1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you see? on: December 20, 2021, 11:02:49 AM
Or unlock the door for new entry investors.
But what does it really tells us? Bitcoin is volatile, and that's it. We cannot always expect for a bull just because we experienced it. It's like history is just repeating itself. Bitcoin went 20k at 2017 then a bear comes. After that, investors are expecting too much. It did happen but it just took time.
Patience is the key. Or, are we that in a rush because we are looking at altcoins getting their pumps at a short span while Bitcoin cannot? I'd rather take the long confident road.
1422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc ath february 2022 on: December 20, 2021, 07:06:26 AM
This better be in off-topic or if there's another sub which accepts wild imaginations and dreams.

It could be January or it could be February. Worse, it could be next December. But you didn't need to look like you are the most accurate prediction maker using background checks because there is no such thing as an exact date for Bitcoin to pump.
A regular Joe would dream about being friends with Wall Street guys? That sounds boring. This is your Christmas gift to us? Be better and send us 0.1BTC per member. That may sound cooler than your story of Ferraris and Lambos.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 19, 2021, 04:56:33 PM
I think what sets the Warriors apart from any other team is their team consistency and development. While star players of respective teams are expected to create and do some scoring, the whole bench of the Warriors also fulfill that role.

The best example that I could provide was the time Curry had an off-night. Though his FGs made/attempted were relatively bad, the bench did their respective jobs which managed them to snag the win.
That was Jordan Poole to be precise. Right? He did his job quite well on that moment that Steph Curry cannot find his rhythm. I think what the role players of the Warriors need the most is boost in confidence. Poole is a great player but there are times he is doubting himself and we can see that when they go beyond rotating the ball that should've been a free shot after 5-6 passes.
The same with Bjelica. I remembered the commentator saying he should shoot the ball more because he earned it after getting a lot of offensive rebounds but he just won't even though he is a good shooter. Like I said, confidence is lacking.
1424  Economy / Economics / Re: The Danger of Local Economy. on: December 19, 2021, 01:54:18 PM
Usage wise? I won't go with Bitcoin and I'd rather use the traditional fiat even in my bills payment, etc..
You may ask why? Because Bitcoin is still on the part of just being kept, a reserve, a investment, or whatever they call it now.
Will you really risk using it now rather than keep it and hope for doubling your money?
I would use it for experience, but will not be as my daily money for purchases. It's been around for a long time and I can't see merchants opening that payment method so how come it's a danger to anyone. The banking industry is the one who is in danger if they will have nothing to invest due to their customers purchasing Bitcoin instead of keeping it in the bank vault.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 19, 2021, 06:46:11 AM
Golden State Warriors blown out by the Toronto Raptors. 5 starters are missing but it could be better if Jordan Poole was there. (Out due to health and safety protocols.) This Covid-19 just won't stop messing with our entertainment.
The one big talk I have seen on Twitter was the Jazz losing again. One of the top team in the West being defeated by the Spurs yesterday and now the Wizards. The ending was almost the same. Close game and a battle of defense. Wizards might have seen the weakness of Jazz now. Turnovers. Wizards only made 9 but the Jazz made 15 and that is enough difference for a win.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your reason for buying altcoins? on: December 19, 2021, 04:54:46 AM
No, I don't believe that. What I do believe is we should just take advantage of the altcoins in the market. Buy them, wait for the hype for the price to go up  and then withdraw it for USD. Now it depends on the investor of what coin he prefer next to buy it back. He could use all those profits to buy Bitcoin or Ethereum and let it stay or just buy another altcoin and do the same thing until you are satisfied.
It may not be an easy task but it could work if done on the right method. My preferred strategy is buying it in Bitcoin whenever a dump happens.
1427  Economy / Speculation / Re: Some important things about Bitcoin. on: December 18, 2021, 04:32:50 PM
Same old. Just told history and the basics. Basics are important indeed but I guess many of us knew that already.
The market is volatile and if it sways up then Bitcoin goes up, same when it goes down. The big unknown is always the reason behind it.
What is happening in the shadows that is difficult to find? Even if there is no big news or event that flows in the internet Bitcoin still goes bullish or bearish.
Volatility at its highest rate. It will give me the chills if someone could explain that using facts.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Spanish card games on: December 18, 2021, 03:34:07 PM
This is my first time hearing all this games but I have seen those type of cards. Not the typically used in poker and blackjack right?
Maybe it's the way to understand the game which is why we cannot see them in famous betting sites. If less people will support it then they won't open any line and put efforts in even making a team to maintain it.
But yes, I would like to see how it goes and maybe learn it. Something fresh to get away from the traditional card games.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 18, 2021, 12:30:33 PM
Milwaukee Bucks played an away game against New Orleans Pelicans last night. Bucks definitely felt Giannis' absence I think but they still had a great game even though they lost by 116-112. Jrue Holiday was definitely the player of the game as he got 40 points, 5 rebounds and 5 asssists. He was the top scorer of the game also. But he still had a 50% field goal made ratio which shows he missed too much also. But he still played a big role in Bucks' staying in the game surely.
And it was a new career high for Jrue Holiday. 40 points. He tried his best even without Portis, Giannis, and Middleton. It actually ended up good as it proves how he could lead a team even when he is surrounded by their 2nd team. Grayson Allen is next to him with 25 points.
It's Jonas Valanciunas from the opposing team that made the difference. The Bucks team are being absorbed to him when posting up because there is no one who can fully defend him. But he is just so skillful to find ways and pass it to an open man.
1430  Economy / Economics / Re: Sharing and helping others on: December 17, 2021, 03:10:33 PM
And it doesn't need to be a special day of sharing or Christmas to be done.
I have been sharing my knowledge with my colleagues and neighbors even before and I had opened a lot of eyes because of that. Not boasting but just sharing. The feeling it gave me is great and the best part is now you will have someone to discuss it with and not just here in the forum or in social media.
It is still best to be talking to someone while looking at their eyes to see how they mean everything they will say or ask.
Thanks for the heads up though, it might be good for other members here to remember it.
1431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The future of NFTs on: December 17, 2021, 01:05:22 PM
Games. But had to be careful because most of it drops down in value after early birds takes their profits away as early as they could. I think that's the weakness of NFT games. Perhaps, they could come up with another method that would control outcoming money so that it will last longer.
Other investors which have goals to go deep in playing the game are being discouraged because of this events. The rush to take ROI and early profits are destroying the economy of one NFT game which I think will not last long anymore.
So what's the method to avoid that? Join as early as possible as long as it doesn't look like a scam.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 17, 2021, 09:58:01 AM
We already knew that Coach Thibs removed Kemba from the rotation because they are playing far worse when he is in the court and that is true base on the statistics. Well, it turns out that he isn't the only problem of the Knicks. Just by seeing that picture, am I the only one thinking that Coach Thib might be the problem for the Knicks that is why they are below 500 right now?
That's the problem when they want to pin it down to one player only or with one coach. I assume this ain't Tom Thibodeau's decision for taking out Kemba in their rotation. It's from the men above.
The truth was set free and they will now realize it ain't Kemba but someone on that team, coaching staff or maybe, it is the management problem from not putting any efforts what are the locker room cases.
If I am Kemba Walker, I would agree with a good offer for a trade as fast as I could. Something is wrong in that team and if he is aiming for a championship, it might not be there.
1433  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice Scripts on: December 17, 2021, 05:42:33 AM
Why would you need a script if there is already an auto function in every gambling site that serves dice.
That's what scripts are made for, right? If not, then something bad must be going on that could lead to worst case scenario like frozen funds or being banned.
I keep seeds for luck basis and I guess that's all the best you could do if you are thinking of the best strategy for winning dice games.
Scripts injected with something else is obviously a hack or a scam. Careful.
1434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is the market going to dump like that 2018? on: December 16, 2021, 03:47:37 PM
Patience. That's what you need. If you are a short-term investor then this might not be for you. But if you are looking for long-term higher profits than you should just wait for the market to be in a bull run again because it will happen eventually, we just cannot predict when.
What you could do now is read the history of Bitcoin and Altcoins. Dumps tend to happen and there are times a correction should happen. This might be it and if you did enter at this point then you might have lessen the risk of losing more but instead going for a gain in time.
1435  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 16, 2021, 02:12:11 PM
I'd like to thank Mavericks and Lakers both for making us watch a very competitive game last night. The normal time ended by 93-93 and we watched Lakers to beat Mavericks 107-104 after overtime. Lakers must be very happy about Davis' playing in this game also. Because he might not have played in this game because of an injury. The Lebron - Westbrook - Davis trio was so great. Mavericks still did a solid work but it wasn't enough for the win.
Yes, Kristaps Porzingis gave them a hell of a game especially in the defensive end with 2 blocks and 12 rebounds. I like where this is going for the Mavs if the Unicorn will stay that way. Trying to be a forward/center so that when Luka comes back they will be stronger.

Austin Reaves. The man of the game for the Lakers. It's not actually extraordinary because he was perfect from the outside line in the first half. Ended the game with 5/6 on that field and there is no one else better to shoot that ball on the 3 point line than him. Frank Vogel knew it and the whole Laker team might had an agreement that it should be him for the final throw. Thankfully, the time was enough for the ball to rotate and give him a lot of space for the shot.
1436  Economy / Economics / Re: This why wall street are rich and you are poor on: December 16, 2021, 08:42:46 AM
Easy to say, difficult to be done.
First of all, where will you start? Where will you borrow? How much will be the cost of rates applied annually? Next, what kind of investment? Where to put money in the safest way? How about the percentage of losing or winning the investment?
It's a broad thing and it's not like a click away from doing all of it. It needs research which might even cost your health if you are trying to dig deep about it. Wall Street brokers had been doing this for a long time and it's not like they always win in the process.
1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: about undiscussed potential altcoins on: December 16, 2021, 06:37:32 AM
Yes, because we mostly prefer to suggest the safest coins out there.
Think about the damage it will give if we recommended the wrong coin out there and you bought it with a large sum? You will sure be going back to us and blame us for pointing you in the wrong direction.
About discussions with other coins, there are ANN thread for new ones and others with their own threads created by their supporters. You just need to find them as they are mostly created individually.
1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Other forums about (cryptocurrency) gambling? on: December 15, 2021, 04:48:17 PM
Primedice and stake also have their own forum

https://forum.primedice.com/
https://stakecommunity.com/

But indeed it just like internal forum which mean the forums focused only for those two gambling sites
and besides that i didn't see any active forum related to gambling instead of bitcointalk
Bitcointalk is all-in.  Grin
It's one of the biggest reason why this gambling sites are attracted to advertise their products or services here. Lively gambling community and cryptocurrency holders which means we have the money.
I also visited the two links provided and as I browse unto it, it's more about the customer support, bugs related topics, and some cases that needs to be resolved by the gamblers. It's a good one though, so thank you.
1439  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to Hit $150,000 in 2022 on: December 15, 2021, 04:30:25 PM
I am not the pessimistic type of guy but I also have my own number using predictions and history basis.
$150000 is a lot of money given the USD strength is still intact. Maybe if the value of that fiat goes down then yes, $150k will surely be an easy hit.
This downtrend right now is not new, it happened before and it's just input in big numbers that why it looks bad to the eyes of the investors but this also gives them the opportunity to take the lead, a higher portion of Bitcoin in their stocks to be the new manipulator. That means demand that could take the value of it in greater heights again.
Worldwide events should also be considered, we cannot foretell the future even if given the fact that cryptocurrency shines more in this bad times.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: December 15, 2021, 03:19:41 PM
Silver to get them to postpone those two games. There are about half of those players on the list set to return by December 22nd and 23rd, but several players will be coming back after that, so the bulls will be on hurt mode for a little bit of time. Crazy to have 10 players in protocol!
Yes, right? They are all vaccinated and yet this kind of things still happens. What more if they are not? I hope they are all right, we as fans don't want to see this going back to the bubble.
Pretty amazing seeing Steph Curry breaking the all time 3 point shot record last night.  I'm pissed at myself as I wanted to be in front of the TV live when it happened but I got home just a bit too late. Regardless I watched the highlights on YouTube.  I will never forgot when he was back at Davidson and being on vaca and seeing this skinny little kid who looked like he weighed maybe 100lbs on the cover of all the newspapers during the NCAA tournament run he went on.  I said to myself "this kid will never be anything in the NBA" lol...okay I can now admit I was wrong  Cheesy
Don't worry, it's not just you. Most of us, the basketball critics and more felt the same way when he first stepped in the NBA. He is damn small and thin and you could already imagine what will happen to him if bumped by a large guy when attacking the paint. He managed all of that and it all started when GSW was playing with just 4 players coached by Don Nelson. Yes, 4 players and the other where in the bench, injured, and some fouled out. (there's a rule here that made the fouled out player go back to the floor to continue the game)
That is when the time he performed at his best and now he just broke a record. Damn!
