Self funded projects are not many in crypto space but they are always good, the only one i know more about is Apollo currency, privacy coin at its best, the reason why i venture into this project is because of the CEO, already a rich guy though but damn the project is so good, i was able to feel the zeal of wanting the project to succeed, the hardworking and everything is present unlike others who rely only on ico funds
And also people are more trust and interest with self-funded project because the project team is really sure their project will have some profits for them and the quality of the project must be guaranteed, and they willing to spend their capital to build the project which really promising for investors |

very difficult to trace it from the beginning. for example they make a team and plan projects carefully. what they did was right at the start and investors were also interested. after that the tokens they launched did not meet expectations and below the price, even worse they did not launch tokens to the market exchange. they do it for personal gain, so the funds obtained from crowdfunding can fully go into their management allocation without thinking about investors or bounty hunters, and indeed they deserve to be blamed.
We should analyze the project better and don't let any scam projects could make us trapped by their ads. I'm sure if investors are smarter , scammers will dissapear by time because they have no chance to scam. Right now the best time to have some bitcoins as after a few years it will be double in price then it will be lost. Altcoins good but only ETH for me is the good coin after bitcoin to invest our money as with few patients we will gain profit there are still many altcoins that more profitable than ETH, altcoins with still under 1M daily volume are good to invest but only altcoin with a great potential such as NRG. There are a lot of Icos ongoing without specific products. I still believe many of them are going to give us a huge adoption in this space. But the problem is many Icos are planning to get investments by providing nothing with a solid scamming exit plan. You won't be able to trace them by reading their WP, Team, activities even company formation. Recently I saw an ICO, they were genuinely working to do something but later they ran away with a bit of raised money. They closed their website, TG group and everything.
Can anyone suggest to me how to choose the scam icos ?
You should join the community, for me the scam icos and the legit ico can analyze by their community. I can really feel the hype and the professionality from a group of people that discuss about the ICO, if the ICO is scam, the group community might be so calm and quite and like nobody's there. |

Now just waiting time is only for the market movements of both Bitcoin and Altcoins. I am very sure that the 2017 price will reappear in the year 2020 coming. Moreover, Bitcoin will halving the price will go up even a lot of investors and crypto experts who predict the price of Bitcoin will rise over the year 2017.

But remember 2018? A lot of people were also expecting a huge run in 2019,,, which sort of did happen I guess if you consider 3k to almost 14k for Bitcoin huge, but then after that it never materialized fully. For altcoins even worse, ETH for example never even touched the $400 old ATH of 2017 after trying once or twice.
Speculating on events is only useful if you really know the events ahead. But let us see,,, as you say greed is the major factor. Add LTC because LTC will be one of old alts getting new ATH;)
Cryptocurrency price is un predictable and most probably controlled by the whales who has already bought tons on it when the price is cents. So i think any events won't make sure the price would pumped if the whales are not gonna do that. So we better to be ready in every position and condition, don't get rekt when the price dropped too hard and don't leave the boat when the price is pumping. Easy to say hard to do, that is how crypto works. |

Nothing will happen, because I believe only big whales are holding a large amount of bitcoin at this time because they have taken from the hands of traders who have sold it cheaply until now, the old ALT may be far more tempting than the new ALT, I don't think it will never become zero or discarded except for new ALTs, they will reach new ATHs too when Bitcoin reaches 100k, but I can't determine either, just look at it later it only takes a few more years from now, I only take a few old ALTs and a few others

Investing in bitcoin is always the best optiion to invest in cryptocurrency, the chance of getting profits is high but the profits will not so high since the risk is low. In crypto currency the higher the higher profits if it's success. Maybe, they are doing it for free and then after getting some funds tokens will be listed though it is being dumped until the investors get over with it. I am seeing a lot of negative thoughts regarding that exchange and take a look on freelanex, they are done with the IEO and got listed and you are seeing more dumps on it! I might not use that exchange.
