1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple (XRP) goes up, Bitcoin stays flat or even lose value on: September 23, 2022, 05:31:40 AM
I think what do you need to do is to see bitcoin as the leading coin always so having a different reaction on the market with lead to differences in the prices  and if you treat it as different asset,  then you might want to always get both if you have the capacity to do so.

If I want to be speculative, then I would buy it also.
1562  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Ask about The Best Wallets for Bitcoin ? on: September 22, 2022, 04:28:48 PM
We could recommend a lot of stuff and a lot of wallets that you could try and determine the best wallet for you, but in general, what I think is that the best wallet to have is the one you own, meaning you generate the seed phrases. You have kept it in secure storage whenever you need it.
1563  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Will there be more efficient mining hardwares? on: September 22, 2022, 12:26:41 PM
If we follow Moore’s law, we will achieve better and more efficient miners. Moore’s law indicates that the density of the transistors or any integrated circuit inside a component would be significantly smaller and produce more and more power and efficiency.

I think everyone wants to improve their stuff and make it even more efficient. It’s not just with integrated circuits, but also in life in general, because we all know that we don’t want to be stuck on the slower than we are because we would be able to produce more and be effective.

There will always be a cost to it and having more components in a device because compacting and making things more smaller would be hard to do, so it definitely would cost more. Understanding that would be beneficial for you because you would know why it is like that.
1564  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Twitch To Ban Gambling Streaming By October 18th. on: September 21, 2022, 06:58:17 PM
They probably can't control it or something. Upon reading the article, it's about the crypto wagering problem that occurs with streamers. They have probably built something already and would move to a new platform. I think that's what's going to happen. They wouldn't have an enormous backlash since most users there aren't for gambling slots, but games.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: September 21, 2022, 02:40:17 AM
Another week without F1 and also for me without football clubs.
Same feels.  Sad

I have a question for all of you, after this little break and with the majority of position settled, if you are a team principal what you do? You start to prove 2023 piece or you keep upgrading the 2022 car?
I'm not an expert on here but if I were to be a team principal, I would focus on 2023 now because that's where I could make the most impact instead of this year, 2022 since it's not gonna make any dent or significant changes for sure. I would make sure that I could carry over the progress that I have for 2022 to 2023.

Because i think we can see some upgrades thinking more in 2023 than the 2022 car in the next races, RB can try a lot of things with the gap their have against the other teams.
Red Bull has a lot of freedom in terms of experimenting and if they keep on winning, that means they are doing the right things. Shocked
1566  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Internet detective Shahan is likely a future scammer on: September 21, 2022, 02:05:34 AM
From what I saw from the posts, you are buying positive reviews. I see here that you are incentivizing to put reviews on your service/site that you have, which I think is okay but demanding "positive" reviews instead of their honest opinion of your service makes it somewhat of a "bribe" situation. That's going to be untrustworthy actions. It should be honest and just really reviewing the service and unbiased.

What do you think about this, OP?

I don't need anything from this forum so I say what I think. I don't do signature campaigns and deas here and I am non bias opinion here.
How is that unbiased opinion when you are not basing your accusation on anything tangible or real? You are basing on ethnicity and comparing average wage earners 300 USD a month equal to a scam already?
1567  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Education Resources to learn bitcoin from scratch on: September 20, 2022, 05:36:59 PM
Most people come here to learn and possibly learn how they could probably earn with Bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency. The place that they could start is the Beginners & Help section of the forum. They would be able to check How to earn BTC, beginner wallets, and many more basic topics that you might possibly be interested.

Anyway, I think the best thing to utilize here is the search function to check different sections on a topic that might be existing already. This is best to keep the forum clean and prevent repetitive topics on the forum.

1568  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Show off your hardware wallet on: September 20, 2022, 05:14:36 PM
TBH, I really like Trezor with their feature of being able to generate a new wallet with a different phrase.
Are you saying you can have multiple recovery phrases on your Trezor at the same time without having to recover from seed each time you switch between them? And is there even a "switch" that needs to be done or does the Trezor just work perfectly fine with multiple seed phrases? If that's correct, it really is a nice feature, I agree with that. So how many recovery phrases can you use simultaneously? If I have 5 different Bitcoin wallet/accounts, can each one have its own phrase?
From my understanding, it creates a new wallet with every different password phrases. I'm not sure how it works completely but I'm just amazed that it could be done. I haven't fully utilized it since I didn't input a password phrase with the main wallet I'm using. It's just probably going to be handy if you are planning to hide a wallet from a person that knows you personally or something. At least that's how I think it would come in handy.
1569  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Show off your hardware wallet on: September 20, 2022, 09:22:05 AM
You only shared that one picture, but judging by the casings, they seem to be in good condition. I see something that looks like color residue or ink on the "Z" and "R" characters on the Trezor. How long have you had them and have you had any issues with the devices?
There's no color residue or anything, it's the reflection from my monitor to the HWs. My first one was the Nano X and I have been with it since the pre-pandemic stage. For the Trezor T, it's quite new. Just last year.

When you say "manage crypto" are we talking about day-to-day operations or what does that mean to you?
I hope the seeds are unique on each HW.  Grin
More of an always being used type of thing and then the other one is just like cold storage that is never touched or seldomly touched.

How would they do in a head-to-head battle? What do you like with the Trezor that you don't like with the Ledger and vice versa?
TBH, I really like Trezor with their feature of being able to generate a new wallet with a different phrase. As long as you remember the phrase, then it would be okay. With Ledger, I can transact using my phone, so it's easy. I think they have both strong points with different ends.

It depends on when you purchased your Nano X... If you got it in the past year or so, you've probably dealt with some of "these issues" due to its buggy nature so that one should be for the hodling part and the Model T for managing your cryptocurrencies on a regular basis. Did I get it right?
Yeah, you pretty much got it right XD

I'm surprised no one has posted a review for the Nano S Plus! Should I order it for fun and make a short review?
Yes, you should order one. :p

I believe it's the other way around. I think he trusts the Trezor more than he does Ledger. So Trezor is his long-term storage device that doesn't get accessed that often, and Ledger is for smaller daily amounts, altcoins, and whatever crwth is interested in. Ledger has greater support for altcoins and more 3rd-party services and partnerships, which might fall into the "managing crypto" category.
Well, I both use them in terms of being used but it's just that Trezor is being turned on most of the time. So I guess it's okay? I haven't fully thought about it yet  Shocked

1570  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinmarketcap login on: September 20, 2022, 08:49:10 AM
I used my Binance account and it works with no hiccups. I'm not sure why it's like that though. Maybe it's with the browser or something with the JavaScript or whatever it is they use?

Maybe try to forget password just to test it again? Just like what Charles-Tim said?
1571  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Show off your hardware wallet on: September 19, 2022, 01:40:53 PM
I just saw this thread from this post, and I would like to show off mine. One Ledger X and One Trezor Model T

I wanted to try these two popular wallets because they have different purposes for me. One is for managing crypto, and the other is for HODLing only. Guess which one is which  Tongue
1572  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin as an electronic currency, can it be use for bet gambling on: September 19, 2022, 09:50:38 AM
As long as the site you are playing on accepts BTC, it can be usable. You should've known that by then.

Checking the post history of OP, it seems like he is spamming and using translate to post in local forums or something. It certainly is suspicious and probably trying to continuously go for post count. Be wary of this.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Well! Bitcoin doesn't have this problem on: September 19, 2022, 05:28:33 AM
The problem I see here is the part where the hospital or the one doing the services would have a hard time dealing with crypto because they might have to do some legal stuff in accounting to account for that. It will depend on the acceptance of BTC. If the hospital is willing to, I think it would be okay, or find someone willing to trade it for you locally.

But I think the lesson here is that if you controlled the actual wallet, she wouldn't have been in that situation; I think we should all agree on that.
1574  Economy / Economics / Re: What is regulations turning into on: September 19, 2022, 02:20:30 AM
With everything that has happened, there are a lot of drawbacks with everyone being affected, with just people wanting privacy, but the challenge is that it would be hard to prove that knowing how it works, you know.

I'm concerned about the sanctions being on the open source software that it's the people who use it with bad intentions and not the software that has done the wrong deeds.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Few crypto thoughts of the day on: September 18, 2022, 08:04:07 AM
As far as the cryptocurrency market is going, we would never know what would happen until we're there ourselves. However, to make an educated guess about it, it's still best to keep an optimistic mind because if you believe in BTC, then it might just spread and people would see that at this price, it's still relatively cheap.

Building a portfolio is essential if you are looking forward to making things better for your future in the long run. I think having that would be beneficial to your money investment-wise.

Just believe what you want and take the appropriate risks.
1576  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How mentally prepared are you? on: September 18, 2022, 06:14:53 AM
I think the best teacher would always be experienced. Imagine being able to share lots of ups and downs in the market until you are entirely immune to it, and you won't be as emotional as you were before. There are a lot of us like this admit it  Wink, and it's just that we learn to adapt and not be too frightened of what the market could do. You can get anything with it if you know what you are doing.

Also, please do not borrow money to invest in Bitcoin, and only invest what you can afford to lose.

There are ways to get it because understanding that you know what you are doing can either give you the best thing you have done or not. Borrowing is not always the solution, but it can be taken advantaged of.
1577  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting becomes to high on: September 17, 2022, 04:49:24 PM
I would never want to experience that again. I did have a time when I would really want to recover my losses and that's just when I put my money to the test and just lost it all again. It was just so depressing at that time and that's the time I also realized that it shouldn't be like that and it's going to be a problem in the long run. If it becomes a habit, then that's gonna be even worse.
1578  Economy / Economics / Re: More people now work in clean energy than in fossil fuels on: September 17, 2022, 02:06:52 AM
It was big news back in 2019 due to the surviving apple co founder being involved.

I think they raised close to $1 billion dollars in funding.
I never did come across this news back in 2019 and I probably have missed it or something. It's been 3 years since its genesis and having no updates at all is just devastating because there's no improvement or something. Maybe the research done there has not yet been born fruit but that is worth publishing and the risk that it has with the unknown is a factor

They simply turn into ghosts or phantoms and disappear.
They are probably trying to save face or something, knowing that they are out there exposed or they have no publishable data or something like that.
1579  Economy / Economics / Re: More people now work in clean energy than in fossil fuels on: September 15, 2022, 11:48:35 PM
We all know that fossil fuels were really the bread and butter of the era that we are in now. Renewable energy wasn't a thing much back then but now, at least people realize the importance of having an alternative resource of energy because of the causes that fossil fuel has to the environment and how it affects the global temperature which everyone is affected on.

There haven't been many updates on this. But I would have to guess that crypto is being used to fund many renewable energy ventures around the globe.
I don't think that there are more crypto-funded projects in the renewable sector but it's definitely increasing. Everything that has been part of the side of mining should find ways to lessen the cost of mining a BTC so probably that's why there are crypto-funded renewable energy projects.

Is renewable power taking over? Or is it simply less efficient. Requiring greater manpower and more jobs to generate an equivalent sum of electricity? But then if it does create more jobs. Maybe that makes it a good thing.
It's definitely going to take over, it's just a matter of time. Imagine the amount of energy you can generate if you just have the right equipment to capture and store energy. The world can be saved because of that IMO.
1580  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How To Become A Profitable Trader with stop loss and trailing stop loss on: September 15, 2022, 03:10:10 PM
I know that as long as you are using limit trades, you would be able to save on fees. You could also add the part where you can use BNB to reduce and have discounts. When you are at that promo time, I think you should be able to take advantage of those limited fees.

There's probably no catch as long as you are trading correctly. Some of it probably wants people to sell more to have different kinds of things.
  • To have more trading volume
  • More traders in a position (maybe waiting for liquidation?)
  • To more exposure to the exchange

I think that's the best way to see it, TBH. I hope you can continue to profit in your trading journey, OP. I am taking advantage of it with my trading bot, Gunbot. With the market maker strategy.
