1441  Economy / Speculation / Re: One Bitcoin May Be Worth $1 Billion by 2038, Fidelity Says on: June 01, 2023, 01:26:21 PM
There are more and more predictors of Bitcoin growth every year. It's like a viral game where every analyst makes their own calculations and promises the most amazing Bitcoin prices every time.
We can also say that this or that will happen, but why is there still no one who could confidently determine the price that will happen in the near future with a hundred percent guarantee? We live in such a time when our technologies and events are changing very quickly that it is simply impossible to know what will happen to the world in a short period of time, let alone decades.
1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Behavioural signs that suggest you are Addicted to Gambling on: June 01, 2023, 12:15:32 PM
I also noticed some regularity. Usually, beginners get lucky a few times, which makes the person think they are lucky and fuel their greed. But one day he loses everything, and then that trait in a person begins to appear, whether he is passionate or not. Consistency in the game and successful wins make him a person who is not ready for losses; he doesn't believe he can't win back the loss. If you do not stop at this moment, then the person falls into the trap of the game. And yes, it is correct to talk about the help of specialists, but a person suffering from gambling addiction must understand that he needs help, as long as he thinks that he has no problems with the game, no psychologist will help.
1443  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the most significant trading sacrifice you believe you have made? on: June 01, 2023, 11:45:43 AM
Someone I know was able to achieve a lot of things, he literally become financially independent after he left his full-time job, and he already bought his own car. He is my close friend and I was also the person who introduced him to cryptocurrency, I am happy for him. Because he doesn't need to work 8 hours a day, and he got a lot of time.
That's why he becomes a full-time trader.

And what is his sacrifice? A very beautiful and unique story Cheesy. I think that before he became successful, he lost a lot of strength and nerves.
Seeing how the psychological health of my friends who are just trying to trade is changing, I think that I am not ready for such a sacrifice. I'd rather sleep well than twitch with every up and down of the market and turn into a neurotic. I know one thing: trading is not for everyone, so I look with regret at friends who have not yet understood this.
1444  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: A opinion on regrets on: June 01, 2023, 11:30:14 AM
It is impossible to succeed everywhere and always. You can’t earn all the money, so you can only regret the passing of life, which some have wasted in vain. While those who deny Bitcoin are sleeping, others are earning on it, and the time that passes from the realization of this can no longer be returned.
But if we are here on the forum, the place of regret should be replaced by the hope that we can still achieve what we once missed.
1445  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dad's retirement money is invested in Bitcoin! on: June 01, 2023, 10:09:41 AM
It seems to me that your father, despite his retirement age, is not yet quite an old man, so you cannot decide for him where and how much to invest his money. Soldiers retire early. Why don't you, as a son, tell him about Bitcoin? I think he will quickly master it and be able to make his own decision with his money.
You, as an adult son, need to earn money yourself and not look at other people's money.
1446  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you need some menthor come to me on: June 01, 2023, 05:17:30 AM
OP, did you forget to add an explanation to your advertisement? Why do you need all this? Why do you need to teach people so that they become as enlightened as you? Do you want to earn money? But as many have already unsubscribed, you need to prove your experience and offer yourself in such a way that people become interested. Strictly according to the psychology of success, if you want to get something, present everything in such a way that the person you tell it to wants to give it to you. All the other words about insight and other nonsense we see here in a day
1447  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am a newbie on: May 31, 2023, 02:18:34 PM
Hi I am new to Bitcointalk and crypto how do I be of significance to the forum and Bitcoin community as a whole.
I

That is an interesting question from a newbie. OP, why would you want to be significant? Why do you think the forum needs it? I have always assumed that people come here to make the platform a meaningful place for them, and not otherwise. Do you really think that for several years of existence, the forum needs it?
Change your thinking. Explore the forum, do not go out of your way to achieve significance. Your talent, if any, will show itself.
1448  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 120$ Loan defaulted by [Supreemo] on: May 29, 2023, 01:23:22 PM

OP, I gave an opinion my previous post and again I am also sharing the second. How about you putting up a policy that anyone who wants to take a lone must have a reputable member or a high rank member from the rank of a snr. member to vouch or stand in as a surety or  if the borrower is promoting any campaign, the campaign manager should be able to sign a signature that the borrower is in his or her campaign and if they default, their weekly payments would be transferred to the lender.

I find this somewhat strange. Why should other people take responsibility for the actions of another user? You contradict yourself. Here on the forum, no one knows what a person did, who he was in the past, and so on. But at your suggestion, our managers should, whenever someone wants to borrow money, become guarantors for them. Have you put yourself in the shoes of these people? Why should anyone care about other people's problems? Roll Eyes
1449  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make first buck in crypto without investment? on: May 29, 2023, 11:21:28 AM
I don't know why you put "re" in the title. I imagine because it's an answer to a question in another thread. In any case, this would be a way to try to make some bucks, something like playing the lottery but for free, but it is not a good method to make money.

Yes, yes, I just answered this yesterday on some topic. The guy talks about the numerous ways to earn money in Bitcoin. Seeing this topic, I to some extent saw the answer to my question. But still, sit and wait for the win? Can this be called work?
In my environment, there is one eccentric who spends all his money on slot machines, hoping one day, at this moment, to become rich.
I'll tell him to explain and reassure everyone who calls him a slacker that he's actually running a business. Grin Grin
1450  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto influencers secrets that all newbies should be aware of on: May 29, 2023, 11:05:42 AM
You know, I will never believe that if a person is offered money on the Internet, he will refuse it. It is in your post that you say your friend is a future crypto star. And what do the stars need for their glory? They will promote themselves one way or another if he refuses $600; what will he say if he is offered $6,000? It's just that your friend is not worth the money, and people will be able to find a replacement for him. Everything has its price. People on YouTube are people who make money from views. Why ask a YouTuber to promote a crypto project? The answer is self-imposed: money. Therefore, all crypto-influencers for this or that money will do what they are told. As long as there is demand, there will be supply.
1451  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Doing scam for Using AI Tool in Signature Campaign on: May 28, 2023, 04:00:05 PM
This is interesting, first the accused user exposed another user @Shan85 for double dipping in signature campiagn and now he's being accused of using AI to generate post to earn from signature.

I have caught some users in the past using AI to generate post here in the forum and if I'm to use the same criteria or tools I used bask then to judge this present case then I'll say the accused is guilty, although I couldn't get chatGPT to generate a similar post for me just be copying and pasting the title of the thread like I did in previous cases.

But let's see what he has to say concerning this and if it turns out to be true then he's no different from @Shan85.
@Saira10 I saw that you dropped a post in the signature thread that the accused user participated in, you should also consider PMing the campaign manager and also @bbigtart for a quicker response.

Let's go further down the chain. If you check the address of the OP, then the statistics show that he is not clean as a tear either.
If you check the address: 0x7519671882ccbc4aA7254EEf144d8D7B854F9C8d, which first appeared on the forum, then the owner of it is an account that is banned. True, the post itself was deleted, which is not surprising for cheaters. And accordingly, the OP violates the prohibition rule.
Nothing personal to the OP, but the facts speak of breaking the rule.

1453  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating unemployed friends about Bitcoin on: May 28, 2023, 02:30:26 PM
I always thought that if a person is looking for a job, he will be glad to accept any offers. Your friends, as you speak, are very cautious and skeptical of your words. But I always wondered where it says on the forum that we are trying hard to teach and persuade people to invest, especially people who are far from crypto. Why are so many people taking on the role of teachers to supposedly help their friends? Want to help? Give them money; moreover, if you can give some examples, as you write, about the many ways to earn Bitcoins, I will be grateful.
I'm not against you, OP, but if a person is a doctor, for example, and he forces you to go and get a medical specialty, how will you react? Some are simply not interested; you should not be intrusive; bitcoin does not need advertising; as you can see, it has been very independent and sufficient for many years.

But when I tell them that I have a rough understanding of Bitcoin.

I just put myself in the place of the OP. If I received so much criticism on this topic, I would be covered with shame and perhaps some kind of rash; maybe I would hasten to close this topic.
But, OP, I see you are thick-skinned and have managed to develop immunity to criticism.
Let's hope that one day everyone who criticized this topic will take back their words; perhaps we will see a future crypto star. Smiley
1455  Other / Meta / Re: How are the rules on "link dumps"? Should this be forbidden? on: May 28, 2023, 05:38:50 AM
Yes, this works as rule No. 1. In addition to what I said in another thread to this poster, I noticed that the moderators do not spare other posts that users leave on similar topics. They deleted all replies along with the topic.
Therefore, I would advise users not to respond to topics copied from other sources that do not reflect the feelings and opinions of the author. Value your time.
I see that this user has figured out his mistake and is no longer creating threads like this, but there will be others. Feel free to complain about such topics; it definitely won't get any worse.

1456  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: journey to financial freedom on: May 27, 2023, 03:56:16 PM
In January 2009 after the release of Bitcoin, the journey to financial freedom begun, i believe this is the right platform for me to learn more about bitcoin, though Bitcoin is 14 years old now, hope i'm not too late to join the bus?

OP, it would be more convenient to move this topic to the section for beginners and help. If you are a real beginner, there is good news in that section, where there is a lot of material available.
But when it comes to whether you're joining Bitcoin late, since you're talking about the bus, it's better to ride it than stay on the road. Be one of us, make some investments, and you will become a bitcoiner, and no matter how much capital you have in the first steps, the main thing is to start, read, and study. You will not be disappointed, believe me.
1457  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Campaign on: May 27, 2023, 03:42:21 PM
Not a bad idea. I would buy a similar piggy bank for my child and explain to him that it takes patience to accumulate bitcoins. This would be the first step, teaching the son to save the change and to cope with his emotions at a time when he wants to spend what he holds for entirely different purposes. It would be funny to see a piggy bank like this that is difficult to break or open, which would definitely educate my son to be patient for profit.
1458  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why My Most Favorite Board is Beginners & Help ? on: May 27, 2023, 04:23:39 AM
Those users who use forums know very well that ideally, every forum should have a similar section. And that is where you need to start your journey.
It would be correct to make a redirect for newbies who have just registered on the forum. In this way, they would be able to get better suggestions for using the forum and, moreover, in an easier way.
But unfortunately, this place is not popular and attentive reading among some because, if you look closely, every second newcomer is in a hurry to create a separate topic with questions that are discussed thousands of times.
The motto for newbies after arriving in this section should be, "If you want to achieve something, read, search, and only after that ask and create a new topic."

~snip~
It's not like OP is not aware of Announce your rank up, merit or any achievements that makes you feel great!. Only nine days ago, he celebrated his Sr. Member rank-up achievement in this thread. He could have posted this achievement there as well. But decided to create a thread because others are doing the same.

I don't think we can expect everyone to follow some guidelines (which aren't even official), and the Reputation board has always been a place where members posted their achievements. It would be nice if everyone posted their achievements in the same topic, but that is simply not realistic to expect.

I don't think I have ever "celebrated" any of my achievements in this way, but I understand that there are members who experience each "achievement" very emotionally, so I can understand that they react like the OP. In addition, I think that the quantity in this particular case is not too important, because numbers are just numbers, and the quality of the posts is a much more important criterion.

It looks like our users need to create multiple topics: the first 10, 100,1000 posts, merits, days, etc.
The fact that there is one very good theme for celebrating one's achievements is apparently not enough.
Some are not so modest, they shout about it all around, that they are ready to announce their first joys to the whole world.
Can I ask the OP if he saw what year the LFC_Bitcoin and LTU_btc accounts were created in order to create a similar topic about himself?
OP, do you see the difference, or is your vanity blinding your eyes? What if everyone with a 2022 registration screams about their 1,000 posts?
Why is this topic bad?   https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5391471.0
