161  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gender equality on: January 20, 2018, 03:56:57 AM
Do you think that men and woman are treated equally in society?
if not , what are the ways you suggest to promote equality among society ?
Man and woman was created by God equally. Gone are the days were men goes to work and women are left at home to attend to all house chores. Society has allowed women to do jobs that are intended for men only thus women and men now are treated equally.
162  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you have a gun? on: January 19, 2018, 03:44:59 AM
This question mostly goes to americans (or  residents of any other country where it is legal).
Do you have any firearms? For what purpose do you have it and  have you ever used it?
Everyone else can discuss if people should have a right to have a gun or not.
I think having or owning a gun is only legal if you have a license to own one. For me, i see no wrong in having a gun because it is every ones right to protect him/herself from harm and danger caused by other individuals.

So Bitcoin is better than Gold? Roll Eyes
I dont think bitcoin is better than gold. There are a thousand and 1 way to use gold other than just being a store of value. Bitcoin is more convenient to carry though.
164  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there any good news about Bitcoin from your country? on: January 17, 2018, 05:06:18 AM
how popular is bitcoin in your country? in our country ,more and more people invest in Bitcoin now . Is there any good news about Bitcoin from your country?

https://www.aicoin.com/chart/31D70E6A

BTC:
BTC is hovering around $10,000, whether price bounces back or not will determine BTC will continue the uptrend or start a downside move with a major correction. The closing price from tonight to tomorrow morning is very important, if price remains above $10,500, we can hold on to our positions, if not, then reducing our positions is the best way to avoid risks. 5-Day MA strategy still applies to current situation.

BCH:
It’s normal for price to bounce back to $1,300 after breaking below $1,520 and price will find support at $1,300. But it seemed unnormal for BCH price to go against BTC price this time as the major adjustment lowered altcoins and major coins prices, indicating the change in funds and signs of retreat.

LTC, ETC & ETH:

Basically, all of them shared a same price action which was extremely weak after a slump in price with increased volumes. Moreover, they all broke below the support at 5-Day MA and showed no signs of fighting again the downtrend. ETC, however, seems to be the strongest and should be your priority when price bounces back. Reducing your positions should be your main strategy for now.

Altcoins:
Dash seemed the only one experiencing an increase in price among altcoins, price is under a pretty strong control and holds the possibility to go wild. 5-Day MA strategy is still recommended for further operations and stop-losing level must be strictly set.

Our country not banning bitcoin is already a good news. A lot of people are getting interested with it and in our community alone, young and old alike are now joining signature campaigns and bounty hunts because they believe that it would help them financially.
165  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why Do People Desire What's Not Theirs on: January 17, 2018, 05:03:39 AM
I don't mean just seeing something nice and wanting to have something like that. Some people would not mind doing anything to take what belongs to another. Why do we have people like that?
I think that it is a natural characteristic of a lot of humans to desire something that they see nice and something that they dont have. The good thing is sometimes, it motivates a person to work hard for them to acquire what they desire but it goes bad if they think of bad things just to acquire it.
166  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will Pres. Duterte complete his term? on: January 16, 2018, 04:12:52 AM
The President of the Philippines has been opposed by most of the big time officials in the country. Can he surpass all the Big Fish in the Philippines and survive the six years term?
With the majority of the House of Representatives and the Senate (not to mention the 16 million supporters) backing him up, no issues and scandals that can kick Pres. Duterte out of the Malacanan Palace. He is a good president and hope and believe that he will finish his 6 year term.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Investing money on bitcoin..! on: January 16, 2018, 04:03:26 AM
Nowadays many people are starting to invest money on bitcoin or the buy bitcoin..is this a good approach?
How this will influence us in future?
I am beginning to sound like an old music being played over and aver again. Same thread new approach. I think nobody in this forum would say that it is no good to invest in bitcoin because it is not. Bitcoin is growing and potential profit is good and it will influence us to go big time in the near future because, again, it is very much profitable.
168  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you agree in death penalty? on: January 15, 2018, 04:46:02 AM
I believe that we just borrow our lives from God. And He is the only one who have right to take them away from us.
Death penalty will not solve any crime but i believe it would instill fear in the minds of perpetrators. I agree with death penalty but only on handful of heinous crimes like rape, rape with murder and murder.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: January 14, 2018, 04:27:27 AM
why is it ok for a group of people calling themselves the government to force everyone to buy their services?
if enough armed people refused to pay and told the government to go fuck itself there is nothing they could do.
Government collects taxes because it is here where they get their budget that they will allocate for different government projects (infrastructure like bridges, roads etc.). It is here where government employees salaries are taken and a portion of it is used to finance the education of a lot of students.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Is an economy without physical money safe for the poorest? on: January 13, 2018, 04:03:39 AM
Imagine the situation in which we don't have any physical money and every currency is digitalized. The US dollar is now a token, the Japanese Yen is only in the network and the British pound is a fast-moving digital coin. What are the consequences of such an economy for the poorest of the population? Do you think that a few people can influence the digital wealth of people and wouldn't hackers be the best people to have as friends?
No i dont think so, the poorest of the poor would be left behind. Many things to consider, the means to transact with cryptos (gadgets, internet provider etc) will be very hard for them since they can not simply afford it. Fees from transactions will be collected, imagine if they will buy a kilo of rice, maybe the fee will be much higher than the price of the commodity.
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a currency or asset? on: January 13, 2018, 03:54:55 AM
Bitcoin’s very volatile prices have reignited the debate about its usefulness as a currency or as an asset. In some ways, Bitcoin suits the definition of currency quite adequately but if the volatility is less. It allows for the creation of secure and transparent transactions. Thus, can be used as a secondary currency in future. Some of the experts have huge concerns over its volatility. But, sooner or later the prices may remain less volatile as of today.

I have mentioned few points about Bitcoin as a currency or as an asset in my article here: https://atozforex.com/news/is-bitcoin-a-currency-or-asset/

What's your opinion about BTC as a currency or an asset?

Suggestions and comments appreciated  Smiley Wink
I think bitcoin can be both. Bitcoin can be used as a means of payment to person/s or institutions that accept bitcoin. Since it has a value then it can also be an asset, an intangible asset.
172  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Why do you believe God exists? on: January 12, 2018, 04:09:23 AM
I'm a Scientist, have been for most of my life. I have NEVER believed in a supreme being, despite going to Catholic schools my entire life.

I'd like to know.... What is it that compels you to believe in God? How can you argue for his existence? Please bare the following in mind when you answer;

1. There are literally thousands of religions, each of which has members that believe just as firmly as you do, they say they feel a personal connection with God, they have their own religious books and doctrines etc, if you were born in Saudi Arabia, you would be a muslim, in Ireland you would be a protestant, seems like the place you are born denotes your religion, rather than divine intervention. Obviously you can't all be right, so how do you know YOU are.

2. Most religions state that God is all-powerful, all-knowing, all-loving, all-present and eternal. If this is the case, why are people punished for sins by an all loving God, who predestined them to commit their sins by knowing the future? Why is there bone cancer in Children, and insects that burrow into the eyes of infants making them blind, could an all loving God not have imagined a reality without this? And why is there such overwhelming evidence AGAINST the existence of a creator?

3. Since the scientific era God has slowly receded into the shadows, God used to be held responsible for most things, e.g. people offered sacrifices for good health, prayed for rain, thought that God pulled the sun across the sky, created plagues etc. Now we know he does none of these, and God has been reduced to a "God of the gaps" whereby he is still attributed to things we cannot yet explain with science, doesn't seem very powerful anymore.

I'll try to respond to the major points in this thread attempting to dismantle them.
I am a believer that God do exist and i dont need science to explain His existence. Science only explains what it can grasp upon and God is not a physical being.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin contribution to world economy on: January 12, 2018, 04:05:38 AM
How do you think bitcoin will affect the world economy by 2028?

How do you think bitcoin will affect the world economy by 2028?
Nobody would really know if bitcoin would still be bitcoin by the year 2028. All i know is that anybody who will succeed and becomes rich with bitcoin would have the capacity to increase their expenditures and it would mean an indirect boost in their own economy.
174  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Impact of drinking alcohol. on: January 11, 2018, 04:51:27 AM
Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?
Any excess intake of anything is harmful to the body including alcohol. But there are some benefits of drinking alcohol if we drink moderately. It can lower the risk of heart attack and lower the risk of having diabetes are some benefits we can obtain by drinking alcohol moderately.

176  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we really need Bitcoin? on: January 11, 2018, 04:42:45 AM
Recently, more and more I have been interested in the question of why Bitcoin was created. Who created it and for what purposes. After all, clearly there are people who control bitokoyn, well, that is - own a very significant amount Bitkoyn. Maybe it's just a new currency to replace the dollar only in electronic form. Until now, nothing is known about the creators of Bitokin. Why we need crypto-currencies, if on the idea you can use the same transfers of money cherz different banks. What happens if bitcoin collapses? Do not judge me strictly, it's just that these thoughts have visited me more and more often lately.
It is not a daily necessity that we say we really need bitcoin. Bitcoin is a good way of investment because profitability is good but it is not right to say that we really need it.
177  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Would you eat a human? on: January 10, 2018, 03:28:13 AM
What if it was the sacrificed child of your enemy? What if it gave you secret powers? What if it held the key to world domination? Would you do it? Would you eat another person?
Though i strive to become successful with bitcoin one day, there is no reason or any circumstances that i would eat a human flesh. The idea alone makes me sick.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Too late to invest in cryptos if you're old? on: January 09, 2018, 03:34:35 AM
What would you guys advise someone who is retired, living off pension and savings? Is it too late/risky to invest at that kind of age?
Do you guys think the elderly have a chance of jumping on the crypto train, or do you guys think it's too late for them to invest?

Is there ever a rule in the crypto world that elderlies are prohibited from joining and/or investing in it? there is none. Anybody who has the capacity can join and it is never too late to join.
179  Economy / Economics / Re: lest we forget, Bitcoin is a blessing. on: January 08, 2018, 04:33:37 AM
Bitcoin has pass through many stage, limitations, attack and forks issue but its price keep on increasing from inception till now. At this time Last year bitcoin price was $450 but today it is $1245 that was over 180% increment in just a year. This is what we call blessing, that is making progress in the face of strong opposition!!
Everybody who engages in bitcoin (specially the ones who are into signature campaigns) are gaining extra income and profit from it and this reason alone can we say that it is a blessing.
180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc good experience for young people on: January 08, 2018, 04:27:49 AM
Hey, I'm not old but I'm closer to old than young. I was fortunate to get into the stock market early and even a couple ipo's which led me into real estate etc. so now I'm in crypto, follow it, read it still trying to figure it out. Anyway, although everyone is now talking Bitcoin I think this story has sent a message about saving and investing to younger people. I don't think speculation is a good lesson but the ability to do more with ur money than spend it or gain no interest in a bank account is a good thing and I only learned it by listening to others as I was making my way.

I don't think btc is the answer to everything and it could even crash, that would also be a lesson, but the US population in general does not save a lot of money, perhaps this new development could help change that.
Agree that it is a good experience because it would broaden ones knowledge with trading and investing and its not about all the knowledge and experience also consider the cash or profit they will gain from it.
