Why you do not like the fast increase in bitcoin ?

Because fast increase means heavy drop and long long bear market because so many people get burned and run away from crypto.
1442  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 07, 2016, 11:23:22 AM

1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: The scam is so bloody obvious. on: January 07, 2016, 11:17:32 AM
Overstock has patented a lot of stuff, for example. Mainly applications of blockchain tech like: use it for settlement, use it for stock lending, use it for <xzy>. They have implemented the tech and they're starting to use it (http://t0.com, the SEC has approved their plan to issue/settle stock on a blockchain (not bitcoin probably (see a real effect of blocksize limit here!!) they're "blockchain agnostic")). I consider Patrick Byrne to be a "good guy" (being called "man most hated by wallstreet" says something). He's been fucked good by the banks/wallstreet decades ago and now it's payback time. He says he'd like to be part of R3 consortium "just to make sure they're steered in the right directions" but says he fears it could be powergrab by the banks in the sense that they'll dev blockchain tech for settlement and whatnot, then call their buddies in government to put into law that their system must be used and t0 is outlawed or somehow else hampered. I kinda share that fear. They wanna have the cake and eat it too. Everybody knows blockchain use is going to be real for all kinds of things in financial sphere.

part 2 is even more interesting if you only have time for 1 of them

I hope this puts OPs "scam" into perspective a little bit
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AUR] Auroracoin market observer on: January 07, 2016, 11:10:46 AM
My guesstimate is that 80% (3000AUR) of mined coins today, are sold on Bittrex on daily basis. If no news in 15 to 20 days, the 8000 level will be broken down.

Your guesstimates about miner selling make a lot of sense. Maybe it's a little less, even.

I agree: support around 8000 is grandiose. That 30k support wall has been there forever and doesn't move. And it's not alone. It could well be we're looking at a bottom here.

The guy who placed the buy walls, knew what he is doing. You will never see AUR this cheap again.

Not sure how you mean that. The huge order was pulled, not filled, so the guy didn't buy much (if anything at all). He could've been selling, even. The 10,000 AUR sell wall is still in place, btw.

Buy, hold and enjoy the ride.

Here I basically agree Wink
1445  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 07, 2016, 10:03:47 AM

1446  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 07, 2016, 10:00:12 AM

1447  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 07, 2016, 09:54:48 AM
Das wurde aber auch Zeit! Konnte die 430$ nicht mehr sehen. Tongue

Ging mir genauso.

1448  Local / Trading und Spekulation / Re: Der Aktuelle Kursverlauf on: January 07, 2016, 09:54:07 AM

1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Auroracoin - A new chapter in the history of Iceland! on: January 07, 2016, 09:02:00 AM
uh whats the point of mining aurora if the mining technology is not being constantly improved?

The point of mining any coin is to ensure consensus and secure the ledger.

The Auroracoin experiment isn't about technology at all in my opinion, it's more of a social experiement.

If you want to mine, then by all means do. Buy (or rent) yourself some scrypt hardware... the other miners have the same "problem(s)", so it's fair.
1450  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [AUR] Auroracoin market observer on: January 07, 2016, 06:54:50 AM
here's chart from  bittrex, hourly candles

Bear view: 8000 seems hard to tackle. Bears can't push through, there's a 30k bid there (has been for ages, weeks at least) that doesn't move and below there's more. Too expensive/risky to push down: when the fiat exchange goes live, AUR could shoot up and we're holding the bitcoin bag.

Bull view: Volume is low, seems like miners use the exchange to sell, so we can slowly collect cheap coins. Slippage is high to the upside, though, so patience is a virtue.

1451  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Auroracoin - A new chapter in the history of Iceland! on: January 07, 2016, 06:46:32 AM
I don't think it's because he's trying to sell at 9500 either, it does seem like overkill.

If it stays it's real.

it's gone. the 10k ask still there.

sorry to the productive guys for the offtopic speculation talk. I know we have a thread for it ([AUR] Auroracoin market observer, but noone reads there so noone posts there so noone reads there...
1452  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Auroracoin - A new chapter in the history of Iceland! on: January 06, 2016, 08:47:25 PM
16 BTC buy wall @ 9295 sat on bittrex.

Real or fake?

WOW!

hmm...

could be trying to scare people into buying that new ask at 9500. Seems a bit overkill for that measly "not even 1 BTC", though.

EDIT: So... if any of you big hodler wants out... slippage has never been lower Wink

EDIT2: shit, there goes my plan to buy more at 6000
1453  Economy / Speculation / Re: The scam is so bloody obvious. on: January 06, 2016, 07:56:09 PM
The government is greedy, they can't get enough money. They also can't handle not getting money from taxes. Idiots. It's like they want us to have to pay 10,000 bitcoins again for a pizza until they have millions, then stop being retards & let the price go up to $500 ez money

hehe, yeah. Just wait, wouldn't be surprised if some of those schmocks tried fixing the price of bitcoin by using law.

1454  Economy / Speculation / Re: The scam is so bloody obvious. on: January 06, 2016, 07:54:37 PM
Charging over $400 real dollars for a made up virtual token that will be one of the most illegal things in the near future? What? Yes... this is what greed and ignorance does to people.

It's weird: people charging $10,000 for a kilogram of cocaine while it's one of the most widely illegal things on the planet.
1455  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: January 06, 2016, 07:53:00 PM
rjclarke2000 Alts are the new dotcoms. A few of them will do very nicely. BTC, XMR, FCT, Huh

And LTC because it is immune to all that spam Tx and block bloating nonsense.

why is LTC immune to that?

If it goes below $400 ill buy some more!

great call!

finally someone who doesn't suffer from lack of imagination!

previous bubbles have been 5-10 (or more) times prev. ATH, so if we see another one, this is quite possible. Of course timing needs to fit well, too.

Some people clearly don't lack imagination, but what they do lack is a healthy bit of reality. Wink

I should really start to collect these posts so I can rub reality into peoples faces later Wink
1459  Local / Treffen / Re: Hamburg Bitcoin-Treffen, 1. Mittwoch im Monat, 19:00 im SternChance on: January 06, 2016, 11:54:33 AM
Das Treffen im Januar fällt aus

ok.
