1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Creator: Interest in ETC ‘Coming from the Bitcoin Side’ on: July 29, 2016, 03:24:25 AM
The cryptocurrency community has been reeling from the Ethereum hard fork as the Ethereum Classic (ETC) token has gained momentum with mining, users and major exchanges enabling its trading. Meanwhile, Ethereum founder Vitalik Buterin believes that interest in this minority chain token is “actually coming from the Bitcoin side.”

https://news.bitcoin.com/ethereum-creator-interest-etc-bitcoin/

what he fails to undestand is that he did a wrong thing and he doesn't want to accept it. forking your coin just because you and your whales have lost money is wrong especially when you don't have everybody on board this happens.

although it seems like the real whales don't care about these things they do their pump and dump and now they have two coins to do the pump and dump in Cheesy
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe that win in gambling is depending on your luck ? on: July 29, 2016, 03:20:49 AM
I always bet on sports gambling, and I thought, yeah it really depends on luck, sometimes big team can be defeated by a small team.
but if I play in the casino, I'm not sure it depends on luck, but I could have cheated.

There is no different between sport gambling or casino gambling because all gambling is just the same that is sure need some luck to get some good profit. And I dont think that it will that easy to cheat on particular casino. May be you are a good at coding you could have cheated on particular site but to cheat on casino I dont think that will be easy

i don't know whay you have in mind when you say casino gambling but there are a lot of differences between the different types of gambling. and winning is not about cheating to win but instead having skills, information and experience in some games will help you win. for example in a sports betting game you should know the game and the players and if you have a good experience in this game you an win a lot easier.
so if you actually try out different games you can see what i mean.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The House always wins. on: July 29, 2016, 03:15:46 AM
this is one of the most obvious things in gambling, the house has the edge and that is always true. otherwise they will start losing money and in case of losing they would have to close down their site and stop their business. and you know every business is only open to make the owner profit. also i don't get why people insist on playing at FreeBitCo.in just use a normal dice site like PD
1424  Other / Off-topic / Re: What value does Bitcoin bring to you? on: July 29, 2016, 03:12:25 AM
the ability to be my own bank, this is the most valuable thing that bitcoin has brought to me so far.
also on top of every good feature bitcoin has, knowing bitcoin has helped me earn a lot more money that i could not earn before knowing bitcoin online.
1425  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is for criminals - Or so they say. on: July 29, 2016, 03:08:02 AM
If prefer, of course criminals will prefer btc. But for purpose, btc purpose is not for criminal. Its for everyone, why they blame btc for that illegal thing. Fiat also use in illegal then why didnt bame fiat as well. Its for everyone and can be use both by criminals and not.

actually the criminals prefer USD a lot more than they prefer using bitcoin. because they are not tech savy at all and like any other average joe have no idea how to use bitcoin so they don't and they continue sticking with fiat.
1426  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase now supports Etherium; Is this a threat to Bitcoin dominance on: July 27, 2016, 04:42:46 PM
Why is it Bitcoin's silver? I'm not dissing it. I wish Bitcoin functioned more like it. But I find it more likely that the long term runner up would be a radically different proposition, not a clone with some nifty tweaks.

i said this because litecoin has been around for a long time and despite being similar to bitcoin it has some differences too which sets it apart. and i agree that a runner up can be a complete different thing, but something like ethereum can never be the number 2 or even in the 10 top in long term in my opinion because it lacks certain attributes like decentralization or even a good developer.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Gambling is Fun? on: July 27, 2016, 04:32:54 PM
it is all in the risk + money that you can make from it. and both of them gives you the joy (fun) that you have heard others talk about.

the risk that you take alone is satisfying for a lot of people if they are thrill seekers and the money or profit that you make from gambling is joyful for everybody.
1428  Other / Archival / Re: Gambling sites on: July 27, 2016, 04:27:07 PM
just check out this board and find those old casino/gambling sites with the old topics and add them to your site and try to add more reviews from your own perspective to the list.

also a free domain name is never good, investing a little bit of money is so much better than having .wix.com
1429  Economy / Speculation / Re: If bitcoin dropped to $1, what you do? on: July 27, 2016, 04:24:08 PM
I will buy a lot of coins cause if bitcoin increase price even on 1$ more, i will get easiest profit ever, bitcoin is always recovering after this price drops.
Many of us said that they will buy alot of bitcoins if bitcoin price ever reaches 1$ and all these users and users all around the world would do the same.So a lot of demand to buy bitcoins all over the world then obviously bitcoin price will grow up again quickly. So who just able to do it in time can achieve a lot profit.
Oh but thats all depend on if,which i dont think never going to happen.

people are going to start buying bitcoin long before it even gets close to that idiotic price. even if price goes down to $599 people are going to flood exchanges with fiat to buy bitcoin before missing out and that is what they call resistance.
1430  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase now supports Etherium; Is this a threat to Bitcoin dominance on: July 27, 2016, 04:15:50 PM
Eth has assumed ltc place and is currently the silver crypto,

I find the use of the word 'currently' rather telling. Silver will always be silver. Who knows what the next jumble of code will be that gives pumpers a boner?
Probably the next 6 months.

Besides the silver to bitcoin is litecoin.

i agree, the second place is always going to be litecoin and it doesn't matter what coin "temporarity" creates some hype because of the pump and dump and goes above it, litecoin is still huge because it could survive this long and still being developed
1431  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you use multiple Bitcoin Wallets to store your Bitcoins? on: July 26, 2016, 03:00:55 PM
in my opinion every person who is holding more than at least 0.5BTC should have at least two wallets.

1) a wallet for storing the coins that you want to keep and don't touch AKA cold storage, which can be a peper wallet.

2) a hot wallet for using/spending bitcoin for example if you want to buy something with it or use it for gambling,...
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: “RISK” - Motivating factor rather than a Prevention factor in Gambling? on: July 26, 2016, 02:55:06 PM
i think yes and no so i voted for "Somehow Motivating"

it is not the risk that is playing a role in gambling but instead the reward that you get from that risk (or better say you might get).
as you know the higher risks bring bigger reward too. that is why sometimes you see people play a 999x on dice sites because the reward of playing with this huge risk is also huge even with a small amount that you get from a faucet.
1433  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH/ETC Madness: Good time to refill Alt bags? on: July 26, 2016, 02:50:27 PM
Holy Fuck.

As a uninvolved bystander, I am astonished (and mildly entertained) by one of the most epic battles in altcoin history being fought right now. There's blood everywhere, sooooo much red, nearly every coin affected.

This looks like a good opportunity to buy alts, doesn't it? I'm not even sure how much of a role it plays, which coin you buy exactly.

Too bad I was impatient and didn't pay much attention to ETH overall. Not because I'd wish I had bought some ETC yesterday (well…), but because of how strongly it influences other alts prices and how cheap I could buy my favourite flavour of altcoin right now…

i didn't buy ETC yesterday either so i am sad but i don't regret my decision because if i go back in time i would make the same decision again because it is super risky to get involved with anything ethereum related right now they are killing each other and there are hundreds of millions of dollars belonging to whales are involved which can shift to one of these two and kill the other if the whales desire.

and as for buying other alts, yeah i agree i saw some alts like LISk take a dive today which i think is a good time to get in for a profit.
1434  Economy / Gambling / Re: PrimeDice PD3 vs PD4 Showdown! Poll - Which do you prefer? on: July 26, 2016, 02:45:56 PM
the new version looks cool but i personally still prefer the old one mosly because of the simplicity of it. i don't like the distracting graphics in dice sites, the complicated graphics is better for casinos not a dice site. also i feel like the new version is a little bit slower.
1435  Economy / Speculation / Re: Time to sell? Or to buy? on: July 26, 2016, 02:41:16 PM
many people were thinking that after halving the price of bicoin will decrease to a low level. but as we can see that the price is so much stable. so i think it is still accepted that the price will increase more. so i think it is still good time to buy bitcoin.

that decrease that you have heard, has already happened. it was the drop from $780 to lowe $690 and that was the only dump that happened around halving day and ever since that day the price has been stable with only a $20 fluctuation in the past month. and despite all the efforts whales put in, the price could not go anywhere lower than this.
1436  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans too risky? on: July 26, 2016, 02:37:03 PM
Loans are too risky if you ask for huge amount which you can't affors to repay back, or if you give loan without getting a valid collateral. Otherwise i don't think it's risky way
I think if we are a borrower and lender will extend a loan to us without any collateral then that would be in our advantage. As much as possible we should pay the amount due to have our reputation maintain in this forum, it is not easy to build such reputation and we are just going to risk for a small loan.
You are in part right. Deposit may be. But it should not be too large. Otherwise, the credit does not make sense. It is possible and without any collateral at all. It was the same time when it was valued word of an honest man. Why now, we have ceased to trust people? Of course, it all depends on the amount. Not everyone decide without insurance, or give someone money. But why not start small?

nobody in his right mind will give you a loan without collateral maybe you can borrow a small amount of money from a relative and give it back later but that is not called a loan.
all banks will take some kind of collateral or some kind of assurance that if you didn't pay they can act on it to get their money+profit back.
1437  Economy / Speculation / Re: I'm dumping my bitcoins so you should on: July 26, 2016, 02:34:23 PM
is there another big rise on the way?

because whenever i see these negative topics being bumped and also the known FUDsters start new topics like today, there is always a big rise happening shortly after because they have been trying to fill their pocket with more BTC.
1438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin be replaced by another cryptocurrency? on: July 26, 2016, 02:30:48 PM
Does it make sense to believe that Bitcoin could one day be replaced by another cryptocurrency, that is, a cryptocurrency that really does make Bitcoin obsolete?

Yes. After 20-50 Years I think. Bitcoin will be dumped and new Altcoin will be used as a Bitcoin. There will be the time that if all the blocks are mined and all the Bitcoin is now on dumped, there is a possibility that new Cryptocurrency will be the Top 1 in the list. Ethereum is now on Top 2 and now, we observed that ETH is now on demand. Maybe next year or 2, ETH price will be doubled. But we don't know if that will be the prediction or not.

there is no reason for bitcoin to be dumped anytime this soon. even in 20-50 years. fiat has been around for hundreds of year and it has evolved ever since to match the new age and improve.
so since bitcoin is code and it is so easy to change it, even in the future there is no reason for it to go down, it will evolve and match the new world and the new technology.
also eth will be long dead by then lol
1439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Halvening! Can I buy Bitcoins at this high price? on: July 26, 2016, 02:22:03 PM
There is no price too high for this thing, it is still low based on talks that I have been exploring on this forum, I think we may see a spike for sure.

even if we don't exactly see a "spike" in price we will surely see an stable rise in the future so long term investment is so good at this point but you always have to consider the possibility of going down and watch the price.
1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Chinese Bitcoin exchanges on: July 24, 2016, 12:06:05 PM
This is funny given the fact that China owns large amount of bitcoin and at the same time they have the majority of mining farms that mine bitcoins. That simply means that if you use bitcoin you ate uplifting China.

your take on things is always funny to me!
i am not saying this is wrong or impossible, but you have to reason to say this because it is impossible to know which country owns more bitcoin. China has the biggest mining farms so they have the biggest hash rate in total but this has nothing to do with how much bitcoin their people/investors own.

Quote
But given this fact there are also virtual warfare that will be held online and that is bitcoin economy war. It will be participated by many countries and the winner gets to dictate the price of bitcoin.

this doesn't even makes sense to me. what the hell is virtual warfare and no country is fighting over bitcoin.

Quote
Right now China has a big advantage because they legalized it. But soon other countries will also rise in bitcoin economy so lets also get ready our wallets because price will soar up very high.

China has not yet legalized anything. it was Japan which claimed bitcoin as a real currency not China. they still have some struggles with bitcoin.
