1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just how bad is the bear demand right now on: May 27, 2023, 09:30:17 PM
I'd class it as about as extreme a sell as seen previously, we dipped below the 200 week average for quite a while which doesn't normally happen in a pullback.   So it was a sell off not normally seen in most years that BTC trades, definitely qualifies as a reset.  I thought we could go back to the 2019 prices but it didn't quite go that far, close enough really to qualify as in that area.
1462  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: May 27, 2023, 07:41:12 PM
If its your money I cant see why'd it be a problem, situation there is the marriage is shared finances.   I dont know about the threat but its quite possible the wife is reasonable in mentioning its too much money, the heavy handed ultimatum is really unfortunate way to discuss anything with anyone.   I'd certainly half  or more the amounts gambled if its threatening security of a relationship, or just stopping for some months if you cant stop obviously that'd be more of a concern.  I do think its unreasonable to never allow someone to play, also the snooping is pretty awful also.

Apeks vs Monte right now is a 3 map match I'd guess.    They both did great in the major and are literally ranked next to each other.

s1mple had the capability to be in every major though he is younger but besides that his behavior when he was younger was way off the mark of what would have allowed him to be on any major team despite his skill.   So he had to progress to where he is now and is lucky he is even allowed, Swag another player of that early era is banned forever unfortunately; one of the greatest players I think he went to 2 majors total.
1464  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: May 27, 2023, 12:38:40 AM
Its important to separate what we're talking about, price by itself is not something determined within the blockchain.  The price when its in dollars is heavily traded entirely outside of crypto markets, does BTC have to bare any responsibility for what price occurs in Chicago or anywhere else.    There is alot of volatility, this crash idea of course is out there but please separate it in your mind from the reliability of BTC itself.     Price and the asset or commodity itself are different dynamics to consider, prices for alot of things can be erratic.   The price of plain food recently has been hijacked and disrupted by wars and interference with large transportation from producers, do we say now that wheat or corn is a bad food because of this.

Do be cautious but keep all seperate ideas in your consideration.
1465  Economy / Speculation / Re: FTX recovered $7.3B in Assets and is considering restarting! on: May 26, 2023, 11:43:39 PM
Every company is obliged mostly to their shareholders not to a CEO or anyone else or even a founder.  So it makes sense, they are almost required in a set path of actions to take to right the ship and put it back to working order (many are surprised thats at all possible); SBF must have known or been advised this was coming for him.   Personally he should go bankrupt and hand over everything he misdirected illegally certainly but even his legal pay is now likely forfeit considering the damage to the legal entity which is the FTX company.
People he owes will be the government etc.  at this point he should be glad if he doesn't end up going the same place as Ms. Elizabeth Holmes for a long time.    Fraud ranks alongside bank robbery for the risk/reward payoff, just minus the violence perhaps but still as serious so far as I know.
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the bitcoin rate if the global economy collapses in 2023? on: May 26, 2023, 10:55:44 PM
Inflation is already apparent which is undermining true growth by excessive monetary base expansion in Dollars and many other modern widespread currencies, notably Euro and YEN have massive over supply of government debt and the fall out of QE programs that have never rescinded correctly.   That does not equate to a global recession exactly but it will make people poorer with rising costs beyond their likely earnings.
World GDP is likely to stay positive because we do have general expansion in large economies such as India and China with over a billion each, the majority of Indian population is under the age of 30.   I think the most likely occurrence is volatility and price instability, BTC is already a volatile price action market so we should already be forewarned this is quite possible now and in future.   I do not fear that so much but it is important that usage of BTC continues to improve,  the price itself I wont be as concerned about as its highly speculative.

The RP bonus applied at the moment seems most generous almost the biggest bonus because its requiring no extra effort, just click every hour isnt much to ask of a free faucet.  I really never liked the various faucets over time that have required all sorts of hoops to jump through, I understand a ton of people try to game the system but it becomes tiresome quickly.  Inevitably I forget to visit those random faucets and the balance ends up lost (some cases it would have been a large amount in todays figures) or just the site is not popular from being so difficult so it stops operating altogether making the entire interest in the site a waste of time, here its all simple no hassle much appreciated in that basic respect.
Every product is ideally maximum ease of use and popular across a range of people with varying depths of interest, I believe this is still something BTC itself needs to progress in and all the awkward parts to it need alot more polish imo for actual worldwide usage and popularity.   If one sector or product does not achieve ease of use we'll see someone else find greater success via establishing that path for the masses.  Economies of scale cant be underestimated in any capitalistic system which I would hope is true in crypto markets.
1468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Just how bad is the bear demand right now on: May 25, 2023, 11:07:48 PM
The definition of a trend is nothing so exact as 4 candlesticks going green, it could be far more elusive then that.  The important point is regular points on an observable trend line or similar, most simply the lowest prices seen should be ascending and also the highest price seen in a week or month would also regularly be higher.    We dont have that, its just in a range and sideways alot of the time so really hard to be taken apart and called as within either type of trend.   Consolidation is how'd I label this kind of market.
1469  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: May 25, 2023, 10:18:42 PM
We had BTC positive this year but the pace of gains now is not how I'd describe as run, more of a idle stroll chewing some grass maybe.   BTC always shows the possibility of large movements but its resolving back to zero or very little movement for many weeks now, so not really a run not really negative either.
I do remember this price area because I wanted to buy here previously, the movement tailed off in this area and that was when it regained.   If I get another chance to buy into weakness that would be ideal, maybe a bad news day for markets in some way? I'll move up the tiers

If you get the inverse win, 0001 should give you 13 sats as a minimum for the rest of the week.   It wont be a bonus for everyone though, some already have that much so as a joke that wouldnt work.  Maybe 113 sats, I forget what the maximum free roll can be built upto for the biggest players on scale.

1471  Economy / Speculation / Re: Herding cats on: May 24, 2023, 10:29:23 PM
So long as every step is higher then the last then its a bull run but we can take a couple months to go up in any noticeable way.   We've been waiting since March to do anything so we are more like sitting then running bulls or not :p

Recent action has been lower then the best BTC price action but its not declined regularly either, hence sitting down a bit resting I suppose is still ok.   Even with this news I wouldnt imagine its near to moving upwards, the chart I guess would give us a clue and it isnt presently.   I will however keep checking if we moving through any boundaries further down.

So just in a basic view, moving and staying above 26.5k would help the positive narrative develop but losing that bottom rung on the ladder about 25.8k would appear bad.   Im not bullish till we leave this area 27.6k broken, kept as a low; at present BTC is in slo mo mode  Undecided
1472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wrong Predictions as price keep failing! on: May 23, 2023, 11:56:09 PM
Another day and its still not falling, it has fallen back but BTC and every price chart when look at will occasionally do that.  We get positive action, there is some sell and it pulls back and so it continues quite normally in this way; its not yet significant.  We're looking for something new and its yet to occur, all these prices since March 19th its still just moved about a bit up and down and back again but nothing new.
Holding this higher area of BTC price compared to the first prices of the year has still put us in a positive area, it cant be viewed as acting negatively while doing nothing much at all.  Maybe next week or tomorrow we do move down but I dont like to jump the gun and presume the worst when theres no particular advantage in doing so.
1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: May 23, 2023, 11:26:45 PM
85 year old Grandma knows where its at, experience beats enthusiasm.  Most people quit but clearly an 85 year old has the gravitas to know just how long it takes to win.   The slots have changed over the years some, its possible your grandma had benefited from seeing all the various aspects to the games.  The cycle theory to wins etc.   I've mentioned before one of the craftiest players I saw was a bar man who would hop on machines after people quit having put in alot of money but won little.  He no doubt considered it a job bonus, literally he is there for 12 hours a day and is forced to watch the full cycle of win/loss and I think this gives the perspective to win; my theory.
1474  Economy / Speculation / Re: Know your time to HOLD on: May 22, 2023, 11:59:00 PM
25k target should be not fixed like its an unmoving signpost for direction.   Remember we are talking dollars in the price, its crypto but also FIAT value is mixed into that price so its a jugglers dilemma nothing is fixed here its all actively changing everyday.   The Dollar has no fixed value, its greatly in demand perhaps but everyday for some time now its lost value and so prices cant be considered to be absolute not accurate especially over years and recently inflation has been double figures so up your expectation to volatility, to the flow rate of alterations of all kinds of price even in crypto.
1475  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the US default a reality? on: May 22, 2023, 11:52:29 PM
Soft default is a reality, hard default is speculative.   France just soft defaulted on its pension obligations to much protest but that will go ahead as they cannot afford to pay excess costs.
A soft default is gradual, a reduction in value not agreed but nominally repaid perhaps.  The inflation and failure to retain value in currency is so regular the FED aims for it to be consistent as a target to achieve.   This is a soft default, currencies paper or otherwise are designed to hold value not lose it on purpose.  Hard default would be absolute zero tomorrow, the paper or cotton dollar would only be worth the value of 2nd hand cotton not so much.   In the great depression when they ate the grain, they used the bag as clothes for kids thats the kind of event likely in a default scenario.
1476  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto prices crash as threat of war looms on: May 22, 2023, 11:49:09 PM
The drone attack on Kremlin was pathetic as I understand it, I suppose it could be used as an excuse for wars and actions to advance war, violence and death in general but no one actually believes NATO had anything to do with something so tiny.   There is no question both sides are able to cause a great amount of harm, the reason to do so is lacking and quite obviously war would be pointless is altering anything to an advantage, that news was about propaganda and advancing the narrative for a public to believe; it was nonsense as any strategic military move.

Today there is some larger news from a renegade division attacking their own birth country.  They should not be doing this in middle of a preexisting war but its far more believable considering how divided Russia must be in its desire to further propagate death both of enemies and their own people in that process, people who have lost relatives for no actual wider purpose must be sore to say the least.

So far as BTC is concerned I dont see the ongoing mess of war is something that should weigh on pricing especially, its noise unpleasant but quite consistently bad rather then a shock especially.   We wont alter much from that direction imo, there is a trend and that should be observed over months and the next year.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: May 22, 2023, 11:15:23 PM
I've played free games and also won money and I had fun playing the game also, so there's no definite disqualifier between all those.  Usually gambling is money but also we are in the sector of the economy that at least originally started off as virtual value and now everyone says its 100% real value but the origins are still real to me in that people here will gamble anything even virtual tokens with unknown value.
I can gamble anything and have fun, if I end up with the most tokens then in competitive terms I was the #1 in that game and its victory even without money.
1478  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: May 22, 2023, 09:54:47 PM
To some extent its not in the past, its ongoing.  We had weird and bad cases of the flu in prior decades, the strange case with this one was how it spread and its gigantic diversity in effects.    Some people caught this and felt zero change and some caught it and either died or will suffer effects for the rest of their lives; I cant remember any other disease that can be so different.  It wasnt just about age either, there was far more factors then age, some people died who never had health concerns or any pre condition suggesting fatal vulnerability.  So its been very different in its propagation but the idea of some kind of covid type virus spreading is here in 2023 and will happen in 2024 and other years but we hope not ever that exact lethal combination of fatal and easily spread by stealth.

I know someone who caught covid 19 variant in this month and just has a cough, its not pleasant but they can carry on; their workplace demanded they attend in person despite illness which is wrong imo.   The unique combination that was fatal I hope we do not see anytime soon, by accident or whatever other reasons bought this about; details remain still very unclear imo.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Chat GTP destroy poker on-line gambling??? on: May 22, 2023, 05:59:19 PM
I can find Poker sites that will help me decide the odds on the hand I have in front of me and what possible strategies to decide, however its clunky and requires some effort for me to enter manually in the middle of playing.   I presume any AI bot is going to interface and help me do it all automatically, I might only have to click a button.   Thats the danger that it becomes easier for the computer to help you then people to think for themselves.    They can monitor for software running like this I presume and ban it but they'll always be someone looking for an advantage; its still the case some people can do this in their heads anyway.

I totally love your dedication on spinning the roll though. I would not even last few days consistently spinning those rolls,
Its worth doing due to the transformative way BTC price has moved through multiple orders of magnitude higher.   So when I first heard of BTC it was right near its launch, because Im on a tech forum have been for decades.  I was involved in PGP back in 2000 while it was banned also SETI@home a few other things back then (partly that explains the anonymity of Satoshi imo) so BTC was nothing much at all and even the (casual) users thought well this wont last past the end of year its just a fad or apparition whatever a momentary thing. But my failure in optimism was poorly placed and I already knew some of the background, ongoing currency weakness will accelerate etc.   That lack of foresight is not especially forgivable hence I do think its worth doing the faucet spin at a minimum etc.   because 100k BTC or similar silly sounding targets are somehow feasible and a little bit now will actually be worth more later hence I remain optimistic quite justifiably at this point tbh.

I've rolled it over 10,000 times, pretty surprising as I dont sit there with an alarm clock waking in the night to spin it 24 hours a days lol Cheesy    What I seem to remember is that despite that 10k times, I would need to spin 20k times to actually say my chances of hitting the top prize are even, is that correct?  Something to do with the rounding up or down way of deciding numbers I think, so getting the top prize is actually twice as hard as it appears.
I cannot ever remember getting the 20 dollar prize or higher prizes, I would say so if I got some good luck just to encourage others but cant remember as such.  However tbh I often barely look at the spin result, I click and you know I'm checking messages or whatever I might have missed it I suppose.    Spin history is also shown under the multiply game tab and also the wheel spins, in case you lose track briefly like I might.
