1401  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin or Ethereum on: December 07, 2017, 02:40:33 PM
I hold both coins in my portfolio. Around 35 % Bitcoin, 25 % Etherium und 40 % in a lot of other altcoins to have a perfect mix.
Don't forget to have an eye on ETH. I'm sure this will go really high in 3-4 years. May be in percentage higher as Bitcoin.

Yes I would like to buy some ethereum right now but my problem is I do not know where to buy some. Sorry but my real focus is to bitcoin.  It is all because we see a great future with it.  Its price is really high and if only I could earn more bitcoin then I must probably have a good future ahead and also my family.
1402  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 07, 2017, 02:34:05 PM
Of course to earn profit. If we just keep the bitcoin we never know how long it will last. Anyway don't want to take a high risk. and then we never know what our government policy if they want they could to contain us from bitcoin.

Definitely.  Majority of us who are here because we wanted to have an earning.  I was able to have an additional income because of bitcoin.  And everytime that I need the money or I reached certain amount where I have to buy things for my family, I will sell all my bitcoins to have money.  So yes, basically we sell our bitcoins because we needs it.
1403  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: December 06, 2017, 03:49:57 PM
I learned about bitcoin when I was looking for ways to earn an extra income.  My salary from my job is not enough to cover all the expenses I have.  So after joining here and there, a friend told me about bitcoin.  I was hesitant but my friend is patient with me.  She told me everything she knows about bitcoin.
1404  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is It advisable to quit my present job for bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 12:30:53 PM
I think you can if the amount of money you get from Bitcoin everymonth is better than the amount of money you get from salary from your job. Beside you can when you get enough knowledge about Bitcoin Smiley. It's my opinion Cheesy

Yes it is true.  Plus if you have the sure ways to earn bitcoin as in they are stable you can quit.  But as of me, I will not because I can do earning bitcoin on my past time.  As to the ways to earn bitcoin I only knew little so I would not quit my job.  Actually the earnings I get from bitcoin is much higher compared to the salary I got.
1405  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: December 06, 2017, 12:28:24 PM
No, holding bitcoin is a perfect strategy for me because I can exchange it if i'm satisfy with the value of it, or holding it till there some emergency purposes

It is true.  Holding bitcoin does not mean that we are greedy.  It is just the same as having our money or putting our money in the bank right?  And we are not called greedy if we save our money.  And because of the efforts we exerted, it is just right to keep our bitcoin so as to secure our future.  Having bitcoin and holding them is sort of securing it for the future of our family.  For them to live a comfortable life.
1406  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is BTC for you? on: December 06, 2017, 12:25:18 PM
Bitcoin for me is an extra income for everyday life and for my future, because bitcoin is very useful for its users. and bitcoin has also changed my life for the better, before getting to know bitcoin. My life is very difficult, thanks to her my life becomes more beautiful

Most of the people who are into bitcoin wanted to have a good income.  I have the same situation as you before.  My salary would not do that much with my daily expenses.  I am tired of it.  I do not want to worry about my finances.  I looked for an additional income and this is what I got.  Thanks to a friend of mind who persisted and insisted me to do and try bitcoin.  Bitcoin is my hero.  It makes my life easier for me.
1407  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Criminality and Bitcoin on: December 06, 2017, 12:18:24 PM
This is true. Criminals can now buy and do evil stuff freely because no one can knew their identity. And this is one of the thing that I can see as an advantage of using Bitcoin.

Criminals can still do whatever they want.  Even before that bitcoin was not yet created, criminals and their evil doings still executed.  They can do these things if they really want all for the sake of money.  But it is much easy for them to do these things because bitcoin does not need any information coming from its client.  So doing criminality is easy.
1408  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin - Who missed the boat ? on: December 06, 2017, 12:13:38 PM
My friend told me about Btc when it was less that $90 per coin. It was in it's infancy and it was pretty much unknown. I was nervous about putting my hard earned cash in to it so shied away. Boy has it haunted me LOL

Anyone else have this non buyers remorse ?

I feel you.  I got to know bitcoin but it is like $500 before.  I do not have that money to invest plus just like you, I do not want to put my hardearned money just to put in an investment which I do not know totally and which is not known to many.  I even stopped using bitcoin and I just used bitcoin before to just buy load for my cellphone.  Now I really regret those days.  I should have kept my bitcoin and probably I am kind of financially stable right now.
1409  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how safe is bitcoin to use with phone on: December 06, 2017, 12:10:55 PM
So eventually bitcoin is gonna have to compete with credit cards and mobile payments. To do this people will need to have a bitcoin mobile app.

I know there are the lightweight wallet mobile apps. Are those any safe? Will those be the future. Or will the future be having a hosted service where the company has control over your bitcoin and you can just send them to pay with stuff with the mobile app? Like Square recent integration of Bitcoin.

I don't know what options are out there now. But it would seem to me that having a secure offline savings account coupled with a hosted mobile bitcoin service (checking account) for payments would make sense. I mean I guess obviously if you're making payments you can't have everything in cold storage so some compromises on security must be made.

Currently I am using an online wallet and they have an application installed on my cellphone.  As of the moment I have never encountered any untoward incident about it.  It is safe since there is a 2FA.  And the security of our bitcoins stored on this wallet is in our hands.  We should be careful on signing in and logging in on website that we do not know.  We should not give information on some investment site that might steal our bitcoins.
1410  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when you try to explain people about cryptocurrency do they understand? on: December 06, 2017, 12:08:30 PM
They would not really care about the bitcoins, They only like to know more about how much many they can get on bitcoins because that's the only reason why bitcoins is popular. It is because of its value that is keep on increasing day by day.

That is true.  People now knew bitcoin but that is just knowing bitcoin to be having a large value.  But as to the origin or abouts of bitcoin, they are not really into it and they do not care what it is.  Just like what you said, they only care about the price and the money they can get when they earn or invest with bitcoin.  But there are still other people who does not know or any idea about cryptocurrency.
1411  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day? on: December 06, 2017, 12:06:17 PM
Do you think Bitcoin will crash one day?

Perhaps and I do not know what should I do if it collapsed.  Maybe yes it will and hopefully it will never happen.  I just have a financial freedom a little and I worried less after I knew and used bitcoin.  It is a big help for me as it gives me an additional income.  I was able to buy things that I was not able to buy before because my salary is just enough for my expenses.
1412  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is now $13k, what's next? on: December 06, 2017, 11:53:07 AM
I am hoping that it will reached as high as $15k before this year ends.  Pretty sure that it will increase considering that many people during this month have many money.  They have many bonus and as a result they would like to invest their money into different investments.  We knew bitcoin and it is making the name.  Therefore many for sure will buy bitcoin and its price will increase.
1413  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bit coin hit $12500. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin? on: December 06, 2017, 11:45:42 AM
I have a $1200. I want to invest in bitcoin  Undecided. Is this the time to invest in Bitcoin or should i wait until BTC down?

So because the bitcoin price reached this amount, now you are willing to invest in bitcoin.  Time is so precious if you invest that amount when bitcoin price already reached $10000, you must have invested right away.  Nonetheless, you have to invest right now because we think that its price would goes up and that money of yours will increased and have a great profit.
1414  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: December 05, 2017, 01:46:57 PM
yes i want to become a rich and there is only one way for so that i can fulfill my this dream , which is bitcoin. I will make myself rich with with working hard with bitcoin and keeping it continuous. in fact this is the short way to become a rich in the near future. and i am trying to be a rich and i ma working hard with bitcoin
Same as you, I want to become rich someday, one of the main reason why I want to because rich is my family. I want to help my family to sustain their daily needs and give them what the want. Money is very important nowadays in order to survive. Most of our time are focus on earning money and searching for a stable job with sufficient income to sustain our daily expenses. Earning money through bitcoin could be the that we all wanted. There are lots of job opportunities out there but it's different when it comes to the cryptocurrency so let's grab those opportunities and become rich someday.

I guess we all have the same reason.  We want to have a lot of money, we want to be rich.  And we are doing our bst and working hard because of our family.  We wanted to give them a good future and to live a comfortable life.
1415  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the future of Bitcoin ? on: December 05, 2017, 11:56:29 AM
I think bitcoin will continue to increase its value. that is a good thing. but what will happen in the future we also do not know yet. whether bitcoin will continue to survive amid government issues that start worrying about bitcoin?
we just wait and pray the best

Yes that is what I am also thinking.  Bitcoin will continuously have a rise in its price.  It would be because of its performance attracting investors around the world.  If it continue to rise its price, it will generate more millionaires and will help a lot of people.  It will uplift the status of the lives of people who are using bitcoin.  It will make the plans or goals of many people to become possible.  There is no doubt that bitcoin can do it.
1416  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: You want to be a millionaire? if you own 0.01 btc you already are on: December 05, 2017, 11:52:35 AM
I hope so! If that happens then I will be already a multi millionare right now! I will quit my regular job, travel around the world and invest in a business. but it is just a what if. Lets say that It might happen, but it wilk be a long time, I may be already dead that time and I will just give my 2allet to my grand son so he can benufit from it!😅

Yes, it would happen but it would take a long time.  Just like you if I will have that amount and by that price I will become millionaire then I would also travel the world.  I would buy things that I cannot buy and live a comfortable life together with my family.  I will continue to earn more bitcoin and I will also help other people to have an extra income.  Helping other people will surely make at least their lives easy.
1417  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why people sell bitcoins? on: December 05, 2017, 11:45:06 AM
The price of Bitcoin can go down anytime, so people sell them to get income and avoid to lose their money...
If I have alot of bitcoin, I will sell too Roll Eyes

Mainly because we are all here for one purpose, to have money.  And having money, and a lot of money means we are rich.  So if I want to sell my bitcoin, it falls into that we need money, urgent money.  Because we all do these things, investing, trading, earning, and mining to earn bitcoin and to exchange it to currency, to money.  Some sell their bitcoins even if the price is high because they need it.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain bitcoin to teenagers or children on: December 05, 2017, 11:42:03 AM
Kids will have a hard time understanding Bitcoin so we must explain or introduce to them when they are old enough to understand it is better to explain this to teenagers because they have already the guts and the knowledge to join Bitcoin.

I totally agree with you.  Most of the teenagers right now whom I know were into bitcoins.  They use their income with bitcoin to sustain or financed their studies.  It gives a real income to everyone because of its price and value.  As to teaching it to kids, maybe we will just wasting our time considering that kids are not interested on these things.  They are much interested into playing and looking to its surroundings.
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: December 05, 2017, 11:37:00 AM
When I first started bitcoin I really had no idea, totally clueless about whats going on, how can I earn, what is bitcoin and I literally ask my friend about everything I do. And I began to annoy them literally. So I do research alone watch youtube videos, google what is cryptocurrency, google everything I need to know. and little by little i'm starting to had an idea what is happening. right now I will carved my way by replying in bitcoin discussion just gaining more knowledge and acitvities.

Indeed you will find all the answers to your questions here.  I likewise have the same situation of you and everyone can relate to you.  Understanding bitcoin and digital currency is such a hard thing to do.  It seems to complicated with me as I do not have any knowledge with it.  All I know that it has value and it can give us real money.  Then after I involved myself with bitcoin, I was scammed because I really wanted to have many bitcoin.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: regret by not believing in BITCOIN? on: December 05, 2017, 11:31:31 AM
This is one of my biggest regrets before and whenever my surroundings got quiet, I always suddenly compute how much money should I have by now and it always made me really down because if only I was not overprotective with my "small" savings, then I am now one of the people here who would share my success. Though it won't ever make me give up to still work for bitcoin today because i believe it is never too late for me to get involved.

I also have the same thinking.  If only I knew bitcoin much earlier and saved all my earned bitcoin then I must be rich by now.  I do not need to work hard on my job which gives me the same income even if I do good or not.  To think that its price is less than a dollar before and now it could make you rich on its current amount.  But just like you, I will continue to work for bitcoin as I believe that we can still become rich with it.
