1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Realizing the value of holding cash on: October 19, 2022, 09:58:08 PM
I am running out of money from buying all these amazing coins and tokens, because I know they are at the bottom.
Not all coins/tokens will go up again in the next bear market. Remember that.  I have some ugly experience from the previous bear market, trying to hold onto shitcoins that never saw the light of day in the 2021 bull run.

But yeah, the best time is buy is when the market looks unattractive, the best time to sell is when the market looks very good. Do not be so greedy.
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Possible ETH Exploit in the wild ! on: October 19, 2022, 09:44:37 PM
But this is definitely not a hack, otherwise all the savings would be stolen.
I am not technical guy but some analysists have confirmed that it's an attack of sorts where the hacker profits from returned gas fees

This tweet has some details - https://twitter.com/Supremacy_CA/status/1582789430368092160
1483  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is this possible? on: October 19, 2022, 08:44:49 PM
The most common scenario is through a keylogger, which is some form of surveillance tool that is used to monitor every keystroke you make on your device. The recorded keystrokes which may include the victim's log in credentials are then sent to the hacker.

A keylogger can either be in form of a software or hardware. But for the hardware to be used, the hacker has to physically access your device and install it.
1484  Economy / Reputation / Re: Goodbye Pandukelana2712 - Thanks for your contribution. on: October 19, 2022, 08:29:50 PM
I remember Pandukelana2712, His username popped up a dozen times in the gambling discussion boards if I recall well, though it's now a distant memory, and then he disappeared. Little did I know that he died.

He seemed to be a cool-headed guy. May his soul rest in peace.

I think the Admin can do something about the account if you send a request to him.
1485  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam by YoYa for $50 on: October 18, 2022, 09:47:31 PM
For the record I don't have any sympathy for OP. Both OP and YoYa was doing unethical ID verification. But this case makes me realize that people are at risk to response Yoya's service thread and he will not pay them later. This deserves a tag with warning which I am going to leave on his wall.
I think a red flag is also equally important, especially for newbies and guest users. So I am creating one

1486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: The future of Axie Infinity on: October 16, 2022, 09:55:30 PM
I just doubt they will... I think axie is going to end up going down as another shitcoin
Just like the path every other hyped token has gone through before even after raising a lot of funds. Coins like EOS still keep echoing in my mind whenever I think about a very "successful ICO"

Edit: looks like they raised $153 million at the start of 2021, I wonder what that was spent on.
Tequila on the Beach for the devs?
1487  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: btc transactions on: October 16, 2022, 09:40:21 PM
First of all there is no way to find an exchange's addresses completely, we may identify some but not a complete list of addresses. And if you deposit to an exchange wallet it doesn't mean the exchange will keep the funds in there all the time, as far as I know exchange keep moving most of their funds to their cold storage so they can avoid complete loss in case of hack or something.

About the question all the transactions are stored digitally and anyone can view it, but it will be easier only if there is one input and one output while exchanges mostly have multiple input and multiple outputs so that is why you can't see that 8BTC in an output probably it maybe splitted and sent to multiple addresses.
It's true that you can't find an exchange address completely is because many exchanges have different addresses use per user when they deposit crypto to their account in that exchange. I have tried finding myself but didn't find it at all so I have to give up finding their address.
Some tools make it possible to find out which address belongs to which exchange, but of course this does not always happen if the input's of an exchange's address are not spent in the same block and sent to another hot wallet address or cold wallet
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Ethereum is Dropping After the Merge? on: October 16, 2022, 09:19:29 PM
If the merge was supposed to fix many of Ethereum’s problems, why is its value still tanking? Huh Huh
I think you don't know how the market works.

Demand and supply dictate the price, not the merge or token swap bullshit. People bought ETH right before the merge because the wanted to get that airdrop of ETHW. Obviously after the snapshot or merge they started selling, thus the price tanking, but It hasn't tanked that much. I wonder what you would have to say if ETH price went below $500
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum becoming censoring complaint? on: October 16, 2022, 08:59:20 PM
ETH was slow and expensive but decentralized.
Expensive fees yes, but was it ever slow?

if I recall well, even with POW, new blocks were being confirmed within seconds. Something like 10 to 20 seconds on average

Now its centralized, slow and expensive. Good luck fighting competitors now.
It still had a big advantaged over shit chains though, like BSC  Grin

1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 16, 2022, 08:35:42 PM
the great Manchester City who is the star club in both the premiere and champion league since last season,
Who lied to you?
Since when has Manchester City been a star of the Champion's League?
Need I remind you what happened last season?

.Liverpool was becoming a more powerful football team for now.
Haha really? Not so long ago, they lost to Arsenal.

They made huge defensive game after the goal and defend full game with 1 goal is not an easy one.
it's funny that Klopp at one point criticized other teams for being defensive after taking a lead
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: October 16, 2022, 08:24:52 PM
Lewandoski from 2 weeks, at the opposite of Champions League, although they risk to not be able to play there after the group stage..
Which begs the question

Was Lewandowski's form at the start of the season a one0-off, or he's having a little breather. He has lately not been very effective in big matches or those that are very vital. Maybe the fatigue is taking a toll on him. For sure, I don't understand why Barca offloaded Aubameyang. He would have been a good backup for Lewy.
1492  Economy / Reputation / Re: DT, will somebody tag this man???????? on: October 15, 2022, 09:53:40 PM
Maybe, OP can remind FFrankie with his main account if the OP really cares.
Though it doesn't really matter since the site is currently offline, In good spirit, I am going to send FFrankie a PM about this if no one has done it yet. I hope it doesn't haunt me later, and I am accused of being OP's alt account  Grin
1493  Economy / Reputation / Re: Royse777 is Casino Critique on: October 15, 2022, 09:15:11 PM
Yes Royse777 not only helped to keep secret that AnotherAlt was Naim027, a known cheater and plagiarist while evading the ban, but also included him in his Casino Critique project.
Funny how he chose the AnotherAlt username and It was right in our faces this whole time

I don't care if those of you who are his friends fill me with retaliatory negative feedbacks.

I will think about it in the next few hours.
I don't think any sensible DT member would send retaliatory feedback.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 15, 2022, 08:55:16 PM
At least for now the Chelsea fans are not too worried about Tuchel's departure because at the moment their form is slowly picking up and of course this is something very good for them.
At the moment Chelsea are still unbeaten after having Potter there and of course with their 3 wins to date they are back on a good run in the Premier League table.
Even Tuchel wasn't that bad when he started off his campaign at Chelsea, but the ungrateful board wasn't patient with him afterwards, even after giving them UCL trophy. Still too early to conclude that Potter will do better, let's give it about 6 months or end of this season.,
1495  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Every war is a war on children on: October 14, 2022, 09:58:04 PM
I guess it's just human nature that we have to fight sporadically, regardless of the century or generation, even the holy books talk of wars. Sometimes I wonder if God really cares at all. Well, animals have fights too, but I don't think it goes to a large scale as humans. It's usually between males that want to dominate the territory or maybe when they are fighting for prey.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: October 14, 2022, 09:38:20 PM
there are rumors that real madrid are interested in newcastle united's Bruno Guimarães. the brazilian midfielder BG admitted this week that real madrid have "opened a conversation" following his impressive form in the premier league since his £35 million move from olympique lyon in january
I sort of think Real is going a bit overboard with all the midfilders they are bringing in. I know they will gradually shift from those iconic trio of Casemiro/Kross/Modrić to younger players but they already brought in a couple of very good players like Valverde, Camavinga and Tchouameni while there are still Ceballos and Vasquez looking for their chance. Modrić also plans to retire there and he should be good for at least half of the games in the next season as well. Kroos is speaking about leaving so I am not counting him.
Perhaps they could be having plans to offload one of the 2 (Ceballos or Vasquez). I understand why they are investing a lot in bringing in quality midfielders. Replacing Casemiro may have worked, but replacing Modric and Kroos is going to be one big, hell of a task.
Kroos may seem to have aged, but the way he controls the temple of the game and those inch perfect crosses from him that turn into goals in the dying minutes of the game are some qualities you don't get from an average midfielder. As for Modric, I can't even imagine the day he decides to retire.
1497  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: List of Bitcoin Companies on: October 14, 2022, 08:48:13 PM
I am curious about what does mean Bitcoin company. Bitcoin doesn't have any companies.
I think he was trying to mean companies that are related to bitcoin (Like exchanges, custodial services, Bitcoin mining services etc.) though the term he chose is vague because I am sure there are thousands and thousands of companies and services related to Bitcoin
1498  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin Technical Analysis on: October 14, 2022, 08:36:17 PM
Try crypto twitter or YouTube. There are a handful of expert traders that keep posting their technical analysis charts or even do live trading. Beware that some are just fake treaders.

Tradingview also has an ideas stream feature where traders post their TAs and predictions. Just make sure you don't follow what they say religiously, but learn from how they carry out TA so that you can do it for yourself later.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 13, 2022, 09:52:42 PM
Well if Erling Halland will not play for Manchester City Liverpool will have a chance of winning against them, just like in yesterday's game of Manchester City VS Copenhagen the game was a draw because for some reason Erling Halland didn't play, I guess Manchester City had an Erling Halland Syndrome, where they are relying more on their goaler and now that he is not playing they are lost without him, which is not a great quality of Manchester City,
Did you find out why he didn't play?

Maybe the exact reason he didn't play was because he was being rested for the Liverpool game  Grin
So if you are a Liverpool fan out there, don't even have any hope this early that he won't feature in the match unless if there is some injury news that I didn't come across.

Also can we confirm if all the matches City lost points in, Haaland did play in them?

Manchester United 1 Vs Omonia Nicosia 0

After making several goal attempts without results, Manchester United found the back of the net in the last minute of the game.
Good saves from the Omonia Nicosia goal keeper Francis Uzoho, Manchester United should have scored More than 4 goals if not for the beautiful saves made by the Nigeria born goal keeper Uzoho. Scott Mctominay scored the only goal in the game for United in 93+  after United fans have almost given up because the players couldn't get a goal despite all the shots and possession in the game.

So happy to see United win tonight I believe the players will be motivated to do better in their next game.
I watched the match till around the 88th minute and thought it was going to end in a 0-0 draw, only to read from here that it actually ended 1-0 in favor of Manchester United. How heartbreaking it must have been for Omonia Nicosia.

So, I am just wondering, who scored the last minutes goal for Manchester United?
