You come across as a butt hurt "remainer"

What about all the lies that project fear kept spouting lol.

"The FTSE 100 has recorded its best weekly performance since December 2011"

No longer at the "back of the queue" with the US.

Multiple countries wanting to arrange trade deals with us outside the EU.

We are just the first domino to fall triggering the end of the EU and it cant come soon enough.
1522  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigel Farage is a shame as a man. on: July 04, 2016, 06:21:31 PM
The whole EU should be scrapped, political union abolished and a simplified open trade agreement introduced.

Open door immigration stopped, Australian style point system implemented.

Any immigrants commiting crimes should be instantly deported after serving their prison time despite any "human rights" concerns.

Complete ban on any sharia courts in the UK.

No more watering down of our heritage and way of life to suit minorities.
1523  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nigel Farage is a shame as a man. on: July 04, 2016, 05:57:36 PM
His one goal was for the UK to leave the EU.

He achieved that goal through a successful referendum.

Job done, move on.

I respect the guy for speaking his mind without pandering to the politically correct bullshit.
1524  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or Gold? What would you pick? on: July 04, 2016, 06:45:48 AM
for me I better choose bitcoin over gold. Even the gold is a secure thing to store your money your money will not grow even if you store it untill your death. In bitcoins youre money that will invest in may grow because everyday bitcoin price keeps on rising and bitcoins is keep on being popular.Bitcoins has the potential to double your money just by storing when it price rose up

You do realise that gold is up over 26% year to date.

1 year gold chart, if this doesnt show growth what does?

1525  Other / Politics & Society / Re: 3.5m+ GB resident demand for second EU referendum. on: July 03, 2016, 10:47:05 PM
a) this petition has already been proven to be full of fake signatures so is irrelevant.

b) even if the 3.5 million signatures were genuine 17.4 million voted to leave so who gives a fuck Smiley

1529  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: July 02, 2016, 03:24:36 PM
Bitcoin is a great investment, gold is also a great investment too, but instead of buying good, consider buying silver as it has far more upside than gold. I agree that right now it's better to have more in Bitcoin as I believe it's less controlled than the powers that be, hence more upside.

I dont agree that silver has more upside then Gold as gold is used in ornaments and more things then silvers, bitcoins is also same like this assets so you cannot compare which one is good as all are good in their field.

Silver does have more upside than gold if you look at the historic gold/silver ratio.

Silver also has massive industrual use e.g. solar panels etc.

Only downfall here in the UK is that silver has VAT applied and gold does not (you can get it cheaper from the EU but % over spot is still higher than gold)

1533  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 28, 2016, 08:49:56 PM
With gold the ceiling is much more near. Just do the math.

BTC is roughly 10 billion dollars, and a company like Uber is 50 billion dollars.

Gold is a couple Trillion dollars.

The potential of growth for BTC annihilates the potential of growth for gold.

And the potential for Bitcoin to crash and disappear up its own ass annihilates any risks with gold.

Dont forget the potential risks and downsides.
1534  Economy / Economics / Re: Brexit: Gold Might be a Better Bet Than BTC for a While on: June 25, 2016, 07:03:02 PM
Gold jumped 18% in just 3 hours during the Brexit.
1535  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Which country will be next to alight from the sinking EU ship? on: June 25, 2016, 05:47:46 PM
I think Turkey will be the next country to leave. Once they realise that they can't continue to get money for nothing, then they will be off.

I would be willing to stick a 100 bitcoin bet on Turkey not being next to leave the EU.

...considering they arent even in the EU  Roll Eyes
1536  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Spain calls for co-sovereignty on Gibraltar on: June 25, 2016, 05:43:34 PM
How can they claim co-sovereignty when they are a lapdog state of the EU?

They can't. Gibraltar was awarded to Britain in the Treaty of Utrecht which was signed by Philip V of Spain in 1713 and awarded Gibraltar to Britain in perpetuity (Good Queen Anne signed that Treaty on behalf of Britain).

They would need to tear up that Treaty, but then that invalidates treaties in general and all the treaties that underpin the European Union...

Or they could just take it from England as they are part of EU so they're largely stronger...

The UK has nukes, spain doesnt,

Or we could just stop go on holiday there and ruin Spain completely.
1537  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 25, 2016, 07:32:05 AM
did oil have the same cap of gold? no, gold never had a 30% + swing on daily basis like bitcoin, which was recently dumped and rised again like it was nothing

I'm afraid that the oil market cap is times (if not orders) greater than that of gold market. Gold market is actually minuscule when compared to the volumes of oil traded daily, both physical and paper. Average real demand for oil equals to nearly 96 million barrels of oil and liquid fuels per day. And now add to that the host of oil derivatives markets to get an idea how huge this market actually is (though I shouldn't doubt your obstinacy, lol). It may well happen that the oil market is the largest market ever out there. And it is not unseen for oil to make 20% price swings within just a few days despite the enormous capitalization of this market...

Now go ahead with your usual bullshit and semantic noise

i'm not talking about volume, i'm talking about mere marketcap, gold has around 7T, oil has more than that? i doubt

You can easily estimate the real market for oil by multiplying production by price. 96 million barrels per day would give 35,040 million barrels per annum, which at the price of $50 per barrel would be 1.75 trillion dollars of oil produced annually (for the given conditions). The total amount of all gold out there estimated to be 182,000 metric tonnes which roughly equals to 5.650 million troy ounces. At the price of $1,300 per ounce you get your 7.1 trillion dollars of the so-called "market cap" for gold...

Now, the annual production of oil in dollar terms constitutes only a quarter of all gold produced throughout history

You cant work out gold cap based on physical supply as comex is currently leveraged over 500:1 so market cap is significantly higher.

The EU is dead, all the net contributors want to leave just the parasites will remain.
1539  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: June 24, 2016, 03:17:14 PM
Well looks like I have played my cards right.

All my profits from bitcoin have been put into gold the last 2 years.

I have just sold a part of my stack and will be dumping the rest Monday morning at dealer.  This then gives me enough cash to pay off the remaining balance of my mortgage so I am one happy chappy.

40 years old and no debt.  No credit cards, no store cards, no loans, no overdraft and no mortgage Smiley
