Poor quality and unconstructive posts will not be tolerated on this campaign. You don't need to write an essay with each post but one word replies in spammy off topic threads or streams of constant half-assed one liners will immediately get you removed. Please just put some effort in to your posts and you'll be fine.

Seems like they don't want spam this time... But 140posts say otherwise.

Where is this stated? Pretty sure I wrote that somewhere.

Here: https://yobit.net/en/signature/details/

Yeah, turns out I did write that when I took over their campaign:

I've added the following to the op:

Rule update:

Poor quality and unconstructive posts will no longer be tolerated on this campaign. You don't need to write an essay with each post but one word replies in spammy off topic threads or streams of constant half-assed one liners will immediately get you removed. Please just put some effort in to your posts and you'll be fine.

Users with negative feedback from defaulttrust members are no longer permitted on the campaign. If you sign up you will be removed.

Any user who hasn't made a post in over a month will also be removed.

Please report any spammers or users with negative feedback directly to me. Thanks.

A hollow warning for them if there's seemingly nobody running their campaign here.

This should be ban evading.

So seems to me that Xinarae* has already saved (draft) all or some of his 20 posts needed and today he only had to click to post button, and this explains how was he able to post 2 to 3 posts in under 2 mins.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's a bot where someone can just write up a large number of posts and then slowly use their stash of posts over time. Neat observation.

This sort of behaviour is probably more common than people think, especially if you have a lot of accounts and you can get away with it very easy in generic spam threads. I suspect it's been happening even more lately especially on the Stake campaign.

BTW, Xinarae* is currently serving out a second ban for spamming/post-bursting. Interestingly enough, there's an account named Xinarae which is permabanned: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=844011 Xinarae May 19, 2016

His last post was on September 07, 2016. Xinarae* signed up on September 12, 2016 so this is probably ban evasion.

Yep.

1466  Other / Meta / Re: How a select few users of the forum finessed you all (NSFW) on: April 13, 2019, 05:13:48 PM
I believe cryptohunter already detailed this in full here. He correctly stated that the subjective and practically meaningless merit scores and sources should be far removed from the other control system trust. It is quite terrible how they had him banned for posting the truth in response generally to their own viscous attacks upon him, that consisted of nothing other than lies and fabrications, then traced through his post history to find some 1 word posts, to provide excuse to finally get rid of him.

Is really CH is banned in this forum?
CH looks active today but not posted for last 4 days. BPIP do not mention CH as banned but no post by CH in last 4 days look surprising.

Not that I know of. He's not currently banned and if he was it must have been a short one.

Teamsters Internet SEctor, Big Boobies talkinDoubleD and Nigerian CocoPalm Farmer are probably the same user.

People need to stop feeding trolls. Maybe any Newbie account spouting the same old nonsense should just be given the silent treatment. I'm sure we could get the merit mafia regulars to agree to it but there's too many sig spamming shitposters who are more than happy to chime in for it to be truly effective. Shadowbanning works wonders for trolls though. When their bait doesn't catch they soon realise they're wasting their time.

I would like video proof that I am an alt of someone as moronbozo claims in required.
Come now, if you're going to pretend not to be an alt of someone, the least you could do is invent new insults:

This latest thread though is brilliant, you get to spam your sig at my expense, whilst accusing me of spamming not a sig but rather I am spamming words. That is excellent moronbozo.

I laughed out loud at moronbozo. Was cryptohunter actually banned? He's not currently so must have been given a short one if so.

Stop feeding trolls. This guy and both Big Boobies talkinDoubleD and Nigerian CocoPalm Farmer are probably the same user.

If you want to waste your time and start a Union then go on then, but Meta isn't the place to do it.
1469  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: April 11, 2019, 03:24:28 PM
This was posted in Bitcoin Discussion:

hi guys, yesterday i purchased iphone xs max 256gb original for $1.189 with bitcoin and the morning i saw my dog eat half screen of the phone, front camera and the left buttons is missing.. is there anyway apple to replace it with another phone for free?

Why everyone saying "This topic is not belong to bitcoin discussion" everyone knows that.. i was lazy to find the right section, and there are moderators who can move the topic.

I was debating with myself whether this sort of laziness is banable offence.

I unbanned it.

So can I start making those condoms for real? Tongue
They're pretty cheap in large quantities, but for condoms I wouldn't trust some random internet brand.
Pencils are risk free, and can be custom made even cheaper.

Maybe finger condoms for when we have to respond to trolls on this forum.

Grin. Can we get a brain condom for when we have to read posts by cryptohunter? Maybe bitcointalk branded tin foil hats would be a good idea.

1475  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned - Limx Dev - Reason is a one-year-old message on: March 29, 2019, 01:29:14 PM
I think this shouldn't be treated as plagiarism. It looks like a message from the Team, posted by 2 different team members.
The original was posted by dishware, who also created this topic. I think it's obvious he doesn't think Limx Dev plagiarized his work. It looks like a double post from different accounts, I don't think that justifies a ban.

Well I would probably agree, especially if they're on the same team. The potential merit abuse can be looked at separately.
1476  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned - Limx Dev - Reason is a one-year-old message on: March 29, 2019, 12:56:32 PM
What exactly was plagiarized ? It cannot be this for sure, this is a text book legal reply.

The one of the probable reasons why 'Limx Dev' profile was banned.

I'm offering a £10 legally obtained e amazon gift card for £13 bitcoins. I can't sell it for £10 because I won't make any profit. pm me if interested.
the gift card code will be sent via email.

I'm looking to sell this £10 note below for £13. Would you be interested in it? I need £13 because I can't sell it for what it's worth. That would be stupid.

1479  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: CONSTANT SPAMMING (YoutubeTV) Please Help Me Moderator on: March 24, 2019, 05:08:01 PM
Users aren't banned for merely scamming, but I banned him for the spam bumping (+ ban evasion), but it's not going to stop him from scamming. He'll just use another account. I agree feedback should be shown to non-registered users but people also should also be doing a lot of research on who they do business with and they certainly shouldn't be sending bitcoins to people they don't trust.
1480  Other / Meta / Re: [Spam Accusation]The Prince Of Egifts [Bump Spam] on: March 24, 2019, 11:58:13 AM
I banned him. He's been warned about the bumps before. He won't be missed.

Please qoute the rule where it says " you can't bump a thread using sockpuppets".
 Roll Eyes

You can't create new accounts just to get around a rule. The rule is there to stop this sort of spam and people have been banned for this before.

He seems to think he's a mod here too:

Huge vouch for Prince of Egift. Purchased 600 Amazon giftcard for $250 through cash app. Received my giftcards within 5 minutes. Will definitely buy again.
