161  Local / India / Re: Suggestion! Access Banned International Exchanges with VPNs that Accepts Crypto. on: March 17, 2024, 10:02:32 AM
I don't think anyone here would require VPN. Yesterday, I got a notification from Binance app to upgrade to the new version. When I clicked on update it took me to blank page of my mobile  browser where I was asked by the browser whether I want to download the APK file. I selected yes that led to the download and next installation of the file. After it was done I opened up the Binance app and it was working normal. I did check after everything whether my app was updated or not and it got updated. I think there won't be any issues with other exchange app if we can download the APK file from their website in case the app needs to be updated to the latest version.

Using app on mobile phone is the best way to use binance for the time being. Good that I have the app installed on my phone already.
For people who don't have the mobile app installed, they will just have to access the binance site using VPN and then download the mobile app from their site.
One thing I noticed is, we don't have the option to select India when we try to login using our phone number.
So we have to enter the country +91 manually followed by our phone number to login to binance.
162  Local / India / Re: New ATH | BTCINR | Still a long way to go on: March 17, 2024, 09:55:50 AM
Not the price to buy any bitcoin ? Why do you say do ?
Don't you think any price is a good price to buy some bitcoin because we are still way too early into bitcoin.
10 years down the line we'll be talking into millions per BTC probably and hopefully.
You can realize this now as bitcoin has dropped back to 65k USD and has been corrected by more than 7k USD. With this drop would you think it would have been wise to buy at 73k USD? You would be sustaining the loss of 7k USD already and more upcoming loss.

Hence that was the time to sell and wait and now it is gradually moving to the point where you can start buying again. However the price is still dropping so give it more time before you start.

Alright, from that perspective, yes we can wait a few days/weeks to have a better buying price.
But thinking from a long term perspective, just assuming, after 10 years or so when BTC has reached $1 million dollars, it wouldn't matter if you bought at $73k or $65k.
But yeah, I get your point and yes we can a few days to get a better entry point.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Scratch Offs on: March 17, 2024, 09:51:23 AM
So while we are on the discussion and topic of gambling, I wonder if there has every been a scratch off ticket thread?

I was at the gas station today and I said screw it lets get two $1 scratch of tix because why not.

The first one was a flop, but the second one was a winner! I won one lol Just $1. Whoopty doo lol

So I used that winner ticket to go and buy another ticket, and guess what!? The same thing happened again and I won one lol.

I am going to go back tomorrow and get another one and see what happens and keep you guys posted!

Here is a fun question: What is the most you have ever won off of a scratch off ticket? What brand ticket was it?

The last time I used a scratch card was back when I was a child and there was a small shop nearby my home.
They used to sell these scratch cards which we need to scratch and get the reward right away.
Most of them were flops but I had won in few of the scratch cards.
Though the rewards were not much (mostly 1x and twice I had got 2x), it was fun to scratch those cards.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When is best for a player to draw the line? on: March 17, 2024, 09:46:08 AM
Just for discussions and ways to educate or share knowledge with ourselves when and how to draw the line when gambling,  because for some reasons, some gamblers have arrived at unstable realities because of the lack of stoppage time while gambling so let's talk.
When do you stop?
Some stop gambling immediately the record a big lose, while others continues when they lose with hope of recovering.
Some other gamblers stop playing when the win they first few games, while other continue to chase the loses, and technically ww can tell in accuracy when this things happens, but when is the best time to stop gambling and take a break?

1-when you lose?
2- when you win?

For me it is the both. Whenever I gamble, I usually lose few games and then stop after I have a lost x amount of money.
But when I win on some ocassions then I usually stop when the winning streak is over and I start losing the games.
So just when I lose 3 bets I stop gambling for the day and take whatever profits I end up with.

Exactly, you have a good approach to gambling and it's true that drawing the line at quitting applies in both winning and losing situations, it's a gambling activity which has the possibility of risk that will never stop if you don't stop it yourself, and as you say that when you lose a certain amount then obviously it's best to withdraw as quickly as possible and forget about it all, so I think it's advisable for anyone to limit their budget, for example $5 and when you lose and lose this amount then you should quit.

For myself, I usually gamble with a budget of $5 per session and if I lose then I will consider that the money I have lost is a payment for the game I have played, because this way I can minimize the emotions and feelings of losing money. The bottom line is that win or lose, quitting is still a very important action that all gamblers must have, because this is the only action that can save you from significant bad possibilities such as losing large amounts of money.

Quitting at the right time is a skill which not many have in gambling. We do need patience and self control so that we can quit at the right time.
To be honest, if we don't really have a budget for gambling then we can lose all our holdings.
Gambling can be so addictive that in the process of chasing losses and trying to recover the money lost, we lose all our money.

Yes, ofcourse, I am myself thinking to bet on multiple ranges to cover my capital returns.
To be honest, ETH looks more promising than BTC this time. It is more predictable and having better returns.

Usually, the ETH also dumps when the bitcoin dumps so it really does not make a difference. Here again, 40% of the people are betting on the ETH range $4,001 - $4,250 while at the moment ETH price is around 3600$. I know things can change quickly and we can start with a green Monday, but the point is that it is not easy to bet the price of Bitcoin or Ethereum even with the big ranges  Smiley

If the price of ETH remains under 4000$ and the Bitcoin price under 70,000$, a lot of people will lose these both bets as 40% of the people were anticipating higher bitcoin and Ethereum prices.

That is the major concern for most of the people betting on price prediction.
Just as we speak, ETH price has declined to approx $3500 and might fall within this range by the end of the month.
This changes a lot of things again and people will definitely switch their betting ranges now.
We still have a few days left for analysis and then make a final selection.

It has become really hard to predict BTC price these days because of the large volatility.
Even if we think of a certain price then comes a sudden pump at the end of the week and we lose our bets.
But I guess that's the spirit of betting. I guess $80k - $100k is a good price range for this bet.

The most popular range for this bet is between 70-80K while the second popular is the range between 80 - 100K. I think you can even place the bet on the range between 65-70K and still fancy your chances to win. The bitcoin market is too much volatile that the last minute bitcoin pump or dump can make you lose or win these bitcoin predictions bets.

Another thing to note is that Bitcoin is very volatile on the last day of the month because of the monthly closing and we usually see big moves near or on those dates. So my conclusion is that bitcoin price prediction is just luck based as it is impossible to determine the price of bitcoin beforehand.

Well, 70-80k is a 10k range and 80-100k, a 20k one. It's not really common to see 10k or 20k jumps in few days for BTC, thus those ranges are not so much tight and risky, if you think BTC will reach them by the end of the month. In addition, if it's too risky for your taste, you can still bet on several ranges with such odds. If odds are above 2.00, you will double your stake at least for a bet on this range, so even if you lose the same stake on another range, this winning range will give it back to you.

Yes, ofcourse, I am myself thinking to bet on multiple ranges to cover my capital returns.
To be honest, ETH looks more promising than BTC this time. It is more predictable and having better returns.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH, SOL or other... Who will be the protagonist of this cycle? on: March 16, 2024, 09:47:48 AM
Which assets would you bet on to be the winner of this click (which will rise the most)?

Which memecoins do you think has the potential to stand out among them all? Doge, Floki, pepe and etc?

I will also include AI and gamefy

I personally like ETH because it has been on the 2nd rank since a long time.
But SOL has been doing really good when it comes to pumping in price.
From that perspective, I think SOL will be giving out better returns in this bull cycle.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Let's talk about SOL resilience for recent market correction on: March 16, 2024, 09:26:31 AM
I find it really interesting that recent BTC flash crash (or dip/correction if you rather call it that) that just happened crashed nearly all the altcoins with it, except SOL and JUP (sol based swap). While they dipped as well, it was nothing compared to rest of the market.

It could fall later for sure, but i doubt it will crash as hard because i can't recall seeing anything like this during bullmarket corrections and this could attract other investors that have been overlooked SOL until now.

Reason for this dump was supposedly the fact that someone moved 4637 btc to binance, and even without selling them, it would cause some people start selling.

I would imagine other people have been wondering this too, so what's your theory for SOL? Other then it's a best coin ever or something like that.

Solana has indeed been pumping too hard this time. It was behaving the same way in the last bull run as well.
What I mean is, when coins like bitcoin and ethereum were pumping then Solana was idle.
But when they were being consolidated, Solana was the top most coin pumping too hard.
I have observed the same thing this time and this means that Solana is going to make another ATH very soon.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is really unexpected on: March 15, 2024, 04:56:26 PM
Because of that low minimum amount to bet, I was able to play it and I unexpectedly won by multiplying my deposited money up to 10x even after losing so much in the past month. I was able to buy my dream guitar worth $200, of course, I added a few bucks to buy it. I stopped playing and withdrew the money, I don't want to continue to bet the amount of money I've won.

That's really amazing. Winning some decent amount of money is always pleasurable.
Especially when you really wanted to buy something and you get that money just at the right time then he joy doubles.
So congratulations on your winning and I hope you play some nice music from your new guitar.
171  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: March 15, 2024, 04:47:54 PM
Corrections are necessary and are vitamins for its bull run.

I am not surprised if Bitcoin has a big correction and fall down to about $52,000 to trigger a Long Squeeze before it rises up sharply to trigger a Short Squeeze and the bull run will continue to its discovery phase.

After that, we will see a parabolic phase for Bitcoin. Newbies will join more aggressively in Euphoria phase psychologically.

I really doubt if Bitcoin will be able to reach 52,000$ as it will be a big correction. Since the investors are buying BitcoinBTC for the long term through the ETF so they are not really interested to sell their bitcoins at cheap prices. So in this scenario when the demand is high and there are fewer bitcoins on exchanges, the chances of a big dump in the bitcoin market are very low. We should consider this when making any prediction for the March Bitcoin price at freebitco.

Most people are anticipating the price between 70,000$ to 80,000$ by the end of the match. This is 41% of the bets in this range and this can be seen on freebitco. The current price of Bitcoin is under 70K. There are still 15 more days for March to end but seeing the price under 70K for those who have placed the bet on over 70K, is not a nice figure for them.

It has become really hard to predict BTC price these days because of the large volatility.
Even if we think of a certain price then comes a sudden pump at the end of the week and we lose our bets.
But I guess that's the spirit of betting. I guess $80k - $100k is a good price range for this bet.
172  Local / India / Re: New ATH | BTCINR | Still a long way to go on: March 15, 2024, 04:30:51 PM

1 cr is definitely a big target but still achievable looking at the current pump in bitcoin.
It's approximately $120k in USD which is another $50k from the current price.
Although the gap is huge but the bitcoin ETFs are creating a great demand for bitcoins while we just have a limited supply.
So we never know how high the price could go.

If I am not wrong previous ATH was around 65K USD that means 72K is just a step further but the real deal is yet to come and if we assume the next ATH will be atleast 200% from it's previous ATH that will take the price in InlNR around 1.1Cr approx.

I still don't know why people are interested in ETF when they can buy the actual coins in the exchanges but whatever let's enjoy the roller coaster that will be full of excitement for sure in the upcoming months.

From that perspective, yes, bitcoin might cross 1 cr but that will only happen if bitcoin goes 2x from here.
People are interested in ETFs because many people believe that ETFs are a legal way to hold bitcoin while not caring about the effort to hold it.
Besides that, big companies find it easier to hold ETF than to hold bitcoin directly which is why it has become a major method of BTC accumulation.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 14, 2024, 05:01:56 PM

Addicted gambler is beyond saving and not applicable to this matter. I believe OP is addressing this topic to those regular gambler that is still not addicted since you can self-examine your gambling habit whenever you lose some so that you can develop a strategy or practice to control your gambling or to improve your strategy so that you can’t be tempted to play more when losing.

I’m always doing this naturally whenever I loss since I’m always thinking where did I go wrong for my game turn to lose and most of the time I conclude it’s due to greediness on chasing huge win on a short period of time.

Almost every gambler would be losing money at the end of their games and so thinking of another strategy would be just a waste of time.
At the end, we are bound to lose our money because we cannot win against the casino due to their house edge.
So instead of trying another strategy and playing again and again chasing the losses you should just accept your losses.
That would be a better strateg inorder to not get addicted to gambling.  Grin

Exactly, meaning that no matter how much you think of ways such as looking for a strategy that you think can increase your chances of winning still in the end the results of the session sometimes still more disappointing than what you expected, and as you say here that maybe more precisely it will just waste your time. On the other hand for me honestly I always believe that gambling is always about luck or simply means that you will win when you are really lucky and nothing more than that.

With this mindset I don't have to be busy thinking about various ways such as looking for strategies to win bets, honestly I used to be a gambler like that but in the end I thought that it was an action that would only waste time, and finally I gambled according to my instincts and feelings. One thing that makes me not too serious in gambling because I understand that gambling is completely not a place to earn, so with this kind of thinking I don't have to think of all the ways just to win because if I'm lucky then the victory will come by itself. For me a good and smart strategy is when you are able to manage the money for your gambling allocation which leads to preventive measures so that you don't lose your balance due to the wrong approach to gambling. Wink

I like the playing with the instincts part because gambling is more fun when your instincts are right.
When you lose a game you knew you were going to lose it but when your instincts are right and you win the game then the feeling is different.
It hits hard within yourself to be honest. I like it that way instead of looking for more strategies.
174  Local / India / Re: New ATH | BTCINR | Still a long way to go on: March 14, 2024, 04:55:55 PM
Almost every week Bitcoin is now pumping and creating new high. I never thought of checking it's price in INR. I was only checking the price in USD. Thanks for coming up with this thread, I today checked the price and found it to be going towards 61 lac. You can now buy a flat or a house with 1 BTC ofcourse you will need to sell it which is a bad idea at the moment.

Yesterday I checked the price on wazirx, there were decent amounts of orders filled for the price around 62.90L. Obviously its a lot of money but we are nowhere near the new all-time high if my assumption is right so atleast wait for 1cr range before selling BTC that may happen in matter of months.

What am feeling now, little bit of regret why I didn't stake early when Bitcoin was less than 3 lakhs. Smiley
What staking are you talking about?
He means "stacking" bitcoin meaning accumulating and not "staking".

Stacking could be the right word but I still prefer the word stake (risk money). Wink

1 cr is definitely a big target but still achievable looking at the current pump in bitcoin.

175  Local / India / Re: New ATH | BTCINR | Still a long way to go on: March 13, 2024, 04:20:56 PM
Yup a new all time high has been reached and the correction has already set in, so it wont be long before it drops back. However a buying pressure is there pushing the price back up to 73k USD every now and then and I guess this can lead to even higher price and a new ATH in the next few days.

In short we are not over from this drama as of now and definitely not the price to buy any bitcoin.

Not the price to buy any bitcoin ? Why do you say do ?
Don't you think any price is a good price to buy some bitcoin because we are still way too early into bitcoin.
10 years down the line we'll be talking into millions per BTC probably and hopefully.
176  Local / India / Re: ₹ Erupee transactions hit 1 million per day on: March 13, 2024, 04:16:20 PM
Yes, we do see offers on Binance P2P which accepts the transaction in eRupee. In fact, I just made my first eRupee transaction.
I made a P2P transaction on Binance and encashed some money into the eRupee wallet.
After that, I redeemed the amount which then got credited directly to my bank account.
Can you tell us a bit about the details of this process and how much in total you had to pay ("Waste") in fees? What about taxation and all that horrible stuff?

I thought Binance was blocked by our ISPs at present. Did you use a VPN to access it?

If it is good enough, then we can proceed with selling some of our crypto stashes during this bull run.

I was using binance app in my phone. It is still accessible without any VPN.
You cannot install it from playstore anymore but if you already have it installed then you can continue using it.
On Binance, I just matched a P2P order for a certain price and that was it. There were no additional charges.
The amount they showed was the same that got credited in my eRupee wallet and then I redeemed it in bank account.
There were no such charges in getting it in the bank. Now it all depends on what you show in your ITR while filling taxes.
177  Local / India / Re: Heisenberg_Hunter is a fraud! on: March 13, 2024, 04:10:21 PM
Is anyone here in this forum who does not think that he is not a fraudster? Please be patient and as I have somewhat situation which I think should be the reason for his ban.

You should have directly explained what happened instead of asking people about him. Let them be the judge.
Besides that, there wasn't a need to post the same thread twice.
Also, you do have the option to directly post about anyone in the Reputation board.
You can get a wider audience there unless it's something to do within the Indian board itself.
178  Economy / Gambling / Re: Need help. I GOT PHISHED FOR 9K ON STAKE.COM on: March 13, 2024, 04:03:58 PM
Anyways if anyone knows anything or knows if I can even get this money back from a long time ago lmk

I am happy to also give someone 200-500 dollars if they’re able to help because at the time it was 9k now it’s 20 but still if helps out I will compensate them for their time

If you have been in crypto for quite some time now then you should be knowing that you are the owner of your coins.
Once crypto is gone from your account there is no way you are getting it back.
The best possible help would have been if Stake decided to help you but they have bluntly said no.
So there is literally nothing you can do to get your money back. Just take it as a lesson and try to educate yourself more on how to avoid such scams.
179  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A call to self-examining our gambling habit. on: March 13, 2024, 03:58:46 PM
I think it's hard to self examine because a gambler is always chasing losses. His thought process is just to recover the money lost.
So the chances of him self examining his gambling addiction becomes very low since he would fine every chance to play more and recover the losses.
There should be some kind of strategy so that addicted people has to forcefully self-examine their gambling habits.
Only then, we can potentially see some positive results out of it.

It's good to know that you have been following cryptocurrencies since so long but then why didn't you invest in it earlier ?
Is it the fact that you didn't believe in it or you didn't have any money to buy it.
Whatever be the case, it's good that you have started investing in it now and plan to hold it long.
