1561  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: AMT users thread. on: October 08, 2014, 09:16:59 PM
Actually,

It's your ego that's getting in the way at the moment. AMT isn't working around the community, nor are we hiding lol. We just don't care to write on this forum anymore as we explained last month. Even though we don't engage in your daily crap fest we're still just as popular either way, so why should we loose our time like opieum2. And please be sure that we're contributing to the community everyday, we resent that statement. Do notice its the same 4-6 individuals that comment about about us, and it's been that way since ...January. And please know they are wrong about so many things, but we feel there's no point even to go into it. We're not gonna sit on this forum day after day and loose our time arguing with the same people whose sole purpose is to have us do just that. For support issues you're welcome to email us at sales@amtminers.com and someone will get back to your shortly.

And to our glorious colleagues, you're pregame of crap before the price spike probably wont make much of a difference in the outcome of AMT sales, AMT doesn't make any sales due to our terrible reputation, but you guy's already know that. But we're still trying everyday as some of you can see.

Here's some advice:. buy bitcoin. Buy it today under 360, hold for 2-3 days with a stop order at 430. When it sells, immediately after place a buy order at 395, hold for 4-5 days with a stop at 540. Invest at your own risk.

But what do we know, we're just a bunch of "idiots with a moronic CEO that seems to know nothing about technology".  Wink

And sorry about Vegas guys, we wanted to go but something came up and we couldn't make it. Maybe next time if things start to look up.

For anything else please feel free to email us at Sales@AMTminers.com as we don't write on this forum too often.

Simple question. When are you shipping the MPP?

1563  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Black Arrow 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $0.49/GH/s on: October 07, 2014, 08:43:45 PM
I almost feel bad for Minersource. They hitched their buggy to these horses, only to find out they were dead. From what I've seen, they've been doing their best to make things right, but there's only so much you can do before the stench of BA's rotting carcass starts getting to you.

I don't think MS cares. Only 11 people have even bothered to file a BBB report, which only takes a few seconds to do online. I doubt anyone has even filed a lawsuit against them. Maybe MS have delivered or refunded most of the BA orders they took?
1564  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 07, 2014, 06:26:28 AM
Hey Dogie, sorry your thread got trashed by BFL. I'll report BFL trash to the mods. Hopefully they'll take a second and clean it up. You don't deserve this.
1565  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 07, 2014, 06:14:06 AM
Excellent, thanks for admitting it.  Now we can move on.  I have no reason to answer to you, a self professed liar.  You are scum and beneath my contempt.

Like I said. He won't answer the tough questions.
1566  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 07, 2014, 05:47:10 AM
You never admitted you lied, so we have nothing to discuss.  Once you admit you lied, we can move on... until then, you are just another liar, posting false information, so why bother trying to have a conversation with you?

Ok, I lied. Now, why did you lie on the Monarch web page?
1567  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 07, 2014, 03:57:10 AM
Still waiting for a pdf of the logs.

And I'm waiting on the excuse for this:

Just admit you were wrong or that you lied to try and make your point and you got caught (again) and we can move on.

I never mentioned the tape-out issue. Now, on to the "28nm manufacturer" issue. Your answer?

Inaba ignores anything tough.
1568  Economy / Speculation / Re: rpietila Wall Observer - the Quality TA Thread ;) on: October 06, 2014, 11:44:12 PM
As are my deposits in real banks, which are insured by the FDIC for at least $250,000.

...unlike Bitcoin banks: NeoBee (lol ran), TradeFortress (lol ran), and Ukyo (lol ran), which, unfortunately, are not Undecided

Or you can chose a respectable Bitcoin bank like www.circle.com which insures all deposits through Marsh Insurance. No artificial $250k limit either.
1569  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Negative Difficulty (Difficulty DEcrease) on: October 06, 2014, 06:31:45 PM
We're seeing the effect of how the price affects difficulty. Low price has caused people to buy fewer miners and/or turn them off. My 2 J/GH miners are idle ATM until the price goes way up or I need some heat this winter.

1571  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 06, 2014, 05:44:33 AM
So, lets see.  Numerous edits were not made, in fact NO edits were made.  As no edits were made, there could not have been a chance to of "leaving in place facts that were no longer true."  Since the page wasn't edited, there was no "people editing the page knew they were no longer true statements" and by logical deduction, they could not have "chose to leave them in place."

I'm talking about other quotes on the Monarch page that were left in place even when they were no longer true. I showed one example (there are many). Why don't you address that issue instead of avoiding it? Let's start with the claim "BFL is the only 28nm chip manufacturer on its 2nd generation ASIC." Why was that quote left in place during edits even when it was no longer true?
1572  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 06, 2014, 04:29:12 AM
Good work Sherlock Holmes. You used shit from a year AFTER the page in question.  It's 2014 NOW you idiot. We're talking about 2013.

LOL, you are so insane. You latch on to some little detail and fail to see the whole picture. We're talking about 2013 and 2014. It's not just about a "tapeout" reference. It's about lots more than that. How BFL leaves invalid information in place as a marketing tool. Big Fat Lies is the cornerstone to your business plan. It always has been. And as long as crooked people like you, Sonny, Nasser, etc are in charge, it'll stay that way.
1573  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 06, 2014, 03:05:31 AM
Not only have I told you that is a false statement, the Internet Archive would seem to disagree with you as well. That would make you a liar.  You wouldn't be posting false information to make yourself feel better about things, would you?  No...

The first time that page was updated, the August Tapeout verbiage was removed.

As I said, numerous edits were made to that page, while Big Fat Lies were left in place. Here's just one example.

Sep 1, 2014

The bottom line is that BFL is the only 28nm chip manufacturer on its 2nd generation ASIC.

Bitmain released their 2nd 28nm chip in July. Since I don't have the exact dates of the Monarch page updates, I'll just post 2 more that prove edits were made to that page after Bitmain released their 2nd chip.

In Aug the old stats were there: https://web.archive.org/web/20140824162506/http://www.butterflylabs.com/monarch/
In Sep the new stats were there: https://web.archive.org/web/20140901161740/http://www.butterflylabs.com/monarch/

Conclusion. I win. You lose.
1574  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive Manufacturer Trustworthiness Guide [12th Sept] on: October 06, 2014, 12:52:32 AM
It was true at the time the advertisement was made,  which was the point of the accusations made which I was responding to.

Numerous edits were made to the page over many months, every time leaving in place "facts" that were no longer true. Since the people editing the page knew they were no longer true statements, and they chose to leave them in place, they became BFL (Big Fat Lies).

* Rewards points are ~1%.
* Using bitcoin at gyft.com gives you 3%.

Winner: BITCOIN.

And how many percent did Bitcoin fall JUST TODAY? Cheesy
Saved for future reference.

You need a hand with the math?

I plan on living about 100 years, so looking at the daily ups/downs of any of my assets is just noise. My USD holdings drop several percentage points virtually every single year. For my bitcoin holdings, 2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013 have been amazing years. 2014 is an outlier. Talk to me again in 2024 and we'll compare USD to BTC.

Isn't it funny that one month after my GB SP30 were delivered that the difficulty stopped? Looking back in the GB thread makes me smile at all those replies with nonstop +20% difficulty increase projections.

Nah, the difficulty increases started slowing down in July, before those were delivered.

Let's take a look back at when it started:

Quote from: RoadStress
Please don't troll this thread. Thinking that the difficulty will raise nonstop with 15% is simply unreal and it's bad intended.

Since the GB was opened, the difficulty increases have averaged 13.3%. 15% was a damn close estimate for more than a dozen difficulty increases.

Your comment was based on JWU42's estimate:

http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php?diff=6978842650&dcosts=4995&diff_mincrease=15&blpbtc=25&dhsmhs=5400000&diff_mincreasedecrease=0.5&btcusd=453.80&dpowcon=2500&btcusd_mincrease=1&pcost=0.115&calcweeks=32&dleadtime=9&action=calc#

After 13 increases he estimated the difficulty would be 35.5 B. It is now 34.6 B. Great estimate JWU42!
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 02, 2014, 05:03:12 AM
Let's face facts...

The single power connector on the Titans and Neptune is just a big "fuck you" to customers. They are fully aware that the designs needed a minimum of two connectors to function safely and reliably. And adding a second connector would have cost pennies.

They purposely designed them to operate poorly to punish us just like they didn't bother to attach heat sinks on the FrankenJups knowing full well that they wouldn't survive shipping. No one is that incompetent!

It's all in the KNC business plan. Every miner they ship reduces the income from their farm. Every miner that breaks down increases the income from their farm.
1578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: {BFL} Here's a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOK at your Monarch! on: October 02, 2014, 03:01:52 AM
So it's 6 AM soon and I'm off to sleep but I'll post the proof as requested. The proof that a Monarch really exists and it isn't just a myth or cgi. Or maybe I spent the last four hours making the "real and gritty looking" cgi renders. You'll never know.

Now that some Monarchs are in the wild, reports are coming in that they spring leaks. I hope yours doesn't leak.
1579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ANTMINER S4 Discussion and Support Thread on: October 01, 2014, 06:37:25 PM
Hello all,

Bitmain has employed me to help liaise with the community and later provide technical support. They have done this in order to help provide:

1) timely technical support
2) provide better feedback (if I don't know, I can find out from the people within Bitmain who will)
3) provide product and sales input from you guys directly into the company. If something is going wrong, YOU can fix it
4) provide native English press releases - less ManderEnglish, more sense.

This is a paid position, however it will in no way affect my independence or freedom in being critical towards Bitmain outside of this thread. My contract specifically stipulates:

Quote
Dogie will speak on behalf of BITMAIN and will not criticize BITMAIN in these threads. Dogie still reserves the right to criticize BITMAIN in his other threads. Both parties acknowledge that this relationship has no impact whatsoever on BITMAIN’s rating or standing in “Dogie’s ‘Manufacturer Trustworthiness” thread.

This means I won't sit here and reply to every post saying Bitmain is a scam, don't buy from Bitmain etc etc, in this thread. It does NOT prohibit me from saying that in my own threads, if that is what I believe. It also has absolutely no impact on their rating in the Manufacturer trustwothiness thread [in which Bitmain just went down 10 points].

Good to see Bitmain getting some real support. It was desperately needed.

With Dogie and Bitmain coming to an agreement about open criticism in other threads and Dogie's openness about the relationship, I'd tend to agree the conflict of interest is very minor. It'll be quite clear if Dogie continues to be impartial.

I like the design, the PSU and I think it can be OC'ed. If you don't count the energy costs in, you can get positive ROI in a couple of months.

A "couple"? Two? No chance of that. Here's an optimistic calc with 10% and lower difficulty increases.

http://btcinvest.net/en/bitcoin-mining-profit-calculator.php?diff=34661425924&dcosts=1450&diff_mincrease=10&blpbtc=25&dhsmhs=2000000&diff_mincreasedecrease=3&btcusd=413.24&dpowcon=1200&btcusd_mincrease=0&pcost=0&calcweeks=32&dleadtime=0&action=calc

Break even in about 8 months if you have free energy and have 100% uptime. If you pay for energy you never break even.

Seriously? You're arguing that 8 months constitutes "a couple of months"?
