1581  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl? on: June 19, 2023, 02:47:51 PM
Yes have decided to go with most advice and just hold till the bull run.

Everyone has the target for holding till bullrun and we must also have the understanding of which coin to invest and which one to avoid because eventually it may not be all the coins that we see will all partook from this bullrun exercise, some projects will fail along the way and go bankrupt, while some will manage to escape it.

I am not experienced trader so don't want to risk losing everything I hold.

I don't know the present coin you're holding now but i will advise that you also try to diversify your investment on more than one cryptocurrency investment and try add more fews to reduce the cost  cost on loss abd increase your profitability.

Hopefully we are only months away from the bull run now as it has been testing my patience lately holding but will continue to do so.

Bullrun will begin next year as we all believed from the past years Halving experience, but before then, we may be on a high volatility on the market, early 2024 within the month of March to May we should expect Halving taking place.
1582  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: We are about to enter altcoin season, what do you think? on: June 19, 2023, 02:36:16 PM
After the SEC's lawsuit against the binance exchange, I think we are about to enter. It was not bad, in fact, it gave a good buying opportunity for Cirus, I bought it at almost atl price.

Though this may just be a coincidence and the lawsuit against Binance has nothing to do with the all time low for any cryptocurrency at hand, though we are more likely to go more low even than this soon since we are approaching the period of high volatility and also in the same way, we can have the surge experience that the market price goes up as we keep getting closer to bitcoin halving, this will make many other cryptocurrencies to also rises and investing now is not a bad idea or decision to take.
1583  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: June 19, 2023, 12:51:41 PM
We keep on with learning anytime we gamble either we win or not as long as we took in the risk for making such attempt to gamble, this life is a learning ground whereby we keep on learning every days of our life, gambling have the logical explanation of how we play and understand it determines the results we are liable to bring out of it, we are also expected to learn from every experience we had through gambling and apply as needed in our daily lives.
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 19, 2023, 12:17:23 PM
I also think that gender has nothing to do with it , I have always seen that some of the people who play the most are men and there are very few Women , but I think that there are some women who want to play but are ashamed that they look at casinos, because people will always think that if they are in a casino they are people who are addicted and Women always take care of that type of comment, so the ideal solution for them is online casinos, that's why everything is There is always a large presence of women in casinos, the only thing is that these statistics are difficult to obtain , only that the casinos can Provide them.

I'd say that responsible women don't gamble a reason why we often just see men on the casinos while women are left home or working hard. And some reason is that they are not suitable in this place as people/gamblers will look down on them. So whether the casino welcomes them but it is somewhat not looking good seeing women on the table gambling, unless they are just watching or with someone who gambles.
I think women should have to consider not getting involved in gambling, and letting their husbands or partner do that instead.

You're absolutely right, it's not common seing women gambling like men do because they already have enough responsibilities to take care of at home being the mother, asise that, a good wife would not want to have the same things her hisba does for a living as her preferences as well because two cannot be wrong at the same time, responsible men also gambles but the two parents cannot both gamble together at the same time becau the family will suffer the consequences together with their children.

Though women may like playing games going out on picnics but not to the extent of gambling because most of them rely on their husbands for a living daily expenses, gambling is not what women were totally forbidden to take part but in doing but only few have developed interest in it and have chosen gambling over any other forms of having fun.
1585  Economy / Gambling / Re: Which are best stake alternatives on: June 19, 2023, 11:42:45 AM
I don`t read the thread but i`m sure that the members gave all interesting casinos. I have another question. Why the OP don`t want to spend 10 minutes and make his own research? It would be easy to find information himself and don`t believe unknown members. And it would take more time to read this thread.

Some people don't want to give it their own time but want to have a better experience with tangible outcome, there's nothing needed on earth that has no supplementary response or answer to on the internet, the time he could have actually use in making his own research is lesser than the one required for him to to through all the replies on this thread and check through various offers mentioned to him, but the only advantage i see here is that he will have more available recommendation in their varieties to choose aside the ones he might get from the internet search base on user's experience.
1586  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: June 19, 2023, 11:04:10 AM
Some gamblers have already achieved this as a success with gambling because they depend all their earnings source from it and they have developed many means through which they source out this income in gambling, it doesn't matter the nature of what we do to earn some income as far as it's a legitimate means or source, if you're able to cope with that with paying your bills and other demanding needs then it's a success but if not, there must be an attempt to make some additional means while it's a failure to have depended on it alone.
1587  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you use a VPN on a casino, even if it is not allowed in their ToS? on: June 19, 2023, 10:09:53 AM
~snip~
I don't understand why you can't use a VPN. Casinos should be commended that they can have the option for people to log into their site, so those things are what they should accept, a casino is interested in people and money, nothing else, play that they spend money, that people have fun. , whether they win or lose, that is why I often do not understand why some do not accept the use of VPN, those who do allow the use of VPN I congratulate them.

In online casinos that are Crypto in nature, they should not put these inconveniences, as I said before, they are interested in people entering to play games, and if they win, then they should be paid, not that they say: "as they entered with VPN they did not We will pay" I mean, for God's sake, this is shameless use, but if instead of winning the player loses and then complains, does the casino refund the money they lost? obviously not, then these things must be seen from every point of view to be fairer..

It's not because casinos want to ban vpns, it's basically because different countries have different gambling rules, and the casino is not allowed to serve people from specific countries, where it is illegal to do so.

So, they check their IP to establish the country, and with a VPN that check is useless, so they have to ban VPNs then.

Obviously the casinos in general would be happy to accept anyone from anywhere, but the laws prohibit that.

You're right, if their own rules go against using such then why not comply than going against their rules, and once they detected that's all, the user account will be freeze, i noticed that's why some gambling platforms go against such was just because they don't want to create a vulnerability avenue for the attackers to hack their system and cheat on them, any suspicious move in such manners will be restricted and blocked by their system ones detected.
1588  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How the casino takes money from you with a deposit bonus on: June 19, 2023, 09:47:16 AM
I agree it's deceptive and yet it's still the popular way to invite gamblers to try their games, I seldom participate in deposit bonuses, because of the requirements, I prefer to deposit with no attachment of unusually high wagering requirements.
Only good if you want to try the platform without thinking of any profit and just want to play be entertained and let whatever happens,  happen, I am more comfortable with that.

There's nothing being deceptive here since they can't just expect receiving bonus from the platform and just make a withdrawal of those bonuses, what the gamblers don't often times know is the conditions they lay for such bonus offers, they gambling platforms will run a lost if they allow withdrawal of bonus without making a deposit first, i believe most of these bonuses were offered just to be used in trying their website and checking their plaform performance by giving a try on it and not to just go ahead straight to withdrawing them except you've meet up with some certain conditions.
1589  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which Crypto coin Do You Gamble with the Most? on: June 19, 2023, 09:12:47 AM
For most of the times I like to gamble with Bitcoin only but when the fees was high due to network congestion I used some other coins like USDT and some meme coins like doge which will not give any returns for holding them so used to gamble with low fees at that time but on general basis bitcoin is my priority and now fees are also normal.

I believe what to first considers is what each individual has in his wallet portfolio and compare it to the cryptocurrency the casino he uses supported, if the have such coin being listed on their casino, one could easily wager money into his casino wallet with any currency he has as long as the casino supports many cryptos, but the commonly used ones are bitcoin, usdt, ethereum, litecoin and many other additional currencies well recognized.
1590  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 19, 2023, 08:43:08 AM
Many people find it difficult to accept who they are and the bad habits that they have, accepting a habit is the first step that will determine if any help offered to you will work. As a gambler, will you find it offensive if you are referred to as a gambling addict? will you easily accept it or try to give excuses like some other people do, saying that they are not addicted to gambling when the signs are clearly there. Do you think identifying as an addicted gambler will make people stereotype you. The answer is different for every gambler here.

Actually some people will take it very offensive for you to call them gamblers not to talk of crowning it with the additional title of an addicted gambler, even though that's whom they were but yet will not like to be identified as such, which means there are things we also know by ourselves that they are not good but yet we keep doing them because we are emotionally addicted to them and can't afford taking a control measures over them to stop, no bad person will want to be identified as a bad person in public despite they know within themselves that they are bad.
1591  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: June 19, 2023, 08:30:35 AM
From what you wrote above, my conclusion is that you are an active gambler. Casinos are not loan service providers that you can easily take money home with, there is no specific method to win 100$ per day, it's impossible for anyone to do. Today maybe you can take home more than $ 100 from the casino, maybe tomorrow luck will not be on your side, that's how the gambling system works. When you expect a win when you go to the casino, that's where you start to defeat yourself. Make the casino a place to have fun, even if your money runs out there, at least you're entertained by the games you play.

Should incase he want to have his source of income from gambling, there's no certainty that the income he may have will be upto $100 per day, i will also make this additional advise that he may try to get a job in gambling sectors and provide them with services they csn pay for, but there's no certainty of receiving upto that amount yet, then he may include gambling in addition which at the end of the day he may result from earnings more than $100 or below each day, but getting this everyday by betting in gambling is just nothing than a dream from slumber.
1592  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Friendly Match is Hard to Predict on: June 19, 2023, 07:58:34 AM
Maybe the teams don't out in much effort since they know it just a friendly match and attract no much concentration unlike the leagues matches they often play, still yet that isn't enough reason which you be attributed to their low performance since all these are what were being calculated along with the major leagues play to sum up a team performance, this makes it more often that much of these friendly matches ended with draw, some gamblers already don't include such match in their games because of uncertainties from the two opponents which remains unpredictable.
1593  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Promoting Meaningful Engagement in the Local Board on: June 17, 2023, 03:29:33 PM
Maybe we are in some ways left back beyond the normal conducts expected and those coming in new to forum needs to be reoreinted in many way, how many of them take time in reading through the forum's rules and regulations or partook in the use of the search button before creating a thread to know of they had been already discussed, have they also been aware of how a quality post is required to be and why some post ended being deleted or landed at off topic
1594  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Equal society is possible.... on: June 17, 2023, 03:22:41 PM
Ye sure, dream on. It would mean everyone has the same intellectual capacity. If your wife is smarter as you no longer equal to her, you are below her standing.
Warm ice-cream is possible.......

There's nothing that is impossible as long as we can give it all it takes to survived through the impossibilities that constitute the whole matter, these kind of midset is what led to the development of an impossible research through an ordinary imagination that something can fly up as against the law of motion if created and this are the ideas that comes up to having an aeroplane, which means if there's unity in the society, anything is achievable among the people.
1595  Other / Off-topic / Re: Am a christian,christ like then why are you still poor. on: June 17, 2023, 03:16:14 PM
If we so study the word very well, we will also discover that many things have been given and supplied to us through it to make wealth as for those always seeking for means to make riches but couldn't arrived on any, everyone has his own time and season, it's always good to wait on ones appointed time to manifest, we can also get ourselves busy doing something qualitative enough to keep us positioned to this time prior it arrival, an idle man is a devil's advocate and workshop.
1596  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Want to invest on: June 17, 2023, 03:11:15 PM
I want to shill some good coin on L1 or L2 blockchain to invest in 2023
1. BRC20 token ( when the solution to make it better token. It will perform pretty good considering it is on BTC Chain )
2. Linea ( L2 for ethereum chain which will probably compatitor of arbitrum )
3. Arbitrum ( the biggest L2 ethereum blockchain )
4. Opside ( the Rollup Service which will provide the easy way to deploy ZK Roll Up )

Of them all, BRC20 token has the highesr bids among others and the rate at which btgis has risen is fast increasing since the introduction of this on the bitcoin network, some had believed that it's because of the network it's used makes it find it's way fast up the ladder while some believed that it was as a result of the developers being smart enough to have introduced such on the bitcoin network, but all we can see is nothing than the good performance in BRC20 token.
1597  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any airdrop hunters here need some leads on: June 17, 2023, 03:04:57 PM
I'm not into airdrops but I do see discussions and threads where hunters are talking about what's possible project they should chase.

And as you've mentioned zkSync, that's one of the many that I've read that they're talking with its airdrops. Those that have been into airdrops, I guess they've got a lot of list to work with.

But it's gonna consume a lot of time and you might end up with nothing again.

Why waste time on airdrop when there are many other already established coins you can go for, am sure it's all because of the free nature of how they can acquire some airdrops is what always attract them to this, but they can't always be reliable when applying for them because of the sources to those airdrops projects aren't genuine themselves, many have left the hunt for the newbie in cryptocurrency.
1598  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: June 17, 2023, 02:59:39 PM
Well keep buying bitcoin then!  Just kidding.  Actually a good project I have been looking into is polygon/matic.  Lots of good things coming from that group and the coin already pulled back a ton from its ath like most coins so now is probably a good time to get into it.  Either way good luck in your altcoin adventure Smiley

I will advise him if this was his first attempt then he should probably start or begins with bitcoin instead of altcoins till he has enough experience to withstand the challenges on altcoins because of the risk of loosing his entire money or investment if the project eventually fails, so i may like to put it this way that altcoins are for the thicker skinned gangs clubs who thinks they are it enough for taking any risk on investment.
1599  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Linea Voyager Quest Discussion on: June 17, 2023, 02:55:26 PM
Creating the thread to all forum users who are engaging on Linea Voyager Quest. Heads up to all, we can all discuss and help out each other upon completing this task for the Linea testnet campaign on galxe. Im starting off the discussion with the official link of Galxe campaign:

https://galxe.com/Linea/campaign/GCzWYUZXj4

Also its quite comparable the last quest with 2500 points to the normal quest of Linea through on chain and off chain weekly task. 11m total participants vs 300k plus means the difference are too big for real users.

It seems farmers and bots are heavily joined. Hope to cut them down for the next remaining two weekly task for its completion.

This is interesting to see at least it's a good take to have the weekend completed with this, it's another opportunity coming on the way through which only those that are ready to participate will partake in such, i think it's worth giving a try, I've also been around to see something like this coming from the source i could trust their delivery ability, i believe it's something one can give a tasteful experience on each bite.
1600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 17, 2023, 01:58:46 PM
Do you think the results of the research above are correct?

I know that the number of women involved in gambling is very small because in some countries, people's views of female gamblers are still very bad and they are considered dirty and unfit to be a wife. maybe the results of this research can be used by gambling business owners in developing their business.
I cannot attest to the credibility of this research but I can say that I agree with them whether right or wrong. Women do not gamble much. In my country, there are not many casino's but many sports betting places. You barely find women in these places because of how inappropriate it is to find women in this kind of places. Women gamble more secretly than openly, because of how unacceptable many society has made this character to be. In my country, Men gamble more than women.

We cannot expect woman to be found in some specific gambling settings or environment because it's not that good enough for their kind of personality, men have been found in many ways being rugged in adaptation to many environmental conditions unlike women, this does not limit to he physical gambling alone, the online casino gambling also have this same experience with low number of women participation in gambling.
