1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 24, 2023, 07:16:04 AM
Personally, I have never known or met a woman practicing gambling, and therefore any attempt to make a comparison will necessarily lack objectivity, given that there must be women in this field, albeit in a small percentage.
At the same time, I firmly believe that women generally do not prefer activities that contain high risks, such as gambling or trading. I also believe that this is a genetic difference between men and women, like many other differences between the sexes that can be seen in many statistics ; For example, there are men who commit crimes much more than women, just as there are men who specialize in philosophy more than women. Honestly, I don't think there is a logical explanation other than this.

never meeting women who do gambling does not mean there are no women who do it, women tend to hide their gambling habits more for fear of being labeled by society as women gamblers, when online gambling is increasingly widespread there are many women who are involved in playing in it because women prefer slots over others (sports betting or cards). every human being on this earth doesn't care whether women or men must have a tendency to gamble (regardless of big or small bets) gambling is entertaining and makes every player addicted / curious.

You're right that women actually gambles as well vut we cannot compare the rate to that of how men do, in some cases you will hardly discover seing women gambling such a way that you will think they don't at all because it's very rare to see one just as he has said already, we cannot compare ourselves to how women are because they are always reserved in most cases, they can't appear in most public setting where orderliness is not controlled and can't also afford using their money for gambling.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: June 24, 2023, 07:04:45 AM
If am to also give my preference to what i want concerning receiving bonuses, i will prefer it on a weekly basis because the more one works for it the more they will like to recieve pay for the same week they have completed the task before another week rolls in, this is what is so common to many gamblers that have also been interested in Hunting after bonuses, the rewards are best received along with the progress as received.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lotteries and possibility vs. probability on: June 24, 2023, 06:20:43 AM
There's high rate of applying for lottery, low rate of winning possibilities and the probability of getting certainty remain unsure because thise applying aren't familiar with wether of the outcome to be positive or not, aleo due to these, there have been low performance and anticipation for lottery as many equally loose interest despite it time consuming aside the fact that the winning chance is low for lottery.
1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: Why do you still want to play fake web2 casinos? Why we choose web3 casinos on: June 24, 2023, 05:52:41 AM
Since we are blessed enough to have the opportunity to use either the web2 or web3 casino gambling, we cannot arrived at the conclusion that one is fake over the other because they both serve different aspects under same purpose for better gambling experience for it users, there's no doubt that many of them have already upgraded to the web 3 technology because they realizes that it's what people want more these current dispensation.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why People Still Gamble? on: June 24, 2023, 05:27:59 AM
No matter what parents say to such people, they understand the risks on the gambling industry. Life is all about odds and gambling has no difference on this subject, understanding odds and getting back something for being "lucky" shouldn't be as bad as other bad activities, IMO. The fun factor alone is enough to explain why gambling is still popular and it is in huge demand by many people.

If the government cannot stops gambling then I don't think the people can, gambling is not what we can commonly assume to be easily dealt with collectively except the individuals wishes to stop or avoid it due to some unavoidable reasons or circumstances, gambling has given many people the opportunities to be where they are today because they have developed deeper understanding in it since they have been gambling for some time.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 24, 2023, 05:11:29 AM
Hard to decide. Zuck looks like he is a soyboy but he is also a reptilian so we don’t know which tricks he is hiding under his sleeve. Elon on the other hand is a real world Tony Stark. He also packs some serious tech and can make anything go boom in seconds. If I had to make a guess, I would bet on Elon because I believe in the tech like all bitcoiners. Elon is pro crypto too so it made my decision very easy.

It is we that always give a much higher concentration on aspect like this especially when it comes to debating on them or for gambling because they themselves don't really got moved by all this when they were both busy running on more advanced way of technology advancement to administer better offer for the community/world at large, they both have an open mindset on ideas for invention of new things.
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Big is the online gambling industry today? on: June 24, 2023, 05:00:14 AM
It's very interesting how the Internet has made gambling very popular are easy to access, because currently distance cannot be a barrier to it cause many people around the world can easily log into different bookies site and gamble at the comfort of their home we also know that sport formal used for entertainment is now a avenue to gamble and make predictions and gambling very popular because a lot of different sport fans are willing make  predictions when there teams are going against another, its won't be a thing of suprise anymore to know that ⅓ of the worlds population or more are influenced into gambling through sports like football, Ruby, basketball and so on.

The advancement of the internet or let me say online gambling has made it more a widespread opportunities for people to have access to gambling regardless of their location or whereabouts as long as they can have a medium to access the internet and gambles, also the online gambling platform have also made it in a simplified way to register and get enrolled for online gambling with just few requirements needed which i believe are affordable enough to give while at the point of registration.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Nigerian Father Rejects Son's Gambling Win on: June 24, 2023, 04:47:35 AM
Yes, that can be a possibility, the father's main concern would have been his son getting back again into gambling with the same money that he had won. His refusal in not with the money but how his son got the money. He is now certain that after this win his son might get more deep with this habit. We all know it is a hard habit to stop. After this big win the boy will again try his luck. In most cases they end up with nothing they won.

Well... in that case, it is not a valid argument. The father can take 90% of the money and keep it in a 10-year fixed deposit in any of the local banks. He can give the remaining 10% to his son, to do whatever he likes. But the concern is not without a reason. I personally know a few people who went bankrupt in a few months after winning the lottery jackpots. And then we have the example of Jack Whittaker, the American lottery winner who ended up with his family broken and living in penury a few years after winning the Powerball jackpot of $314.9 million.

Parents will always be right in this kind of situations because they best understand well how thier children can best behaved or perform in some apsect in life, sone parents don't even give a take on gambling and can't allow their children engage in such when they believe there are many other vocational learning skills they can learn and know while they are still expected to focus on their schools than running after gambling.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: June 24, 2023, 04:33:26 AM
would you prefer to gamble in a casino and make some money or learn about futures trading and make some money?

We first need to make the clarification that they are both not thesame thing and are different from each other, when you are trading, you choose a particular method or pattern for your trading and you don't loose your entire investment on it, when you're gambling, you already know that this is an investment so you risk loosing your entire money on it as well, so as far as they are different from each other, things cannot happened the same way in them both.
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Confident Are You In The Reliability of the KYC system on: June 24, 2023, 04:21:03 AM
Well, it's tricky to deposit in some casinos that have that "optional KYC" if you are not ready to complete it if needed. I am the one who doesn't like KYC, and I will avoid it whenever I can, but in case of some problem with "taking the money out of the casino" I am ready to complete the KYC procedure.

I guess if someone is confident to deposit and play in some casino should be comfortable with the KYC system as well. Especially if some higher amounts are in question... you trust them with your money why shouldn't you trust them with some additional info?

there is a lot of debate regarding KYC in online casinos. Using KYC as one of the conditions for withdrawing a certain amount also has the aim of identifying users so that they are not used as places for money laundering. The pros and cons of KYC in online casinos have been around for a long time. But if you really don't agree, you can look for online casinos without KYC.
I only do gambling as entertainment and do not use large funds. Then there's nothing for me to deposit, just a small fund won't go over the limit that requires depositing KYC.

I already know about using this online casinos to have their regulatione base on KYC request and other requirements and that should be what we must have on mind each time we are using them to always give them what they require as long as we are using the kyc casinos, if we cannot afford leaving our private information open to them then going by the option of few casinos that doesn't support kyc requirements is a good take for us as well.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you been threaten to stop gambling on: June 24, 2023, 04:11:11 AM
Women are naturally good managers and that's why in the kitchen they don't allow stuff go to waste. You friend wife after calculating the whole losses together and thinking of what such amount could have provided for the family either for foodstuffs or a nice gown or pairs of shoes to her collection she had to take up the decision on threatening your friend her husband to discontinuing from gambling or face a separattion if he still gonon with it.  I haven't had any situation where I got threatened by any family member or girlfriend on stopping gambling, but even as that I do understand that this situation needs to be handled with some diplomacy where your friend need to save his marriage against gambling because his gambling colleagues would not always be there for him but family would forever be there no matter what. Wife first before anything like gambling.
Sometimes it is good for us to listen to women because they can see from afar and know how to help us to make proper plan. Gambling is something that can irritate some persons and this only will make things worse for us if we have friends or woman around us that do not like gambling. If you have a wife that don't it when we gambler because they might be afraid that one can become a gambling addict and it might become very hard to quit if it gets worse, this is why some women would always want to see there men leave gambling and focus on some other things that could give money.

I never experienced such before since am not a kid to be corrected for wrongly doing what is right in an abnormal way, most of us created an avenue for them to see many disadvantages in us to take as reason why they should mount and forward their own advice on us to stop gambling, but if we look at our personal lifestyle and experience in gambling we may see no need to this while an urgent need may be applicable to some because of their critical conditions.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to be blamed, the gambler or the betting agent on: June 24, 2023, 03:59:56 AM
If the gambler haven't requested for credit and if the gambling agent have given credit, then the mistake is with the gambling agent. He knew well that the gambler have already lost, even after that triggering him to try for some win is kind of trap. Here the gambling agent is wrong, he shouldn't have given credit. What he initially lost is nothing compared to what he lost after receiving funds. If the gambler had been left with the loss from his own money, it couldn't affect him big. Now its a big problem for him.
Whether or not a gambler asks for money from a gambling agent is not a matter. Because after losing a gambler will want to borrow money to recover his losses. But it must be ascertained whether the gambler can afford to pay the gambling agent otherwise it would be difficult for them to recover the money. Gambling platforms will lose their business with in moment if they issue such loans in the hope of quick profits. A agent should not provide more than 2x money as loan.
Basically, agents may not lend money to gamblers or allow people who don't have money to play gambling at the casino. In addition, even if a casino lends money to a gambler, it must ensure that the gambler returns it on time and check the person's background before handing over the money. And the casino must ask for guarantees from the person as a replacement if that person cannot return the loan. But that was the first story I heard. Maybe there is a casino that lends money to gamblers. But maybe that's normal in offline casinos.

There's a way we could get more familiar with each other to the extent of taking the risk to neglect the normal procedure or protocols that guide or restricts us from doing some certain things but due to our relationship and rapport level we have over each other, we try to on our own way bend some rules and protocols to make things work for us as to achieving our personal desires, the agent in this has done what even his blood siblings couldn't have done but he eventually proof him wrong as against next time because the gambler is not faithful enough.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 24, 2023, 03:46:01 AM
Friendly match is a little more less being competitive and this makes to come in ease for us to adjust to the dictate of the mandate as a team that we have to play them at ease and at every comfort because no much attention is needed but it's played to know how week and strong a team can appear to be against eac other and also helps to know the measure to the level of their performances each when playing.
1494  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Invest small money and get big money avoid them. on: June 23, 2023, 07:48:33 AM
There are instances we discover seing some people making money in cryptocurrency despite we don't know how they come about arriving at such huge success but all we want is to have same opportunity and experience as theirs, things don't work that way sometimes, we need to make findings and know what are the requirements that backed up such outstanding result and begin to work our own towards towards same direction, it may take a little process and a little while for us to get there while the price is being paid and not that we expect everything boom all of a sudden.
1495  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Whats thought on this on: June 23, 2023, 07:41:54 AM
As we all know that bitcoins is best productive for investors when they go for long term investment, what do you think about  investors who are affected by the economic situation of their country. should such person keep holding even when things are upside down knowing fully that the only hope is to sell their bitcoins even when it has not yield any substantial profit so that they can meet up with life.
Share your thought as regarding this matter.
Before someone should start investing in Bitcoin, such person should know if he be long term or short term investor, crypto as a whole is not for the weak or a money earn quick platform. If their is a a need for him to sell off his assets for food, that's no a problem, if holding is good for him while he had other source of income, that's also fine. But I would assured you that, bitcoin is not something you buy and get rich that very moment, nah, that's false.

Yes, try to take an analysis on your plan wether to go short or long, try to study the bitcoin market price over the years, apply some learning strategies to trading, get used to some of its indicators, speculate on the price on weekly candles on chart, try to learn about this trading strategies and understand them, habe a little experience in using of of them before concluding wether to to for any of your choice base on experience.
1496  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will bitcoin influence the next U.S election? on: June 23, 2023, 07:30:24 AM
It is hard to tell if Bitcoin will influence the next U.S election but it is sure that Bitcoin has a lot of users and holders in the US since I believe this is the reason why one of the US Presidential candidates used the idea of a creation framework that will support Bitcoin as one of his campaign strategies because Bitcoin is the only currency that bonds people together without any limit or race difference all over the world

Don't mind those candidate playing seek and hide under the impression that they support bitcoin adoption and want to use that as a campaign strategy to get more followers, bitcoin has gone beyond politics because it is sustainable enough for it to maintain not dependent of any political influence, they are rather using the avenue to make a promotional efforts for themselves more more opportunities through using this strategy.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: June 23, 2023, 07:21:06 AM
Actually these tasks is just speculation that we hope that we will be given airdrop if we interect with testnet and mainnet , this why these airdrops called retroactive airdrop where no Guranatee for airdrop

This clarified uncertainties is one of the reason why many people to abstain from looking after airdrops because they know they are nothing than just a testnet experimental offers which amount to nothing at the end than a waste of time though it has also been found useful in helping the newbies through their first stage of learning about making a transaction in cryptocurrency among other benefits it serves, people also give this kind of negative approach or feedback on it because they don't like the way it's scam is fast increasing.
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is dead, long live ... what? on: June 23, 2023, 07:14:43 AM
Still no answer to the original question about comparison of the three altcoins. Is this an altcoin forum or what?

If you all think bitcoin is able to resist the NFT/ordinals attack, why don't you go to the main forum, where the attack is discussed? There, some people at least understand the threats it poses (although still no signs of resistance). Maybe you can offer some approaches how to resist the NFT attack if you think it can be overthrown?

When we are discussing about bitcoin, we cannot do without mentioning that it's the most reliable cryptocurrency either people like it or not, the fact the bitcoin is so accomodative to have the inclusion of Inscribed ordinals isn't a vulnerability to the network but a more way to show how diversifying it is, ordinals mean no attack quite alright but what bitcoin did cannot be accomplished by any other crypto n this regards and yet nothing changed about it being affected, bitcoin has cone to remain and stay, with or without ordinals.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 23, 2023, 07:04:16 AM
Is of no doubt the market has already turned green and ETH surpasses 1.9k, though I was having this feeling to enter the market now that we have full confidence that we are no longer going dip. But I am a bit confused if this could be a bear trap, what do you think of the market is there any good analyst to give accurate results on what would happen next or to know if this is a bear trap.

There's nothing like trap in dealing with a digital currency like bitcoin or Ethereum because when the price rises it also falls and this has always been the norms experience over years now, what i see about this sudden increase is the preparation for more attempts to rise high, we've been a little while stayed longer on this dip ever since the beginning of the year, now the market is getting more momentum to rise and change level and shouldn't serve a trap else they might think it's being manipulated.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between pi and bitcoin on: June 23, 2023, 06:58:20 AM
Hello guys,I learnt that pi network is a crytocurrency that is beneficial in the community ecosystem that you can mine with,I want to know their clarified differences and if the pi network and bBTC does same functions.

How will you be comparison sleep with death, pi is still an experimental coin which we never know where it's heading to because i don't much believe in all these cloud mining coins, moreover it's still a testnet and we are not sure about how it will look like anytime soon since it's still not listed or approved yet as a digital coin, but bitcoin is the lead digital cryptocurrencies that has amassed upto $68,000 worth of it all time high and still counting, the are perfectly different.
