1121  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which countries do you think this year will adopt Bitcoin as a Legal tender? on: February 05, 2023, 10:49:50 PM
Nigeria might be the next bitcoin friendly country. Please note I didn't say the next country to adopt bitcoin as a legal tender. We are expecting that a more open minded and enlightened President will be elected in this month's elections. Our hope is that the restrictions placed on banks would be lifted. This will attract more bitcoin investment in the country. I used to imagine how it will be like to use a Bitcoin ATM. I have never seen or touched it in my whole life. It will  be good to use Bitcoin without intimidation from corrupt law enforcement officers. Bitcoin will really bring boundless opportunities. Bitcoin is unpredictable, it will be difficult to predict the next country that will adopt this priceless asset as a legal tender, but I am sure it will be a developing economy.
The usage of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in Nigeria keeps increasing with time. This doesn't mean Nigeria gonna adopt bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. As per the progress of cryptocurrency usage Nigeria stands high among the African countries, but till now the legality haven't been announced. Another thing, Nigerian government have launched e-naira just to limit the usage of cryptocurrencies within the country.
1122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are you interested in bitcoin? on: February 05, 2023, 10:39:27 PM
As majority of the users I'm also much into the profit one can able to make through bitcoin investment. It is much risk involved, but based on the understanding and the patience one have, it is possible to make good profit. Initially the money making drove me into bitcoin and slowly started understanding the real purpose of bitcoin. Now I find it to be the best than the traditional system as we're the control of our own money than someone else having control on our funds.
1123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: February 04, 2023, 02:53:14 PM
BCCI recently said No (for the 100th time). This answer is not going to change, no matter how hard Sethi Saab or PCB try.

They won't risk the player's life for cricket despite getting presidential-level security and rightly so, as life is more important than sports. Even Police forces are not secure there atm, the recent Peshawar blast is an example.

BCCI has refused to play in Pakistan even before Sethi sb took charge of PCB. Australia, England and New Zealand have toured Pakistan and everything went fine. Security of team is not an issue.
Peshawar blast has nothing to do with BCCI stance as they were not touring Pakistan ever since BJP has taken over government in India, india came to Pakistan in 2008 last time. PCB best option is not to travel to India for WC.
Pakistan not traveling to India for the WC not gonna cause any loss to the Indian Cricket team or the board. India holds the highest market for cricket and the absence of Pakistan will affect PCB. Already Australia, England, New Zealand, Ireland Women's team and more other teams have toured Pakistan. However India touring Pakistan and other countries touring Pakistan have got lot of difference. The ruling government of India makes big political game, no doubt it it, but we can't assure things will be perfect on Pakistan tour.
1124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Casinos Want you to Gamble Responsibly on: February 04, 2023, 11:12:58 AM
For them it is business and with every activity online we were able to see disclaimer and such a disclaimer is found in each and every gambling platform. Every casino want it's users to play in a responsible way, only then business will be good. When it comes to an investment based platform, we can see the disclaimer investments are subject to risk read the terms carefully before investing.
1125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: February 04, 2023, 10:06:55 AM
Brisbane heat won the toss and batted against Perth Scorchers in the Big Bash League final. After winning the toss and going into bat, they lost 4 wickets in 16 overs and have already accumulated 132 runs on the scoreboard.  There are still four overs left in the first innings. As the two batsmen are in a tight role, it is expected that 60 runs will come in the next four overs. In the next four overs, if Brisbane heat is able to accumulate 60 runs on the scoreboard, then Brisbane heat's score will be 190 plus.  And if a target of 190 plus can be given in this field, then I think the match will definitely be very fighting. Hope the final match of Big Bash League will be great.
It is Brisbane Heat that have reached the finals, which is completely unexpected. Winning the toss had favoured Brisbane heat, but target needs to be atleast 180+ so that bowlers will be able to perform better. Brisbane Heat have completed the innings scoring 175/7. Both the teams have got similar winning percentage based on the viewers choice. Small mistakes in the match will decide the winner. Big Bash League which is popular among the cricket league is getting over today. Soon the IPL season gonna begin and give entertainment for the cricket fans.
1126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Act local and think global on: February 04, 2023, 09:33:51 AM
I've introduced bitcoin to friends and few of my family members. The latter part is upto the person whether to invest or just leave it. Further if they ask support I used to help them, I don't volunteer. People are much interested into it, but at the same time they aren't ready to accept something that is virtual. In my locality some have used the term cryptocurrency and scammed people. So, if I try to spread people might indicate me a scammer. I need to be very careful handling things in my locality.
1127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: February 04, 2023, 02:58:32 AM

I'm not going to give up on Nadal yet, we all know he's getting kind of old and injuries affect tennis players a lot since it's a one player game, but he's not the type of player to give up easily, he had his downs throughout his career and bounced back, I'm expecting him to win a couple of big tournaments before he retires, if his body doesn't bring him down, the mentality to win will always be there with El Matador.
me too - for me Nadal has always been a legend to me.
YOu are right he would not give up that easily - but that too is true -sometime the injuries are fatal and they kick off the players off their career.
Nadal comes back to form, but we can't expect him to perform same as his past days. He's a never give up attitude person, but his injuries keeps on hurting and at times when he's on the progression once again something hurts. He's a good player, but the emerging young ones are giving hard fight. Somehow Spanish players are getting to be on the top players like Carlos Alcaraz, Pablo Carreno Busta and Roberto Bautista Agut are in great form.
1128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What is your take on this crypto gambling use case idea? on: January 31, 2023, 11:52:39 PM
The concept is good, but I'm not sure of its success. Just try to work it out, only then you'll get to know whether gamblers are interested into it or not. The success depends on the way the game is being developed and the smoothness experienced while using it. Users always prefer to have multiple deposit option than sticking to the same token.
1129  Economy / Gambling / Re: PVP Games Lounge launching soon on: January 31, 2023, 11:45:36 PM
I am happy to announce me and my team are developing couple of table games , that will be played versus player and multi player tournaments , a public chat room for players:
more information will be released , we are building it around a Defi Token project for it to get enough publicity for the games platform.

How is this game that you are developing OP that is PvP games under the defi token projects? Are there any updates on this matter?

I just remember that the only PvP gambling that I know that can be played in the game of blackjack, and poker, we just don't know here what about the OP who says that it is unique and there is nothing like it.
I'm not sure of it. Based on what I've understood games like chess can be considered as PvP games. The best part through PvP games we were able to show our skills. By the same time we won't be able to confirm whether we're playing against player or against the computer. If this can be confirmed, then PvP will attract more players than gamblers.
1130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - The Leading Crypto Casino - 🦉 Drake, UFC, Everton Main Partner ⚽ 🥊 on: January 31, 2023, 11:38:06 PM
Are you sure they were entirely claimed in that time earlier today, after the post-announcement of all bonus drops will now require you to be level 2 verified?
I saw the drop today then after an hour later said they were all claimed.
If it was just in 10 minutes, then their steps to get KYC'd did not work because it is just about the same amount of time to have only 2000 claims done barring 5-6 minutes more to do so.
These bot accounts they claim are disrupting the distribution of their bonus drops have already got to level 2 by other means then.
Most of code it's always claimed under 5 mins.

It's possible because, just see the total online from "Stake" in the chat. The highest peek user online during my bet activity it's reaching 25,000 user at the same time, 2,000 from 25,000 user online.

IMO, it's possible and reasonable it's 10% from that.
Users are that fast to claim bonus and Stake finds that the telegram bonus drops weren't reaching the right persons. I'm not sure about it, because of the requirements to claim the bonus. Everyone doesn't have the wagering requirements to claim the bonus. The telegram group have got more than 100k subscribers and among them 2000 claiming within a short is possible as said by the above user.
1131  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambler Loses 1.4 million USD in a bet with lower than 1.01 odds! on: January 31, 2023, 11:33:00 PM

This is just the same experience I had last year during Qatar 2022 world cup, the game between Argentina and Saudi Arabia is where I learnt the hard way never to be over confident in a team when placing a bet..
I went all in on Argentina to win that match, but unfortunately, they ended up loosing, I lost all my money, a few thousands of dollars, Infact, if I had millions, I would have probably lost it all because I probably would have betted everything to increase my winning amount.
Argentina vs Saudi Arabia match in the Qatar 2022 was a game that really humbled many football speculators, many bets were destroyed by that single game as all odds connected to Argentina winning Saudi but the outcome of the match was in favour of the least expected team Saudi Arabia, from then I learn a few lessons which are.
*Never to be too confident in any team since football is unpredictable and we should not judge by odds or previous performance or records.
*Double chance your bets if you have the funds to do so but most times you still end up losing if luck is not on your side.
Whether it is sports betting or casinos, we don't know the outcome. We predict the outcome and go for it. What happened in FIFA World Cup Matches is true example. It is really hard to accept, so when we go for a prediction it is good to go with the better odds than just going for mere profit risking huge volume of money.
1132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Being Lonely drives you towards Gambling....! on: January 31, 2023, 11:28:52 PM
Well, gambling has a psychological side too, and being lonely can make us depressed, and depression with gambling is two things that never should be mixed because we will lose all if we play under that condition.

And being only also gives us a feeling that we can lose all without affecting others, but that doesn't happen if we have a couple or a family, the fact that we have to hold something for them in case things becomes bad make us play it more in a smart way.
Loneliness gives space to engage in any kind of activities. As said it has got emotional part, when we fail to control our emotions it'll end up in win or loss. Here it is a loss and the situation of OP is worse. Losses at such situations will easily lead to depression, and one should take into consideration different factors before gambling. As suggested keeping the fund for the family and playing with the rest is the right way. Even if triggered we should have the self control.
1133  Economy / Gambling / Re: Any Casino Android software on: January 30, 2023, 11:47:46 PM
As a result, I find gambling comfortable through the browser because all kinds of opportunities are available.

Most of the apps are basically masked browsers with front-end app-like visuals, so yeah, it's basically as good as going through a regular browser.

I mostly prefer to gamble on my laptop as it is not very convenient to use a gambling site on mobile browser. Secondly, I do not use mobile apps for gambling because i fear that i could download a fake gambling app that may steal my credentials and money too.

I have the same habit, but If I have to, I only download it from the official website of the brand.
Downloading it from the official website is better or using play store for Android users. This should be done for our own safety because there are many cloned app of some good and popular companies online where you can mistakenly download the wrong app and end up losing your money and also complaining to the original site of stealing your fund when the mistake comes from you.
Most of the leading gambling platforms doesn't have their application. This looks like they haven't added it for security reasons. Whats the need for application when the platforms were developed in such a way it is compatible with all devices. If you find it hard, it is good to add a shortcut on the screen which will directly take the user to the gambling site.
1134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have 1 bitcoin? on: January 30, 2023, 11:43:59 PM
Every time the lowest point of the bear market is bought, I believe that after the bear market, the future will be bright again. Hold the coins in your hands carefully and don't sell them easily.
Patience is the key to success; so far, there is trust in Bitcoin; we expect Bitcoin to recover soon when the bear market is over, as we can see how Bitcoin is improving as the price is slowly rising, even though we cannot tell if the bear market has approached its end, but there is hope that it will end soon.
Patience is the key, same as that we need to know when to invest. Most of the time when the market is bearish we end up without investing out of panic whether the market will recover or not. Such mentality needs to change. Believe in it, and the rest is history. This is how most of the early adopters have made fortune out of bitcoin investment.
1135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: January 30, 2023, 10:45:52 PM
It was a great tournament for Djokovic. No one has been able to thwart him, but players like Nadal and Alcaraz have not really participated. Not Alcaraz at all and Nadal also had to give up in a match in one of the first rounds. Furthermore, no one has come close to Djokovic, but he was also very keen to win this tournament after he was not allowed to participate last year. He has not made himself popular with many fans because of his attitude to the corona virus that he absolutely did not want to get a vaccination. But you can't continue to judge someone on that basis, of course. If we look purely at his technical qualities, he deserved to win. Tsitsipas had 1 set point in the final in the 2nd set, but was unable to use it.
Yes, it was a great tournament and he was very interesting to see. I've never seen Djokovic cry for minutes on the floor next to the team after the final and afterwards. The ice man went and the exploding man came. He said it was the biggest victory I've ever won, as if he hadn't won 21 grand slams. He is 35 years old, but still mentally, he is approaching the end of his 25th career and I thought he would pass the flag to the next generation of Russians, but this covid issue has made the man very aware and passionate. He will probably last another 5 years comfortably. 30 grand slams are on the horizon. Without a doubt, nothing will ever be the same when a messi and novak leave in sports in general.

Novak Djokovic had a great match. He also had a great tournament. In the last match, he was the winner. And he did win the match quite convincingly in the end. I also feel like this was not at his level.

He is better compared to almost everyone else in this tournament. Actually, he was better than anyone else in this tournament and that's why he did win the Australian Open. It is going to be interesting to see him play against Alcaraz. I want to say that he is the only one who will be able to give Novak Djokovic a good competition. Everyone else is basically failing.

congratulation to the Novak Djokovic for winning the Australian Open - i have read the comparison of Nadal and Federer and Djokovic - for me Nadal is the best of the best.
however on the other hand Sania mirza took retirement from her tennis career too.
Nadal is no more able to give hard competence due to injury and the young players have begun to perform much better than the old days. The legendary ones tooks credit of the experience and try to win over the young ones, but the stamina of the young players doesn't let this to happen that easy. Different people have their own favourite, and Sania Mirza retiring from Tennis doesn't looks like a big news.
1136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 30, 2023, 10:42:38 PM
Lot of criticism of Lucknow's pitch. I didn't watch a single ball but the scoreboard tells a very clear story that it was an extremely tough pitch to bat on, which we don't see in T-20.

Having said that it's not a bad idea to have a such kind of pitch once in a while, despite T-20 being a batter's game. It gives us a reality check of where these modern batsmen stand in the pecking order.

I think it is actually not bad. In a time when everyone is talking about smashing the ball, it is actually good to see a low scoring match which is competitive, to be honest. And I honestly think low scoring matches are the best because those matches bring out the best of both teams in both batting and bowling. In a high scoring match, it is all about who can smash the ball harder and further. But in these matches, skill is at its highest.

Pitches play major role in scoring. With T20 matches those shouldn't be mentioned as the reason for low scoring. The fall of wickets happened, but runs didn't come. With T20 matches even at the wicket fall we used to see scoring from the batsman. So, it is not just the pitch alone. The players too didn't perform well as the previous match which is my understanding.
1137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too accessible of online casino grows addiction faster? on: January 30, 2023, 10:36:53 PM
Just think of a situation, you're much into gambling. For some reason you've decided to take break and following it. On some occasion you were alone and during that time you'll surely go into gambling and have a mind why not spend some time gambling. This mentality arises just because everything is in our hands. We need to take measures to stay out of reach from online gambling platforms to keep away the addiction.
1138  Economy / Economics / Re: Success is fundamentally determined by luck, not effort. on: January 30, 2023, 10:33:43 PM
As OP mentioned it is our responsibility to do the best and the rest will be rewarded automatically. We need to work for it rather than expecting luck. When we work hard surely at some point we'll be good to some extent even if luck hasn't helped us. Luck is important to make you reach the top, but hard work is a must to keep your life at a better position.

The present market is the time to get back additional earning through some means. Rather than depending on other people you need to keep yourself prepared. Different people have come with various predictions about the market and the outcome might vary much. Because, these are all lomg back Susan one's.
1140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Life Insurance on: January 30, 2023, 09:30:28 PM
When something positive about the market is being taken, they get into panic than understanding the real situation of the people. Everyone doesn't want to reach home to have rich. Rich always have an idea set to learn. Letting them to the learn the true prospects will make life better. An insurance system is required to keep the people on the risk free space.
