1401  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Platforms Where You Get The Same Level Of Enjoyment Like You Do In Gambling on: November 27, 2023, 07:35:54 AM
You treat gambling as a place for entertainment and you enjoy every minute of it, but your family tells you to stop gambling for a week and challenges you to check other platforms for the same level of enjoyment that you experience in gambling.

So what will it be for you?

Mine is having a long ride on my motorcycle I feel it's refreshing and enjoyable, especially when I take on zigzag roads.
I'm a responsible rider and advocate of safe riding and if I'm not gambling online I love to take a long ride I have the same enjoyment doing both.

The only other activity or platform where I am having at least the same amount of fun if not more is when I am building networks on the GNS3 network emulator.I like creating different labs there as I also teach some students CCNA classes and that is my favorite tool,of course this is after having fun and enjoying good moments with my family, then last but not least comes gambling where I enjoy slot machines even when I am losing the hell out of money there still the enjoyment of what to expect from the free spins or bonus round is huge.
1402  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 27, 2023, 07:19:28 AM
Well I am sorry to see Lyon most likely going to be relegated this season as they are not showing anything against any team be it weak or strong one, they are collecting losing games one after another and I am sorry to see such a big name of the French soccer to most likely go to Ligue 2 next season,I never expected this at the beginning of the season.

I know every team has the up and downs during their history but it is just sad to see such team that has been doing even great in Champions League not so many years ago being in such state right now,I hope they are not relegated although I know they will be.
1403  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling all about luck? on: November 26, 2023, 09:28:52 PM
Imo gambling is 50/50 about luck, and other 50 goes to money. I have stated for myself that people gamble for two reasons, to test their luck and to earn some money. I saw people say that gambling is about having fun, I even myself have thought like that. But lately, when I started to feel pressure or be nervous after placing a bet, then it does not looks like having fun. However, I cant say that being lucky is enough to be good at gambling. Can we say that in gambling luck=random? As gambling is full of random occasions.

You can be as skillful as you want, have enough money,or better as much money as you want and if you have not luck after you then you are going to lose all this money. As long as we have luck we can make money work for us.In gambling if you have luck you can hit some multi/parlay tickets that you can't without luck, the same for slot machines,if you have the luck behind you then you can hit that max win which is extremely difficult to do without luck.So this brings us to the conclusion that gambling without luck you will lose 100% of the times that you play while when you play with luck in your side you will win every time that luck is with you. Conclusion,in gambling luck is absolutely ALL.
1404  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Many Bets to Know How Good Enough You Are? on: November 26, 2023, 09:16:50 PM
As a gambler, how many bets do you think  you need to place to give you a true idea of how good you are? Anyone can hit 60% in the short term. But for example in betting I am hitting between 55-60% depending on the sport after around 450 - 500 bets. Assuming I want to go pro on betting, do you think that this is good enough or do I wait and see what my percentage is after 800 - 900 bets before making a decision?

For me it needs to have about 500 bets and that is enough to give you a rough idea of how good you are. However let me tell you that hitting frequency of 55-60% is really low unless you are playing with odds of 2.5 and above,if you play with odds less than 2 you need to have a hit frequency of at least 70-80% percent.

However good luck hitting 80% hit frequency within 500 bets as if you have it you are a great pro in the sport betting and I think most people will agree,I personally copy other people bets most of the time as I have no time to create my own bets.
1405  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Easy with unusual/strange gambling sites on: November 26, 2023, 08:59:53 PM
I tend to stick with known games and casinos. By choosing a relatively unknown game, or a new casino, you're putting yourself at a disadvantage, much like a video game player who starts a new game or a driver who sits in a new car for the first time. As a gamer, you won't jump into a ranked game on your first day because you need to get to now the game. As a driver, you won't go to a race in a new car because you have to do some casual miles first and get comfy. In a new game or a new casino, you're thrown into the fire. Why wouldn't you rather play what you know?
For me to move to a new game or a new spot they'd have to make it worth my time.

I agree. As long as I am happy in the casino where I play and that casino satisfies all of my desires with having instant withdrawals, huge amount of slot games, sport betting sport book, giving weekly and monthly bonuses no matter how many ads I see through my surfing in the net I would have 0 motivation to go and register to such site.

Why should I go to a new site when the old one is giving me everything I need?I see no point in doing so unless the bonuses are better and even so I have to wait to see some good reviews before jumping on board,it is all against me in theory so I stick to my preferred websites.
1406  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you guys believe in other people luck and try to copy them? on: November 26, 2023, 08:43:16 PM
I am posting a near winning ticket that I copied and in here you can see 17 games, personally I have nor the desire nor the time to sit down and choose 17 games to put in a multi parlay ticket so I choose the shortest route, anything can happen despite this ticket having real chances to be a winner and I am only posting here to tell you guys that most of the time copying other bets while also checking real fast the teams as the odds surely are there to deceive us and that is why I am sharing this with you here,I have other winning tickets to share but let's hope this comes in.

1407  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greek 2023–24 Super League Predictions & Discussion on: November 26, 2023, 08:05:02 PM
I did take those odds in a parlay and so far Aris is winning 1-0 with just about half an hour to play, based on how the Greek Super League is I doubt Panathinaikos will be able to respond back. This game brought me back sad memories when I had bet a lot of money on Panathinaikos playing at home against AEK and they were leading 1-0 and then got to lose the game, strange happening although that game is a derby and any result is acceptable.

Nevertheless I must say that most of the games from this league come as expected especially when big guys are playing against weak or average teams,so even if I lose that bet I am not caring that much.

What a disaster for Martin.
He threw his chance of winning it.

Was a mission impossible thing for him today but losing this way it will hurts him

I think he will get it over it as soon as he goes to Honda and will forget about this season,he was there from the middle of the season as up until 6-7 races I remember Bezzechi being a title contender and after then it went all downhill for him.Sure most likely Martin will think about what would have happened if he would have not crashed but most likely he would still lose the title this season because as I said at least from what I remember he was not there from the beginning,or it was last season that Bezzechi was fighting and winning a race,I am sure it was this season and that my memory does not fail me,yeah it was in Argentina early on that he won.
1409  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: November 26, 2023, 07:08:50 PM
what a goal by Garnacho
it was a masterpiece, try to look for it, if you didn't watch, although it will probably be on all highlights, so you will not miss it

and it has put an Everton to additional pressure on start, that resulted with high win for United
onwards to relegation fight, hopefully there will be enough points to clear deduction

Absolutely and to watch Everton playing tonight was embarrassing to say the least,to me it looked like they were a team from Championship and not a team from Premier League.I don't know if Manchester United is such a great team but surely against such Everton they totally dominated the game and scored three goals easily. At least one game come as expected tonight as even if Manchester United would have not won I would not be surprised at all as after all we are in the Premier League here and surprise are the standards here.

Everton is in deep shit right now and they need to change their game as if they play like this at home again I am going to be always against them and make some good money.
1410  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 26, 2023, 06:43:06 PM
I most likely should not believe much a team that is led by a very controversial figure like Mourinho despite his successful career as a coach because the goal that they conceded was truly truly ridiculous and I doubt they are going to win tonight against Udinese which away from home have only 1 lost game 4 draws (five together with this one) and one win, pretty impressive stats for when playing away.

I am idiot enough to place a Roma win in all my tickets as all the prediction websites was pointing toward this and I put quite some bets including Roma that is ruining all of them now,in 10 minutes I highly doubt they can win, they would be great if they keep the draw from what I am seeing,oh shit they just scored yeah.
1411  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why the rich win gambling more than the poor. on: November 26, 2023, 06:08:13 PM
I have observed that the rich, I mean those who are financially comfortable, win more in gambling than the poor. By poor, I mean those who do not have enough to meet all their needs. I don't know the reason for this. Could it be that the rich understand financial management more? Or could it be that the rich are less desperate to win which make them make better gambling decision? I really want to know the reason for this pattern I have observed.

That is easy to come as a conclusion and it is pretty simple, you say it yourself, meaning that people who don't meet end needs usually gamble very little money compared to those financially comfortable who have more money can play longer and we all know the unwritten rule for gambling, the longer you play the longer your chances of winning it big.

Based on this I am not surprised at all by this statement which is totally correct, the rich can win more than the poor for that simple fact that they can play longer than the poor,as easy as that, there it has nothing to do with luck at all, simple statistical and probability favoring those who can play more.

Do we know when the final Superbru leaderboard will be updated precisely?
I'm happy to finish in the top 10, but TBH I would be a little bit disappointed to not have been able to earn one single spot since last week (8th/256pts) while accomplishing my second biggest score of the season today(15.5pts).
I've sent my address to CLS63 btw. Congrats to the unofficial winners, meanwhile.

Usually somewhat between night time and morning time of tomorrow European time is where the F1 pool updates and I think someone should tell Superbru that we are as important as football pools so they need to update it as soon as they do the football pools which they update maximum 1 hour after the game have finished.

Of course you would be a bit disappointed as in this last race everybody did great in this last race so everybody thought thoroughly to play it safe and not go for alternative picks which in the end paid out for everyone.
1413  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 26, 2023, 05:23:40 PM
Tottenham Hotspur has really been exposed this season they started off hot and many would have thought they would be a contender for the English premier league title but with their recent matches they have not leaved up to the expectations.
Aston Villa on the other hand are a strong side and they showed it today after going down from an early goal they came back to be winning, I think Aston Villa would go home with all three points.

I think something is really not ok with the Tottenham Hotspur team but I feel it is the management that can give a better explanation of what is going on in the team. Tottenham Hotspur is well known to be a team that always starts well either at the beginning of the season but when they get to the middle of the season they always drop points to extend that they don't get to be among the top4 team in the Premier league but coming to this season when their hitman Harry Kane left the club to Bayern Munich they started the season so well and it all appears that they are going to end the season well but I can't believe that they will suddenly begin to drop points that they even lose matches even when they played good football the coach needs to be questioned cause they can't continue to drop points every week.

For Aston villa team, I think they are not doing very bad this season but looking at their performance today against Tottenham Hotspur I never saw this big win for the from away but kudos to them as they were able to utilize their opportunity to get a 1:2 victory from away.
That's how Tottenham is every season. starting the campaign as if they could create an unbeaten record throughout the season, it turns out they were beaten by Aston Villa at home. I think the most basic factor in their defeat was player injuries, apart from that I just saw that Aston had better luck. Ange needs to understand that to create consistency every week in the EPL, you must have a balanced squad depth, between supporting players and players in the main squad, the january transfer window could be a good solution to improve.

The future is really tough for Ange and his squad as they face Manchester City at the Etihad, it will definitely be very difficult to start winning after two consecutive defeats. I think Tottenham will drop in ranking again next week, because City definitely has the ambition to secure full points after being forced to draw by Liverpool. This is a very difficult period, a huge challenge and a lot of pressure for Tottenham.

Things are getting extremely complicated for Tottenham considering that Manchester City left points at home against Liverpool and as such they will be eager to beat anyone in their way and in their way next week will be exactly Tottenham which if they find in a bad day they are going to win with a tennis result.

If indeed Tottenham wins this game too then good luck to them to recover psychologically which is be the most difficult thing to do after such happenings, meanwhile their ranking keeps going down dramatically in these recent games and things doesn't look bright for them in the future either.

My address is correct I can confirm it and you are doing a great job in already creating a spreadsheet for the winners,I am sure as soon as maximum of tonight most probably all the people who won a prize will send you their address,it is a sure thing as from this last race I saw an increased interest and also people tried their best to maximize their chances of getting a prize spot.Based on this last race though very little things changed and I guess that is the most fair it could have happened in this race as most people got near the same amount of points, much different than everybody including me thought of this race to be.
1415  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: November 26, 2023, 04:26:54 PM
So what is happening with Tottenham going from bad to worse in these last games,I did bet on them as the odd of 2.47 for them when playing at home and based on what they have done during this season seemed logical to me,I didn't expect Aston Villa to fight back and win the game after being in disadvantage.

We started this Sunday with a surprise result I would call it and we have to wait for Manchester United game which has the same odd of 2.50-2.55 and looking a very inviting one,I also have them to win and hopefully they don't screw it up like Tottenham did.

Well, it's all over gents. Superbru is massively turtle-like with updating the leaderboard as usual, but I see MoSala just a fraction off ILuckyGuyI, which should see him safely retain his position. May I be the first to offer him a congratulatory "well done, bastard"?

I'm okay with my 14.5 points. Should be okay to at least keep my spot around 6th place.

I'll come back tomorrow and see things properly.

I thought to have ousted both 3rd and 4th place but the stewards with that totally undeserved penalty against Perez made me lose both positions and be happy with the position I have kept most of this season at 5th,which is still a good prize at 0.005 Bitcoin which I think is a fair price for me.Both 3rd and 4th place have retained their places and nothing have changed in the top 6 I believe as I was just checking the prizes, well except maybe the 6th prize has been exchanged between those 2 participants fighting for it.

Congrats to all winners especially the top guys and I am happy to be winning for a second consecutive season in this pool.
1417  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 26, 2023, 02:56:48 PM
Nice is continuing to win games at 1-0 results not at all convincing as results but yet they are there, just there at 1 point distance compared to Paris leading the league. It may not be convincing yet they are getting the three points when needed and as long as they are there tailing Paris it means they can have a look at winning the French Ligue 1 if Paris happens to make some mistakes in the future.I don't think in the direct game Nice to be in advantage so they should be looking to maximize their chances whenever Paris makes a mistake and they need to be there,to not make mistakes so they can hope for the best.

The decision has been made Bagnaia is double world champion, unfortunately decided by a crash, but Bagnaia is now fixed world champion, no matter what happens.

Congratulations to Bagnaia and also to Martin for being vice world champion.

Congratulations to Bagnaia for this season and congratulations to Martin who I think will be joining Honda next year and for me despite many being contrary to that move I agree with him as I believe Honda had enough of not winning Championships in the MotoGP and will be fighting hard to come back next season so hopefully we will see great action during next season.

As for the title being decided by a crash anything can happen in this sport, persons have even died so I am not surprised that the title is decided by a crash.

I'm going to make a bold prediction!

Leclerc to win the race and gather 1st position in the first couple of laps.

Piastri to finish second and consolidate McLaren even further and also a nice way to end the year as a rookie.

Max to not finish the race....a bit of karma for him for 2021 end of the season would be nice and fair.

During the first lap I thought that your prediction come true but once Verstappen got rid of that Leclerc threat I doubt we will see any other winner now except Verstappen if we race under normal conditions, only race changing conditions or some problem can make Verstappen getting out of the race.

Meanwhile the DRS is making the tires going to degrade very faster and Russell complaining already in 6 laps, this race looks like it is going to be a boring one and people are already in the box.I think a Safety Car would change a lot here but highly unlikely from what I see so far.

Can anyone show me the link to Rollbit promo? I looked in Games and Rounds and only found the link to Gameday 4.

Forgot to put my bets down last round but I'm getting my bets ready for Barca. I know things look bad for them but I'm confident they can wrap up as group winners this coming week. They have to!!

Putting picks in tomorrow. Watch out Hhampuz lol

I don't suggest you go against Barca when they play at home as a Spanish guy that you are you should know it pretty well  Grin as no matter how bad they may be when they are playing at home they can crush anyone and especially a team like Porto which is not in the best of their performances despite them being high in their domestic league.

Anyway if you feel like it go for it,I want as many people to see with 0 points in the Pot B as the bigger the amount of the people going for extreme bets the higher the chances for us who will be trying to find normally odd games  Grin.
