1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine - Russia war crisis. Will Bitcoin be legalized soon? on: February 26, 2022, 09:15:38 AM
As a Ukrainian
Glory Ukraine, Ukrainians. The world behind you and even the Russians behind you. Its just the f*king Putin and his army are against you and your beautiful nation. I do hope that the European Commissions and the world will have some more realistic support for your nation to stop Putin invades into Kiev and succeed with their invasion.

Quote
I really hope they won't make this move, although I do agree it would have been a smart one. Russia invaded my home country, and sanctions are simply necessary because it has to take a hit for what it has done and stop sending its troops and aircraft to Ukraine.
Please give me a chance to explain about my topic. I don't hope Putin government will get advantage by legalizing Bitcoin but hope or not, it is what they can do. One of their resorts to break the massive sanctions against them. In addition, I do believe that legalization of Bitcoin will happen, sooner or later. We already have a first nation made it, El Salvador and we all know in history that the first time is the hardest, then next ones usually more easily.

Quote
That being said, while the sanctions are getting stronger all the time, NeuroticFish is right that there's still a lot of resistance when it comes to banning Russia from SWIFT, thanks to German and Italian leaders, so I don't think it needs a type of payment that can't be censored yet.
Sanctions don't stop Putin because the fact is he won't get poorer because of sanctions. Russians get poorer, not Putin. Does he care about Russians? I guess not.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price goes down as Russia begins Ukraine invasion on: February 26, 2022, 09:09:11 AM
There is always volatility that we can feel regardless of any news happening in the world, be it positive news or negative news. Russia and Ukraine have been influencing the price of bitcoin for some time as traders and investors panicked after the country announced the invasion, but now it seems that everything is under control as demand for bitcoin has increased.
Bitcoin is always a speculative and volatile asset and to be honest, it's not first time Bitcoin has 30%, 40% correction, so please don't connect it with the war. The war itself has its impact on all markets but with Bitcoin market, if the correction is inevitably, it will occur by one reason or another which can be this war or another reason.

Quote
I'm not sure how long the war will last but I believe in the short term bitcoin really isn't a safe haven so people can't prevent losses from fluctuations. Russia and Ukraine are not only having an impact on crypto but the impact is also being felt on the stock market and other investments
This suddenly unexpected war is a chance for Bitcoin to prove that it is actually a a risk-on safe-haven asset. It's the first time for Bitcoin to do this in the chaotic time of European and the world. Such time does not occur too often and people will remember this time if they are Bitcoiners.

I am really sad to see what is happening in Ukraine with lots of innocent blood just because of the non-sense and stupid ambition of Putin. I do emphasize, of Putin and his dictator government that don't represent for Russians. We do see how Russians try to protest against the war but their voice is not listened by Putin and his dictator government. Thanks God, Putin started the war and it will trigger a massive internal war in Russia against him. He deserves it and I wish he will be beaten down by Russians one way or another. It's best for Russians without Putin, not only the Europe or the world.
1523  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III & Bitcoin on: February 25, 2022, 08:29:49 AM
World War III won't happen if Putin does do more stupid army activities. At least so far NATO don't send army forces to fight against Putin and his army.

NATO and Wester nations know that if they do so, they will fight against one of biggest army forces on Earth. They won't do this just to be safe for all. But if Putin wants, World War III will occur. In my opinion, I don't see why Putin wants it.

I am sadly when I think of Ukraine and what they are suffering now but this war will bring something big for Bitcoin and crypto market. People will realize that fiat currencies suck, bank systems suck in such war time. Only Bitcoin and cryptocurrency can help them because their networks are decentralized, transactions are borderless.

Ukraine - Russia war crisis. Will Bitcoin be legalized soon?
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Ukraine - Russia war crisis. Will Bitcoin be legalized soon? on: February 25, 2022, 08:13:30 AM
I don't discuss about geopolitical issues or war here. Let's consider about what is going on and will happen with (against) Russia.

They under the dictatorship of Putin, really invaded Ukraine and ignored all international standards. They are punished by massive sanctions on their bank system and many areas. Because we do know Bitcoin is peer-to-peer, borderless so will Russia do something like North of Korea, trying to use Bitcoin as one of their last resorts?

With Bitcoin, they can avoid traditional sanctions against them. To do this, will they legalize Bitcoin in Russia soon?

Let me say, I hate war!
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Ministry wants to legalize Bitcoin mining in specific areas on: February 25, 2022, 02:06:10 AM
Russia is a big nation but Bitcoin has a decentralized network so legalization in Russia or not, it won't change Bitcoin network entirely, at least in terms of decentralization.

China ban, crack down Bitcoin. How many times do we get such news or actions from China? How about Bitcoin after all? It is still be here and its network has become bigger, healthier, more secured over time.

Let's Putin and Russia government do what they want but they can not do anything to stop Bitcoin network. That nation can not live and operate by shutdown their gates with other nations. They just like China, North Korea, Cuba and see how many nations on Earth are still following Communism.
1526  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin Price Enter the $30k Area? on: February 24, 2022, 12:29:22 PM
In my opinion, although bitcoin in the last few days has experienced a very deep price correction to date, it will not drop to the $30k price level. Indeed the price of bitcoin had dropped to the level of $ 35k at this time, but I believe the current price decline will not last long and the price of bitcoin will rise back to the level of $ 40k. Therefore I believe a bull market is coming soon and bitcoin price will rise again significantly in the next few months.
We don't know whether it will happen and when it will happen.

There is some on-chain analytics for you from Glassnode Insights. We can see another capitulation from short term holders and Bitcoin will move to long term holders who have averaged price from $18k to $29k. Long term holders will not shake their Bitcoin if it falls to that range but most of short term holders will do.

1527  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III & Bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 10:09:37 AM
If this happens and bitcoin crashed badly to 20K or lower, would not it be an opportunity to buy bitcoin and all of the crypto in bulk.
We have seen this in the past that those who bought in the covid dump, after the year they enjoyed a lot of profits (provided they remained alive during pandemic)
Price from $18,000 to $28,000 is good to consider as bottom area because it is a average price range in which long term holders bought their Bitcoin. I don't need to wait price to fall to $18,000 to buy a dip. $30,000 is good enough for me and it is double bottom already, price must bounce back at least first time at double bottom. If the bottom touched a second time, it might be a crash toward $18,000 to $20,000.

Do you always hesitate what price to enter? If it is what people think and hesitate, ask themselves, they will keep asking it when price crashes to $18,000 and they will wait for cheaper price $10,000. Hell, they will never enter with any dip.
1528  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is There a Bitcoin Supercycle? Is this the end of 80% drawdowns? on: February 24, 2022, 09:59:42 AM
You read it right. Bitcoin is in its super cycle, the biggest in history. What we witnessed and will witness are only ups and downs short term. Long term, look back you will see it is very minor fluctuations. Do you see price change about $100 is big nowadays? Years ago, in 2015 or 2016, $100 price change is big and people called it as crash.

If you don't have strong hands, don't invest in Bitcoin because you will re-ask such question again and again. You believe in Bitcoin when price rises impressively but lose your belief when it has temp crash.

Bitcoin might be pulled back to $18k to $28k and it can be the bottom range but don't bet that Bitcoin must be pulled back to that range.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: World War III & Bitcoin on: February 24, 2022, 09:38:45 AM
Short term, we will see something very very bad. Crash is what I think of. It's just like a crash in March 2020 when WHO announced the Covid-19 pandemic. Because the crowd are not wise, most of them are not wise so that they are manipulated by Market Makers. Such news in eyes of the crowd is bad, terrible so they shake their hands, panic sell and cause huge net effects which is shown on chart as crashes.

Long term, it's good because let's think of original purposes of Satoshi Nakamoto when he coded and launched the Bitcoin Genesis Block. Bitcoin is for such bad conditions globally.
1530  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About The DAO hack in 2016 on: February 23, 2022, 03:21:22 PM
Price was dumped after that DAO hack but it is not the worst. Many months after the hack, Ethereum recovered but could not make new all time high. It made people disappointed, tired, lost patience and sold their Ethereum. Slowly but eventually, Ethereum made its new highs in 2017 and it is a crazy year for Ethereum.

In crypto, there are good and bad stories from investors in a same coin. Good for some, bad for the most.
1531  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The sandbox/Decentraland will fail or succeed in 3 years? on: February 23, 2022, 01:07:07 PM
They are one of pioneers and best Metaverse projects now. If they fail, it will be very likely that something wrong with Metaverse. I think Metaverse is something big for gaming, financing, blockchain and social media too so I don't see how Metaverse will fail.

3 years is a long time enough to test a project or a trend. With the fast operation of blockchain industry, I think we will get answer for your question in next few years, probably less than 3. As I expressed my opinion, I believe that Metaverse won't fail but not sure about Sandbox or Decentraland. I wish them succeed of course but let's see

If they have a company which has license and under regulation of government, what can they do? what they should do? for the sake of their company benefit?

Obey government request and keep their company operates as nothing happen, or face with serious treatments from government. I am sorry for anyone lose money on centralized exchanges for any reason but they did not learn the lesson which is said repeatedly

Not your keys, not your coins

Centralized exchanges provide you a wallet but you don't have private keys or mnemonic seeds. In bad days, shit happens.
1533  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Limit Buy Filled but Cryptocurrency didn't go that low? on: February 23, 2022, 12:10:48 PM
Different exchanges have different prices and it is chance for arbitraging traders. If you really have one account on one exchange and have orders there. Some ways to check
- Log in your account, go to that trading pair and check it with different candles (1H, 4H, 1D or short frame 30 mins, 15 mins)
- Check it on Trading view but make sure you check that trading pair on the exchange you use

Checking with marketcap websites are not correct. They use average prices on all or some exchanges on which a coin listed and have tracked trading volume and price.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what gives Bitcoin it value? on: February 22, 2022, 03:47:11 PM
The technology behind Bitcoin gives its value. Bitcoin is a proof of work, a mineable coin  but it is unique and very different than many shit proof of work coins. If you spend inputs (power, mining rigs, ventilation, other things for mining farm infrastructures) into shit mineable coins, you might lose all money because technology behind is not great. They just copy and paste coins so that they can not compare to Bitcoin. The community behind Bitcoin is big and developers are top notch, not bottom level so that they develop Bitcoin better.

Shit coins can clone source code of Bitcoin but what's next after initial clone? Clone next times whenever Bitcoin has upgrades? No value from such clones.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Only Small % Of Tokens/Coins Survive on: February 22, 2022, 12:32:08 PM
About 92% of projects die, 8% survive but to say all 8% of them are successful, it is not right.

Cryptocurrency Historical Data Snapshot shows that even coins which are in top positions can fall beyond top 100, top 200 or even die after a few years. I think the crypto industry now is better than 4 or 5 years ago because now it is harder to scam than in the past. Stricter procedures to verify and get listed on exchanges but scammers are always there and naively people always are there to be scammed.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Axie Infinity - A new Ethereum game similar to CryptoKitties [SPECIAL PRE-SALE] on: February 22, 2022, 12:14:50 PM
This is decreasing the total SLP being minted everyday but this is not so significant as so many people are in competition to win the battle as much as they can. im playing this game using floor axie for fun only.
If there is no earning from the game, you might play it for fun. If it is a play to earn game, you will play it for both. It's better for gamers to play and earn. It's better to play on-chain games with some kind of initial capital and have earnings. Axie Infinity changed lives of many people in South East Asia or Latin America but not all of them are happy with Axie games. It is life, one win, another lose. There are winners and oppositely there are others as losers.

I support this strategic change from Axie Infinity team.

You are right. SLP increased quite significantly after the announcement, it indicates good news for SLP holders. Not only for SLP investors, but players who still hold their SLP will also get the advantage as well. Yep, I also hope it is just the beginning of SLP development. I expect the price of SLP can hit its ATH again someday.
They will make SLP deflationary by stop rewarding it in PvE and burn this token. People and the market are hyped on the news and this change. They boosted SLP up x5 but it is stupid, it has been pulled back a lot already. Good news is good but it takes time to be really recognized by investors and real users. People who can sell at x5, congratulations to them, but if they hoped on when SLP x3, and now are stucked, I am sorry to say but it's not smart at all.
1537  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GOLD - First 100% Liquid Stablecoin Backed by Gold on: February 22, 2022, 10:53:48 AM
Yes there is also a downside of Polygon as well when dealing with other coins and tokens to either buy or sell. You also mention about Binance Smart Chain, but they too have downside which is similar to Polygon that is network congestion.
It works like this, always in crypto. When a new chain with new technology launches, it has lot of promise, and works fine. Time goes, network becomes bigger and hits its limit. Then congestion comes and the growth is down. Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Polygon, Solana. Soon we will have chance to witness it again with Avalanche.

But I know that the Digital Gold team is not closing their doors in moving to another blockchain. As ETH 2.0 seems not likely anymore but rebranding to consensus layer, I just don’t know though if the team keep their faith in Ethereum. Coz’ only those traders using the ETH blockchain who can afford to pay such fees are big timers. Not just one time, but either a few or more times.
Ethereum is a safest altcoin network and I think it is a second safest network in crypto, just behind Bitcoin network. I understand why the GOLD team want to stay with Ethereum. However, on the other side, transaction fee on this network is painful for users. It does not hurt big users but for small users, it is painful actually.

I do not complain about it but it is fact about Ethereum and ERC-20 chain.
1538  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche just overtook Binance Coin in Total Value Locked (TVL) on: February 21, 2022, 10:15:25 AM
Avalanche has good growth but it will need more serious tests from the market. When more projects are built on Avalanche, more users and more transactions on this chain, we might see its drawbacks. Now, things look to be very good and no serious drawback on capacity of this chain to handle transactions. But it might be different in future when the network becomes more crowded.

It happens with Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana chains already and it is what we will see with any chain. Because basically no developer can build up a perfect chain, algorithm to handle all things and all sort of demands on it. They have to upgrades their chain capacity with time and chain growth.

In my opinion, Avalanche is a good chain to use.
1539  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Proper risk management? on: February 21, 2022, 10:07:58 AM
Well this is it guys because today i would like to share this tool that can help us to have a proper risk management when it comes trading..

Its a free tool actually and it's called winrate.io

This tool can estimate our earnings and losses from trading by simulating trades based on winrate, fees, leverage etc.
This is a big help especially if your trading with leverage

Infact you can run your own strategy as well to see it if it's good or not.
You can do back-test on Trading View as well if you can code script and have proper skills in trading. You can not code a good script which helps you to eliminate your emotion and get profit if you don't know which indicators to add into your bot, script.

Script, bot only is helpful because it works 24/7 and does not have emotion like human. No fear, no greed, it works based on indicators you set it up. You can not apply trading method in a successful bot and get same win rate. Because when you do it manually, you will be affected by emotion, fear, greed which in turn reduces your win rate generally.
1540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Where can i find the top company analysis on crypto on: February 21, 2022, 09:47:46 AM
Youtubers will promote projects they work with and shill them to the Moon. Their videos will be biased by the income they receive from projects. Therefore if you are serious and careful with your investment, you should not rely on Youtubers because they mostly don't give you good insights

You can get profit by listening to their advice in some projects but if they don't warn you how to protect your capital, you will lose your capital and profit in some bad trades or investments by believing in their advice and analytics.
