1421  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin have jump to $27000, can this be maintain by 2021? on: January 01, 2021, 03:02:43 PM
it will look very impressive if this trend continues, but I think we need some mid-year corrections to make things look good, if the spike continues it is feared that the decline could exceed expectations.
so it is better for each increase to be accompanied by a correction to create a solid foundation.

We can hope in this Q1 that the price can still increase as we see the price now can be at $29k, which is a good start in the new year. The bitcoin price wants to increase more, although the red candle appears on the market, so we should wait for a while, and if you think that there is a good time to buy more or sell more, you should analyze before doing something. If there is a correction that comes to the market, we hope the correction will not make the price drops too deep. But it clear to us that this year can be a good year for all of us.
Indeed, having this amount of Bitcoin we shouldn't just make sell or buy right now, it would be better if we will think more wisely if it is worth to take the risk and buy at this point. Honestly, we don't know exactly when doest correction will enter but it seems institutions and whales are still kept pushing it so correction might be sooner, regardless we still need to be wary about these, better to be secure than never. Don't be afraid of the correction because I am pretty sure that it wouldn't be like as we had before because the growth today is firm and not just because of FOMO. Just like what everyone is expecting I also believe that it would be fruitful like we had in the last 2 months of the year.
1422  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: the power of HOLD and believe on: January 01, 2021, 02:22:44 PM
as we know, the price of Bitcoin had a bear run in 2018 with the lowest price at $3k on Dec 17, 2018 and now the price of Bitcoin has reached $25k and this is the new ATH price for Bitcoin, so if you buy Bitcoin in 2018 and HOLD until now, then you can get a profit of more than 700% and I also congratulate those of you who HOLD or bought Bitcoin in 2018 when the price of Bitcoin dump.
If you hold that long then that was commendable because it is nearly impossible for anyone who will hold that long because when day saw Bitcoin reaching around $10k they might probably sell already. Upon holding there's a limit because it is always not working on our side. I mean you might be seeing a good price right now like $29k at this point and still growing but we never knew when this will end thus why having a target point sell or goal is highly recommended, you don't want to miss the opportunity. Holding was not bad in fact its a good strategy and I've been using it but you should when to have your exit.
1423  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What we do that leads us to be hacked or scam on: December 30, 2020, 02:59:41 PM
Your examples are old scam methods. many of people know this scam and this percentage will decrease with the passage of days.
scammers are developing their tricks and you won't find many of them using these old ways.

Stop displaying your emails in public and do not reply or click on any link. Use 2Fa verification on a secure offline device.
Do not download unreliable programs and educate yourself, as it is the most powerful shield.
They definitely an old scam method yet some folks are still falling into these kinds of tricks. Anyway, as we learned how to avoid these things, scammers also improve in making such new methods just to gain and harm others. That is why if it hypothetically happens that you already fall into this kind of scheme(which I hope not) you must share the experience of yours so that others could be aware and avoid experiencing these horrible things. As an individual, we must be always knowledgable regards this kind of activity because ignorance is not an excuse, scammers will take this opportunity to make gains out from you. As much as possible do not only think twice but rather think as much as you can before engaging in any activity.
1424  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Don't buy what you can't hodl. on: December 30, 2020, 02:18:06 PM
So easy to say but very hard to follow Especially for long term investors. It's never a pleasant thing to invest in a coin and then watch your investment go low. I have come to realize that in any situation of the market, patience is much needed and also your choice of coins for investment and time of investment also matters. A simple way out is to plan your funds, dont fomo, buy at more dip, take profit at intervals.
Just like what you have said it is easier to be said than to be done, if the situation is already been there it would really difficult to manage the pressure that is why we should always work on controlling our emotions, having a plan could also be better. Upon choosing the coin to invest in, pick those coins that will certainly provide a profit, and stay away from the risky coin. Yes, they could be profitable compared to those certain ones but they also possess a great amount of risk which is not recommended if you have no much knowledge towards it. Investing in trusted coins like the top listed coins in CMC will more likely secure a profit.
1425  Economy / Speculation / Re: Oh BTC crossed 25k on: December 30, 2020, 11:09:25 AM
It's on $26560 already upon writing this and it seems that there's a chance of reaching $30k next year. I would be surprised if it would literally breaks another resistance beyond $30k next year since most people are expecting a $50k to $100k new ATH. If it would manage to stay at this level there's a big chances that next year is beyond bullish for Bitcoin.

Let's continue hodling and sell some if you wish to gain from your Bitcoin but don't dump because BTC is just starting to get some momentum to break another ATH next year.

I'm really surprised that we hit more than $26k already and we are still few days before this year ends. $30k is really possible to happen. And if these financial institutions will continue to buy btc, even at this current price, then, btc price will indeed have a bullish run. But we should be careful as it may fall down again.
I can't believe it just break $27k straight to $28k for just a couple of hours while I was taking a nap. But it seems that somebody doesn't want to lose to the market and is started to dump big after it touches $28k and it looks like it's going to go down for more. This market is really scary if you don't know what you are doing, you might end up losing all of your Bitcoin if you try to play with whales. I don't think Bitcoin would try to break $30k before the end of the year. Huh
No Bitcoin will not break $30k this time. Roughly we only have 1 day and a half remaining before this year ends so I think it is impossible. We can still witness it though however, it would be in 2021. After reaching $28k the resistance was suddenly increased and it goes back at something $26k but now it is striving again at $28k, it seems there are still some institutions, whales and individuals are procuring who keep pushing. It is very high now and if you don't know you are doing this could be a big loss, that's why it's better to have a selling point to secure your gains.
1426  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will bitcoin price start Falling? on: December 30, 2020, 10:18:01 AM
I've been thinking, it's now very scary to buy bitcoin, as the bullish movement is at an unexpected level.
There's nothing to be afraid of to buy right now because even if the price starts to fall you can still have a profit unless you are aiming for a quick profit. Bitcoins grow over time that is why they always say that invest whenever you want.

Quote
When do you think bitcoin price will start falling?

What are the signs to watch out for?
No one exactly knows when Bitcoin starts to fall that is why we should always have to set our entry point and as well as the exit point or target price. There are some folks who are analyzing the situation and making their signals but this is still not a hundred percent certain. You could make yours actually.

A friend told me that some people borrowed money from banks to invest, and it had paid off for them

Well, there are several people who did that and actually make gains. However, it is not recommended especially if you don't know what you were doing, you might lose the money and become one of your problems because you need to pay it off.

1428  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ethereum going to Die? on: December 29, 2020, 03:41:56 PM
Earlier I've seen more discussion taking place relative to bitcoin, stating it is gonna die. Now the discussion has turned towards ethereum. I see ethereum to be highly potential and gets used forever, because than any other cryptocurrency infrastructure ethereum is good and has got real-time usage.
Yeah, it was quite ridiculous, after they judge Bitcoin that it is going to die and now they thinking of the ETH as well. It is indeed ETH is now having an expensive fee but this is because of the congestion and it is not always like this. This only occurs because some folks are now trying to switch to ETH from Bitcoin due to the fact that it is now surging up and folks are now having a fear that the correction might occur, to put it simply they trying to liquidate. Anyway, ETH 2.0 is about to enter and this will make the smart contract transactions run more efficiently.
1429  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to become a trusted member? on: December 29, 2020, 02:53:04 PM
The questions now, how long it takes and what are the tips&tricks you did in order to become a trusted member on this forum?
I assume most went through escrow when buying crypto, after how many such transactions you got the +1 as trust points?
Did any of you sell to non-trusted users without escrow? What was your selection criteria?
Getting trust here in this forum could be more difficult compared to getting a merit. But I don't think there's a trick behind it but rather just be patient, be active and be yourself. Being transparent upon making a transaction with other users in this forum would likely help you to earn their trust and they might give you positive feedback. Don't pursue too much of having positive feedback because you will definitely receive it if you really deserve it just be patient.
1430  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I think every trader should do to stay in the green on: December 29, 2020, 02:02:11 PM
Staying green while practicing trading is possible. To be successful out of it, user needs to have the patience and should not go for short term trading. Just buy an asset when the price is low, and open a buy order for a bigger price than the bought value. This at times might take time to get executed.
Well yeah, long-term trade is one of the strategies to make your trades always green because it would be simple to determine when to buy and sell your assets. However, wouldn't it be challenging? I mean short-term could be risky but bear in mind that the riskier the thing is the more profit you will have. Besides, making a TA would likely reduce your risk exposure, this will be your guide for you to be able to have a good outcome. Always make a research about the coins you trade, analyze the trend and you'll be fine.
1431  Economy / Speculation / Re: I doubt Bitcoin will dip below 20k again on: December 29, 2020, 12:59:39 PM
Too many institutions and big money behind it now!!!   Whats everyones opinion explain?BTC
No one really knows because anything can happen with Bitcoin. Not sure if it will not drop below $20k though. Anyway, I also believe that Bitcoin will not plummet as we had before 2018 because the growth is now stronger and firm due to the massive adoption of institutions and big companies not by FUD. Perhaps it will drop around $15k but I don't think it will go lower beyond $10k. One thing is for sure this time it would be a lot different but still we must not let our guard down and be aware all the time.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much btc do you need to secure your future? on: December 29, 2020, 10:31:26 AM
I got to assume if you talking about 10 years down the road or more... it has to be minimum 5?  Or minimum 10?  Or is 10 a bit too high?
I think 10 would be enough. If you will use that amount to establish your own business then that would really enough. Owning 10 was already expensive in other counties but that was too high to imagine for everyone that is why they only dreaming of having a goal of 1. I would say that 1 is already enough though considering that Bitcoin's price grows over time. However, as the times passing by expenses also increase so better not to be contented with what you have and strive for more.
1433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful From Telegram Fraud on: December 28, 2020, 04:17:30 PM
Unfortunately such scams are very popular these days. They all follow the same pattern. The system is designed to prey on people that don't have sufficient information about bitcoin or trading. I opened a discussed before now if there are still legit crypto groups/channels in telegram. Almost everyone is trying to rip you off. Bitcointalk forum is my safe haven.
Well, what do you expect now that Bitcoin becomes a thing again. Upon the increased value of Bitcoin it captives a lot of newbies who want to enter the trend and scammers will take this opportunity to gain from them. I heard a lot of stories regard this and it was definitely absurd that is why before entering into something you are not familiarized with it is recommended to make your own research first because ignorance was not an excuse. Even in this forum, you should still be careful because we don't know what runs on people's minds. As much as possible trust it is better to trust yourself than others.
1434  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are you Interested in trading? on: December 28, 2020, 03:46:48 PM
I guess it is not that bad if you will take a look at some signals because there are some cases that it does really useful. However, do bear in mind that you must not always rely on it because it would be better if you will make your own, perhaps take some idea on their signals and compare it to your own by that way you could mitigate the risk. Signals are good and can be helpful if you are just starting to trade while acquiring knowledge and experience.  Anyway, thanks for sharing I'll try to take a look at them maybe I can get some good signals.
1435  Economy / Speculation / Re: My Bitcoin Price Prediction $133K for 2021 and Yours? on: December 28, 2020, 03:15:34 PM
My minimum accurate price prediction for Bitcoin is $133K for upcoming events happening in 2021, The max I can expect is around $140K. There could be miner -1% to -2% error while predicting bitcoin. What is your prediction regarding bitcoin for 2021?

For Altcoins, I am choosing this time ADA only and my ADA prediction is around $11 per token in 2021 bull run,  Which coin do you choose and what is your prediction regarding that token?
I think that is a little bit far to get. Yeah, we could see Bitcoin having a 6 digit worth but I don't think it will get through within that small timeframe, perhaps a decade or 5 years from now. My prediction is that the maximum growth we will witness this coming year is around $40k-$50k. Though a lot of institutions and companies are venturing with this one I doubt that this will be enough to make that huge growth, perhaps if the majority of the world are agreed to use this maybe it has a chance. So the key is a massive adoption.
1436  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is pointless if the BTC fees increases along with rise in BTC price! on: December 28, 2020, 02:46:22 PM
I have observed many times whenever there is rise in the price it will proportionally increase the fees as well.
It is not that because Bitcoin's value rises and so the fee will increase as well. Fees depend on the number of transactions being made like now Bitcoin having expensive fees because there's a lot of people are now buying Bitcoin to enter with the trend and some are selling because they made an exit. Hence, it is not true that when a coin rises and so the fee it can also happen when a coin when it plummets because everyone will tend to accumulate. But if you want to reduce that fee there are few solutions like using a Bitcoin lightning network or try using a Native Segwit address or bech32.
1437  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: CONFESSION TIME: I SOLD TOO EARLY on: December 27, 2020, 04:09:29 PM
If you have any assets you need to sell different price like you have 1 btc in your wallet not sell all bitcoin on the same price, you need change 0,1 btc with different price so most effective when get higher price and not looks disappointed when you miss with one price, I know how many trader loss much assets because sell on the same price and almost their assets always sell all in. I think when you buy you can try this method and not buy at the same price and have different like you sell.
Its better to set prices we aim to sell but to lessen the fees and we think we already get too much profit from our investment then it's good to be safe than sorry. Bitcoin is still volatile it may be bullish now but we can't still control when the price will make correction, though we can buy back and set prices anytime to get atleast more profit.
Yeah, I think that is the smartest thing to do. Honestly, I sold my coins too early but I guess that was okay because I already hit my target price. Having a target price is a way to mitigate your risk exposure and that was a good thing. We might miss the opportunity to sell at the peak but at least we already got our target profit. Besides, no one really knows exactly that Bitcoin would grow this much so I think it is a safe call. But if you want still to enter the trend then you could partly buy of it.
1438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How to find best Airdrops? on: December 27, 2020, 03:36:42 PM
I really want to know about how i can get legit and good airdrops. There are too many scam projects and its really difficult to find legit project. I missed 1inch airdrop infact i did not find any announcement regarding this and suddenly last night i see a post about it. So i feel bad but cant do any thing.
Yeah, unfortunately, I missed this one also. But anyway, most of the airdrops are scam and not worth your time though there are some can be goods like this 1inch airdrop but they are very rare and it is even hard to spot them so I already gave up on this. As a matter of fact, joining in bounty campaign was way better rather than waiting for an airdrop. I don't saw any announcement either or they didn't provide any of it, because if so, everyone will get ready for this opportunity.
1439  Economy / Speculation / Re: How is bitcoin worth buying now at these prices? on: December 27, 2020, 03:05:11 PM
With the price of it 25k at the moment... even when its 20k... in order to double your money, you need it to hit 50k or 40k.  That number still looks so far away with how much btc has went up this year.  And imagine wanting to 5x your money.
Why it is not worth it when less than a year ago the price is just $3k? And look at where the price is heading, $50k? it's peanuts actually, the price and this bull run has no boundaries. Of course there will be some pull back, but with kind of bullish sentiments and the whole 2021 around, it's possible that we might see 6 digits in the next 2 years so definitely worth a try to buy today. Also, you don't need to get one whole bitcoin, perhaps you can DCA or just invest what you can afford, as the saying goes.
Indeed, upon investing in Bitcoin you don't need to buy the whole thing, that would really be expensive, you could have just buy what you can afford. Besides, in my opinion, you can purchase Bitcoin whenever time you want because the outcome will always vary depending on your process. Like, if you are a short-term trader then you must buy at a lower price while on the other hand as a long-term trader you don't need to worry about your entry because no matter what happens Bitcoin will always grow over time.
1440  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has Bitcoin FAILED? on: December 27, 2020, 02:33:47 PM
Well, bitcoin might be failed to serve its original purpose which is being a currency of course. However, it evolved into something way better which is a tool for investment. IMO, bitcoin never fails but rather it even progressed way better than we could imagine. Remember from a worth of a penny into a grand amount of dollars and from single into a big community. For being notorious or threat and now become a valuable asset for big companies, individuals, and institutions, I think that is enough evidence that Bitcoin never failed.
