141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HOLD by TRADE , that is possible? on: April 06, 2018, 02:00:03 PM
Hello my friends, I am a newcomer to the Trade and I have been Holding the potential coin. I realized one thing I could increase the amount of coin hold by trading them, for example I hold 100ADA then I sell for 0.6$ buy back at 0.56$. I have increased the number of coin. Be sure to buy the right one if you do not reach the target, and the last target is the one you want to target. That's the experience I've been drawn to, how do you feel? Can you trade more effectively?
P.s: I have a post for some of my new friends to refer to: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2777983.0 , you have some advice for them, let me know by commenting on that, and this post is about the best way to trade.
That’s true, it’s always best to find something to do with your coins than just leaving them idle with hope that it will one day increase (well, I know it does increase, but not all the time). Your plan is quite a good one, but it doesn’t actually work all the time, especially if you make the mistake of doing such when the price is only going up, you will just end up with losing your opportunity as price goes up. You can only do that when you achieve your target and then sell wait for it to fall so that you will buy at a lower rate.

142  Economy / Economics / Re: Will BTC and large coins recover? on: April 06, 2018, 01:18:14 PM
If I’m right, this kind situation took place around 2015, 2016 and 2017 and they all happened to recover in all those years. One thing for sure is that they keep going up whenever they might have recovered. 2015 started with the price being around $250 then it started going up, and I think 2016 started with the price being around $500, then we have 2017 which started with the price being around $1,200, $1000 or so, but by the end of the year it was around $19000. So for sure the price will recover.
143  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are you saying wait? on: April 06, 2018, 12:36:06 PM
In recent months, the market has dropped a lot. Many people's portfolios have fallen by 50 percent, and the answer is basically waiting.

We can sell it at a higher price and buy when it goes down.

I think we'll lose a little bit less, better than nothing.
They are telling to wait and have patience cause no matter what happens, the price will still go up, we are just not sure of when it’s going to happen. Well, I know that sometimes it’s always good to gain less than gain nothing, but I believe that this one is a little bit different and you’re not going to lose if you continue to hold and be patient. Although in every market it’s a must that some will lose for others to earn, not everyone is expected to make profits.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: What's more important when starting a business, Big Idea or Big Capital? on: April 06, 2018, 12:00:25 PM
Have you ever heard of the saying that two is better than one? Then the two has to work together; you need bigger ideas and big capital too to start up a business. If you don’t have enough capital there is no way you can work on your ideas. Same thing applies to when you don’t have ideas, you will just keep on wasting your capital (money) on useless and unnecessary things. So you need both good ideas and big capital to start a good business. You shouldn’t lack anyone of these two.
145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is owning bitcoin a crime? on: April 05, 2018, 03:19:42 PM
The question is where do you live? It might be a crime to possess Bitcoin depending on your location. If Bitcoin is regarded as illegal by the government of your country, then it is a crime to possess and you will also be punished if you’re caught. But for where I’m living, having Bitcoin is not regarded as any crime and people who use it can even talk about it in public. There are even open stores where you can go in to exchange your Bitcoins or any other cryptocurrency for cash.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 56% of ICOs fail and it's OK on: April 04, 2018, 04:14:30 PM
Recently, ICOs are not as good as it was before. This is my opinion. I think there are several trash ICOs as of now, not to mention scam ICOs and such. These unreliable ICOs pose a threat on the crypto investors and may have been contributed to the dump of some coins because less and less investors trust ICOs.
Trash ICOs actually evaded the whole crypto space but the investors also have a lot of role to play in that aspect as most people stopped looking out for good projects but a quick way to make money. Nevertheless, the likelihood of seeing a real project not making some waves and sustainable value in the long run is always rare because as long as that is intact, the product will always be useful and that is what would make it work.
147  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of Bitcoin will soon reach $15k on April, 2018 on: April 04, 2018, 03:29:04 PM
It is definitely possible, as the price has been picking up again for the past few days. But it would probably take longer than April, a little longer.
Yeah, I really would not doubt seeing this happening. The market has bounced from $7k even though some of us thought we would have a double bottom at $6k, and from the look of things, we may be having some pretty good movement very soon towards the $10k which may bring up some level of pull back and that can make us to keep hovering about that point the OP mentioned before we finally pick up from there to the upper high.
148  Economy / Speculation / Re: Ten years later on: April 04, 2018, 02:25:28 PM
I don’t see any reason to consider what you said. What are your proofs that Bitcoin will be half a million in ten years later? How did you find out? How did you even know that lots of people will be into Bitcoin as of then? You’re never sure of what happens next. This is investment, and I believe some people here has their goals to accomplish and they are likely to quit whenever they might have accomplished it, creating space for another group of people to continue.
149  Economy / Economics / Re: Which crypto-currency do you prefer? on: April 04, 2018, 01:56:13 PM
At the moment I prefer Bitcoin, but I am looking for an alternative. Can anyone suggest me some alternative cryptocurrencies except Bitcoin ?!
P.S: I'm so sorry if I post this in the wrong board but I don't know what is right board for this question. If I post this in the wrong board, please move it to the right one, thank you.
Man, that’s the same thing as me, my favorite cryptocurrency now is also Bitcoin. I can’t suggest any other cryptocurrency that is better than Bitcoin, why? Because the price of other cryptocurrencies goes down whenever the price of Bitcoin goes down, and they also goes up whenever the price for Bitcoin goes up. So Bitcoin is in control here. Unless you need a cheap good cryptocurrency to invest on, then I will suggest you go for either Litecoin or Ripple.
150  Other / Archival / Re: Don't let the negativity get you down. on: April 03, 2018, 04:47:24 PM
My friends has been advising me to withdraw my money and wait for a while, but one don’t really think that’s a good thing to do, cause I actually bought at the rate of $6000 this year, and the price is even above that ($7000). I plan to continue holding it, even if it goes down to $5000 I won’t really be worried about that. I believe that the price will soon go up, anytime from now. It’s still early to say when it will happen, but I believe one of these coming months it will.
151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin rising to $14,000 beginning April on: April 03, 2018, 03:18:36 PM
Despite that you didn’t analyze what you have just said now, something tells me that you might be saying the truth. I do see some people who say similar thing with analysis, but it ends up being rubbish. But my mind kind of supports what you just said. As of now, I wouldn’t buy anything, I already have a lot of Bitcoins in my wallet, so I don’t see any reason to keep buying more. I just hope that the price goes up from now so I could make profit, cause I have had a lot of patience.
152  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can I make passive daily income with trading? on: April 02, 2018, 04:36:45 PM
Yes you can, and not just only passive daily income, you will also be making passive daily loss. You can’t just get into trading and just be expecting only profits, you should also be prepared for the loss you will be likely to encounter. It’s a normal thing in every market, a hard truth, but learn to accept it and work hard so you don’t see too much of losses.
153  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learnings from crash on: April 02, 2018, 04:26:51 PM
One thing I learnt from this dip is not to be selfish and always take profits where I can and to always keep profits in btc or big altcoins that don't loose alot
That’s quite a good thing to do, but by doing that you’re still relying on the same method. Maybe it’s better you should engage in other ways to sustain yourself than having to rely investing on several coins and waiting for them to grow, so you could make profit. Try to engage in other things, maybe trading just like others do. One thing for sure is that the market will always fluctuate; there will be times when it goes down and times when it will go up. So right no despite the price is down, it will surely go up. This is market, it’s a normal thing.
154  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will under 5000 within this month do you think so on: April 02, 2018, 04:08:16 PM
And what is exactly the ground for such claim?
I can't see any. To my opinion this is a pure speculation that could only bring panic among users and this is the last thing we need. The price is moving around 8000$ for a while now and I don't think some biger changes will happen in any way, so I don't expect some biger fall but not also some biger rise.
Speculators getting at it again, just to scare the living daylight out of investors and make them withdraw their money so that price will go down to an affordable rate for them to buy as much as they can afford. I’m not buying such lies, although the price is not showing any sign of improvement lately, but no matter what the price must still go up, so I will continue to have patience.

156  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Read] User 'The Pharmacist' has blocked your personal message. on: January 20, 2018, 01:47:38 PM
The fact that we humans get chances are the reason the world is in such a condition.

I don't believe that. It is not like I committed a crime and asking to get bailed. You can't compare my situation to an example like that knowing that I'm not or have been involved in anything harmful for the forum or its users.

There is a clear accusation against you - being interested in account sales. Archived here - https://archive.fo/jsfDc

I don't deny that, nor I have ever said I didn't do it. That is the reason why I'm requesting and not fighting for it against someone. Besides, the accusation is just for being interested in account sales and not for scamming someone or doing anything like that. That is why I'm saying that I did that because I wasn't aware of the fact that account sales are discouraged by people in the forum as there is no prohibition for this in forum rules.

There is nothing you can do about it and no you will not get any "chance".

Unfortunately, you are right about there is nothing I can do about it, and this thread clearly shows that. So, we'll see what happens. Hoping for the good, ready for the worst.
157  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Read] User 'The Pharmacist' has blocked your personal message. on: January 20, 2018, 01:13:45 PM
I was requesting him for a chance, as I requested you once when I was tagged by you for spamming/account trading. I haven't been involved in anything bad. All I did that time was all because I didn't know the things clearly. I think I deserve a chance.
158  Economy / Reputation / Re: [Read] User 'The Pharmacist' has blocked your personal message. on: January 20, 2018, 12:43:33 PM
And today when I tried to send a request again, I found he blocked me from messaging him on the forum.
That was a personal recommendation that I had given him earlier.

Ok. That is just great. You just copied the same rating and pasted it on my profile. Thank You, I guess.
159  Economy / Reputation / [Read] User 'The Pharmacist' has blocked your personal message. on: January 20, 2018, 11:39:51 AM
Before a couple of years, in 2016, when I wasn't very old in the forum, and didn't know a lot of things probably. I remember, when I read the forum rules, it was clearly stated there that a person can have more than one account in this forum. Keeping that in mind, I just thought of having more than one accounts, and I tried to buy one. As I mentioned earlier, I wasn't very old and wasn't aware of a lot of things, including the fact that the people here discourage having alternative accounts.

Later on when I came to know about these things, I stayed far away from such things. But as a result of trying to have alt accounts, I got a few negative feedbacks from people, including The Pharmacist. Just because the feedbacks were not affecting my account at that time, because the people did not belong to DT, I did not make any response to them. But now when 'The Pharmacist' has been added to DT, I noticed my account having a red trust because of the tag I got in 2016.

So, I messaged him (The Pharmacist), requesting him to remove the trust or make it neutral as all that happened back then was all done because of unawareness, and I accept it and it didn't happen again nor it will. And if I'm found involved in any acts like that, tag me back and don't ever remove it. But he did not respond. I sent more than 2 messages I think, but no response. And today when I tried to send a request again, I found he blocked me from messaging him on the forum.

I have no issues with him. I don't dislike him, and I know it was my mistake, but all I'm asking for is one chance. I wasn't aware of all this before, that is why I committed this. I would never do it if I knew this will be the result. If it wasn't for my account and if I had a lot of accounts, I would never come here writing all this, and would have already started using another account with neutral trust, but all I have is this account, and it took me a lot of time to reach this rank where atleast people from smaller ranks do trust me a bit. So please, I request you (The Pharmacist) again, give me a chance and remove the tag for once.
160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Shops/stores will lose money when Bitcoin price falls on: January 18, 2018, 06:00:36 PM
I suppose most shops exchange BTC to fiat instantly thru the payment platform they use so they can avoid losing money like this. I might be wrong tho.

You wouldn't need to say that you might be wrong if you cared to read the comments before yours where it is said I think 2 or more times that shops/stores use such payment platforms which actually convert the Bitcoin to fiat right after they are transacted to it.

And OP, shops/stores don't store Bitcoins like us normal people to get profit out of them. If a shop/store accepts Bitcoin, it is for the sake of their customers, but not for the profit they might get out of Bitcoin. And as Pursuer said, what if they don't convert the Bitcoin they get directly to fiat, and the price instead of dropping, rises higher? So there are possibilities of getting both profit and loss in storing Bitcoins and for sure the shops/stores accepting Bitcoin know all these things better than us, so they won't take such risks at all.
