141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Include Or Always Include Gambling In Your New Year's Resolution on: December 04, 2023, 11:32:47 PM
In the last year resolution I had included gambling. I wasn't able to keep it up for long. Within few months started to gamble. This time I don't have any plans and even if I add it I'm gonna continue gamble after some time. In one way I continued to gamble, but the resolution helped me limit my gambling activities, I didn't spend much as the previous years.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can you make gambling a profession - a full time job on: December 04, 2023, 11:28:51 PM
We simply find gambling as an easy way to make money. When people win for the first time, they see it is possible forever. This is wrong, people need to have better understanding about gambling before they take it as a profession. There are people who are lucky to make consistent earning out of gambling, looking them if one thinks the same to happen for them it's their mistake.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Luxury and spending lifestyle fastest way to poverty rich kids on: November 30, 2023, 11:51:05 PM
USA and Canada have got lot of homeless people and this is due to drugs and the government have made several plans and programs to recover those people and provide life. In a documentary I saw a person who is using his tricycle to have his things packed and he's homeless for more than 45 years. To those people how can we say it is all because of the drugs. The reality is being homeless drives them to drugs. It is true, when they have no shelter it is really painful to cross everyday and to keep themselves in sedation they go for different kinds of drugs. It is not the right way to make ourselves rich selling to the rich kids.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Insurance is important on: November 30, 2023, 11:45:45 PM
Developed countries are more familiar with insurance because the majority of the population has relatively high incomes and can afford to buy goods at high prices and are certainly worth insuring. It is different from developing countries because the majority of the population's income is still relatively low and cannot afford to buy high-priced goods. I know that insurance does not look at the price of the goods insured, but in reality, most only high-priced goods have insurance.
These days insurance were at best price compared to the developed nations. Myself being from a third world country find the premium to be paid for family insurance from the best service provider in my country to be a possible amount for middle class people. I've read articles stating people from the first world country unable to pay insurance and gone homeless. Based on the premium we pay it doesn't look like it is that high. Also it isn't mandatory in my country and in my understanding it is a must for every family.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever been a gambling addict? on: November 26, 2023, 11:55:24 PM

Exactly, this is one of the biggest challenge of most gamblers, knowing their limit is something most of them don't know, they just gamble until they have exhausted all they have got in their wallet before they will eventually stop and sometimes they turn out broke.

This has a lot to do with self discipline because they are not discipline enough so they can't definitely control themselves especially when they have turn out to becoming addicts resulting from their continuous gambling without restrains. This is why it's always important these casinos always emphasis on responsible gambling because they know how well reckless gambling could impact on their customers.

Every gambler will be gambling addicted person in some period,So if the gambler can't control the emotions in the gambling site.If the gambler can't control the emotion at certain period of time in gambling,at that time he can uses all their holding assets and generated assets to revalue to dollars to get the recovery of the loss in the gambling sites. But later only he understand that he need to understand the real tactics to achieve such situation. When he understand this things,he get away from the gambling addiction. But he should later use the free money for the gambling to avoid of get into the gambling addiction again.
Agreed, and very few realise that they were much addicted and take the necessary measures to quit gambling and be on the safer side. Majority don't have the mind to accept and when they think after years, they'll realise how bad they've addicted. These days gambling addiction have turned to be very common as we've got more platforms to spend. More the time taken to realise more will be the loss which is why we need to keep on self evaluating when we're regular gambler.
146  Economy / Economics / Re: Young people needs productive mindset to be happy in life on: November 26, 2023, 11:46:24 PM
I think it depends on the country. I don’t know what country OP is from, but in some countries, depending on how good you were in your school result, you will find a job. However, like OP said; the world has changed and one shouldn’t fixate on jobs just to avoid the sadness that hits when you don’t find it so quickly as you expect. One of the good tactics to find a good job, the type that would even be waiting for you to graduate is to start searching early. If you start searching after graduating, it may take a lot more time compared to if you started while in your last year.
These days people doesn't want to risk. That is the main reason why majority look for a government job soon after the graduation. There are young people who are much interested into having their own business, but the family won't be wealthy to support and start a business. If an young person needs to start, he need to start from the scratch. When he slowly establish things, someone with good financial backing will open similar business near his region and eat away the profit. I personally feel young generation need to be motivated and the governments need to help with different programs to make them stand independent. When the government support with low interest rate loans and other forms of capital we can see much more young people living what they dream.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: How Much Does Food Cost in Your Country? on: November 26, 2023, 11:35:41 PM
In my region for traditional food in a local hotel it'll cost around $1-$2. The same when spent on a star rated one it'll cost much higher. The same food if prepared in home it'll cost us the same $1-$2 for a family of four. I'm talking about the veggie foood. Non veg food used to be higher in price. The start itself $4 and it goes high depending on the hotel and the location.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price $45k by ending of 2023: AI prediction on: November 26, 2023, 11:27:22 PM
There is still a little more than a month left until the end of 2023. Since the Bitcoin market is volatile, it is impossible to predict exactly how much its value will rise. It may be that we don't even get to 40k this year, and it's also possible that we can break 50 to 55k. So it's hard to say exactly how long it will last. Now let's see what happens.
The market is volatile by development. It can be seen all the time. Now the volatility range was seen higher than other time. This is good time for the traders to make better earning. The price of bitcoin have been moving around $37500 for a long time. If something positive happens around the market a good bounce could happen. Even with its regular growth it'll reach above $40k as we were able to see higher growth taking place at the year end. Lets see if 50k happens in 2024 or earlier.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: "I saw my salary on a bottle of perfume today" on: November 25, 2023, 11:59:56 PM
There is difference between living life and enjoying life. First of all we need to live our life, and for that we need to work on it and increase the income streams. If we can't live the life, then we can't think of enjoying the life. We may feel happy for the perfume, for someone it is kind of tip money. For many of us it is a month's salary. Just because someone use it we shouldn't get tempted. We should know the situation of us and we need to plan accordingly. Maybe we can buy it, and what will we do for the rest of the month. So, live the life and enjoyment will accompany when you keep yourself focused and dedicated.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: November 25, 2023, 11:47:39 PM
...If you do good research about cryptocurrency and the coins that have been making so many people millionaires in the last decade, you will see that people make good money through meme coins than in bitcoins because meme coin has hype while bitcoin is already known and will remain one and only bitcoin...

And that's really true, many people have become millionaires thanks to the meme coin. But have you ever thought about how many people lost their money so that a few people became a millionaire? If you are not a member of the team and you do not have friends who know about the team's plans, you should not invest in meme coins. Otherwise, the chance that you will lose your money is much greater than becoming a millionaire.
Agreed, not everyone had turned millionaires investing on memecoin. Insider information is much needed one and apart from that we need to be lucky to choose the right memecoin and turn rich. With cryptocurrency anything can happen, so we need to keep ourselves prepared to face the worse. This will help us handle any sort of market situation and avoid the losses.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It Late To Invest In Bitcoin? on: November 25, 2023, 11:44:11 PM
I'm so pathetic and depressed because I didn't know Bitcoin quickly. What should I do? Cry

There is no such a wrong time to buy bitcoin, if you haven’t bought when it was cheaper than this, you can still buy now because it is still cheap to buy now if you compare it with what the worth of the price will be in several years to come. It will be nice if you buy now, there are lower units of bitcoin called Satoshi’s that you can still afford. Don’t still miss out of not buying at the price it is now, so that you don’t regret later of not buying at a lower price still.
Everytime is right to buy bitcoin. Maybe you think we have missed the opportunity and today the price is high. After an year, you'll think of missing the opportunity we got today. So, never think of the past. Just move along with the market, as we've got the opportunity to invest/buy based on our financial ability. Have a long term plan and keep adding as much possible limiting unwanted expenses. Surely the amount you save now will give hands in the future.
152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you foresee crypto payments going mainstream soon? Why or why not? on: November 25, 2023, 11:38:28 PM
Bitcoin have turned to be the effective way of payment, but people weren't ready to spend it. The ultimate of people is to accumulate as much possible considering it an investment that can change their lives. This is the major reason why it is really hard to see bitcoin into mainstream payments. Another thing, being into cryptocurrency usage we've got an overview that people are much aware of it. The reality is against it. Very small percentage of people around the world have known about it and surely it takes more time for people to know about bitcoin and use it in real-time.
153  Economy / Speculation / Re: Should I still hold the investment or sell it? on: November 25, 2023, 11:34:58 PM
With $150 worth of coins it doesn't really matter what you do. It's very optimistic to expect that in the next few years Bitcoin will be worth 10 times more. Would $1,500 change your life? Even of you are from a very poor country, there's no way such sum can be life-changing and allow you to buy a house. Even 100 times and having $15,000 is really not that much in the modern world.

Sp focus on earning money first and then start worrying about investments.
Thats a big expectation. If this was few years back, maybe there could've been life changing moment with the $150 worth bitcoin. Now things were different and the market have widened. It isn't easy to make big money out of small investment. Maybe this kind of money could turn big on altcoins. Those are completely a gamble. Anyhow considering the upcoming year it is good to hold.
154  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Bear Market over? on: November 24, 2023, 11:42:35 PM
today the price of bitcoin has passed $37k and I see that recently the trend of bitcoin price movements has been very good and if this continues $40k will be reached soon. I am sure this positive trend will continue and in the future we will see an increase in the price of bitcoin because soon we will enter a bullis year and more and more people will want to buy bitcoin for investment.
If you ask is the bear market over? looking at the current market situation it seems like the bear market is over.
New bitcoin high price have been recorded today. The price went closer to $38500, and the same have now moving around $37700 which means the market is in gain of resistance to cross the barrier. We can't be sure of the market trend, but kind of bullish trend in progress. Because the price that was down to $30k for a long have slowly built and now it have reached this level and at any point this hadn't moved backwards. So we can be sure of market on the bullish trend.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: November 24, 2023, 11:38:52 PM
None can give clear information on how the market could turn as well as what is the present trend of the market. It is always good to go along with the market, which means keep holding and if you find the price reached is good to make good profit go for it. If not, keep holding and market will have continued bullish and bearish move. We can't be judgemental on this as bear trap, and at these situations we need to be into trading to continuously buy at the dip and sell at the rise.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think on: November 24, 2023, 11:35:35 PM
It isn't the time to think of the market getting down as what we experienced back in 2028. Opportunities need to be utilised, maybe tomorrow the market can go high or it can go downward, however reaching the level as 2018 is really hard. Whether you're long term focused on short term, just find the right coins and keep on accumulating through the DCA strategy or other ways. Maybe after few years we'll think of the price during the year 2023 is lesser.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What would happen if there was only one cryptocurrency, which is Bitcoin? on: November 24, 2023, 11:32:06 PM

The price will only increase if there is demand. I think the existence of a single coin does not affect the price much. According to the simple rule of economics, the more buyers of a good, the more its price increases. Therefore, whether Bitcoin stands alone or not, it can proceed in a similar way.

There are many cryptocurrencies, but which one can you trust as much as Bitcoin? Your answer to this question will be similar to the answer you would give to the question asked in the topic.

in every market, competition is important to know the difference of their role. however, if there is no competition, i guess, people won't appreciate much about its existence.
and how people look at the demand factor may be different. so i guess, we won't really know the scenario for this.
or maybe, we will have a different competition, not among with cryptocurrencies but when it comes to holding various assets.
If bitcoin is the only cryptocurrency then the growth wouldn't be this high. We could've got its usage all around, and the acceptance level to be same as now as it had got value. In terms of growth we will at the days of 2015, because it is the altcoins that gave the competence and the growth shoot high. At some point Ethereum gave the hard competence, further the competence was found between Ethereum and Binance coin. Further it happened with XRP, so the competence keeps the market progressive and moving on the right track.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some rich person not interest about bitcoin for following reason on: November 24, 2023, 11:27:57 PM
A friend of mine is not interested in buying Bitcoin even after learning about it.
Because according to him Bitcoin is a small number of people who have a lot of Bitcoin. They can easily go down on the bitcoin market if they want to.
Example: Cz. Craig wright & Michel Sailor etc.

Looking forward to the well thought out opinion of the experienced in this regard.

rich people will not be interested in Bitcoin, because they are already rich and prefer to invest their money safely, so of course not many rich people are interested to investing in Bitcoin, but people who want to be rich, will definitely invest in Bitcoin, because investing in Bitcoin has the opportunity to become rich, therefore there are still many people who want to be rich will definitely take the risk of investing in Bitcoin, because only Bitcoin can make us rich even though the risk is also very high.
Agreed, people who are already rich doesn't want more money to enjoy life. For people who are in the middle class struggle hard to enjoy the next level of life. Even in the cryptocurrency industry it is possible to see quite few numbers of rich people, whereas the majority belongs to the middle class who keep on learning and innovating things to make themselves better in life. When one doesn't want money, they'll never think of it. This is why most of the rich continue their traditional investment and doesn't focus on cryptocurrency.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would You Crowdfund for a Gambler Who Has Gambled Irresponsibly? on: November 22, 2023, 11:59:11 PM
I might help, and it is all about the financial goodness of me. If I were with enough funds and the reason is true I'll surely help him. I once tried this at my very critical situation and things didn't work when I lost my money kept for my marriage. Further I arranged the money taking a loan. During those days I've thought of similar things, if I were good enough with money need to support incidents like this. Because they don't engage with purpose of losing, the mind will be with the positive hope of making little more money and stay financially good. The reality used to be opposite from what they expect.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How often is your luck in gambling? on: November 18, 2023, 11:59:23 PM
Quite often I used to be in luck, but I don't know to maintain the luck. I just do the wrong by placing bets continuously. At times I even spend on unknown games and on sports events that I don't have much knowledge. This is kind of addictive move and this is where I fail and I need to control myself to be on that profiting side. I'm personally feel lucky with gambling, but my loss of control ruin my wins.
