1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Suggest me best bounty campaigns that pay in USDT or popular cryptocurrencies on: March 13, 2022, 05:23:59 AM
Bounties: check this board: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=238.0
I would prefer to follow the signature campaign list which has campaigns paid by Bitcoin. Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns.

It is easier to be accepted in Bounties than in BTC-paid campaigns but the latter one is better. You will get paid for sure but in bounties, sometimes you won't get paid or tokens you receive don't worth anything.
1502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: [GUIDE] Trading journal on: March 12, 2022, 02:26:01 PM
I did not use it but I share it to members who need it and hope that it can help OP as well as some of forum members
Portfolio Performance [Open Source] - Keep track of your Crypto Portfolio!.

Have a tool or tracker to manage your portfolio is good. Have good allocation for your capital is more important. Between trading and investment, you will have to allocate appropriate proportion of your capital for them. Trading part should not be big and a main part which should belong to investment.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: March 10, 2022, 01:36:43 PM
Telegram groups mostly attract spam, you can always discuss here, on website there is also live chat but don't know at what hours it tends to be active.
Telegram is paradise for spam and scam. Gold has its announcement channel that is enough. In my opinion, Discord is better because with that platform, people can still text like in Telegram but Gold team can manage it more efficiently. They can create different sub-channel for different purposes: announcement, updates, locals, general chat, etc.
1504  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why is the price of BTC dropping? on: March 10, 2022, 10:31:24 AM
To discover, you should open a chart with weekly candle then you will see how long Bitcoin went through with its bullish mode after breaking $20k. So think of it yourself, is it abnormal if Bitcoin has a long correction after that rise?

If your answer is: Yes, it is very reasonable correction. It is what we have been witnessing since late of 2021. Some indicators reveal that Bitcoin has formed its bottom and just need time to break out. We don't know when it will start rising again but history says April to May are very good months for Bitcoin.

1505  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Inflation is here Why is not Bitcoin Saving Us? on: March 09, 2022, 06:16:38 AM
With Bitcoin, patience is key.

You can not buy Bitcoin today and wish that it will make you richer tomorrow. It requires time and patience along the way. Patience will reward you with profit by holding Bitcoin. Bitcoin is here to save us from bank hyper inflation but it only works if you are able to hold your Bitcoin a few years. Because it takes time for the people to realize hyper inflation from bank systems, then a little more time to recognize the value of Bitcoin as an asset against hyper inflation.
1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New resource to compare platforms generating yield on Bitcoin on: March 09, 2022, 06:10:01 AM
Holding Bitcoin is good enough and I see risk if I have to give up control of my Bitcoin, put my belief on a third party in order to earn yield from them.

Those platforms in order to distribute earnings to their customers, they will have to build a sustainable circular revenue. If they fail, yields they provide are such ones on paper and unsustainable. When they fail to attract new users, new revenue, their platforms will be unable to get new revenue, they will not have new capital resource to distribute yield to current and new customers.

I don't mind about yield and I do mind more about my Bitcoin. Not your keys, not your coins.
1507  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Machine Learning for identifying SCAM NFT Games on: March 08, 2022, 04:42:35 PM
Machine learning can help you to scan source codes and check that whether a source code of one project is similar or clone from other projects. After that, if you see very little activities of coding, developments in their Github, it would be signal of a low quality project. In turn, many low quality projects are from scammers and have unhappy endings.

Scam or not, it is not big matter if in the end, they are all failed projects. As investors, you will lose your capital if you invest in a project which ends as failed or scam.
1508  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: are stable coins BUSD & USDC safe from cyber attacks on: March 05, 2022, 03:53:47 AM
You don't need to be afraid to hold a stable coin because it also has security like other cryptocurrencies.
Likewise with USDT, but you need to know that USDT is not fully protected by the dollar because it has a different fiat. USDT can also be stored wherever we want as long as the wallet we hold is safe and reliable.
It is not true. They are not really decentralized like Bitcoin. Imagine how less decentralized or you can call it centralized when Binance Smart Chain has very little validators on its network. The figure is very small compares to Ethereum network.

Worse, have you known that USDT can be frozen even in your wallet?

PSA: Most Stablecoins Can Be Frozen, Even in Your Own Wallets
USDT banned addresses
1509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Glassnode - Thoughts? on: March 05, 2022, 03:00:46 AM
On-chain data does not lie you. Because whales, market makers have to make movements when they need to accumulate, pump, dump Bitcoin. So if you have on-chain data, it represents what is actually happening. It is just your responsibility to extrapolate data you have and make your own decisions.

All big movements, big trends will need a very long preparation time and with on-chain data, you will see early signal of those plans. It does mean that after you smell a good signal, it still might need months to finish for market makers. Later price will have big movements according to signal you see.
1510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Build A Great Crypto Portfolio on: March 04, 2022, 03:45:11 AM
So.. the summary is pretty much "How to build a great crypto portfolio: just buy good coins to hold for the long term" and separate holdings from trading.
I agree with the approach which is the best.

Because so little people are simply investors or traders. They are mixed between being an investor and a trader so if they don't have good approach and management for their capital, they will not know which capital part is for trading, and which one is for investment. Time goes and they change from investor to trader or from trader to investor.

It is bad in terms of capital manangement and hodl will help you rich, not trading. So it is very bad if you already choose good projects to hold but fail to hold them in the end and fall into trading. Trading mostly will cause loses or you will exit with minor profit and you will miss exponential growths from good projects.
1511  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governments that accept Bitcoin for public services on: March 04, 2022, 02:52:01 AM
You can observe the trackers on CBDCs. It does not automatically mean CBDC launch in a nation will make Bitcoin legal tender in that nation but it is very likely to be legal tender.

CBDCtracker.org. Bitcoin initiated the blockchain industry on which CBDCs rely on for their development and launch. I know CBDCs are backed by governments and they are worse than cryptocurrencies because CBDCs are totally centralized in power of governments and central banks.

However, they will talk bull shit if they launch CBDCs and don't accept Bitcoin. And fortunately, being legal tender or not, people always can use Bitcoin with their non custodial wallets and with Bitcoin centralized network.
1512  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where do daytraders store their crypto? on: March 03, 2022, 02:12:03 PM
Not all day traders store their crypto on CEX.

Nowadays, if you trade your tokens daily, you can store them in non custodial wallets such as Metamask, Trust, Safepal, C98, etc. When you want to trade, connect your wallet to DEX and do trade by swapping.

It is different than you trade on centralized exchanges because on CEX, you will have to leave your crypto on their platforms. However, with CEX, you will have different order types to choose and use.

There are pros and cons and there are two approaches as mentioned.
1513  Economy / Speculation / Re: No FUDs will win the market on: March 02, 2022, 11:01:58 AM
FUD does not need to win or fail against the market. FUD is part of tools used by market makers in order to do their manipulations on the market.
If FUD fails, they don't lose anything, they can try next times. Believe me, FUDs mostly have impacts and mostly great ones on the market so if one or two FUDs fail, no issue with market makers.

Only mentally-weaked participants on the market will fail against FUDs. Bitcoin is good in long term against FUD because it is the King of crypto and has risen a lot since 2009 and might grow more which I strongly believe in.
1514  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will not save Russia from sanctions on: March 02, 2022, 08:42:33 AM
Russia is fine. Russian elites especially Putin are fine if he won't be taken down from his regime.

Only Russians have troubles and we see on media how they panic went to ATMs and banks for money withdrawals. In addition, we can feel how bad their finance is short term when Rube lost its value a lot in the last week. Now there is rumor (I am not sure it has been officially yet) that Putin orders local banks and agencies there don't allow Russians to go abroad with more than $10,000.

What the fucking regime! They can do anything they want on behalf of people.
1515  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Binance donates $10 million to support Ukraine on: February 28, 2022, 05:37:38 PM
The goal on the site is $20,018,837.15 looks like Binance will donate 10 million but to deliver the money they are looking to get another $10M as donations. They already get $5M but they haven't delivered anything. If they really want to help they should donate the $10M and stop asking for donations. This is a tricky move while they use the war for marketing.
Donation fundraising or allocation is not too hard. Binance can use their budget for donation and it will be done quickly. Donation fundraising can hit target quickly too. Unfortunately, with the escalating war, lots of damages on infrastructures for transportations, etc. in Ukraine and also risk of mistakenly damages by the war from both sides, donation distributions by any mean would be difficult and can not be done too soon.

Binance and some big exchanges are doing good things to help Ukrainians as well as to wisely advertise their exchanges to people over the world.
1516  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The state of Bitcoin during the war between Russia and Ukraine on: February 28, 2022, 05:27:14 PM
Rich people in Russia are and will eventually turn to Bitcoin.
Meanwhile, Russian government can not do necessary things to restrict their citizens to use Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. It takes time and lot of resources for them to execute such things which not sure will succeed or fail.

Quote
There's recent news that Putin forbid its citizens to use foreign currencies. He's trying to make them use the russian ruble which is currently at it's lowest price to the dollar ever. Even when Russia announced bankruptcy it was trading higher, so imagine how oligarchs who had billions of USD in rubles must feel.
Local citizens have more intention to store their money in USD rather than in rube. It sucks in eyes of Putin and with his power, he will do strict regulations on his citizens and this in turn will be another thing to prove that he does not actually care about Russian citizens

Quote
They could buy gold but that's hard to move around and getting physical gold takes time, you can't just go and buy a gold bar at a store. Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are the best alternative when your fiat is tanking, so is the stock market, and you can't buy other fiat money because it's banned.
Gold is not flexible and portable if you hold physical gold bars. For digital platforms, I am not sure more sanctions will not target on gold in case the war in Ukraine will be escalated more or last too long. If the war continues too long (which I don't hope it will), more issues will happen and the whole world will react more seriously against Putin and Russia. It will not be a future Russian citizens want to face with. About Putin, I don't know what he does actually care about. Only his power, maybe.
1517  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: February 28, 2022, 05:13:07 PM
You're playing in a pay to earn game and the developer can force to give a change to the game anytime as they want. So many bots played adventures forced the developers to remove the adventures from the game. I have seen that since that day people are only focusing to earn from the arena but again the price of SLP is so low. You need to win every battle to get decent amounts of SLP.  Cool
The success of a game is not too important. The success of a whole in-game ecosystem and the health of its in-game economy are more important. Because no matter how good a game is, it can not attract new gamers forever at a same growth rate. So whenever the growth rate decreases, it will bring negative effects on in-game economy if it mostly relies on linear user growth rate in order to balance the in-game economy.

This approach is unsustainable so that Axie Infinity team are trying to do something to change and fix it. As observers, we can see the growth of Axie Infinity ecosystem already is slow down, temporarily peaked at growth rate.
1518  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The state of Bitcoin during the war between Russia and Ukraine on: February 28, 2022, 05:06:19 PM
It will be good and bad things for Bitcoin.

Because with the successful donation by Bitcoin and cryptocurrency to Ukraine, it proves the power of cryptocurrency and Bitcoin is a leader in this industry. It is a free marketing but at global scale.

The disadvantage can occur when Russia makes Bitcoin legal tender and uses it as one of their ways to avoid traditional sanctions.

In consequent responses to it, many governments might have more aggressive perspective on Bitcoin which we never want to see. However I believe that because of Bitcoin's decentralized network, it won't be killed by any or a few governments.
1519  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine - Russia war crisis. Will Bitcoin be legalized soon? on: February 27, 2022, 04:54:49 PM
Seeing that sanctions are being applied on Russia which has seen several sectors of the economy including the banking sector being affected , if Russia supports bitcoin then chances are high that other countries will pull out of it.... At this moment most countries want to do the opposite of what Puttin and his forces are doing, to register their displeasure. But for now bitcoin has no borders hence i dont really expect much to be affected.
Sanctions on Russia will have effects on Russia and other nations. The world now is globalized so changes in a big nation like Russia will do affect other nations.

It's better for all if they did not start this war but it already started. So now it is better for all if they stop this war as soon as possible. Less sanctions, less deaths, less loses in war expenses and their reputation won't be damaged further. It seems like the whole world support Ukraine. Only a few nations like China, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Belarus ... support Russia. I think the unbalanced support for Russia and Ukraine shows the truth about this war that is non sense.
1520  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine - Russia war crisis. Will Bitcoin be legalized soon? on: February 27, 2022, 04:43:45 PM
Everyone hates war in the world but I feel like starting this war could have an even bigger effect on bitcoin, if you check the situation on these two counties both of them need to use bitcoin for their people and even their governments, Russia is under economic sanctions bu the USA and many nato countries while bitcoin can be the solution for then and people in Ukraine need to cash out their money and migrate to another country I believe this situation will force both countries to use nad legalize bitcoin.
In fact Ukraine does not really need Bitcoin or cryptocurrency, they can donation charity through fiat currency and bank system. Only Russia are facing with serious sanctions. I know there are more conveniences when doing things with Bitcoin and cryptocurrency and Ukraine are doing this.

People on the world are supporting Ukraine and I am glad to see it happened. F* Putin to start this war and history will judge him. His name will be marked in global history, not only in this war or in Ukraine but the whole world will remember him.
