will require you to constantly check every thread in the lending section, and be on top of every single case. That's a lot of work. It'll inevitably fail because you can't indefinitely be this active on the forum.

But kuddos to you for doing this.
978  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering BTC loans [no collateral] on: August 16, 2014, 04:18:14 PM
Hello, I need a 0.2 BTC loan for 1 week. I'm willing to pay back 0.21 BTC.
Approved. Post your address to send the loan to.

I need a loan of 0.03238 BTC for 2 days. Willing to pay 0.04250 back, since I will be receiving my first paycheck in 2 days.
Denied.

Loan repaid as agreed, Ty again... feedback being left after this reply is posted.
Confirming I received your repayment.

Haploid is it possible to check over some of your loans that have been due already and update them so I can accordingly update with public ledger thread Smiley
Yes I'll update my list soon. Some of the people that are late settle with me in PM, but ones that are confirmed scammers I just automatically move to the scammer list.
979  Economy / Lending / Re: Loaning 0.2BTC on: August 16, 2014, 04:12:37 PM
Who was the 0.1 loan sent to?

Im slightly worried as seandaniel has about 3-4 loans out possibly. Not accusing but I'd say 99% he's going to default on all of them.

I loaned him 0.10 btc but I dont see any negatives out on him

I have loaned to seandaniel twice and he repaid both on time. However, I have stopped loaning to him because he started stacking multiple loans, asking for amounts larger than what his account is worth, offering dodgy collateral, and caught lying.
980  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ethereum KILLING BITCOIN! on: August 16, 2014, 07:02:59 AM
Ethereum guys are running away with the money similarly how pirate40 did Cheesy, ironically it was August back then too.

And the irony is they are doing it by the book this time. Buyer of Ethereum essentially sign over their right to the developers and can't call them scammer even if the project failed miserably.

Look to me like they have moved 4k BTC, and they still have over 20k BTC unsold. Imagine the horror in the coming weeks and months.

We have 4k BTC to 470 to bitstamp right now.  The market should be able to withstand a 20k BTC dump if spread across exchanges.

Arbitrage will mean they'll be naturally spread out across the major exchanges. Waiting until closer to the end of the 20k btc before putting in my buy orders.
