sorry mate i can not watch imgur images nor do i want to

I have been testing the wolf-0 bin files on my old 7970  rig with sgminer 5.0 and see it actually makes a staggering 6.3 Mh/s on X11 coins depending on which one it seems some go near 6.7 Mh/s
What strikes me the most is that my card has stayed this far well below 62C

So fast and awesome cool, but it might take a while to get the huge cooler heated up so ill upgrade that if it goes much higher
The card runs at 1050 Mhz with normal 1425 Mhz memory speed and -I 19

It works perfect on the latest amd drivers 14.12 i have no idea if it works for newer cards

I got an total different link where you get a so called new sgminer 5.2 which seems to auto update
I see your link just provides *.bin files so that looks ok to me, going to try the bin and see what it does
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] sgminer with X11/X13/Nist5/Quark/Anime kernels compatible 14.6 amd drivers on: March 04, 2015, 01:09:07 AM
Can not get driver package 14.7.rc3 stable on my machine 14.9 runs very stable
Waiting on AMD to release the new toy which some leaked info suggest (38x - 39x)
I saw the post about that miner and see they released so called version 5.2 as well
However i do not see source code available that kinda scares me, i seen this before someone released a miner which was darn fast but later some of your coins are gone.
Or in an other case the miner send shares to the one who made the program.
So even though it appears pretty fast did you check the pool and see if you actually see real increase or is it like the one who stole some of the mining income.
To be honest i dare not try it out, even though i have very large passwords on my wallets that in itself does not make them safe from hacking if they got them.
144  Other / Off-topic / Re: What email provider do you use? on: March 02, 2015, 09:02:55 PM
Used hotmail for a long time but all the rumours and annoying changes ( read advertisements which you could not block) let me switch to gmail.
If there would be a better solution i would switch easily
Everything is better than using provider email, especially because i switch fast if i think i get a better contract ( read faster for less ) elsewhere

Well i am glad he/they try to get something restored, and i kinda hope btc prices go up back to over 300 bucks so it would make/pay at least some of my power consumption

148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: March 01, 2015, 08:21:53 AM

the idea that GAW is accumulating shit is idiotic to the fullest

I haven't seen so much bad press and angry trolls for any alt.  ever.

Give a plausible explanations how after all of this, XPY is still often number one in volume and the price hasn't collapsed to 5 cents.  Especially given the massive inflation and supposed premine dumping.

It doesn't add up.  It can't be trader given the grand has been down.  Someone is buying up all the XPY.

Well that i did notice as well, i also notice some one/group constant bash this project but as soon as the price drops its being bought like crazy
Just my 2 cents

Funny that many people do not wanna know that crypto coins are widely used by criminals.
Its a fact people not some fiction, cryptocoins are used as much as cash IS leaders have the cash not the idiots on the streets those are not the ones having the big money.
Non of the so called leaders will you find on the streets they live secure in large cities having all luxury their minions never get to see.
Have you seen how bin laden lived, behind his nice tv and if you look well to these so called leaders they have everything and if they do not have it they use others todo it for them.

151  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Managed Gigabit network switches on: March 01, 2015, 06:45:47 AM
I think it really depends on what you do with them and what you like the most.
I like HP because of the ease of use with the very good interface to edit your wishes.
I do not like the tplink and other cheap brands the netgear for instance has a crap interface and lacks alot of settings i like to set.
But again it all depends on your needs, do you want vpn/vlan control over shared network and so on too much to talk about here Cheesy
For me a web interface is an absolute must i hate playing with the serial interfaces. Not that it does not work nut my new pc's do not have them anymore and i think serial is obsulete.

It has been tried several thousands of times only a straight cut is not the answer.
People have been experimenting with this for several ages, with more or less succes.
Yes even on humans in the wars
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Did ISIS Really Passed On Bitcoin on: March 01, 2015, 06:28:12 AM
They probably use bitcoin for the same reason the drugs traders do, its a good way to keep the funds hiding from governements.
Ofcourse the stupid lunatic brainless killers do not even know about what their so called fantastic leaders do.
About the saudi royals i have no idea if some off them support these fanatic morons

I restarted the wallet and synced fine after i added the new nodes.
It takes a long time before the program actually starts find the nodes
But i am not sure if hirocoin will come back from the dead, there is no exchange and nobody seems to have a interrest to get action going

157  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 20, 2015, 01:17:50 PM
I don't want to go off topic but I seem to remember talk that spondoolies WAS considering a scrypt rig (likely I am getting my mnfg mixed up)
Not really mixed up, it's just that a bunch of them were working on them, and then didn't / didn't put them on the market.
Bitmain was going to make the Antminer L1, but cancelled that.
BitFury... ah, BitFury.. love 'm, but no idea why they wouldn't just stick to Bitcoin, really Smiley

Spondoolies did confirm plans back in june of 2014, and later somebody mentioning it was supposed to be slated for Q4 2014 (but that might have been the PickAxe).  That time came and went, and given the Scrypt landscape, I'm not sure what the best time for introduction would be even if they've got the design or even the chips ready to go.

and to my 2nd question is there going to be ANY type of 'chip off the old block' so to speak home miner
Hijacking this question only to say that even if they do exit the retail / home miner market, I hope they'll still be willing to deliver chips to whomsoever wants to plunk down the money for some (and willing to sign the NDAs).
That way companies like TechnoBit (I know that name provokes love/hate emotions, thankfully there's pre-existing threads for that) can continue to design miners around the chips that are home miner-friendly (as they have done with the RockerBox/DICE). As long as one understands that home mining is not particularly likely to be profitable for the end user.

The scrypt market of hardware is kinda dead, nobody is offering those 1 and 2  Gh miner boards some have developed.
And ofcourse the massive amount of the 200+ Mh machines being sold makes this not very attractive business for sales.
Anyone who wants to step into this market needs to figure out how they got such an advantage.
Also you can not buy these boards as far as i know, so nobody can copy the tech they have.
And finding a better solution would cost alot of money and would probably again beaten by those who have the high speed boards already.
But we will see what happens, it might be a good time for make a few extra coins
I guess many will leave the crypto coin world if they find out nothing can be gained other than by trading.

So in the long run its probably again a few very large miners who will dominate that market.
158  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 20, 2015, 01:09:31 PM
I totally agree on that its becoming a small group who will be left mining and it might hurt bitcoin that it evolves this way.
But again we can not say whats going to happen, but it sure looks like a few massive miner groups will be left.
I know some are huge chinese miners who have still access to cheap electricity.
But i think china will in time become much more expenssive because of the massive profits they made in the last decade.
159  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Spondoolies-Tech - carrier grade, data center ready mining rigs on: February 19, 2015, 11:12:23 AM
1600w Lepa is a multi rail PSU. Check your 6pin connectors that go to the SP20 and make sure each 6pin pci-e connector is on a separate rail.

I know i am a geek so i am sure as hell know that you can not use 2 rails from 6 because they are only 20 amp
And you can not use any of the second cables and connectors on the same rail on the psu

But i gotta be honest i do not like the lepa psu's, yes they are best priced but to be honest i regret i ever bought it.
The plugs are weak and break off easily and in every way its an obvious cheap build.
If you try to use an 8 pin on the 20 amp rails it often does not even start. ( tried to power 7970 amd non oc'd which has 2 pci-e pin in case you want to oc )

Anyway its besides the point it is connected at the EVGA 1600G2 with its massive 1600 watt 1 rail
After it arrived i was pleased to see the fat cables and insane 9 pci-e connectors Smiley
They cost a small fortune but its really rock solid

However if one wants to have a super strong psu for cheap which often does as good as a gold psu, find the antec quattro 1200 (pro) second hand and you have a very good psu.
It even is as good as the platinum corsair 1200 in most cases, both ran with several miners and gpu rigs and give almost exact same readings on the wall.
The funny thing is the quattro is only rated 80+ silver and in my situation beats a lepa gold rated but showed same as 80+ plat in efficiency Cheesy

Maybe i been lucky with these 2 but i like them a lot, very good miner psu's ( the 1200 means i can constant deliver 1200 watt)
I have not been able to findout what these psu's actually maximum power is.

But they have limited pci-e plugs, so you need to hunt down some really nice pci-e splitters on ebay which do not have the scary thin cables

During the night the numbers changed
They did run and seemed to use only 518 and 526 watt
But 3 out of the 8  shows blue and on the sp2 showed really odd numbers
I saw 35 hw errors and weird numbers in the sp2 like 343 gh and 42414 asics.
So decided to turn up the voltage a bit.

Hmm i guess i spoke too soon about that they appeared to run exact same now, during this short time with a bit higher volt it changed the sp2 is again slower than the sp1
with new setting applied min volt 0.62 max 0.63,

sp1 : 1055 Gh
sp2 : 997

Am not sure if these numbers are accurate at all, because both seem to have run at 990 Gh during the max 0.626 volt, but if i looked at the asic stats its a mess
numbers of asics and gh being anything at certain moments. I think the sp1 probably does run very well on the quattro 1200 and shows at killawatt 520 watt used
The fan was set at 20 because its -8 C here so pretty cold weather for miners.
This reflects also at the asic stats which showed temps between 32 c and 42 c on the cores, kinda cold enough and maybe even a tad bit too low.

I have changed the fan speed to auto and funny enough it pumped up the fan to 60% and slowly is going down over time.
Will see when i am at the job i am at, by remote what they are at later if i got time.
