161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcoin Casino - Players favorite 2017 on: January 05, 2017, 06:00:36 AM
I believe that something else that is very important when deciding to join a bitcoin casino is their reputation. Reputation is important so that users know the casino isn't going to scam them.

Did the owners ever run a website before? Are they using an API? (for example, MoneyPot) Do they communicate well with users on this forum and on other platforms? Have they ever done any giveaways?
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel shameful for being a gambler? on: January 05, 2017, 05:46:16 AM
No, I don't, but perhaps that is because I gamble for fun.

I believe that people are ashamed of gambling when they develop a problem or addiction, because they are seen as weak willed and stupid. I think that if you feel ashamed of gambling, you might have a problem and might have to seek help if necessary.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is SatoshiDice a Trusted Casino? on: January 05, 2017, 03:26:46 AM
I believe you should be fine with SatoshiDice, however I agree with the person above me. Perhaps wait a few days so that they are fully operational again before playing there.

While you wait, there are many other dice sites you can try, like PrimeDice, or Rollin.io. Good luck!
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Are Your Favorite eSports To Bet On? And Why? on: January 05, 2017, 03:23:20 AM
I'd say CS:GO, because it's fun to play, and in a competitive match, it's easy to learn and follow what's happening. Even for someone who's never played, CS:GO is still very entertaining to watch, and easy to follow.

I used to bet on Dota2 in the past (item betting, not bookie bets), but since Valve is no longer supporting gambling, all sites I used to bet my items on are now closed.
Time to switch to real money betting I guess. The game I wanted to bet on is  Smite, but I rarely see any site where this game is included, it is always CsGo, Dota and LoL.

Why not use bitcoin to bet? Bitcoin is easy to use, and there are many well known gambling sites out there.

As for Smite, try https://lp.betway.com/esports_5free. However, I can't vouch for them, as I haven't played there.
165  Economy / Services / Re: [Banner Contest] Banner Design, reward 0.03 btc on: January 04, 2017, 05:11:01 AM
May I know if you are the owner of this faucet right from the beginning or you are just announcing the contest on behalf of someone?

I think that he is the owner, due to wording in his post, and his post history:

I'm looking for new banner design for our website.

Also OP, like devthedev said, there might be more interest if you put the funds in escrow. The fees are low and generally will attract a lot more participants.
166  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your biggest bitcoin regrets? on: January 04, 2017, 05:06:27 AM
Now I know my greatest regrets. I always spend a bitcoin I get the results of my hard work for something that is not necessary. and now, the price is really high bitcoin, and bitcoin I do not have so much to make things on my side. perhaps this is a very good lesson, that saving with bitcoin it can be profitable in the future.

Yeah nowadays usually we feel that we have done a mistake by not holding bitcoin more over the price of bitcoin is 1042 now (as i see in my blockchain wallet)

I'm debating with myself, I'm wondering if I should buy some bitcoins, wait for it to go up over the current price, and then sell for a profit. However, I'm not sure if the price will go back down, so I'm a bit undecided with my decisions here. I don't want to buy some bitcoins then watch the price go down, but at the same time, I might regret it if the price goes to the moon.
167  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beta Bitcoin Casino on: January 04, 2017, 05:00:35 AM
Nice site, if it's your site, I'd suggest moving it to the gambling section and creating a proper announcement thread.

There are some bugs, when I open the homepage, nothing shows up, and you can't register if you accidentally forget to tick the little box accepting the terms. If you can get these fixed, you might be able to attract more users.
168  Economy / Services / Re: Searching Reliable Bitcoin Escrow on: January 04, 2017, 04:56:41 AM
OP, you'll have to elaborate on your question if you want specific help. What are you trying to sell?

Escrow sites are more risky, as there aren't many well known sites around here. A google search brought up https://escrowmybits.com, however I cannot vouch for them.

I'd recommend a bitcointalk escrow, someone else posted a full list of them.

Out of the list, I'd recommend PsychoticBoy as he escrowed a trade for me with no problems, but look over them and see which one you think will be the best.
169  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino site player vs player on: January 04, 2017, 04:52:45 AM
monepoy v2 is about to launch they will offer many games including player to player come check it out.

Where did you see this, can you please elaborate? Moneypot is a gambling wallet, not a gambling site. Is a site using their platform releasing a new game? As far as I know, their main thread has been locked and they are making a new, cleaner thread for the New Year's.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How was your luck in 2016.? on: January 04, 2017, 04:51:05 AM
I calculated and I was also in loss for 2016, around 0.05. I'd say it's a decent amount for the end of the year, as it was for entertainment. I try to gamble for fun, so that even if I lose, it doesn't really matter.
171  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is anyone able to login to PocketDice.io? on: January 04, 2017, 04:38:25 AM
It's not just you, PocketDice.io is down for everyone. I tried going to the site and it doesn't even load for me. According to http://isitdownrightnow.com, it is down for everybody, so it's not just us. Check the official announcement thread for updates.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency [ICO Live] on: January 04, 2017, 04:34:47 AM
I think that after the number 9 the ICO will be extended  Grin Cheesy Grin

I doubt it, unless a good reason is provided. While Bitconnect still has to provide an update on some things, I believe that they are trying to establish themselves as a respectable business. On the contrary, if something unusual happens after the 9th, we will need a concrete explanation. I do hope bitconnect will continue doing well, we'll have to wait and see what happens.
173  Economy / Auctions / Re: Amazon.com account with 2 dollars gift card balance on: January 04, 2017, 03:03:57 AM
I'll start off bidding at 0.0005.

One question, I assume that music can't be bought with this? Also, will the dummy email account be included in this auction?

It's been 24 hours after my bid, I assume I win as no one has bidded after me? Let me know about this and the answers to my questions when you get online.
174  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BiPolarBob wannabee - $100 Amazon.com gift code - $15 - LEGIT. on: January 04, 2017, 02:57:28 AM
hey so.

i got a code and sold it on Paxful and got smoemoney but the person messaged me a bit ago saying it stopped working so these are prob carded. had to refund the guy,

down $20

oh well

Ouch, that definitely hurts, but thanks for going first and testing it out for everyone else. Maybe give the OP one more chance and send him a PM asking him for a refund/replacement?

176  Economy / Digital goods / Re: {2017} WTB AMAZON CARDS WITH RECEIPT (60%-80%) on: January 02, 2017, 11:52:45 PM
I can sell you a few amazon gift cards cards for 90% but I'm not sure if that is low enough, let me know if you are interested anyways.
OP clearly stated in his thread that you will have to send the GC first, I hope your comfortable with that  Grin and I would advise all other newbies not to deal with the OP without an escrow involved  Grin

I don't see any mention of the OP wanting us to send first, the way I interpreted it was that he was going to send the bitcoin after photos were sent. ("Release within 10 minutes after you send photos")

If OP really wants me to send first I will not send first.

178  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Bustabit /Csgo crash source code on: January 02, 2017, 10:06:41 PM
Why are you selling this? The source code is open source and completely free.

Have you made any huge modifications to this script that the original doesn't have?
The source code is open source? Where'd you find this? Could you link it for me or pm, haven't found anything like this yet.

Sure, here it is: https://github.com/moneypot/

The owner, RHavar released it under the terms of the AGPLv3, which means anyone can make a clone provided they keep all modifications under the same license.
