1461  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 Bitcoin is 1 Bitcoin no matter what the price ... on: February 12, 2015, 03:32:56 PM
Well if everybody looks at it that way. It will take off your mind and obsession about price movement
1462  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today I bought out of greed. on: February 12, 2015, 03:27:39 PM
What's the amount of money do you have in hand to buy the coins? 1000 per weeks sounds progressive
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold to the moon on: February 12, 2015, 03:18:54 PM
Should I sell my gold now (/buy euros) or still wait until ECB easing starts?

You are not joking are you when you said you are going to sell your gold for euro?Huh
1464  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Andreas Antonopoulos said Give Bitcoin Two Years on: February 12, 2015, 03:15:47 PM
Would you agree or not?
Bitcoin Only Needs Two Years
Starting from when?

Mt. Gox started trading Bitcoins four years ago.

Two years from now, though I don't know why he or anyone else makes these sort of baseless predictions. If they're wrong they look pretty silly so that's why I stay out of speculating on the price or rate of adoption. We can only wait and see what the future holds.

maybe he's so sure about it that he decides it's a safe enough bet.

and i think he's right.

It's a pretty risky thing to say for your reputation, but indeed in two years, bitcoin should be pretty much established, or well on it's way.
in two years time we would have reached the halving and i believe we should see something when that happens.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to hide your bitcoin? on: February 12, 2015, 03:10:44 PM
Donation wallet - localbitcoin - sell the coins - localbitcoin - buy back the coins. You pay the spread and incur some losses but all that would hide yourself
1466  Economy / Speculation / Re: Still holding?? on: February 12, 2015, 12:47:40 PM
We've been holding a looong and tough 2014. Why not a little longer
What if a black swan hit the market right after you sell, will you regret it?

I would go with that. I'm buying with money i can afford to lose so no worry. Holding on....
1467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Next For Hong-Kong Cryptocurrency? on: February 12, 2015, 12:37:01 PM
^^^
To put all the blame on bitcoin reflects on how shallow the knowledge and information people have about bitcoin. Sadly there's nothing we can do about it.  Cry
1468  Economy / Speculation / Re: Today I took a shit and... on: February 12, 2015, 12:27:06 PM
Lol...Mine looks like 9. Let's see whose prediction is more accurate.
1469  Economy / Speculation / Re: Digital currencies ‘to falter in 2015’ on: February 12, 2015, 12:21:45 PM
It's just a prediction. Nobody will ever correctly foresee what would happen to bitcoin.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin dealing massive blow to Western Union on: February 12, 2015, 09:22:08 AM
The reason why people still stick to the send-over-the-counter practise is mainly because not many people knows about bitcoin existence in the first place especially those who are not tech savvy. This will change in years to come. For the moment, If anybody is willing to help these people by setting up an intermediate btc sending/receiving service... if there is any
1471  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen if we go lower than $215? on: February 11, 2015, 03:24:44 PM
If it does bitcoin will still be there. It's not the end of the world.
1472  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is there a corelation between QE and bitcoin bubbles? on: February 11, 2015, 03:17:32 PM
If there is a connection, does that mean that price going down right now is because of the money being withdrawn back from the market?
1473  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would I only have invested my money in... on: February 11, 2015, 03:13:31 PM
If I bought gold at $600 7 years ago that would be 300% gain when sold 2 years back or 200% gain if sold right now.
1474  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium removed from Google Play on: February 11, 2015, 02:49:44 PM
Damn! What happened to their BitCoin then?
As long as the app is already installed, you should be fine.  Or, whenever you're able to reinstall it you can restore your backup.  Personally, I don't trust any single wallet.  I generate a private key using MultiBit, save it on a flash drive or paper, and import it into Mycelium.  That way I have access to the same wallet on my PC and my phone.  You just need to make extra sure that your PC is clean.

so better be sent directly to another wallet?
afraid that something bad will happen, and choose a safer wallet

Read all the previous posts. Your coins are still with you where you can still access using the app. Removal from google play has no bearing whatsoever.
1475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Community Test on: February 11, 2015, 02:38:51 PM
Whether your bitcoin is still there or not after 10 days how will that help to tell you whether this community is where you wanna be. What's the logic behind it?
1476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hongkong wants to ban Bitcoin!! Bitfinex, Huobi, Okcoin in danger!!! on: February 11, 2015, 02:18:47 PM
You sure you got everything right over there? Except for Bitfinex, Okcoin and Huobi headquarters are located in Beijing.
1477  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Adam Draper Invests in 24 More Bitcoin Companies on: February 11, 2015, 12:23:06 PM
I agree, price movement is really boring at the moment. But anyway, talking about the investment does anybody has the list of all the 24 bitcoin companies?
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hong Kong lawmakers urge ban on bitcoin on: February 11, 2015, 12:12:24 PM
Oh no, this has nothing to do with bitcoin. Just because some bad apple which runs a company which so called relates to bitcoin, spoils the day, doesn't mean that it is bitcoin's fault. Somebody really needs to step up and explain all these to those people and clear the misconception.
1479  Bitcoin / Mycelium / Re: Mycelium removed from Google Play on: February 11, 2015, 11:59:33 AM

The app has always been a free version. I hope they don't confused with the ability to set the fee setting as a means of paying to mycelium.
1480  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Question about exchanger's order book on: February 11, 2015, 11:52:32 AM
Basically if there are several sellers, all at the same price (65 sat) you will just have to wait for your turn. I'm sure the system will calculate which order are placed first. sometimes when I managed to sell, there will still be some amount left at that price which means that it is a "first come, first serve" basis.
Unless you are offering to sell at 64 sat, then it will be instant.
