Here is an edited version of my mining guide. I realised I had two step 3's.
Can SPR be mined on linux? If so, can you add the directions for that? Ok fine. I guess i'll need to install it and figure it out but it shouldn't be too hard. Can you pay me half now and the rest when it's done please? Seems fair. Send me your address. Actually I don't think i'll be able to get it to work on Linux. I tried to mine plain X11 on it before but I couldn't get it to work. Edit: Yeah I definately won't be able to get it to work since i'll need to compile the miners and all that stuff and it might not even work. I'd rather not waste my day. Edit 2: Are you going to pay me? How about I pay you 400 now and 100 once you've gotten directions for linux added? Ok sounds good! But I don't think i'll be able to add the linux directions. I'll have a go though. My address is at the bottom of the guide. Thanks MyFarm! You don't necessarily have to figure it out yourself. Have someone else figure it out and send some SPR their way. Should be pretty straightforward -- to confirm, you need miner and spread daemon both running on the same linux box? Don't you also need to install the catalyst control centre drivers and compile the miner? Too much stuff to explain for me. |

Hey MyFarm, was my mining guide good enough? I'm not sure. Let me try and setup mining with it later this evening. A few months ago the mods were closing threads if people were posting giveaway addresses directly in posts, you can get around it by putting your address in the signature instead. Just don't want to see this thread go away...
I thought they only closed threads made specifically for giving away coins. Maybe I'm wrong but it wouldn't make any sense because some FUDers could just spam their addresses and get a coin's thread taken down. |
