@claymore whats up with the command window that pops up after the initial execution of claymore miner?
i mean the miner itself initializes and begins authentication with pool, but then for a 1/4 second on the bottom right hand of the screen another command window crops up quickly and then disappears as if some auxiliary script is being executed.
i'm on a fresh install of win7.

Anyone using 7970's. What are you finding for the best Algorithm? What hashrate are you seeing?
I'm getting about 890H/s with 4 7970's using a2 i8. With a single 7090 I get 223H/s with a2 i8.

i am getting 175 with -a 1 -i 4 clocked 1000,1500. nofee 1. its an old undervolted XFX left over from my scrypt mining days though and really on its last leg performance wise so not sure how much of an benchmark it should be considered as. i think i'll be switching back to optminer soon for this card as when initiall tested it reported a bit under what claymore 10 shows.. but the average seemed to be creeping up on my pool stats for this mining instance. |

Another block! Didn't see that coming.
I just seen the one today on block trail when was the other one I'm still at 1700+ hours which miner submitted solution for 447370? i had a solution reported and my s7 jumped to like 7TH/s for a spell but eligius is my backup pool it would be pretty extraordinary if i was the successful candidate. |

What a shit with almost all pools? They are stilling our money or it was so hard difficulty recently? I have second day minus 30% of usually profit...
Pools was gambling with your money, and after btc price drop they have to cover losses somehow...  Last 5 days (120hours) sunday 16:00 to friday 16:00 dwarfpool = 0,51337148 => 0,102674296 per day for 1400 Sol/s seems to be a lot less than the week before christmas ?? (with my calculation 20% less than two weeks ago) or is the difficulty 20% higher than the week before christmas ?? Next week i will try suprnova  have a nice day P.S.: 1400 Sol/s -3% Dev-Fee - 0,5% rejected - 1% pool fee = 1337 Sol/s ----> should be 0.1337 zec per day ---> 0,6685 zec for the 5 days For last 12 hours, while I see that every sec my card is finding new shares, faking pool didn't get me any profit... They are faking thiefs! what a bunch of mother fakers huh |

Ok in real suprnova pool sign 0.42 zec day for up 0.02 btc day with 2000 h/s , are you sure its only bad luck ? .
Ah you mean the estimates. I'm not 100% sure about them, better check www.whattomine.com and enter your hashrate and zec there, their estimates are a bit positive too but they usually match pretty good. I have them in my header on the pool as well The pool is showing about 50% higher payout then actual over days of mining ocminer.  That's why I have www.whattomine.com in the header you're running an mpos based pool.. how have you mangled the payout calculations so bad that you are referring your paying customers to another pools page for estimates? |

I don't want the thread to be sidetracked any more by windows 10 activation discussion .
The gear comes with windows 10 and it was altered to windows 10 enterprise LTSB
which is allowed by microsoft. in fact they give the information on their own website.
Windows enterprise is need to do 8 cards.
and windows won't sell you a 1 pc code for a windows 10 you switched to windows enterprise using the info given to you from microsoft
ONCE AGAIN I AM ASKING WINDOWS/MICROSOFT TO SELL ME A 1 PC CODE.
IF THEY DON'T LET ME BUY THE CODE BUT LET ME CHANGE MY WINDOWS 10 FROM PRO TO ENTERPRISE LTSB THAT IS WINDOWS /
MICROSOFT'S CHOICE.
To further clarify this.. the code give on microsoft's website only works on a good copy of windows 10. As per the info on microsoft's website.
So as far as I am concerned I am fine with this arrangement. If Microsoft has a problem once again I am willing to pay them for a 1 pc key.

the stock psu uses only 220-240 volts it pulls 4.5 amps or 1080 watts doing 1715 h
the evga 1600 g2 uses 110-240 volts it pulls 4.3 amps or 1032 watts doing 1715h
have you tried activating as pro and then using instructions to switch over to enterprise? |

7970 are terrible for zcash mining.. just pulled mine to save the electricity as zcash becomes less profitable.

what are the lowest undervolting people have been getting away with on reference rx480's and top overclock %'s on stilt flashed r9 290's?
anyone experimenting with the chill setting? figure it wont come into effect unless it can take advantage of this multi-algo switching.. kind of a hail mary but i'll report back on results if i notice anything worthwhile.

Who would wish to stay in and defend a product marked by davids urine. His involvement in both bay and blacky under the guise of being a developer - not an insider - netted him sizeable gains at the expanse of a lion chunk of repo. Though I see him frequent at posting in both threads, and maintaining bay github repo respectively despite he doesnt get paid. What makes him active coinmaintainer is beyond me. Hes got a cliche on his neck due to which hes recognized mostly like bay associate, but seemingly doesn want to part with it. I dont know why. i know the posts here have become less and less legible but for the most part i have always attributed it to foreign posters and younger/newly interested patrons to bitcoin. i don't think i can chalk any of that up to your situation though..
