You'il never shut me up.
You can either close my account or go fuck you
I believe that this clearly warrants a type-1 flag.

Quote
Due to various concrete red flags, I believe that anyone dealing with this user has a high risk of losing money. (This flag will only be shown to guests/newbies.)
Consensus?

Unfortunately, drama is now the main topic of discussion around here.   :/
This happens when you fail to remove users whose sole purpose here is to troll, cause damage and problems. He'd probably only need to remove a couple dozen of users and it would return to where it should be.

I think wolwoo is not a person that should be in a position of trust;  purely based on his ability to solve disputes in his own actions and words......

This above assessment of mine is forgetting all of his other shortcomings such as making racial accusations (people always attacking Turks?) that do not prove him worthy of a position of trust from a pure manner of logical analysis.

This is not how someone you should be trusting should be acting.

I don't care if you have a rough personality or whatever; I mean, I have been able to reach amicable conclusions in discussions with some very harsh members on this forum.....

but wolwoo... is not a decent person (from intracting with it, and from dealing with the reactions it has been giving to the rest of the forum making substantiated claims: this is my assessment).

Take these words as you may.

It (wolwoo); is one of the MAIN reasons default trust is NOT on my list.
142  Economy / Reputation / Re: Have you seen Yobit's new signature design? on: December 24, 2019, 12:53:51 AM
Its not a ponzi.
paying someone a dividend for a deposit and hold;  is not a pyramid scheme.  Ponzi... yep.... there is no way for legitimacy to be verified.

Its their tactic;  get enough people in to raise the value enough and before a bunch of large payouts are to happen;  then sell off to themselves the amounts people are putting up to claim dividends.... and presto... profit for them.... or they shuffle them off the exchange to sell and dump the price in a way that doesn't make their users feel they got majorly ripped off since another exchange killed the price.

most of the time:  they own the coin anyways;  meaning the supply and whole shebang.

The other side note is the required dice rolls for the investments to be valid, etc...

the house surely always wins.

People who trust yobit with a large sum of value;  are equal to someone handing a homeless man the same value in cash to hold while you go across the street to use the restroom.

I believe this is the wrong thread for this conversation but ill try and end the side topic:

144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BUBBLE || alpha software in testing demo up big news on: December 23, 2019, 08:17:46 PM
Wink
I thought the same way I have received support on this thread in growing this project is the same way some old HODLers of this coin would chip in. How wrong I was. Guys on Yobit are just either dumping or trying to crash the price to buy up and re-sell. These dynamics ordinarily should be the norm with any coin, but in this case, let's HODL! Buy up large quantities and HODL. Our plans for the growth of this coin are huge and we haven't even scratched the surface. You think the rise from 20 sats to 500 sats in a few months is huge? You wait a few years and see us get to 0.01BTC. HODL, stock up some more on the exchange, and keep HODLing.

You can look at it this way;  you have a serious chunk of actually known coins on the network.... and known to be in a staking wallet no less.

You will see all the accumulation of 5BUB blocks that have already been adding up....   You effectively control its supply on the outside from this point.

I am 100% positive that once enough bought into it;  they put it offline as to force people to sell and crash it;  in return, people buy it up and they just sell you coins that flat-out do not exist.   The volume was 100% not realistic on BUB.   Check my sig... its in there from when I did the math.   There was no way in hell that many coins got transacted in two days time of such a dead coin (was trading at ~69 sat)....  I mean, it was pretty blatant.

The best thing we can try to do to keep it alive is find somewhere that will list it.... and be honest about it.

My question might sound noob, forgive me.

How do we list Bubble on other platforms without any activity either from the Dev or from the community?

As an exchange owner, I wouldn't list a coin without an active Dev, and then an inactive community.

You once mentioned something on the borders of knowing Mick in person, or have a direct line link to him, if this is so, can you kindly reach out to him? Let him know some people have shown persistent interest in the project? Perhaps he can come do some quick completion of the SM project.

Regards

scour this thread;  there's some discord links;  he made a few side projects; and mick is (AFAIK) still working on that... (live animated webcam thingy)

as far as BUB;  well;  for the project;  everything always relies on the dev...

but if its out there being used as a currency;  the project itself means nothing in that currency in the present state of today's crypto world.

Also;  imagine the incentive to make the project better if it does become more valuable?

The main problem is it was listen on yobit;  and the main nodes went offline;   so when that happened yobit will not add anymore nodes (it seems) to anything that isnt mainstream or one of the yoXXX scam coins they list/own.

I dont know mick;  I just have conversed with him a few times about the project years back; as well as have done what I could to keep the coins I own worth something.

I still have enough coins to keep staking;  so that's my contribution towards the network.

I still need to test and see if I can use a DNS name instead of IP for a node;  if that is the case;  you guys wont have to update the node config file if my IP changes for the 4th time this year (damned california blackouts causing this shit)

I just had a personal friend ask me about vechain....  something about it being big on product/clone identification or something or other...... he seems to think it might be something.... but this is the first I have heard of it.

anyone have any insight?
146  Other / Meta / Re: BAN the DALTON gang! on: December 16, 2019, 12:18:13 AM

asking in good faith
why do you evaluate events from a single point of view? Don't you think a middle eastern person is a good person? or angry with those who slander him?
what is the purpose of attacking the Turks or me or other Turks in every post?
Is it the 3rd largest local forum?
Is it that we can rival those seeking global interest?

I will not even consider answer a single of your useless questions until you answer the ones above.... at the very minimum.

I am getting ready to make you the second on my ignore list where your posts can sit along with TOAA's.

I'm typically a very patient person.   You sir need to re-evaluate yourself and your behavior.  You are going to have to jump through some major hope to earn any further respect from me.
147  Other / Meta / Re: BAN the DALTON gang! on: December 15, 2019, 11:54:41 PM
no;  Ive been suspicious of you ever since you attacked him verbally for no reason.

That's why.

Stop assuming things.  It gives you the wrong idea.

And;  you should answer the questions above respectfully.

Stop acting this way;  I guarantee it is a major part of the reason you are not a source of merit.
148  Other / Meta / Re: BAN the DALTON gang! on: December 15, 2019, 11:43:14 PM
Jared, why don't you go and give 10 merits to others? Wink

What does that have to do with my statements?  I, in-fact have already handed out my allotment to those whom deserve it.

Stop acting like a child.  You are proving my point;  yet again.

... let the circle continue ...
149  Other / Meta / Re: BAN the DALTON gang! on: December 15, 2019, 11:29:38 PM
marlboroza If you look at past posts, you see what I'm saying.
I can't do anything for not wanting to see Wink

you say you have trouble with english.

he asks you to clarify your statements.

you get defensive and play the ignorant card; yet again.

Do you now see this cycle that is repeating?
Do you see how your behavior is causing all of this?

Unless you have something about you directly connected to the people avoiding bans; a lot of your arguments make no sense.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: December 13, 2019, 07:27:38 PM

I have found affinity helps mostly in dual-thread CPU's;  since the two threads of the same core (people often mistake them as independent cores) share the same cache space;  its necessary to make sure you aren't trying to cross talk between them or major speed bumps happen..
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Number 9! Ninth altcoin thread. Back to the moon Baby! on: December 12, 2019, 04:50:30 AM
Yeah, if my D8P rig does not sell;  I need to find a new purpose for it....

I guess I could try plugging it into RandomX....   What seems to be the algo used with Nvidia nowadays?
Some equihash variants, C29 (C31 for more powerful versions) and MTP are yielding a little something. But it's not brilliant.

Vega64 on RandomX anyone tried it?

Im not sure how much memory speed becomes a playing factor with the Vegas....  It basically comes down to clock cycles the way RandomX is organized, and parallel threads have a cache space issue (from how my understanding sees it)....

As for the other algos; thanks for the heads up.    I kinda figured it was along those lines.

I might just get an R606 and put it on the lottery instead......
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: RagerX - New All-In-One Monero (XMR) RandomX Miner on: December 12, 2019, 04:47:09 AM
interesting miner software....   but;  I am mainly commenting because you did not link the source.   No sense on being banned for plagiarism by not linking the source page you cut/paste from.

154  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The IRS has a new tax form out and wants to know about your cryptocurrency on: December 08, 2019, 04:25:50 PM
But there is no federal law or statute that requires you to obey the tax code; or describes punishment for not paying federal income tax.

Full Stop.

That may be so. The important thing is that the IRS assessed 31 million civil penalties and got nearly 2,000 criminal convictions last year. 80% or more of convictions involve prison time.

I'm all for avoiding taxes, but I would be careful about it for that reason.

Oah I know....

But;  in a legal defense,  I have yet to hear a prosecutor cite or rebut anything substantial when asked in court if they could cite a proper law or statute that requires the defendant to obey the tax code.

There have been a few people that have had their cases dismissed only to be charged again and keep going through the same procedure, but most tend to take a plea deal to just end the process because of time, and money.   The IRS is very persistent to force cases to reach some sort of resolution that gives no precedence against them in this matter.

Look into: Vernice Kuglin,  She is one of many acquitted by a jury in this manner.   The above is the correct question to ask, as there is no answer to this date that conclusively provides such a law or statute.   Any rational jury would not be able to convict you of a crime that is not described by any federal law or statute.
155  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The IRS has a new tax form out and wants to know about your cryptocurrency on: December 08, 2019, 08:06:51 AM
read the IRS's own tax code.... seriously...  Remember:  it's a book by a private entity;  it is NOT a law or federal statute.

find near the beginning wher the term "voluntary compliance" comes up when it comes to obligations of paying the FIT.

Now think deeply about the word "voluntary";
if it was "compulsory" you would have to pay it.... but that is assuming the below is not true: [please try and prove me wrong]

In all reality there are provisions for punishment of 'offenses' in the tax code itself;

But there is no federal law or statute that requires you to obey the tax code; or describes punishment for not paying federal income tax.

Full Stop.

[This is all being separate from corporate gains, which the 16th amendment covers clearly]
156  Other / Meta / Re: wolwoo's merit source desire on: December 06, 2019, 10:50:28 PM
like this?

Ok, correction. You managed to outdo yourself with that post. You sounded like a petulant child using no language at all, with a single punctuation symbol.

I think he proved my point for me....

I almost want to merit him....
157  Other / Meta / Re: wolwoo's merit source desire on: December 06, 2019, 06:57:15 PM
hey jared do you choose merit source?

I want to be a source of merit yes but in local, not everyone knows english like you

it's not my problem whether you believe in god

------------------------------------

this global section is very stressful
you say salute
man extracts etymology of the word "hello"
just say "hello"

I give merit to those whom deserve it.  Upstanding people are who get it from me; and only when they deserve to receive it.

I understand the purpose of wanting to be a merit source in the local board;  but sadly, merits aren't board specific and it can't be looked at with such a narrow perspective like you are...
I can't speak for everyone else on this forum, but I am pretty sure that most people would rather not have the people who advance in the forum ranks to act as you have been acting to us recently.  (threats and the like)

I truly am sorry you are having trouble translating my responses, but they are pretty clear and using common everyday spoken words.  English is a vast language with many words created to convey specific levels of meanings by using fewer words than it would normally take.

I do not understand your need to continually interject religion;  you have NO idea what my stance on religion or god is......    Especially since I have never said anything about it.
It would be likened to me saying "you are a lunatic for believing in god, because you can not prove he exists."   Very disrespectful assumption.
God/Religion was nowhere near the context of the entire discussion; and you keep bringing it up.

stop assuming things about others.   You continue to do it, and I will continue to point it out when you do it.

Suggestion:  do not assume things about people based on a paragraph that you do not understand....
In reality you are making assumptions based upon something you do not comprehend.
You are creating imaginary details that you convey and react as if your imagined details are true.

I could have said a simple hello;  but you went way past that with your initial reply in the other thread.  It was way out of line and not cordial at all.
158  Other / Meta / Re: Option to disable signatures as alternative to self-moderated on: December 06, 2019, 05:37:43 PM
no signatures on any self moderated thread?

This could make things spicy from both perspectives... but maybe I didnt think deep enough about it yet....

But I absolutely love the ability to remove sigs from a thread....    for the exact same main reasons of being a disincentive to post useless shit.

I was VERY good about not abusing posts when I had a sig....
I may have posted a lot in waves when looking at my old history, but they were usually focused around certain project releases, or things like my batch scripts and compilations.
159  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptotalk campaign thread is a mirror echo of the yobit thread... on: December 06, 2019, 11:30:16 AM
I have a simple question to ask from the crytotalk forum and yobit admins that what is the purpose of not refilling the wallets and also not stating the reasons ?  I do not know it the wallets be refilled or not but think in the yobit prospective, It will only damage the yobit reputation, nothing more.

For those who have been on the forum for several years, YoBit has lost all its reputation a long time ago due to hundreds of scam reports. I doubt that this situation could compromise a reputation that was not there anyway. The model they chose is proven to be unsustainable for a long time, and all they had to do was limit the number of users to some reasonable number which with a maximum number of posts per week would be enough to keep the campaign running normally.

Personally, I would approach this situation to select the best members (max 50), set 50 posts max per week and send this proposal to YoBit. Although I sincerely doubt that they have any intention of doing things the way other campaigns do.

99% in agreeance.

The 1% disagreeance would be the myriads of people saying yobit scammed them, when they themselves fell for a telegram/yobicode/deposit scam separate from the "official" yobit; or deposited something like ETC into an ETH account or some smart contract token into an ETH address... which they have never really ever done anything about historically.

Theres lots of record of this in the old ~300 page yobit thread i linked earlier....      Stories like poor chaps depositing 20 ETH into an ETC address... etc...  I feel for em.
160  Other / Meta / Re: wolwoo's merit source desire on: December 06, 2019, 11:25:22 AM
Who are you to judge me?
First of all, look at you, fuck you, piranhas.

I'm not answering you and gangs

Only admin-staff can ask me questions

But the whole forum can mock your attitude and distasteful behavior.

Are you and TOAA roommates?

No, of course
I am wolverine✖️
I'm talking about interrogating like a criminal here.
But of course words are shaped according to intent.
If we spoke Turkish instead of English, it would be a fair conversation.

Irony:  at what point were you "interrogated"?

See... you are introducing statements that are either presumptive or unnecessarily inapplicable to the situations they were presented in.

You say you are Wolverine, but earlier you said you were only Wolwoo.   See;  now you are contradicting yourself.

You say words are shaped according to intent:   So take a step back and see how your words compare to ours as far as normal everyday conversations in english progress.

From your statement;  your 'words intent' is not good given the words you used, the timing of the statements and incorrect application of them.      (this would be using your level of logical thinking)

Your reactions to all of this are likened to Joe Biden's outrage on the 5th where he called a person fat and went off on him;   just for being asked a real and serious question.
If it wasn't true (claims against the accused banned member);  like you claim here and the other thread;  then why are you so immediately defensive when you were not in the spotlight as a target in that other thread?    I only commented with what i said on this thread AFTER the evidence in the other thread showed enough merit for me to support it (the evidence of the other guy, and your unprovoked reaction in that thread).

Take a step back;  chill out.   Stop being obtuse.     The facts in the other thread provided were very clear;  and its a very serious issue if previously banned members are on DT; and likewise the connections to those individuals must be investigated.
