1581  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin to hit the $30.000 mark before 2020 on: September 24, 2017, 08:56:13 PM
Just spoke with several financial experts with backgrounds in the banking sector. They told me once Japan opens itself up to the Bitcoin the currency is very likely to reach the 30.000 USD mark before 2020 since
Japan has been known to be a trendsetter and have high influence on the EU and US markets.

I think we have already seen what the Japanese impact will be on Bitcoin. Adoption is going to slow down over the coming

months, if the price falls like this. The FUD that are being spread in China and Jamie's negative statements at JP Morgan is

going to scare away potential adopters. { They do not question mainstream media } Sheep just follow price movements.  Tongue
I think you did not factor in the profound resilience of Bitcoin in drawing your conclusion. The market have moved beyond China's gimmicks after their latest onslaught and the only thing ahead capable of holding Bitcoin back is the looming hard fork/split of the network. Should that end as a nonevent then the doors for great leap in price of Bitcoin just got thrown apart.
1582  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC analysis for this month! on: September 24, 2017, 08:20:46 PM
I am a steady Price Action trader who loves to derive levels on his own by watching naked charts only because I never use any indicators to draw where the price will tend to move.
I understand how price action works, but your assertion that you use no indicators need to be corrected, because the pivot points I see in the image are price-based level indicator that helps a trader spot support and resistance levels in the market.
Quote
In the image above, we can clearly see that Bitcoin is currently at level which should be determined as the Pivot point as the coin is currently moving with good stability currently with no such harsh moves.
It is currently in a triangle and could break up any time towards high because the momentum towards upside is looking much better against a drop.
It is currently holding hard at its Pivot level and Support 1 (3500) seems unlikely atm seeing the gains it has made so far.
As we have come to know it, Bitcoin have always shown propensity to go up, because more adoption readily translates to more demand and the only explanation for above market set up is that market has began marking time for the outcome of proposed hard fork next month and which is by the corner.
1583  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin @4500$!!!! on: September 24, 2017, 07:15:11 PM
Btc was 4500$ about 1week sgo. But JP Morgan said it is fraud. Then it came to 3000$. Now it is 3600-3700$.

I think it will go avobe 4000$ at the end of this month. What's your opinion?
 Wink
We may see bitcoin above $4,000 before end of this week and from there we would be heading to $5000. Another good thing that has happened is that bitcoin have been legalized in Japan and the Japanese's government has started to give License to cryptocurrency exchangers. This is going to boast trading activities in Japan as government is trying to build confidence on bitcoin which is definitely going to influence cryptocurrency pricing.
Looks to me all that are going to be on hold pending what becomes of the network after the next leg of Segwit2x, which unfortunately is a hard fork. November is already in view and I think most traders and investors are now sitting on the fence awaiting the answers to the fundamental scaling questions.
1584  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading altcoin and holding bitcoin which one is more profitable? on: September 24, 2017, 06:44:47 PM
If you can successfully trade altcoin then it is definitely more profitable because generally you trade bitcoin-altcoin with the idea of growing your bitcoins, it is then clear to see that this would be more profitable than just holding your bitcoins.
In theory trading altcoins might seem appealing than holding Bitcoin, but practically they are not. Altcoins are speculative tools and are full of surprises at the end of the day, it is the whales that manipulate their way to profit, while small players are left with just hopes that it would pump again soon.
1585  Economy / Economics / Re: IS THERE ANY POSSIBILITY OF A PRICE REDUCTION FOR FUTURE BITCOIN on: September 24, 2017, 06:19:13 PM
Bitcoin approved and discovered in the world on 2009 and the first price is $0.

And this the history and bitcoin table when discovered in the world from 2009.[Using USD Rate 2017]
2009 [Discovered] - 1btc = $0  Huh
2010 - 1btc = $0.1 - $0.08  Cry
2011 - 1btc = $0.75  Angry
2012 - 1btc = $9.04  Angry
2013 - 1btc = $301.20  Angry
2014 - 1btc = $753.01  Sad
2015 - 1btc = $451.81  Angry
2016 - 1btc = $828.31  Roll Eyes
2017 - 1btc = $3664.25  Shocked

From this list we know bitcoin is not stable , frequently make increase and reduction on price.

Is there a possibility of a decline in the price of the bitcoin future , in doing so we must make a choice better invest a bitcoin or not ?  Shocked
There is always a possibility of price decline but as you can see on the chart, it always bounce back which means it already have a momentum to go up. Investing in bitcoin as a long term is wise decision, as you can see JP Morgan is desperate to make the price go down so they can buy at low price but it always bounce back and will always be.
From the list, something that is not immediately obvious and that could throw more light on what transpired is that as the years went by, awareness and adoption increased and so does the value of Bitcoin. Ordinarily the fluctuations in price were not going to be that pronounced but for PBoC meddlesome tendencies. At the end of the day, Bitcoin always bounces back and that should be the final message to all bitcoiners.
1586  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price rising anytime soon? on: September 24, 2017, 05:49:27 PM
We can not say when it will rise again. bitcoin value is unpredictable one of the reasons is the Chinese news spoof talk about. But I hope it will soon rise again as many investors and traders are panicking right now. I hope the exchanges in China will bounce back.

I don't see the investors or traders that are panicking and if that were to be the case, the strong support Bitcoin experienced around the $3000 price level won't have been that formidable and you can see market have not gone that low again after many days. The market is anticipating the proposed hard fork come November, until then we would be seeing a more or less dull market.
1587  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 24, 2017, 01:44:55 PM
Apparently it is not only bitcoin that was affected, most altcoins went down to all because of the uncertainty of which the Chinese regulations will influence the crypto ecosystem and the possibility of other countries to adopt and implement similar regulations...but imo its better to hold on to your coins you bought as price could easily raise by a 1000 dollars in a day and allow you to break even.
I was already happy when i do see bitcoins price did hit up again on 4k range but now when i do see again on its recent price we are heading down again 3649 as of writing which do really suck to see these prices on bitcoin but well its still okay i do wait a little bit more for buying cheaper bitcoins because i do know price would really rise up again and for op just hold on to your bitcoin.
i think there is still some panic in the market which is not letting the price of bitcoin to increase, but still i think that people are giving good support to bitcoin which is not letting the price to fill down from 3000$ and hope that this time again it will bound back from that level and hope that this time it will surely hit 5000$ in a very smooth way.
You're right, the market is lacking in momentum because people are a bit apprehensive about what would become of the proposed hard fork of the network is going to unfold. The proponents of Segwit2x and Bitcoin core are still having divergent opinions and those are sure to rob on the network. Wait n see is the name of the game!
1588  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 24, 2017, 01:35:28 PM
of course not. let's we think. many people who are rich, they tend to be arrogant even impolite to the elderly. however, we cannot deny that money is important for us to survive. it doesn't mean that we make it as primary purpose of our life.
Some poor people are arrogant too, so the problem is not with the money par se, but the attitude of a person. If you have money and able to remain in control, that is how it should be, but when money is the one in charge, then everything is out of control because such a person would be no less a beast!
1589  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? Your suggestions please. on: September 24, 2017, 12:51:55 PM
Honeslty man I would suggest holding your ETH. It is backed by Microsoft and so you know it is likely to succeed and increase in value over the coming years.
Beyond that a whole lot of other altcoins and tokens depend on it for existence and that can be viewed from the point of view of a huge community base and by extension a liquid market thriving with buyers and sellers.
1590  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After China & Russia, now India on: September 24, 2017, 12:39:28 PM
I hope the bitcoin returns to its original state, which is where all countries receive bitcoin so bitcoin comes back to its original level,  where its price increases and everyone is free to have or play bitcoin  Cheesy
There never was such a state and never shall be, because Bitcoin is perceived as a threat by most governments, especially the ones with somethings to hide. If it were such, that they were able to call the shots and manipulate Bitcoin the way they do with their local currencies, all these dust in the air and finger pointing won't have arisen in the first place. At any rate, it is nothing to lose sleep for, Bitcoin is a dark horse, this line of action will only end up making Bitcoin more popular and valuable.
1591  Economy / Economics / Re: Most people dont even know what this is yet. on: September 24, 2017, 10:48:02 AM
I called around some stores to see if they accept BTC, no one has even heard of it except like 0.1% of people.  Wait till people actually find out this exists...

Of clurse even if bitcoin is more rampant now than before there are still a considerable amount of people that doesnt know or who still doesnt realize what the power of bitcoin can do to their lives and in their business. Most people are now hust starting and its up to us to further it.
There are reasons why some people would continue to ignore Bitcoin:

1.  some people just don't want to put their faith one more time on another internet money after all they have heard or experienced;

2. Bitcoin and the technology behind it, is knowledge based and that already is a barrier for many;

3. infrastructure and communication devices are elusive and a luxury in some part of the globe.
1592  Economy / Economics / Re: Why Should I Choose Bitcoin ?? on: September 24, 2017, 10:19:02 AM
Very Low Fees. Currently there are either no fees, or very low fees within Bitcoin payments. With transactions, users might include fees in order to process the transactions faster. ... Digital Currency exchanges help merchant process transactions by converting bitcoins into fiat currency
Seriously  you're not on this boat and you would end up  confusing and misleading newbies with such falsehood!

In recent times, the transaction fees of Bitcoin have been quite high and there are delays in confirmation time - they say the network is congested. The community is however, very concerned about the development because very low transaction fees and fast confirmation used to be the hallmarks of Bitcoin. The signalling and activation of Segwit is a move geared to resuscitate all that and soon we might be able to have cheap and fast transactions again.
1593  Economy / Economics / Re: What should I do ? Your suggestions please. on: September 23, 2017, 11:42:52 PM
I thought that there was an instantaneous decrease in ethereum with bitcoin.and after these events I thought of as a momentary decrease, I got 50 ethereum  from 260 dollars. I can not decide what to do with certain levels. Of course, it is not right to make sales like this.my mind came up with the idea of joining an ico or a going ico . I thought maybe I could save the damage in this way, but I'm not quite sure. what should i do? Should not I?I've been loss since the day. I do not want to loss any more, but I can not find a solution. I am delighted to share your ideas in this regard.
Ethereum is the second most capitalized coin after Bitcoin, so it is a good competition for Bitcoin and so at times like this when Bitcoin would be facing some fundamental issues, I think holding your Ether would be well wort it. If I may, what approach or method did you use in turning $260 to 50 Ether?

In fact there is! On July 2017, you did not include the fork that just happened which significantly reduced the rice of bitcoins down to $1950. Also, the price of bitcoins also decreased recently like 2-3 weeks ago due to China's banning of ICOs in their country. There are many factors that affect the price of bitcoins and due to its volatility, it is also very hard to predict whether there may be an increase or decrease on the short-term perspective. But the chart you provided is very accurate towards the increasing part of its price. Even though there are factors that decrease its price, it still remains that in the long-run perspective, the price of bitcoins still increase.
You might want to take cognizance of the fact that the leap from $9.04 in 2012 to well over $1000 and then down to $301.20 in 2013 was orchestrated by China's massive adoption  of Bitcoin and then PBoC first attempt to keep Chinese people away from it. Price eventually soared afterwards. Now it's the globe that is fast embracing and driving the price of Bitcoin up and China again have stepped in to burst the bubble. I hope there're people who can figure out that history is about to repeat itself?
1595  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: September 23, 2017, 10:47:05 PM
Put God first! Then I would say Yes.

They say money can't buy happiness but it's better to cry inside a Limousine than to cry in a Bicycle. They also say that if you're slave to money then you'll die but that's part of our existence because we all die anyway. And so what's the point in all of these that we're here? The answer would be because basically, we are looking for money.
You're absolutely right, nothing compares to God!

Money is very good because it answers to many things - it can make life much better and enjoyable, it does save life. However, when we become a slave to it, that is when problem begins, because then one becomes susceptible to commit crimes like stealing or even killing to have their way. Actually poverty is the worst ailment that can afflict anyone - little wonder, some people can do just about anything to avoid it, but that's wrong, too much of anything have always proven to be bad!
1596  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: September 23, 2017, 09:59:04 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?
the success of people is not caused by their expertise in the field of trade, but the result of hard work.

I doubt if you hit the right button there, because the days are far gone when one's success is tied to the size of their muscles or how hard they can work. These days, no matter how hard one tries to work, if they're not backed by sound knowledge and experience, that would enable then work smarter and safer, they most likely end up doing much about nothing.

As for what to do so to be able to earn more out of trading, I will like to add that after knowledge, experience and skills the crowning factor would be the display of strength and discipline through patience.
1597  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bought my first BTC @ $4600, slightly worried on: September 21, 2017, 07:56:06 PM
I would suggest along with the holding of coin if you have some extra money start buying some coins regularly. This will help you out to average your cost and make it lower .

In such a way your recover will be faster and also you can earn good profits if you believe in that price is going to rise in coming time.

I think it is a credible idea to start buying more Bitcoin now, but no longer all at once as you did before, instead buy a little and wait to buy more if price drops further to a certain level and you'll turn around to be ahead of the game. At any rate, your first step forward should be the realization that you need trading knowledge and skills to find your feet in trading, else it can be such a pain.

As we warm up for a proposed hard fork in November, the price of Bitcoin is likely to rally above your purchase price before settling lower to await the outcome of the scaling decision. Would not be a bad idea to offload half of your hodl and then followup  the market to buy again after a bottom is confirmed.
1598  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin november hard fork? on: September 21, 2017, 03:04:48 PM
I am tired of hearing bad issues, and the impact is huge. this may be a risk to the trader.
it seems that every time we always face difficulties and big storms.
very sad.
when can we calm down ?? Cry
Well life is two: good and bad; high and low; profit and loss; man and woman, etc, you can never have just one because it is the other leg that makes the entire picture complete and meaningful. At any rate, if you are or become knowledgeable about the market, you would be able to follow and handle "bad issues" as you call them.
1599  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is a good flight to safety? on: September 21, 2017, 02:41:52 PM
So if you have more coins than you are comfortable parking on an exchange (essentially, any amount above zero for me), and you wanted to go to something with low volatility for a few days/weeks/months, what would be your choice?

Obviously, it all depends

I think there is a big difference between time spans like days, weeks, and months. As to me, for short term packing, the US dollar seems to be perfect (or US Treasury bonds). It is totally liquid and accepted everywhere (that should go without saying). But if you want to park your wealth for longer terms (say, up to a few months), you should evidently look into gold (US Treasuries should do just fine too). You don't necessarily have to buy metal gold, you can instead buy gold derivatives like gold ETF's or cash-settled gold futures, and you are pretty much done
I am thinking Treasury Bills, bonds and ETFs would entail lot of studies and getting used to, but we can without much ado also achieve low volatility and stability with a cryptocurrency like Dogecoin. Presently it is very low and thus present not just a safe haven, but also an opportunity for huge profit making, when price rallies again.
