161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Casinos with Online and Offline version, Are they the same? on: November 18, 2023, 11:58:43 PM
Different names from the same service provider. This is kind of marketing to overcome the negative feedback come for a platform. Maybe this could help the sister concern develop in some countries, but this continues to be a negative factor till the accusations were resolved. When we play on local domain/betting shops those shop owners just use the service of the particular platform same as having a food franchise. The settlement will be done from the shop owners part and his responsible work keeps them on profit and with good reputation against the online version with big number of accusations.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 18, 2023, 11:55:26 PM

Sinner is in a really good form and won against a player that is really good on hard court. Sinner so far with all wins on this tournament and has one more step to win probobly the biggest tournament in his career. Djokovic is tired because he played all matches in three sets but i wouldnt count him out. It will be close for sure.

The second semi final between Alcaraz and Djokovic should be interesting to watch. Haven’t followed tennis in a bit so will not place any bets on it, but Djokovic to win @1.7 is a nice value. He might be tired, but he is still the best right now.

What a match by Djokovic he destroyed Alcaraz in straight sets. I never seen Alcaraz getting mad that he throws the racket. We will see a rematch between Sinner and Djokovic and i think this will an entire new match due to Djokovic playing finals much better then regular matches and Sinner will be under pressure
Thats a big defeat. Alcaraz could've never thought of such a loss against Djokovic. Much expected game have ended in a very short time. It is kind of revenge game from Djokovic, and it will take time for Alcaraz to come prepared from the loss. Djokovic once again proved that he's experienced one.
163  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the right age for financial stability? on: November 17, 2023, 11:57:31 PM
Some people, during their youthful years, live a very lavish lifestyle with the money that they are supposed to put to good use, knowing that one day they will grow old. Some people only think that it's when they are growing old, like at the age of 30 and above, that's when they must start to invest or save to invest.

Some people think that they can live a lavish lifestyle as long as they are still 20 years old, and maybe when they get to 25 years old, that's when they can start to invest for their future.
I think it is very dumb to intentionally lavish one’s early stage just because they think of themselves as young. For a fact, you are young, but sooner or later, you’re going to grind for financial stability. Now, isn’t it smarter to do it as early as possible? They say “early to bird, early to rise”. You should start saving as early as possible, start investing as soon as you can because one day responsibilities will fall on you shoulders and how you’ve lived your life is what will impact everything.
We should be prepared to meet the unexpected. Life gives unexpected turns in life and we need to be stable, if something happens. Atleast for this purpose we need to concentrate on making ourselves stable along with the enjoyment when one is young. When we are in a situation to carry our family or to handle responsibility, if we don't have the required fund at that time nothing give hands. Maybe we can get into frustration. Thinking the past days never get us on the track, we need to think and run for the better outcome. As said doing things at the earliest is the best in the fast moving world.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is exchange based tokens worth for hold? on: November 17, 2023, 11:47:05 PM
Considering every exchange platform backed coin, we can see good rise in the value and the same getting dumped when the market is down. At times it is possible to see binance coin show signs of bullish trend when rest of the market is bearish. This is all because of the new launches happening during those time period. There is good chance of progress, but it all depends upon the market and the exchange functioning. Small flaw is enough to down the market which is a big risk. Another thing some expect these coins to perform independently which is not happening. In all means the market is tied to the bitcoin price movement.
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a get rich quick scheme. on: November 17, 2023, 11:41:41 PM
Bitcoin have served as a quick rich scheme for few people around the world. This had happened out of their better understanding about bitcoin and the technology. Because of the same they kept hold of the bitcoins from the earlier days and made themselves rich. Some even got lucky to make themselves rich out of bitcoin. Even now it isn't late, just on someone had made themselves rich we shouldn't expect the same to happen for us. Our responsibility is to learn, understand and move forward. We can be successful in the long run.
166  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will it Hold? BTC Targets $40,000 on: November 17, 2023, 11:24:12 PM
It will reach $40,000 for sure and will also follow a quick drop off to $32k which will act as support this time, instead of any resistance, so, in short, yes, Bitcoin is going to hold the Target prices and soon it will be breaking the previous All-Time High, right after Bitcoin Halving in 2024. If you have money available, you should focus on buying Bitcoin and HODLing as these prices will never be available again in the future.
We are not far from achieving that price benchmark for Bitcoin in this season and that for sure will come out at some point before the end of this year 2023 $40k price is not far from the present Bitcoin base price and on several note,  Bitcoin have made attempts to cross $38k price and if that happens at any point.

The next target after that becomes $40,000 which is just a 3% price increase from the present position.

The price increase used to happen good during the end months. Maybe the year end growth could push the market harder and help in reaching $40k at the earliest. For now the market is moving around $35k-$36k which we can expect to have hard push by the ongoing month end. During the vacation normally the price used to increase. Same time there is little expectation on the altcoins season, if that happens we'll experience the price reaching $40k getting delayed.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I've learned so far as a gambler on: November 17, 2023, 11:14:29 PM
From my gambling experience myself also have the same thought, person who knows when to stop could be on the safer side. Whether we're on the losing streak or winning side, we should have the limits set and stop our activity. Looking for better win could further lead to loss. Sometimes continued loss and looking for recovery of what we have lost end up our fund in much short time than getting prolonged. As a gambler we shouldn't be confident with our gambling activity, here success is upon when to stop.
168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Whatever happens, hold on to your Bitcoin. on: November 16, 2023, 11:48:38 PM
In the past we used to see the term hold quite common in the forum. Now things have changed a little as people's preference have moved from holding to increase the number of income stream. Rather than waiting for much longer time period, people prefer to use it into trading and other activities to make the holding more effective as the volume increases. As discussed in the previous post, emergency fund is a necessary one. If we're prepared enough to meet unexpected moments of life with the emergency fund, then there is no risk in holding. The best way is to hold and profit, maybe the timeline is big but the risk is low.
169  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should I go with Bitcoin or Altcoins for the upcoming bull run cycle? on: November 16, 2023, 10:36:19 PM
Investing in altcoins is not a wise option when we talk about an asset. They are not an asset except a few coins; most of them are just garbage. You can only get profit from altcoins if you are lucky. Mostly people lose their investments in altcoins because of scams. Altcoins are just a waste of time and money.
Bitcoin is the best option to invest. Invest now and exit at the ATH/ set price target. After the BTC bull run, if you are still interested in making some bucks, invest in potential altcoins such as ETH, SOL, etc., because after the BTC bull run, there will surely be an altcoin season.
Altcoins only add to the high risk of losing when we are investing that's why we should learn to avoid them as much as possible most especially those new too good to be true projects that suddenly arise in the market. Instead, stick to bitcoin for better and positive results especially if you are still in the process of building your wealth in your investment portfolio.

However, that does not mean that you will not invest in altcoins anymore in your whole life. Of course, you also need to explore the world of altcoins but make sure to do it when you are already an experienced investor so that you will come to invest wisely and cautiously.
Investing on altcoins should be made based on the market scenario. We should not directly jump into it, but when there is better opportunity we should try to make something out of it. This is how our altcoin investment needs to be. There is positive news on altcoins for the upcoming weeks in connection with the BlackRock filing an application for spot Ethereum ETF. SEC had published the registration and if something good happens we can see the bounce in the major altcoins. This could boost the altcoins dominance for some time period. There are altcoins better in position and we should have the better understanding in making use of the altcoins at the right time.
170  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Start with the little you have, you don't need millions of dollars to own BTC. on: November 16, 2023, 10:24:47 PM
First of all people need to have clarity on what is bitcoin and how it is gaining value when the fiat keeps falling. Most of the people without proper understanding start to invest and gets caught into traps. Saw a post about a lady who is been said the minimum investment is $4000. People who had heard about the tremendous growth might tend to invest and if the market isn't in their favour they end up losing. Before getting into bitcoin, basic learning is must and the same is possible through investing on small amount and further going to higher investment. As said it have got the 8th decimal divisible and we should start at the earliest to experience the best of it.
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Quit gambling and Invest in gambling. on: November 16, 2023, 12:04:31 AM
Just for our goodness we should not make a person into danger situation. Investing on a gambling platform is good, there are few gambling platforms providing access to invest and provide with regular return. What OP does is not the right way of investing. Already a person is on his loss and by the time if he's been funded surely he'll go further. If he wins then the payment will be returned to OP, if not he keeps adding interest till he pays it back. This could make the gambler into more addictive and into bigger debts.

174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs the government on: October 13, 2023, 10:44:25 PM
The thing is, every coin has two sides. That being said, there will always be people supporting Bitcoin and there will also be people hating Bitcoin. And Bitcoin is not the perfect solution how much you try to make it. The way you use traditional money/cash money, you can't do that with Bitcoin. You need a smart device, you'll need internet connection, and you will need the knowledge how to use it. Not everyone in this world knows how to use smartphone yet. Some people don't even know that internet exists.

It is true that the government wants to take control of every civilian. But those who know about Bitcoin will move towards Bitcoin and those who have no idea about it or aren't able to use it will stick to the traditional transactions. In a sense you can't actually beat the government. And as a citizen you will have to stick to the traditional method if the government has any rules against using Bitcoin. So why make it complicated? If you can use both then take advantage of both of them. And if it's the time for Bitcoin to shine, it will shine. Meanwhile enjoy what you have.
As two sides we can say pros and cons. Something that we see as good for the common people used to be bad for the government. This means government wants control over the people, whereas bitcoin gives the freedom. As things go advanced, automatically government try the technological way of having control over the citizens. When government wasn't able to have control, it always tries to portray bad image for bitcoin and starts working on an alternate. This is what happening with majority of the governments that doesn't understand the real purpose of bitcoin and wants CBDC.
175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Invest only in Bitcoin and never invest in shitcoin on: October 05, 2023, 10:57:43 PM

Bitcoin is therefore a good option for long-term investment while altcoins are short term.

Of course, there is no risk in investing in Bitcoin because after investing in Bitcoin, you can hold it for a long time if you want to. On the other hand, if you invest in Altcoins, you must be careful in holding for a long time because these coins can disappear from the market at any time or be delisted by the exchange without any announcement. This may subsequently render your Shitcoin holdings worthless. So if investment is to be made then investing in Bitcoin must be wise.
An investment needs to be done in a wise way, if not what we do doesn't gonna bring back profit. As suggested bitcoin used to be the right choice of investment as it can be kept hold for any longer time period. With altcoins we need to be very careful as this could go out of the market anytime. Even the trusted list of altcoins used to disappointment the investors, one amongst in recent days is the FTX. Altcoins have got the ability to provide better profit, but the risks were really high. If not one needs to be lucky enough to make good profit investing on shitcoins. This is very rare to happen, because it is really hard to invest on an altcoin that gives unexpected growth and have got good liquidity. With shitcoins we should limit the spending, so that you can keep the portfolio undisturbed in every market situation.
176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Stop discouraging people from Bitcoin... on: October 04, 2023, 11:31:36 PM
I've never seen users discouraging trading is for newbies. Whenever there arises question on newbies involvement into trading, most of the suggestions will be on the risks associated with it. Newbies just get into trading without knowledge and end up losing. Understanding and getting into trading activities will ease them make good profit out of the fluctuation happening with time.

Apart from this, there'll be suggestion to start from smaller amount. This means the risk will be low and it gives the better experience than just learning from someone's experience. Investing little by little will keep things better than just going for big risk.
177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is not going to $12k. on: September 25, 2023, 05:43:49 PM
Couple of months ago I believed Bitcoin could hit somewhere around 10k dollars so I told myself to wait some more months and even years to experience it. I was planning to maximize my gains.. But I was proven wrong for sure. I quickly realized people who are saying Bitcoin can hit under 10-15k are too naive. In totally normal circumstances Bitcoin will have so much demand at those points it will quickly go above 20k maybe even 25k.
This is the prediction from majority of the bitcoin hodlers. When the price kept falling all of the sudden from the range of around $23k. During the start of the year 2023 the price of bitcoin was around $16700. Over time they safe guarded themselves as the price didn't move downwards. There is good recovery as the market bounced to cross $20k on the same day. During the start of the year $10k - $12k is the prediction and everything happened in a better way than predicted.
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never gamble in front of your kids. on: September 25, 2023, 05:18:26 PM
Gambling infront of kids need to be avoided for various reasons. The major reason, kids will follow what the parents do. Kids will try to use it when they get an opportunity. Another thing, kids might get hatred over the parents as they don't spend time with kids. This is very rare to take place with kids, some parents gamble and when lost they show the anger over the kids. This could happen and the kids don't know the reason behind the anger. This unwanted anger could also affect the kids mentality and love towards the parents.
179  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a boom again? on: September 25, 2023, 01:27:01 PM
The crypto market is generally volatile even if the value of the currency goes down it is certain that it will go up again after a while just wait for a long time. Bitcoin is undoubtedly the most popular crypto currency in the crypto market but many more such coins are in circulation. Bitcoin's closest competitors include Ethereum, Tether, Binance Coin. This competition in cryptocurrencies is good for investors it cannot skyrocket in value. But in the case of bitcoin it has become so popular that it has an opportunity to stay ahead of rival currencies. Rival currencies rise in price depending on the value of bitcoin but along with bitcoin its currencies are good for investment.
By its development bitcoin is volatile. The same is being loved by majority of the people. Whenever there is fall in price, it gets followed by bullish market. So, all that required to stay strong and profit is through holding with patience. We were able to see stabilized move in the market for a long term within specific price range. We can't specify those mentioned as closely competing ones considering the market of bitcoin. These are networks that follow the market trend of bitcoin. When bitcoin turns bullish, the same can be experienced with these mentioned altcoins. These days the expectation on bitcoin is high connective to the upcoming halving. Considering the same it is good to invest the excess fund into bitcoin than the daily life fund.
180  Economy / Economics / Re: How to spend money determines whether you can avoid unnecessary problems on: September 25, 2023, 11:23:17 AM
We must understand that we may want to live a decent life and have all our needs met but on the other hand we must realise that we cannot try to exceed the income we get by spending more because this will make you always feel inadequate.
We must think of good management in this case because basically the income we have from salary can be sufficient even more than our needs but our desire for something more is what makes our income feel small because it is not comparable to the expenses we make.

Is it the fault of the economic system and inflation? it may be one of the acceptable reasons but in the end we also have to reflect on ourselves whether we can manage our finances well or not.

We should choose our standard of living based on our wages. Human needs and demands have no limits. The more he gets, the more he wants, so we should be realistic and pre-defined in our minds. That is my goal. If I get this, it will be enough for me. If we chase our desire and try to fulfill it with whatever wages we get, it will always be inadequate. Some people manage their families monthly expenses with an amount that can be someone's daily expenses.
I don't think it's wise to have that kind of thinking, I mean when you say we should choose our standard of living based on our wages or income. Indeed, I will not deny that when a person's income is large, the greater the costs they spend on living needs, I don't know exactly why this happens, but what I see is always displayed as I said.
For me, when we have a higher income than most people every month, it is an opportunity for us to prepare for the future. We don't know how long we will have a high income, and preparing for the future is the best option compared to raising the standard of living.
Agreed with the thought of preparing ourselves for the better future than raising the standard of living. Not everyone follow this, because when a person have a transition to a better position he/she will try to keep themselves along with the trend. In simple words a person who prefer using low brand dresses and accessories will move for a better brand. There won't be much changes, but small changes here and there on a combined valuation looks big against the wage. This depends between the people and the better part is to concentrate on maximizing savings/investment and limit the spending.
