1401  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: March 23, 2014, 02:48:12 AM
I am not sure on the power draw.  I don't have anything to test it with.

Here is the exact code param I use.
--dualminer-pll 850
Let me know how that works for you.
Also make sure you have a good hub.  The DualMiner overclock also only works in scrypt mode not dual mode.  At least so far.
I am using my dualminer USBs at normal hashrate of 70 khs each (on 49 port hub). How much is the power draw on each when overclocking to this number you have mentioned?

My PSU can do 5v 30A, and I have ~25 antminer USB (overclocked to 2ghs each), and ~15 dualminer USB (non overclocked), running at constant speed with no issues at all, on each 49 port hub.

It's not that it could not happen but most likely other world leaders will not do that as that is why Putin does what he wants anyways.  There are no consequences.

1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MemoryCoin | CPU Coin | Paid Dev Team | Limited Supply [MMC] on: March 22, 2014, 06:45:27 PM
Yes it is.
It is also GPU resistant as well.
You can use a GPU but the results are not much over what you get for CPU's.
It is a great coin.

sooo, is this coin asic resistant?    if the answer is yes it could boom

I purchased a Thermaltake TR2 700w from Sang.
He shipped super fast and it works great.
Thanks Sang I appreciate it.

I will take $475 in Bitcoin and split the shipping with you if you are in the US.  If outside the US you have to pay shipping.

I hope it helps and Happy Mining.

is there a marketplace on the forum to buy mining equipment?

I  see the marketplace for alt-coins but nothing else
1406  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: MultiMiner Remoting & MobileMiner: Your rigs. Your coins. Your pools. Your way. on: March 22, 2014, 06:12:03 AM
It's there.
Just right click or double click on them and you can rename them.

Another nice option would be the ability to name/give label to Miners in the software. I dont think that should be too hard?
1407  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTO SWITCH] ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta - Multipool Done Right on: March 22, 2014, 06:08:02 AM
Something weird is going on.  I am running at 559 kh/s (I now not much) but my hash rate on SG show 0 worker inactive.  MultiMiner is showing shares accepted.
Am I missing something?
1408  Economy / Securities / Re: distribution 291747 on: March 22, 2014, 05:57:37 AM
That rules!!
Word is spreading and will spread more.

Distribution 291747 is complete. nastyfans appreciates the donations!

Something cool about this distribution...  Nearly 40% of the donations were from sales of our Physical Seat Coins!

The prices are making me hate being broke.  LOL
Great deals.

1410  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [ANN] Goxxed For The Last Time a commemorative(commiserative) coin on: March 22, 2014, 02:38:41 AM
Congratulations!!
Enjoy.
Oh and don't try and work around that too often or the new wife may lay the law down.  LOL

Samples are now in production, should be getting those in a weekend or two. My marriage and honeymoon may clash somewhat with delivery of the first 250 odd coins, but I'm sure I can work around that.

You guys could use some of the members here that offer escrow.
OgNasty, CanaryInTheMine are two good one's I have experience with.
TomatoCage is anther I hear great things about.
1412  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyPool recording on: March 22, 2014, 02:11:47 AM
That will be great.
Something the community should really get behind.
Remember both of you to get a hold of me when you want me to get it up on CCN and around the web.  Grin

On 2014-03-17 I begin recording the accepted P2Pool shares submitted by NastyPool miners. This will be used for a new reward system I develop with the help of OgNasty. I do not say now how this will work. I only want to inform NastyPool miners that since 2014-03-17 your mining contribution to NastyPool is tracked and will be used to give you extra benefits in nastyfans.

I'm pretty excited for this new reward system.  A 0% fee P2pool node with a >100% BTC payout sounds like a win-win-win for the network-NastyFans-miners.
1413  Economy / Securities / Re: NastyPool recording on: March 21, 2014, 07:55:36 PM
That is very cool.
So many great developments going on here.
Great Job.  Smiley

1414  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Introduction to DualMiner USB (could mine both BTC and LTC) on: March 21, 2014, 06:18:01 PM
You have to use the whole line.
Code:
–dualminer -pll 850
800 is stock 850 is a good spot.  Some can go to 900 stable but I do not recommend it.
Scrypt I am not sure why you would need that for clevermining I have not used them.

I just wanted to let everyone know I put up a small review of the DualMiner on cryptocoinsnews.com
http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/2014/02/26/dualminer-sha-256-scrypt-usb-miner/

It really is a good product and I wanted to share my experience using it with everyone.

From your article:

Quote
It runs at a steady 70+ kh/s in stock settings.

With the setting in the “Param” box of “–dualminer -pll 850” I typically get up to 93 kh/s averaging about 86 kh/s. This is in Scrypt only mode as I have not tried any SHA-256 overclocking.

With respect to the above, I am currently on clevermining, and they specify putting"--scrypt" into param. This might be a dumb question, but can I still overclock it with the "--scrypt" code in the param that I need to use with clevermining? Thanks.

Would it be a big deal if he did not?

What if he didn't?
1416  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: March 21, 2014, 06:08:45 AM
They are real, just real different from the original versions.
That is a good thing.
Did you not know that people use that turn of phrase for original things?

Wait a minute... so the ones you buy now aren't real?
1417  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: March 21, 2014, 05:49:42 AM
Yup a real one from the late 60's my mom had.  It still works great.
I remember watching it as a kid.
I found a huge box of the old Looney Tunes glasses from way back then too.
Do you remember those?

My lava lamp still works, but I only use it a few times a year.
Do you have a lava lamp?
1418  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: March 21, 2014, 05:36:50 AM
I am not sure I have a working black light either now that you mention it.
I wonder if they even sell them anymore?

I'm not sure if my old black light still gets "turned on", do you want me to check?
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Isn't Really Banned in China—and It's Quickly Gaining Ground on: March 21, 2014, 05:04:12 AM
Very good observation.

Guys, I posted on another post about this.  Is everyone completely stoned?  I see a bunch of lemmings with glasses on of course, staring into the open sky because it is a giant LED Screen built by BTC China and the lemmings are regarding a digital fairy waving her index finger, calling them to come, come, come....."we must send bitcoins to BTC China - ooooo 0% trading fees --- ooooo"

When they arrive, they are robbed, beaten and left for dead.  And the screen is turned off.

This is China fellas.  No facebook, no reddit.  0% trading fees will soon be made -1% trading fees and you will get paid to trade!  Then in one swift click of a button your coins will be seized by the Chinese Government and the Lee brothers will vanish - * POOF *

You have already seen the $200+ price positive on Gox, for a bankrupt institution that everyone was familiar with yet the price was a net gainer amongst exchanges, not a loser....backwards.  So is China BTC's 0% trading fee.  Man BTC is never going to make it until we get rid of the mindless lemmings.

Uh Oh I started a trend in the glow in the dark condoms.  LOL  Grin
Hmm I will have to entice the wife to find out tomorrow night.  She is sleeping now and I beating of the not fun kind would ensue if I woke her up to answer that question.
You should try them under a black light and tell us what they look like.
That could be a good project don't you think?

Did my question kill the thread?

Because it was funny like when wearing glow in the dark condom.  LOL
Could be worse don't you agree?

what is so funny about that?

No
Everyone was too busy playing with their glow in the dark condoms.   Cheesy
What happens to those in a black light?
