161  Economy / Economics / Re: Things to avoid when you earn a lot or become rich on: June 11, 2024, 08:44:42 AM
Most people who normally post there success on the social media always fail to realize the risk it will bring to there life because on a normal they will feel that they are actually helping or motivating people on the things he go through before arriving were he is and there is nothing wrong with it but in other words he is actually telling people how wealthy and rich he is and possibly he could endanger himself by doing that, though is mostly common for those people who started with nothing and become rich later.
I don't want to cut their fun when they are happily sharing their success on social media. That's what success means to them and they want to bring it out to people so that they will be recognized.

But I tell you what, real successful people, they won't be the one to proclaim that they are successful.

Instead, people who are seeing their riches and successes are the ones that will speak for them.
162  Other / Off-topic / Re: I Went in London and i complain now not seen cars on: June 10, 2024, 11:59:03 PM
I haven't been to London yet but if you are for supercars then Dubai is your place to go. Or if that's the main concern of your visits then just go with car shows.

There are places that you won't see people having extravagant cars or they just don't wanna use them at the time that you've visited it.

Maybe the timing is, but then, just get to Dubai and you'd see these cars as if they're normal and people's daily drives.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is gambling bad to the society? on: June 10, 2024, 11:23:55 PM
Family comes first and they support an individual with everything they have. Gambling have caused great harm to people who indulge in gambling. It's never a solid move to gamble because there's evidence of heavy losses which will never be recoverable, rather its pin on reducing the bank account of gamblers and making them irresponsible in the society with absolutely nothing to offer.
We have to balance into this matter.

There are a lot of people that have been working in the gambling industry and that means that they do good in the society.

And there are gambling professionals, the ones that are living full time with gambling that have made a lot for themselves and family. But it's true that there are also a lot of lives that have been wrecked due to their condition and emotionally, they cannot control themselves.

THat's why, there are good contributions but on an individual perspective, you'd see the bad one.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 10, 2024, 10:57:50 PM
The crazy thing is that the Mavericks are the favorites to win game 3… In not sure home court advantage can make up for the shortcomings we’ve been witnessing.
The Celtics are deaf with the crowd noise but homecourt advantage is still an advantage for any team that they're playing at their own home.

I've seen a survey that most of the states in the US except one are in wanting to see the Dallas Mavericks win the ring this season. But let's see if that will matter.

I am starting to see fans tell that Celtics @ 4.
165  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: crypto is actually the future on: June 10, 2024, 10:36:07 PM
Apart from being backed by historical data, the transparency and immutability of crypto provide a solid foundation for analysis that isn't necessarily available in traditional markets. When a large amount is moved, it's most known to the public. And this makes it easy for traders to predict the market direction most time..
That's one concern that many traders are looking for but for long-term holders, it does not move that much.

Someone who moves a lot of money from a sleeping wallet that has seen no activity for years and suddenly moves its balance to exchanges.

That creates fear and panic for most of them and that becomes a sign for everybody to see that there could be a dump that might happen anytime soon.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting a business without capital. on: June 10, 2024, 04:52:15 PM
You are able to keep going your venture as long as you develop an effective strategy and prepare for any obstacles that might come up along the way. Yes, anything can be accomplished if you work hard, but you must be ready for that obstacles before you can feel like you are earning and turning into successful. In every business or activity in life, you may encounter difficulties; these difficulties are part of the learning process and will aid you on your journey to success, so strive hard.
Hard work isn't enough for this. Starting a business without money isn't just going to require you hard work but also smart work.

Most of the rich people are just smart with what they've gone through but when it's come to spending habits, you bet that not all of them are smart.

That's what have been seen with some of the rich businessmen that have come from nowhere but even with that attitude because of how they are with their business, it's unlikely that they'd go back to the former life when they've started.
167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The best crypto day trading platform on: June 10, 2024, 02:02:46 PM
Centralized platforms are the ones preferred by most day traders and even casual traders because of the liquidity that they have.

While for the decentralized exchanges, they're likely the place to spot some emerging coins that might have a lot of potential on this bull run.

But you have to bear with some issues sometimes with the fees because of possible clogging of network that affects fees.
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: Add This To Your Research on: June 10, 2024, 11:09:10 AM
The common scam schemes should be noticed asap. If you're a newbie, you'll have the curiosity to think "if it's possible to earn easily".

By having that, you might be able to see the red flags of these scams, websites and projects that do possess that kind.

If you're going to be curious as a newbie, your researchful mind will tend to find out if a website or a project is a scam.,
169  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Artificial Intelligence Take Over Bitcoin? on: June 10, 2024, 08:06:23 AM
AI? AI projects? or AI alone.

To be honest, I've seen people talk about super/quantum computers that will take over Bitcoin and will be able to decipher the network. But where are they? maybe possible in the far future.

As long as we're living, it's always technology advances and innovation that works together of what's suitable for it. With all the concepts that AI is doing to help productivity of almost everything that it can work it, as for BTC then let's see what it can do for it.
170  Economy / Economics / Re: Better Money: Gold, Fiat, Or Bitcoin? on: June 09, 2024, 09:49:04 PM
While the volatility that gold gets isn't that much and it's the preferred investment of many traditional investors. The risk that Bitcoin has is certainly worth it to take.

But we're not the same kind of investors and I agree that if an investor has to go with the safe route of investing then gold is the choice that they need to have.
That is because traditional investor doesn't know what they are doing, and that's an important part of the question as well. I think gold is not a bad investment by the way, I think it's a quite good one, I am just saying that we are not going to end up seeing anything marginal with it, it's quite normal and nothing shocking.

I don't think that they don't what they are doing, actually they know what they are doing.

Gold is a good one and it has been there for so long but even with that, I don't have it and chose to invest more in BTC because I know it more and I am more familiar with it.

I believe that the best thing we could do right now would be just focusing on how bitcoin is far superior if the intention is to make money, and there are a lot of people who do not realize that. I think because of this, we should be considering how to make money in a better way, we should consider getting that done and probably will do a lot better in the end as well. Gold is great, but bitcoin is simply better.
I agree, we're the same on this and 100%.
171  Other / Off-topic / Re: How did you feel when you made your first forum earnings? on: June 09, 2024, 08:02:15 PM
When it is about money and first time of having it regardless of where it came from but to be specific from the forum.

You'll get the same answers OP, the keyword here is that everyone is here happy during that time including me.  Wink
172  Other / Off-topic / Re: Dream Job or Dream Salary? on: June 09, 2024, 07:04:12 PM
This is a good question and very situational.

If the dream job is near to my home or it's going to be a work from home setup even if the pay is lower compared to my dream salary, I might take it as long as the salary is going to be enough but much better more than enough for our needs.

And as for these dream salaries, to be honest that they're the most desirable nowadays due to economic situation but I can't imagine what kind of responsibility you'll have with that.

I'll choose innerpeace, work-life balance than high salary that has a toxic working environment but if that's toxicity isn't for both choice, that's going to be a tough thing but I'd rather go with convenience.
173  Economy / Economics / Re: Let's use the cryptocurrencies and blockchain techology for good idea on: June 09, 2024, 08:48:10 AM
What is good with what you have said is about using your profit investing to real world projects.

And with that, one of it is real estate. I have no idea how others are diversifying with their crypto profits.

But it is one ideal where you should pour your crypto profits whether it is from memes or not.
174  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: New to crypto trading - Is now the time to get in? on: June 09, 2024, 07:40:06 AM
Jesus, quite strong situation that we are seeing it, and I believe that waiting six years to reply back to everyone is definitely a big deal. I think 2018 could have been a great year to get in as well, everything went low and that means we get to see the prices get higher and higher, that's an important situation. I get that it may not feel like a good enough situation, we should realize that it is going to take a while, but as long as we get to do whatever we want to do, it should not be all that complicated.

I believe that we are going to get something out of this, we just need to realize that if we wait like OP then we will make a profit, like for example 2022 was a great time to get in as well, would have made us a lot of money.
If there is a best time to get in, it is either do it now or wait until 2026.

That is based on the history on the market and the 4 year cycle. Many newbies still think that they will see a dip for this season.

There will be some corrections but it wont be as big as any dip that they might have been thinking.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it still possible to retire early? on: June 08, 2024, 10:09:54 PM
Early retirement is a personal decision and this decision shouldn't be questioned, a person may decide to retire when he is satisfied with his level of achievement in a short while and deem it necessary to go and get a rest in his home to continue sustaining himself with his savings or earnings from the government, to be realistic this can only happen in the developed nation where things are been done rightly as for most African country and some other underdeveloped countries it is almost impossible for this to happen because everyone is eager to get a job so you cant just retire early when you have numerous responsibilities that needs financial attention unless you have a better Job if not you may end up being frustrated, as a matter of clarity this may not exist in africa because of the nature of things their, in the underdeveloped countries workers wish to work until the age to the extent of not being able to walk again because of unorganised economic system of government.
It's hard to do it in developing countries but you know your status whether you're able to do it or not.

The advantage of people retiring early living in developed countries are the massive benefits that they're getting from their government. It is normal for them to have free healthcare, education for their kids and other benefits that they'll get plus the savings and investments that they have.

So with the combination of all of it, they're able to do it without having to worry about the future of themselves and as well as their kids.
176  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: My BtC was stolen on Blockchain.com on: June 08, 2024, 09:23:49 PM
Where were you OP all of this time, it has been moved on 2020 and you have just opened your this time?

I'm sorry with your loss, that's a lot of value right now but there's no way that you can recover it but to warn everybody here that never use that wallet anymore.

I've used it before but stopped eventually.

Maybe the OP got a call from a MITM and gave his phone companies verification code to them, allowing for control of the account to be taken over?
This is possible, I was thinking that he probably might have kept his recovery seed that the hacker has accessed but MITM is also likely, but dating that back 4 years ago, he won't probably remember what his activities were.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: June 08, 2024, 01:42:39 PM
If I have to speculate i'd also say RTZ since he's the only remaining core member in the squad while everyone else has moved on.

RTZ huh. Although there are many pos 1 that is way better than him, we just cant seems to hate this guy do we.
Sometimes we do, sometimes we don't.

His consistency is no longer consistent at all. While during his younger days, going back to a few years ago. He's at his peak but this time, he's not the same anymore.

While he is past of his prime already, he's still got the talent but I think just like any other pos 1 that has became older, they've shifted to other positions like support and offlane.

Maybe he should do.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't you think you should invest in Bitcoin instead of burning your money in fire on: June 08, 2024, 12:23:44 PM
I've got a lot of smoking friends during my highschool and college life. They've never stop doing that but not all of them ended with a bad life.
It’s good that you were not influenced as many people would have been especially during high school days as students. I don’t think smoking directly correlates to havin a bad life but it can definitely affect your life in more ways than you might think. Physically, mentally and financially, you can be affected by smoking or any other addictions.
I don't know, I just don't smoke at all. I tried few sips of it but I don't like that. Maybe it's on the genes or something.

Quote
While that will help them in the future if they use it for investing but with the younger minds today, they won't think about their future as they think about how to have fun at certain age.
All of us were young once. We all know the feeling of wanting to have fun and not caring about anything but I hope kids nowadays stop for a moment and start thinking that there’s more that lies for their future and everything they do now will have consequences.
They won't stop.

They're going to look at the examples which are the old ones and that's us, I'm not that old at all but I mean the mature folks.

They're just copying what they're seeing from the others but I hope that they'd see the better part and that's about investing in BTC.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: June 08, 2024, 10:02:36 AM
Last night the Boston Celtics won the first game and took a 1-0 lead in the series.

I didn't think Dallas would end with such a big difference, I even thought they would win.
Doncic fought alone yesterday, I think, Kyri was bad last night, he couldn't support the team. Players like this are very important in these kinds of games, if you can't get support from them, you always have a high chance of losing.
Most of us thought that they're going to win against the Celtics but no.
In the series, yes, but in game 1, I think most of us think the Celtics will win as they are the heavy favorite to win.
Usually, odds are based on the perception of the bettors, that's why I said most of us believe the Celtics will win, however, it's different from the betting points handicap as Dallas had more bettors on that.
The odds for the Mavs was interesting and that's why I think many have bet for them.

When players are in a bad shape and didn't have a great performance especially their main players, this would end up badly for the team.

I think most teams should really develop each and everyone from the bench, those that they can rely on. Not mostly to the rookies but there are exceptional ones.

They really need some help out there.

It's not that they are in bad shape, it's about the strategy of the game where the Celtics had a better one, but comes game 2, expect a big adjustment as Dallas will now allow they'll loss via blowout again.
I'm sure that they're going to adjust big by game 2.

Sure they will not allow to have a 2 straight loss on a finals game. But that can change, the pulse of most of us are going to change if ever they win by game 2.
180  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Religious leader barred from casinos because of big wins. on: June 08, 2024, 09:12:36 AM
Do you think a religious leader should be involved in gambling?
No.

Do also accept his reason for engaging in gambling?
No.

Are these casinos right to ban him from gambling?
Yes.

The casino's reason about stopping him is normal when they have one customer that keeps on cashing out money from him. But his reason about that it's given to him by his god is unbelievable.

While I know that there are faithful folks but him being an example as a bishop or leader of his religion, he should set himself as an example to his followers.
