How do you guys average out NXT, I have around 135,000 NXT on an exchange so how much in terms of ARDR would I be receiving because it did not make sense as to an average to what you receive in ARDR.  The snapshotting period is 3 months. If you have 135,000 nxt the whole 3 months you will get 135,000 Ardor. If you have the 135,000 nxt for 2 months you will get 2/3 of 135,000 Ardor and so on. It is recommended not to hold your nxt on an exchange. |

Ha ha, yeah cause Ardor isn't at all just the last desperate effort of the NXT devs to make another few million of off their now dying project.
I think both Iota as Ardor have great potential. Iota because it is a truly new approach > Tangle. Ardor, because the Nxt devs have proven to deliver and it is always good to make the next step, trying to improve your projects/ ideas. |

Should not the value of NXT decline every time a snapshot of ardor is taken?
The value is subjective, did you mean the price? If the price declines, people will afford more NXT to get more ARDOR generating more demand for NXT, and price of NXT goes up again. It's a self-sustaining process  But where do you think will it find a balance? I'm sure not everyone will pay for a higher price in NXT just to claim Ardor. If you care and understand the value of technology, buy small amounts on the dips. If you don't understand the value of this technology and don't want to learn more about it, it's probably best not to buy. Agree, The only thing is that, in my opinion, the information is scattered around a lot of different websites. Nxt could use a more uniform usage of it's corporate identity, so the users are confident that they are using the 'offical' brand. (MyNXT is a great site, but it is quite different form the 'original' nxt (Color scheme, logo, typeface)) A while back I downloaded the desktop client, and it took ages to download the blockchain, so I couldn't use the client straight away. Recently I discovered it that you can download the blockchain at http://peerexplorer.com/ and this is very quick. I think there should be a link near the client download to get the client running fast, with tutorial. People tend to loose interest very quickly and don't want to wait for the whole blockchain to download. Also will there be an (financial) incentive to run Ardor Nodes? Thanks |

I think you mean gold plated. (Although there are a couple of 1000 btc gold Casascius coins!) I think if the price of bitcoin will continues to go up, the premium of the Cas coins will go down. But who knows... If you like coins and crypto, you gotta have Casascius. |

Check the treads, gather information. This way you are able to make a well informed decisions on which Ico, crowdfund, whatever to donate to.
Rise Ico > Not so good donation, but come on!, a copy/paste of Lisk, you should know better.
Iota Ico > Good donation. New tech, great community, great dev team and so on.
Ethereum > Good Ico donation, but to invest now? It's a tough call.
DAO > Not so good donation, too much money donated for everyone to profit, even besides the hack.
So go investigate, be patient and try to be constructive. To have critique is good, but please back it up with facts.
