163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dragonchain from disney on: October 20, 2017, 10:00:08 AM

Pretty impressive!  I don't know what to think about the team though - this is the project lead https://www.linkedin.com/in/j0j0r0/ - some serious credentials there.. but look at where he's worked. It's got a pretty heavy data mining, big brother style slant on it?
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: RAREST THAN DIAMOND... on: October 20, 2017, 09:52:51 AM

CRAVE is rarer still!  Grin  The website looks nice, but I'm just not a fan of ETH tokens any more.

ok i guess i wait for 3.03 hope this will solve the problem, loosing so much money is not an option  Tongue
thanks for at least trying to help .....

You're welcome, sorry I assumed this command could be a complete fix for automint missing balance issues and was surprised it wasn't a solution for your situation. Have you tried the slack channel for coin dev support?

Hi guys,
I registered to ask support, although this is probably a noob question... I installed and resynced the wallet 3.0.0 only yesterday. I found no auto converted zpiv (my balance is intact, only Pivx just like before the 16th). Is that normal? Does it just work like before?
Thanks in advance! Cheers

I'd shut it down for now and wait for the 3.0.3 release, there's a few Auto Minting issues that may or may not be completely fixed yet in current v3.0.2.

Thanks. It is a very promising project with instant, dakrsend features, etc. I would like to invest my money in the project, keep it for long-term investment. Really hope that it will make me rich.

It's better than that Smiley  Dark send is superseded by Zero Coin!  Once all the wrinkles are smoothed out (like we're trying to do here right now since the recent switch over) this coin will be amazing and probably be in the top 10 coins.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: October 20, 2017, 07:39:01 AM
hmm i had this setting for almost 24hrs before with no success.
if set this to "don't care" again my wallet will send/convert another 10% to accu and i don't want to do this until i got my 19k back!
understandable? i hope so  Wink

yes it's definitely confusing as to what it's up to and what's going on behind the scenes..

You can disable auto minting completely by starting the wallet with the -enablezeromint=0 command line option, that might make it easier to try different things out without it "stealing" more coins..  Cheesy

That's how I felt for a while at least..

168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: October 20, 2017, 07:24:42 AM
Ok thanks  Grin   I've looked up these TX IDs in the block explorer and they look pretty normal.  So do you have some zPiv balance?  My wallet decided to zPiv 35.74% of my balance, most worked, some didn't .. Did your wallet crash during the conversion, or did it complete 100% but left you with less than before?

zpiv balance is 4 but this are 4 new transcation made since i unlocked my wallet to test your fix (i have set automint demo to 1 in options)

"Did your wallet crash during the conversion, or did it complete 100% but left you with less than before"

- no my wallet never crashed ...
- there where only 5  transaction to Accu (4 x 1k,  3 x 5k) they never came back & everything on privacy tab was allways 0

Maybe try setting the Denom to "I don't care" - it could be trying to turn those large inputs into your preferred output denomination, which might take a long time?  It sound like most of the process has worked as expected, with the obvious issue of "where'd it all go??"
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: October 20, 2017, 07:14:02 AM
Don't share this!!!  Sorry I did mention not to share the output, maybe a DM is better.. Those are your confirmed Zero Coin TXs, it's useful to be able to compare them but they also need to be private.

not sure what to compare but i can't find the transactions from the missing coins in exportzerocoins true output  ...

You can compare the "t" part of the exported output to the TX IDs in the GUI.  Some will be there, some not.  I found all the ones that weren't were in the archive list, then I looked in the source code of the wallet to see what that reconsider command did before running it and it re-processed the missing ones, and my balance is back to where it was prior to the start of automint.

Aww man, sorry to hear/see that  Sad  Can you tell me a bit more about the state of your transaction list?  How many zPiv Accumulator TXs are there?  And if you run exportzerocoins true do you get a whole list of TXs (don't share the output here) ??

In my case, I found the earlier zPiv Acc TXs worked, and the later ones didn't, they got archived instead.

The other thing to check is if you're on a chain fork.   The current block height is 868172 - what does yours say?

172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: October 20, 2017, 06:44:48 AM
The same for me. A few thousand zPiv are missing even after installing 3.0.2 and did reset and rescan. I downloaded the blockchain from scratch and it did not make any improvement.

But now I found this tweet. https://twitter.com/jakimanboy/status/921253349940326400
"Until the newer $PIVX wallet is released, please avoid making any PIV or zPIV transfers. Both 3.0.0 & 3.0.2 are now old. Hang tight. #pivx"

So all we can do now is to wait again  Undecided

As above, it's worth repeating..  Unlock your wallet and run  "reconsiderzerocoins" - it reprocesses the archived zero coin transactions that you can get a list of by going "getarchivedzerocoin".  But just the reconsider step by itself should sort it out.  Also don't try to spend any zPiv until v3.0.3.

did this with version 3.02 -> nothing changed (unlocked befor ofc)

It could take a few seconds.. Did you get a list of TXes back when it ran?

With some help from the fairies, I was able to recover my account back. Hopefully, I don't lose it again. Grin Grin Grin Grin

[NEW PIVX WALLET 3.0.2 RELEASED]

All the initial reported zPIV issues have been addressed in this release.

It is available on pivx.org as well as on the official github.
Please read the release notes from the github link below.
https://github.com/PIVX-Project/PIVX/releases/tag/v3.0.2

NOTE: Plaease AVOID spending zPIV for at least another day or two until more wallets on the network are updated to 3.0.2.

i still miss lot of coins sent to Accu with version 3.0.2
i did all in "zPIV Transaction Recovery" (Reset, ReScan) section, nothing helped so far Sad

Just figured out how to fix this  Grin  Unlock your wallet and run  "reconsiderzerocoins" - it reprocesses the archived zero coin transactions that you can get a list of by going "getarchivedzerocoin".  But just the reconsider step by itself should sort it out.  Whew!

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Doubts about CPU on: October 19, 2017, 06:07:18 PM

And check out masternode coins or high staking coins, they are well suited to CPUs and don't need any extra gear or energy to make regular income.  It beats mining these days in my opinion.  PoW is feeling a bit dated.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So far, Bitcoin Cash is doing what it said it would do on: October 19, 2017, 06:05:08 PM
There's just a lot less transactions, the BCH fee market is non-existent compared to BTC.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LIST - of the proven projects/crypto devs still going strong 1yrs + old - on: October 19, 2017, 06:02:34 PM

CRAVE is still going strong - check it out and then get some passive crypto income, it's great  Grin
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: CRAVE: Revival on: October 19, 2017, 05:56:01 PM
I had masternode and I've changed VPS (IP address)

Do I need to re setup masternode?
I've changed IP address in masternode.config and it works fine for 24 hours. (I see my masternode in masternodes list).

But there're no rewards for 24 hours.

It can take longer than that for it to get started.  If the Active time in the masternode list is going up you should be fine.

Cool guys, thanks Smiley  BSD is a great coin, keep up the awesome progress.

I have been running my MN for months without any issues even after my PC crashes. However, yesterday is a problem and this is the message I get every time I start my masternode:
not capable masternode: Could not connect to xx.xx.xx.xxx:9999
This issue applies to my other MN as well. Same messages etc. Anyone has the same issue and how you go on fixing this?

Has your external IP address changed, or if you're using port forwarding perhaps the internal host got a new IP assigned via DHCP?

The key issue is the node is longer accessible from outside of your network.
