161  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 18, 2023, 01:32:18 PM

Copenhagen vs Manchester City - Once again this is an easy and comfortable draw for the manchester side who has always benefited from UEFA by playing the weakest teasm in the round of 16 ties every season; without surprise, many predicted this outcome for city and even won loads of cash prizes online lol

An easy win for pep struggling side; they are sure to play in the uefa champions league quater finals this season

Porto vs Arsenal - This will be an interesting tie; with both teams having equal chances of getting to the quaters of the   uefa champions league this season. Do you think the gunners stand a chance ?

RB Leizpig vs Real Madrid - A huge tie for the galacticos as they face an injury crisis within their ranks; do you think Real Madrid prowess would be enough to outscore Leizpig in this tie?

I think Real Madrid will quality albiet ugly, what do you think ?

PSV vs Dortmund

I tip dormund scaling through here; psv does not just have enough to defeat the bundesliga team.

PSG vs Real Sociedad - An easy routine win for PSG, or can sociedad pull a shock  and knock out the french ligue giants?

Inter vs Atletico Madrid - A tie popular amongst both teams, usually rough and edgy and many cards issued haha. I have an open cast for this game, Inter could edge out and go for the quarters

Napoli vs Barcelona - Napoli has been bad this season, while Barcelona has been very incosistent too; i think the best team over the legs wins the tie

Lazio vs Bayern - great tie; and i am of the opinion that if Bayern doesn;t win this tie comfortably then he should be sacked haha.

MY THOUGHTS

In fact, I want to say that the result of this match was unfair for Liverpool,

Well, there are 2 sides to this statment and both are true.

1. The match was unfair to Liverpool as they were the better team out of the two and dominated most proceedings. Meanwhile the truth remains that it was a poor performance from the Liverpool side; who could not defeat a Manchester United side that played nothing in the entire 90 minutes.

2. Also, Liverpool did not create notable chances to win the tie; the poor Manchester united side had the best chances to seal the game and steal the points; this is not a league winner performance from liverpool

Incredible performance by Real Madrid with scoring 4 goals tonight

A good performance from Real Madrid to send them back to the top of league standings atleast until Giro na plays tomorrow.  Loosing David Alaba is a huge blow and Real Madrid will definitely be trying to get in a temporal replacement for the talisman

Good season so far for real Madrid as they look to win the la Liga title this season

Casemiro at Saudi league would be a dream come true for him, because he will not be able to make that much money anywhere else, and getting 10-20 even more millions per year is not something he could do ever, so it would be a great way to make as much money as possible before he retires. He is not that old neither, so he could play another 3-4 years as well, which means even at 25 million a year, that's another 100 million euros to his networth, that puts him at the top of the pile and could be considered a bit different.

I believe that we need to end up with something that doesn't really hurt anyone, United doesn't want him, Saudis would want him, and he would be getting richer, this works out for everyone in the end.

I think Casemiro to the Saudi League would be a win win for both parties; Casemiro gets his fat big wage; while the Saudi league gets a brazilian prodigy gem in the talisman which means more exposures and more brands towards the league.

The bigger question will be if the saudi league wants him; because definitely MUFC will be loooking to replace him by next summer

Newcastle are back in form today I'm as much as they didn't play well in the first half the compensated that by going all out in the second half. Manchester city continue there winning ways today and now they have shifted the pressure to Arsenal and Liverpool.
I think Arsenal has a good chance to top the English premier league going into the Xmas period and probably into the new year.

Newcastle United are very quiet about their doings; while facing european disqualification; the group are quietly winning and getting their points in the premier league and slowly climbing up the league table. They are now 5 points off the champions league places.

While Manchester city continue to strruggle in the league and Europe; Chelsea get a win at home while the Luton game was abandoned. Hopefully Luton captain Tom recovers from the tragic collapse.

Tomorrow, Liverpool Hosts the fallen and badly coach Red Devils while Arsenal face high flying brighton side. Who will end the weekend as league leaders between Liverpool and Arsenal ?

We can say that Tottenham has achieved great stability after the troubles they experienced in the interim. They maintain their place in the top five. If they continue with such a good game plan, they can step into the top four and stay there. Many players in the team are in very good form and doing good work. Kulusevski was the best player in the Nottingham Forest match, that magnificent goal he scored was very good, he faced the goalkeeper and finished very confidently. The absence of Maddison and Richarlison affected the team greatly. If these problems did not exist, we would have seen Totthenem much higher, and as I said, they still have opportunities.

We can;t say stabiliity yet. We can just say that Tottenham Hotspur has returned to winning ways in the premier league; getting a 2 goal win away at Nottingham Forest, with a rare goal for talisman Richardlison who has struggled in front of goal for over a year.

The win ensures that Tottenham hotspur REMAIN IN Contention for the top 4 places in the premier league table. With Maddison returning from injury soon; Tottenham could spark themselves to another winning run before xmas.

For me, the tie for the day in the UEFA Europa League this season is in the Group A, where West Ham United hosts Freiburg. Both West Ham United and Freiburg are on 12 points with West Ham leading the group thanks to winning away in Germany. Its a winner takes it all today for the hammers. do you think Moyes boys can get all 3 points and win the group?

A win or draw keeps West Ham United as group winners while Freiburg definitely needs a win.
What are your predictions ?

168  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 14, 2023, 01:40:26 PM
Manchester United is heavily linked with Harry Potter as Erik Ten Hag's replacement. For me, instead of Harry Potter replacing Erik Ten Hag, Manchester United owners should allow Erik Ten Hag to end the Premier League season with Manchester United to give Manchester United management enough room to get a better coach as Erik Ten Hag's replacement.

Getting linked to Harry Potter as head coach is like going from frying pan to fire. and sometimes i do wonder what the Manchester United management board think or do because it majorly defeats reasoning haha.

I don't want the MUFC board to give that coach any more chances, he is simply not good enough to coach the Manchester United football club!!!
As for Ten hag; he is lost in the premier league and i hope he has a shameful defeat against Liverppool this weekend to finalize his sack.
169  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Premier League 2023/2024 Discussion Thread ⚽ on: December 14, 2023, 01:32:55 PM
I remember this kind of a season from somewhere.  Huh  There was a season in the past in which Manchester City were even much worse than this situation in the Premier League. However they still captured the league title at the end by coming from really far behind.  Grin  Would this be another season in which they do the same?

I say why not? Because at the end of the day they still have the best squad in the league and the best manager who is Guardiola at the same time.

They are already doing great in the Champions League statistically and I believe that they will make things better soon here also.

I think genuinely that this seasos is nnot like other seasons; Because Manchester City are clearly struggling with injuries and poor form from players (most espcially the defense line). Can Manchester City bounce back, yes ofcourse; but this season its not certain yet as many small teams are evern stronger

A city win again Crystal Palace can further proof your point though; we wait

Newcastle needs to learn from the past mistke. It never gets any improvement even sinve newcastle played draw against acmilan in the first leg.

I am quite disappointed in Newcastle United; for failing to take advantage, do the needful at home to AC MIlan that would enable them qualify for European places. Kudos for AC Milan for triumphing and getting atleast europa league spot.

Now the next round is here, who are you tipping for success?
171  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 13, 2023, 10:45:44 AM
The tie of the day is the Group F in the UEFA Champions League

Will Newcastle United edge PSG and qualify for the champions league round of 16 or would PSG go through? Regardless of whatever happens tonight, Newcastle United have had a successful season already in the champions league and even if they slip to the europa league; the season is a success already.

What are your guesses? Do you think Luis Enrique guys can edge it ? or will Eddie Howe boss it?
I think Newcastle United will defeat AC Milan, while PSG draws Borussia Dortmund.
172  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 13, 2023, 10:27:52 AM
Manchester United are really crying for help these days.

Manchester United are crying for a new coach and i wonder when the board will work in that direction and fix it well. The Manchester United plays without tactics, no style of play, no build up plans or any attacking intents at all.

What Manchester United is a better coach not that tactical fraud lol. This weekend, they face Liverpool; another demolition in sight.
173  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: December 12, 2023, 11:51:26 PM

Cause the things at Manchester are just so bad.

They are not playing as a team and as predicted, they are out

The scenes at old Trafford is quite horrible; they are playing like a team that is not coached at all; without structure, without coaching instructions or tactics. Its been awful from Ten Hag and the players and to be honest, i wonder when he will get the sack. Loosing 4 champions league games; conceding over 15 goals in 6 games, can't score

Its shameful tbh.

I was reading some comments on line today and a story caught my attention, and I want to know how possible this is.

A guy claimed he won $5000 on a poker machine and that's where his addiction began, and when it get to the point that he lost his rent money to gambling he decide to take matters in his one way.

What do you think? This is an insanely move on oneself to stop addiction, something done right? Would you do the same if such is possible in your country?
'
I read the comments and i think people missed the vital truth. The guy that won 5000$ is already addicted; He is a gambling addict before he won the sum of 5000$ from the poker machine. The winning was simply the trigger neccessary for everyone to notice glaringly that he is addicted.

its easy to stop addiction; friends and family needs to step in and help him, mentally and medically

Pochettino is good

This is false, Pochettino is not good enough for the chelsea clubside. Last transfer market, Chelsea and Liverpool searched for same profile of midfielders; Chelsea got all, and Liverpool got none; today, Chelsea is struggling while Liverpool is right at the top; excellent coaching by Klopp and awful coaching by the Chelsea manager

He definitely needs to do better; over 9 months and no convincing performances!!
Chelsea deserves better
178  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: December 11, 2023, 01:54:42 PM

Newcastle seems to have lost their soul in the last few weeks and not only have they lost twice but they have also only won twice in the last 5 matches. Obviously this is not a good result when competition is getting tighter and each team will take advantage of the bad conditions of a team's performance to get a better place in the standings.

Newcastle United have not lost their soul; thats just what they are, inconsistent!
The players are not good enough to challenge for top places; and with an injury crisis already in place; the performance from Newcastle United will continue to be inconsistent. The coach is doing greatly with the players at his disposals and i can tell you for a fact that this is not the best of the Newcastle United side.
