1501  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: June 23, 2023, 07:21:06 AM
Actually these tasks is just speculation that we hope that we will be given airdrop if we interect with testnet and mainnet , this why these airdrops called retroactive airdrop where no Guranatee for airdrop

This clarified uncertainties is one of the reason why many people to abstain from looking after airdrops because they know they are nothing than just a testnet experimental offers which amount to nothing at the end than a waste of time though it has also been found useful in helping the newbies through their first stage of learning about making a transaction in cryptocurrency among other benefits it serves, people also give this kind of negative approach or feedback on it because they don't like the way it's scam is fast increasing.
1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin is dead, long live ... what? on: June 23, 2023, 07:14:43 AM
Still no answer to the original question about comparison of the three altcoins. Is this an altcoin forum or what?

If you all think bitcoin is able to resist the NFT/ordinals attack, why don't you go to the main forum, where the attack is discussed? There, some people at least understand the threats it poses (although still no signs of resistance). Maybe you can offer some approaches how to resist the NFT attack if you think it can be overthrown?

When we are discussing about bitcoin, we cannot do without mentioning that it's the most reliable cryptocurrency either people like it or not, the fact the bitcoin is so accomodative to have the inclusion of Inscribed ordinals isn't a vulnerability to the network but a more way to show how diversifying it is, ordinals mean no attack quite alright but what bitcoin did cannot be accomplished by any other crypto n this regards and yet nothing changed about it being affected, bitcoin has cone to remain and stay, with or without ordinals.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Could this be a trap? on: June 23, 2023, 07:04:16 AM
Is of no doubt the market has already turned green and ETH surpasses 1.9k, though I was having this feeling to enter the market now that we have full confidence that we are no longer going dip. But I am a bit confused if this could be a bear trap, what do you think of the market is there any good analyst to give accurate results on what would happen next or to know if this is a bear trap.

There's nothing like trap in dealing with a digital currency like bitcoin or Ethereum because when the price rises it also falls and this has always been the norms experience over years now, what i see about this sudden increase is the preparation for more attempts to rise high, we've been a little while stayed longer on this dip ever since the beginning of the year, now the market is getting more momentum to rise and change level and shouldn't serve a trap else they might think it's being manipulated.
1504  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Difference between pi and bitcoin on: June 23, 2023, 06:58:20 AM
Hello guys,I learnt that pi network is a crytocurrency that is beneficial in the community ecosystem that you can mine with,I want to know their clarified differences and if the pi network and bBTC does same functions.

How will you be comparison sleep with death, pi is still an experimental coin which we never know where it's heading to because i don't much believe in all these cloud mining coins, moreover it's still a testnet and we are not sure about how it will look like anytime soon since it's still not listed or approved yet as a digital coin, but bitcoin is the lead digital cryptocurrencies that has amassed upto $68,000 worth of it all time high and still counting, the are perfectly different.
1505  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: June 23, 2023, 06:17:31 AM
Well, you are absolutely right about that, it is very easy to enter a casino based on cryptocurrency and especially bitcoin, because it is more reliable, it has superior security, we are not taking risks on the street, nobody sees us, those are things that They can be seen as a great advantage, but personally when it comes to the app I am somewhat distrustful, it is very easy for data to leak, hackers are on the prowl, also if you do not download the app that it is, you can download a fake app And that is worse, then it is delicate on that side, although there is someone who is doing very well.
Don't worry, if you worried of data or privacy leak, you shouldn't gamble on the casino where it ask you to submit your KYC. Or if you're really want to gamble on licensed casino due to various games you want to play, you should never submit KYC even though you're need to accept to lose all of your money.

Whether he likes to submit KYC or not if he won a life changing money, then I am sure he will surely submit documents for KYC in order to get the money.  That kind of case is not impossible to happen because some of the casino style when a player won a huge amount of money is to ask the winner to submit KYC for verification purpose and if they pass the KYC they can withdraw and enjoy their winnings.  At the end of the day even casino that does not originally aske for KYC requires it once huge amount is involved.

Are we here to now debate with the saying that the online casinos have KYC related issues than such could be demanded in using a traditional gambling casinos, I think they both have their risk and the choice is left in on the gambler to decide which is preferable to him when gambling, but i want to also believe that the level of the KYC requirements from casino is higher and nore strict on adherence than the traditional casino house.
1506  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What kind of rewards/bonuses do you prefer? on: June 23, 2023, 05:47:35 AM
As I have said before, whenever people talk about bonuses, they tend to confuse it with free money and it is not a bad thing, they will always look for a way to win without much effort or that the casino itself does contests where the money that the person wins It is granted without the need to do additional things that many times what they do is that everything is lost

And then you will also discover this that only those who will bot have the enough time, patience to endure while gambling will have to go extra ways to cheat the gambling platforms by trying out some nasty ways to defraud them by the means of bye passing through some of their protocols and try to hack their system to be able to get enough of this freebies they habe always long after which is totally wrong

for me an oobono is money that is granted to someone for anything that has been won and that is withdrawable immediately or when the person you want, however, in casinos things are not like that, many things must be done to be able to withdraw and that is what bores me in particular, because for that it is much better for me to play with my own money without more.

The casinos will definitely give them the bonus but they will always want an additional, they also try makes some moves to withdraw the bonus and leave the casino and went to another one and do same, that's why deposit requirements is now needed before first withdrawal of bonus.
1507  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 23, 2023, 05:29:14 AM

For me gambling is not that serious and for me gambling is just for fun without thinking about becoming a good gambler.

Gambling is suppose to be a game that has fun and expectation of financial benefit or some kind of benefit to it. I think this time around the word gambling is really appearing in our daily lives, people now take it seriously and bet hugely on it therefore relying on it for source of income and livelihood. Having this believe is the reason that even when you are losing, you still have hope that you are going to win ar the next try because you are having high believe in the profit from it. Don't depend on gambling alone to be successful, it is gambling and based on luck .

People are no more interested in knowing about what others feels about them, they ist have to find a survival means through gambling as long as theirs an opportunity in it for making money, that's true and nothing bad in that, but it has to be what they have to adequately plan for very well, there must be a first move of making moves for another source of income provided if the gambler want to live up to expectations, he must have a target plan and time frame to discover more potential opportunities through gambling or from other sources to help earn a living in addition.
1508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: benefits of having mature accounts at 3 casinos (personal experience) on: June 23, 2023, 05:16:05 AM
We all have the right to choose wisely which casino to use, how many to use and the rate of money to use on each, but before we could have our account being matured ones upto the extent of attaining a VIP level, we need to work hard on them, it's demand time and money, the accounts needed to be active, have a financial flow record over time and also maintain laws and orders of the casino in question.
1509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 23, 2023, 05:03:54 AM
In some countries women are believed to have a slightly complicated money management or you could call it more stringent in holding money.
This is not to some countries alone but i think it a general trait discover with women that they like to hold money than loosing it on things not really too sure for them, it's not that they are stingy but they will prefer using their money for personal things than gambling except if someone gives them for free to use for gambling.

From this we can understand that it is difficult for women to gamble because she will always calculate in detail the money that must be spent for everyday life so there is no thought of gambling.

That's true because if we are going to consider from the aspect of wants and needs, women are more demanding in this areas and have the list of to do items than men, that's why they are very conscious of every bit they are spending from their money.
1510  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, investment, stocks..... on: June 23, 2023, 04:48:04 AM
Since gambling companies are registered companies, is it possible that they have stocks?

It's very possible because those you see into gambling establishment have other means that serves as background backup for them financially, though going for stocks is another means of engaging their money into more profitable business than holding them down without yielding anything.

Is there anyway to invest in a gambling stock?

I don't know any about this but i think those in the operation should understand better from this perspective, they have what they called share ownership and they make this through the introduction of stocks and bids for each participants coming in to join.
1511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can Casinos Go Bankrupt Because of Player Wins? on: June 23, 2023, 04:35:36 AM
Possible for casinos with a little bankroll, but almost impossible for large casinos with larger bankrolls, such as Stake. You can tell how much money they have by looking at their bonuses. They will not go bankrupt quickly since they can afford to pay and cover their losses. The same is true for traditional casinos, new or established. It's the bankroll that matters.

Well large bookies have a big amount of bankroll so its hard for them to go bankrupt. Big bookies such as stakes already have big millions behind them so they can cover the losses. But smaller ones if they go on a bad run and someone wins big can go bankrupt easily. Thats why it is smart to always bet on bigger casinos or bookies

Another important thing we can consider is the casinos themselves, who are the developers, are they the kind of fetchy guys on hit and run game whereby they will not be trusted to reward you your winnings because they are incapable of paying you and therefore subject the gambler into going through their KYC procedures and protocols in compliance with AML and the likes appearing as unfinished task.
1512  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: June 23, 2023, 04:23:37 AM
Another poll from Yahoo News that was released yesterday had Trump below the 50% mark for Republican nomination:

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/docs/2023/654559950-20230620-Trumppol-Tabs.pdf

Once again, Ron DeSantis seems to have recovered some ground, as his support is measured at 24%. None of the other contenders are polling more than 5% of the vote. On the other hand, their poll for the 2024 Democratic Presidential Nomination is very interesting. Kennedy (who was polling close to 20% earlier) is now measured at just 8% and Biden is dominating with 67%.

Well i expect Trump to raise more performance in his own way if he truly want something different and a little more higher than this, we can see how Biden is leading already ad I just wish he maintain this till the last minutes of the election because we may not be able to precisely concluded as well on Biden outward performance till the last day, but as for those gambling, there will be high odds on these two candidates even as we all know that Biden has the highest bids for now.
1513  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: As a Gambler and a Die-Hard Fan of a Club Would you Bet Against your Club on: June 23, 2023, 04:07:56 AM
Let's be realistic here and be practical as well, even if the team i supported pays me being their fan i can still gambles against them to face the reality in case of situations that am very much convinced that their performance will not yield the expected results with the opposition they are facing being stronger than them, this is all about being straight forward ad accepting the conditions of how thigs appear without been bias, they are my team but i see them not being capable enough to make win on the bet am gambling with, i will rather let Justice rule than pretend and loose my bet
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you cheat in gambling? on: June 23, 2023, 03:55:26 AM
Cheating is not what one should be compelled to do or not in gambling because when you cheated you will receive the reward and consequences for cheating because the gambling platforms now build a strong resistance to any form or attempts to cheat on their system and cheating is one of the reasons they have adopted strong mechanism to guide against such, you can't cheat for long before being caught, so why bothering yourself doing it.
1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fight between Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Who you betting on? on: June 23, 2023, 03:46:16 AM
My question is if this is just one of many marketing gimmick to make money or create awareness for a project they might be working on.

Who would win of course?

Can such a fight influence the crypto and stock market world majorly?

I also know bettings would be made for this, incase it goes down as reported. Who are you betting on?

You have to understand their differences first before knowing who will have super edge over another, now if we are to consider the entire social media networks then there's a more likeness for mark Zuckerberg to win because of his influence on the entire social media networks being the most recognized founder, but we can consider Elon Musk to have more win onnthe cryptocurrency channel because he's more recognized in the crypto world, we can also use their service net worth to judge and gamble over them as we may decide.
1516  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 23, 2023, 03:32:10 AM
in gambling we must be ready to accept all the risks.. that is between winning or losing.. in this day and age.. there are many types of gambling that we encounter.. directly or through social media.. but back to ourselves.. don don't make gambling the main income in our family. we stay focused on work in general.. we better use gambling as entertainment in our free time
If you don't take any risk before doing something then you can't be successful. So we have to take some risk while gambling. I think gambling requires willpower and patience. If you can't be patient while gambling then your money  There will be chances of losing. One thing should always be kept in mind before gambling. I gamble for entertainment not for income. Once you choose one for income you will start getting worse.

The problem with gamblers today is that they don't think to see beyond the scope of thier present condition and equiped themselves on achieving a better results over the years, it's a very good idea to want to make a target and to be able to achieve the target but they only make move with this by mouth and not in action, how many of them make a capacity development to position themselves to that stage or profession of being attracted to receiving upto that amount from what they have personally developed to themselves, they can't give less ad expect much.
1517  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do gambling addicts bother about the consequences of their actions? on: June 23, 2023, 03:18:40 AM
Gambling addiction is generally found in people who are very rich and can afford losing.

That's true, it's common with their calibre all because they have the enough time to gamble and also have enough money to spend on gambling, we rarely see the negative effect on th all because they can use money to avoid any form of public embarrassment while those that doesn't have money get the most disadvantages of it because they can't cover up with some things because of lack of money and they remain being affected for gambling addiction.
1518  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Scam de for p2p transactions? on: June 22, 2023, 04:26:27 PM
Wnen we are talking about scam in cryptocurrency, the issue here is not with the currencies involved but the people eho are holding a particular digital currency not knowing how to maintain a security network with their assets and investment by rendering them vulnerable for an attack by scammers and hackers who were ready for whom to devour always, your keys and safety are in your hands because the network does not have any loopholes but rather, we are the ones that create an avenue for an attack on us through our being not vigilant enough.
1519  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: This increment of Fuel price in Nigeria on: June 22, 2023, 04:20:56 PM
Simce the removal of subsidy, every commercial retails now sells at their own offer price independently, this makes the scarcity been dealt with and the issue associated now is onnthe affordability, will things continue to go like this whereby inflation continue to rise to an extent of no limit or we should expect more coming from the current experience to solve the issues on ground about inflation and pump price for fuel.
1520  Other / Politics & Society / Re: War and conflict on earth will never end on: June 22, 2023, 04:16:26 PM
Sadly war is profitable & many countries value lives of soldiers & citizens less than money. Life would be so much better if there was no conflict or war but I don’t know if we’ll ever get a united world. Some people & governments are too power & money hungry.

One way to lessen the likelihood of future wars, as I’m sure many of you know is a silent protest, but bitcoin. As they say, fix the money, fix the world.

War is profitable because at the end of it all you will discover there's peace but those that are paying the price will suffer for it and lost their live including the innocent ones, this makes it from another perspective that war is not also being profitable enough since it involves the lost of lives, but we ca also stop all these causes if we can learn how to live at peace with one another and being law abiding, we can only know the beginning of war but the ugly end remains unknown to all.
