A really difficult night for Real Madrid yesterday night but the fact that they showed great resilience against a team that in the first half only kept attacking and it was near scoring goals quite a few time I think that shows that Real is Real and in the end they get the three points,very important three points for their title fight.

I think that the factor that made Verstappen where he is today was not just the car, even if that was one of the important factors, but the confidence he has and the skills he has. Perez got the same car as Verstappen but why can't he match Verstappen? even the difference in their points was almost 1 times. So there are many skilled drivers in F1 but Verstappen is still above them. Of course it is the skill compared to Perez but Perez was always a mediocre driver,he even drove for McLaren when they were relatively well meaning that they won a race with Heikki Kovalainen and Perez could not deliver that much even there,that for me was enough to judge this driver as not some of the very skillful ones,just an average or maybe just a bit over the average driver but nothing special about him. Max is in a complete different league,the crashes that he made showed his burning desire to win races even when he was young and inexperienced.So the car is a big factor but only when you have it run by a very skillful driver. |

I would like to take into consideration four levels of contribution in a match by a star player, and hope to see from everyone's opinion how their contribution would go to affect the outcome, odds of a game and the bet after the game is concluded. These four levels include:
*playing part of a match,
*playing a full match,
*being substituted out and
*being substituted in.
No star player is agreeably just a placebo effect on any team, and unlike Ronaldo and Messi who have influenced their new teams to attain new feats, they are expected to perform excellent service in the positions they are signed for and nothing less of that.
My question is simple, do star players really affect the odds of a bet, or wager or stake on a match, putting into consideration the four levels of contribution in a match, as I mentioned earlier?
I would say absolutely and Messi and Ronaldo are the most crystal clear example of such thing.Of course there are other star players who can make a difference and these maybe not so well known but yet still super star for the teams where they play.I will make an example of many many years ago of Wagner Love a Brazilian attacker of CSKA Moscow who used to score goals even against strong teams in Champions League and back at that time the title in Russia was not something disputable,CSKA used to win it almost every year at the time of this player,so yes they definitely impact the odds. |
