how many block are mined per day ?
Approximately 144, it should be something like 1 every 10 minutes.

I noticed something on coindesk. When I add a comment to an article, sometimes it becomes "pending". It seems related to the content of what I write, and not to the length, the number or whatever of the comments.
Recently, I tried to add a comment saying that the halving of bitcoin, resulting in 1800 coins less a day, should be compared to the daily traded volume (and hence is tiny as an effect). Each contribution mentioning that is pending. Other contributions of mine on the same article aren't pending. I had a few "long" ones, and also a few one-liners.
Is there a sensorship on coindesk ?
This has happened before too on other subjects. It seems content-related. Some comments simply don't seem to make it (or only days later, when the readership of the article has diminished).
Actually it's called 'moderation', but I believe what you're referring to is 'censorship' which is the suppression of free speech. Moderated comments have to be approved, for such thing to happen a moderator has to read them, if for some reason moderator does not have the time or patience to do so your comments will stay in limbo forever, or until someone does a clean up and delete everything.

Viva ateixeira.

I'm predicting nothing special will happen because of the halving.
Price will continue to increase and decrease because of unknown causes, miners will continue to mine, block size will not increase, network will continue congested and shitty.

Hello ! With my team we have launched few days ago a new gambling site ( https://www.playcoin.eu) and in the deposits I found this transaction Do you allow users to play without confirmation? If so, did the user who made that transaction played and lost? Nop, i put minimum confirmation at 2. Ok. In casinos that allow users to play immediately without confirmation people were doing this, they deposit, they play, if lose they will double spend the coins, if not they take the profit.

That's a double spend, it will never confirm.

All bitcoin addresses are permanent...
You can use Blockchain.info wallet the way you need, you may have only 1 address and only that address...
|
|
|
Don't you know how to use Google?
|
|
|
But is it better than Pied Piper's compression algorithm?

Are they selling the magic formula to survive such collapse? Of course they are, just like a Rapture cult, they know when the end is coming and they're selling salvation.

It's a nice gesture but it's not currently easy for people to 'claim' Lumens. Plenty of people want to claim but depending on which wallet software they use have to track down their addresses, figure out which wallet supports signatures, import into that wallet and then sign each one individually. It's cumbersome and not sure why it has to be 'that' cumbersome.
(Note: Some people can't even claim Lumens at all because of their wallet-type, ex. coinbase, circle, and other wallets that don't support signatures). I just can't help but feel there were more efficient ways to do this than this method which wants to target bitcoin holders specifically and that this was a way for the company to 'get' lumens, knowing that plenty of people wouldn't be able to claim by default giving it to stellar.
Also it doesn't worth it, it's something like 30 cents for every bitcoin, the majority of us don't even have one bitcoin, plus doesn't seem fair, an institution trying to help the 3rd world just giving more money to people who already have a lot of money. Clams distribution was way better.

My account got creidited. Thank you very much.

Nothing new on exchanges, at least the ones I've used are already applying KYC/AML directives, and doesn't seem to change much with prepaid cards, VISA lobby is still too strong...

The Raspberry Pi lobby is too powerful amongst bitcoin developers, no one will be able to defeat them. A 10 billion dollar network has to run in a 15 year old PC, isn't this normal a thing?

What are your mining addresses?

I'm still missing the 28th, is it going to be credit?

In four years there will be another halving, prepare for that one if you think you're missing your chance with this one.
