How long do you folks give the attacker to figure out that the only way to end up with any decent amount of KMD is to buy them from us?   Kiss

It's a never ending Tom & Jerry Game. Wink

Thanks for being on top of things!   Cool

Agree with that! You guys are fast and furious!

1502  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: March 23, 2017, 04:27:36 PM
Something weird is happening at bittrex. How can someone buy up 8000 coins and the price doesn't move. It happened in the last two hours. There isn't enough asks to cover that.

I looked at the last 100 on market history. There were 28000 coins bought in 6 hours. Where there are 2000 coins bought at a time with seconds apart. Seems something fishy is going on.

Sounds like someone trying to up the price and make some profit. Happens all the time.
1503  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLOAK] Private, Secure, Untraceable & Decentralized Digitalcurrency on: March 23, 2017, 04:22:54 PM
Where did the number under 5 million coins come from? It seems like there is alot of buy and hold in this community but for a currency to be working it has to move like a current in a river. So is there enough people that are willing to sell? And when they do sell, it will dump the price.

It is very stable at the moment...
Who is selling his CLOAKS now is a big noob Cheesy

not big noob i can say that who will sell cloak now is wise seller and if cloak is stable so it should be stable between 0.00075 to 0.00082 and not like 0.00045 to 0.0005 so its not good sign for cloak and yogibear chart saying soon to 0.0014 i do not think so

I think you are the ultra noob  Smiley

Cuteflower is totally clueless...

BitBay Client v1.26 Update Now Available

If you already have the Client installed, simply open it and you will be prompted to update. If you are downloading for the first time you will need to visit the BitBay Download Page (http://BitBay.Market/Download) to choose the platform you will be running on.  For future information on the latest updates, or if you have any questions, the best place to find us is in BitBay Slack (http://bitbay.market/wp-login.php?action=slack-invitation).

If you have been watching, you know we have been highlighting many of the features you will see in this release over the past weeks, including…

Client Staking – Moves PoS Staking to the Client, eliminating the need for the QT wallet
Cold Staking – Keep your two keys on separate systems safely securing your BAY
Anti-Keylogger – Enter password characters with your mouse instead of the keyboard
Decentralized Voting – Vote on anyone’s proposal, or create your own
Added Tor Proxy – Utilize Tor for behind the scenes data retrieval

In addition to the features above, this release also includes the following list of new features and updates…

• Font sizes in pixels instead of points since PyQt4 has no DPI adjustment for UI
• Made clear key location on Exit
• Added Email login on account loading to protect password
• Added ability to filter other currencies
• Added way to activate debug file from UI
• Added custom splash screen for Halo coins
• AOL/Outlook typo fixed, removed support for Mail.com due to change in their programming
• Enhanced user interface, various fixes
• Detected when users move keys from known location
• Added generic encryption for sensitive data in temporary files
• Fixed balance float
• Fixed sorting and interface with the markets table
• Encrypt/Decrypt functions added in the menu
• Sign/Verify functions added in the menu
• Updated pastebin URL
• Fixed Email encoding/padding issues

Nice work. I especially like the email login feature and the key logger.
1506  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][KMD][dPoW] Komodo - Zcash Zero Knowledge Privacy Secured by Bitcoin on: March 22, 2017, 03:19:50 PM
Iguana, Agama, Komodo, SuperNet, EasyDEX, Full mode, Native mode, Basilisk.....jeez you guys are really making things confusing for newcomers. Do you really want anyone to simply use this?

What might be a developer's wet dream of features and names is most likely confusing the hell out of potential users.

Carburetor inlet manifold, overhead camshaft gasket, turbo injectors, twin cam sprocket lifters, piston head thingy majig .... isn't this a forum for the mechanically minded? I don't think retail users will ever need to bother about this stuff, anymore than most internet users think about tcp/ip. This forum is for people who might build a retail business using komodo and speculators.

Uhh... No, actually this forum is for people to talk about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, didn't have to be specifically about komodo. Hence, this forum has specific board with specific child board which has a lot of threads which aim is to facilitate specific coin to be discussed. But yeah, we get your point here and I must say I am quite but not completely agree with Fern, the lots of terms can be sometimes overwhelming for new users like me who usually use simple online wallet. I believe, Fern's concern originate from dev's wish to make the wallet simple for everyone (stated on the first page).

The part where I cant be completely agree with Fern is because dev has actually tried their best to help and even giving short explanation on each terms. Most of those "alien words" can be simply understood if you read the first page, right below that "make it simple" sentence.

Must say that the new website is impressive and there are good explanations for features. It was probably the name Agama that didn't inspire much confidence in me; I imagined the platform would command a more powerful and potent name that it deserves, but so be it.

no new members joining on this thread  Sad just some FUD talking  Grin
Yes, not so many Newbies members here. Mostly people with few years in crypto and looking more on tech inside, as fast money from ICO projects.

Yes, a lot of us are here from the beginning and are very pleased with the current dev team and the direction of the project. CLOAK is solid and has a great future, it's quite a turn around and we are proud of it!
1509  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][VRC] VeriCoin Proof of Stake-Time Currency | Marketing campaign on: March 21, 2017, 06:03:07 PM
To the last few post above the quoting after a while gets to be to much:

Are they working? I don't know that?  Trust me I have a little more insight then you think.  Do I except them to be working on this 24/7 NO.  Its amazing how other coins can give updates and little previews and the developers show NOTHING I am NOT asking for an update everyday but a little something every other week twice a month is not asking for a lot but they might not even be working on this coin twice a month I don't know I never see any example!! Verium so far FAIL "The Fools Gold Standard"!! It has NOTHING right now to do with Vericoin.  So in my eyes the last update to Vericoin was POST and that is closing in on two years.

Again I ask you name the other devlopers besides Doug actively working on this coin?

The "Third party developer" is working on app that is supposed to use vericoin we have no idea what this app is or will it even catch on. He is not a developer of Vericoin he can get mad or another coin can hit him with an offer he can't refuse and sorry Doug going in a different direction.

Who is the "other" developer working on "working on a decentralized encrypted chat"? One of the big selling points of Vericoin was they openness to be identified so now we have a new mystery developer?  Doesnt stand with the core principles of this coin when it first came out.

So since you have all this insight who besides Doug I ask again who is working on VERICOIN?

The market dictates that I'm not alone while other coins are doing $100,000 of dollar in volume this coin is struggling most days to get $5K.  I'm not being negative I'm being real. If I saw and seen some progress with the coin then I would be helpful. Who's the one that help write the PR for Verium ME.  Who's the one that helped get a marketing for this coin ME! When I see results I HELP, when I see nothing I BITCH.  In the end if you don't like it and want to live with your head in the sand block me.  But if more of the hardcore community was united in wanting to see some work to help I promise you this coin would be in a lot better shape.  There is NO transparency in this coin just post with words and a once in a while updated road map that hasn't seen much being completed in the last 2 years.

I understand what your saying but, negativity is the enemy of innovation and production. It really serves no purpose to post negative thoughts unless you need to be the cop in the equation. Positive reinforcement will go further in supporting the developers and possibly help in fueling their engine so to speak. Being negative is just a wast of your energy and ours. I'm not trying to change your mind or opinion, just saying that negative energy hurts everyone not just the target.
1510  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Official BitBay Thread |Smart Contracts Wallet UPDATE|Decentralized Marketplace on: March 21, 2017, 05:33:10 PM
Now that there's recognition and volume in the market I think this is the most difficult time for the whole project. I know the software works but the wild world is about to ask for confirmations.
Smiley

CMC 52   BitBay BitBay   $6,795,610   $0.006746   1,007,382,332 BAY *   $202,235   +100.29%

David, you are, without a doubt, THE MAN! Nice work. I'm confident the software and the coin will meet and exceed expectations. Unlike many other raising projects, BAY has real world uses and doesn't require a Phd in computer science to figure it all out. It's the "people's coin" Go BAY!

1511  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚒ Syscoin - 2.1.2 Released! Decentralized Marketplace & Multisig Platform! on: March 21, 2017, 02:41:45 AM
Hi guys!

We are now selling our products on the Syscoin Marketplace -> email bomb, ddos attack and more.

Please contact us on the Syscoin messages for more information.

Cheers!

Moron...

Why would they be morons? AFAIK they are using the marketplace as intended, it may not be ethical but we cannot stop them, if its deemed inappropriate content we can always moderate but all that does is hide from searches.

Glad to see someone with a brain!
My team is very well known on dark markets but if we can't sell this kind of products on Syscoin, just let us know and we will remove it.
We are just trying to find a decentralized way of doing our job. If it's against Syscoin rules we will go away, no worries.
We do not condone illicit sales but we certainly cannot stop it either as it would go against the very definition of open source and decentralization. There is an API aswell that is being finished up which will allow you to interface with the blockchain for a headless design, we are using it to create the blockmarket application layer on top.

I think anyone caring for Syscoin adoption and usage in real world should welcome people like SyscoinHackers which are trying to sell products and services on the SYS decentralized market.

Thanks guys. Yes, we just want to find a real usage for our own business.
We have not much knowledge about the altcoins but seems that Syscoin is the only one with a working decentralized market in wallet. All is working fine and was easy to setup. The only con is the design and ergonomic interface. That should be improved for mass adoption and so we will sell more too Wink
Keep up the good work and good luck to all!

Ok, ok, let me explain why I said "Morons". Your post looked like a fake from top to bottom. I don't give a rats ass what you sell if it helps SYS but, I absolutely HATE fakers and fudders. Sorry about that, hope SYS does what you need it it to do, I see you were the real thing, my bad, good luck!  Grin

PS: I've been buying and holding SYS since the beginning, feeling a little protective if you know what I mean.

SYS costs at the moment $0.01127859

https://www.coingecko.com/en/price_charts/syscoin/usd

Blockmarket will surprise many in a positive way. Even if there is any delay (and honestly I hope there will be some) and the price stays as it is now or drops it will be a second to none chance to buy more cheap SYS.

It's already a delay, Q1 is almost over and we don't have even announcement of it

I'm sure it will be announced whenever it is ready to go out in the wild. Also they have still 11 more days before Q1 ends so I will at least wait for March to end before start whining.  Cheesy

Soon you'll  whine like a small puppy! Grin

You mean like you? Go bother some thread that cares.

Amazingly quiet here to be honest. Wouldn't think that for a project that raised 10 million USD in 90 minutes!

i think most of the chatter is happening on the other forums and the chinese forums.

Frank Lefty Rosenthal Signing Out.

Wouldn't surprise at all if they split with the funds. Seems some of them have a history of that. Good luck!

1515  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Vertcoin Core -v0.11.0.0 Released on: March 20, 2017, 08:07:02 PM
Vertcoin Core - v0.11.0.0 Released

his wallet updates Vertcoin to use the latest Bitcoin Core v0.13 base. Thus, it soft forks BIP34, 66, 65, CSV and SegWit into Vertcoin as well as the other BIPs included in Bitcoin Core since v0.8. The soft forks will start signalling compliance from block 675,360 and will continue to signal for a year. Once 75% of blocks over a 2016 block period have signalled, after another 2016 block period the soft forks will activate and old version blocks will be orphaned from that point on. Therefore it is highly recommended you upgrade your wallet and this update should be treated as mandatory. It is especially important that pools upgrade as we need at least 75% of blocks mined to be upgraded in order to activate the soft forks. Pools that do not upgrade could risk orphaned blocks after activation. Everyone else, including users and exchanges, should upgrade too to guard against forking after activation.

Guys, be aware, RJF19 account was hacked. Stay away from this fake mining!

NOTICE: Any posts from my former account "RJF19" are NOT from me, the account was hacked. PC was infected by the "CoinBitClip" Trojan even though I had 3 forms of up to date protection including corporate versions. They say "third time's the charm", hope that is correct...Be careful out there, it's swamp...

Is this true? Jr member account claimed if rjf19 was hacked. Any strong evidence to prove it? And not to try contact admin to lock that account?

It's best to refrain from installing the Java Miner software. The software is a malware. That's more than enough reason/evidence.  Plus a quick look at Edgeless ANN thread ( https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1718384.0 ) shows no information about mining.

So this is just a Hack/Spam/Malware Attempt aimed at unsuspecting Forum members.

Thanks for nice answered. Anyway why someone not to try report that account to admin?

I've reported it, nothing done.

Nice uptrend and volume. My Bay bought during the infamous Bter ICO now value more than 3 years ago. I've never sold them which probably makes me a believer in this coin and in the work of everybody worked for this.
Now let's move on! Wink

Same here but, I've added quite a bit since the ICO. Never doubted David's conviction to see this project through.
